Re: Davies Character Conversions Multiverse

Core Members of the Legion of Super-Heroes: Moondragon (II): Scotty Richards (in full Susan Katherine Richards-Summers, but she dropped her mother's name after her parents split) is a telepath, and a pretty powerful and versatile one. She is not a reality warping telekinetic, as both of her parents...

Davies Character Conversions Multiverse

Those of you who were around in the Atomic Think Tank days might remember that I came up with a DC/Marvel/other stuff setting. What follows is the Earth-2 version of that setting, which shares the same prehistory. 1895 Kal-L arrives, gates open, super powers and magic become easier to use. 1920 Thom...

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse

First issue came out yesterday. It's ... interesting, if a bit too obviously Spider-Verse influenced.

Re: World of Freedom 3.2 Setting Detail

They have operated in the US, and have had occasional missions in Russia, but China has "politely" declined any offers to have the team intervene in situations within their borders.

Re: World of Freedom 3.2 Setting Detail

Author's Note: Background for my next several character builds ... The Vanguard In 1992, a mysterious figure who called himself the Seer recruited a team of superhumans whose powers (and some cases activities) had made them into outcasts. The Seer's purpose was to prevent certain events, which he d...

Since I don't know where else to ask, anybody been watching Watchmen on HBO?
I'm actually waiting for all the episodes to be released so I can watch them in one go, like I read the graphic novel.

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.

Somewhat amusingly, the big finale of Event Leviathan was spoiled a month ago by DC's screwy Jimmy Olsen book. Which speaks volumes of the amount of editorial oversight that the company possesses. Or possibly they've stopped pretending to care. I'm flipped through the Jimmy Olsen book, and it basic...

Re: World of Freedom 3.2 - Whatever Comes To Mind

Since I wouldn't be terribly surprised if RoninArmy shut down permanently sometime in the near future, I'm reposting my write-ups for the Golden Age heroes of Emerald City ... The Victory Squadron ATLAS (Michael Forest): A circus strongman of Greek ancestry who used his incredible physique to battl...

Re: World of Freedom 3.2 Setting Detail

Wow October 2016 is a big event. That's pretty much everybody. "You want more?!" :D It's funny, I don't really like the big crossover events, but I definitely get why the writers do them (beyond the fact that they sell.) And motherhood seems to be doing wonders for Songbird's perspective. Yep.
