Re: Gods Amongst Man Epoch (3e M&M Recruitment)
Posting much interest! I will probably go with a Speedster (I saw you had considered it, pathfinderq, but I really love me my speedsters). I'm leaning toward a college-aged student studying law, estranged from his fairly wealthy family from a difference in opinion of subjects which I haven't decided...

Re: [OOC] To Live Will Be An Awfully Big Adventure (Recruiting 3-4)
Question: your house-ruled Impervious doesn't seem to be any different from the normal rules for Impervious in 3e: Impervious ignores effects of up to half of its ranks. Am I misreading your house-rule?

Re: So, You Want To Save The World, Do You? (M&M3e, OOC, recruiting)
About Secondary effect only having 8 ranks, does that mean if you use 9-12 ranks, it won't happen? I couldn't tell if this had been answered, but: if the Secondary Effect is only 8 ranks, then it only counts 8 ranks for the Secondary Effect effect--so a Rank 12 Affliction would become Rank 8 for th...

Re: Falling Rocks, 3E, recruiting
Thokk and Otter, looks like great stuff. The creative juices are flowing. Would you like to make sketches of character sheet? Again, pp and pl should fit character. I mentioned in my first post, I'm envisioning Rekin and his crew as being fairly powerful (above street-level, average superheroes), b...

Re: Falling Rocks, 3E, recruiting
Just posting to say I am still here, and have moar ideas for crewmates (like a man whose very presence no one can remember who wants to make a mark on the world through food). I've just been busy with work and lack of energy after work. I'm hoping the weekend will give me time to work on polishing m...

Re: Falling Rocks, 3E, recruiting
Sorry for the double post, but @Spectrum, might I ask for your thoughts on my quick write-up? I'd just like to get feedback before I write out the rest of the crew in more detail.

Re: Falling Rocks, 3E, recruiting
Well, that's certainly for more in depth and interesting then the little blubs I came up with. I can see them in the own series easily, and not just because they already were. ;) by far the most durable I have a feeling that Mark would be willing to challenge him on that statement... :D Hey, now, t...

Re: Falling Rocks, 3E, recruiting
These are the ideas I've been throwing around in my head since you posted: The Jade Emperor must be powerful on his own, to rule a nation of his own power. However, men like that tend to seek ever more power as well. The core crew members of my character's crew, then, are all men and women who were ...

Re: Falling Rocks, 3E, recruiting
I'd like to post interest! Here's my pitch: My character is a "villain" in that the governments of the world don't much care for him. He doesn't care about international borders, he doesn't care about treaties or stuff like that. What he does like is ADVENTURING. He fancies himself a moder...

Re: CORELINE: CRASH TEST WORLD TOUR (OOC, RECRUITMENT)
Marco, I dunno how much you know about Emiya and Unlimited Blade Works, but would you be okay with my using the Variable structure for it? If so, how many points would each rank be? The powers it makes would be limited to offensive powers (Damage, Drain, etc) and powers that could reasonably be used...

Re: CORELINE: CRASH TEST WORLD TOUR (OOC, RECRUITMENT)
Okay, I've gotten a better grasp of the mechanics of 2e, although I still have a loooooong way to go for full comprehension. As such, please be patient with any questions I have along the way ^_^; I do have something resembling a character concept: It's a Shirou Emiya who went through the Fifth Grai...

Re: CORELINE: CRASH TEST WORLD TOUR (OOC, RECRUITMENT)
Awesome! No, please, if you're not comfortable with the edition then the game'll be less for it. I'll work on reading up on 2e while I consider character concepts. There are just so many options! (Although, a question: Your house rule of 1PP for 2 skill ranks, how is that different from the normal 2...

Re: CORELINE: CRASH TEST WORLD TOUR (OOC, RECRUITMENT)
I've looked at the setting, and it looks Crazy Awesome! I don't know if it's too late to post (I'm brand new to the forums, don't know if there's a time limit), but I'd be interested in playing in the setting. Is there any chance it could be run in 3e? I'm far more competent with 3e than 2e, but I c...
