Re: [Interest] RWBY

Am present as well, maybe a little light on the activity since I'm not really doing anything else here.

I look forward to this game playing as smoothly as you're hyping it up to. No problem with this being a playtest.

Re: [Interest] RWBY

Well it certainly looks interesting. Would definitely need examples to work with, since it mentions things like Traits and Approaches, but doesn't define them much beyond 'training and skills'. Are these like Fantaji Traits, where they are like fanciful cliches and phrases keyed to our characters wh...

Sure. Lets say like, 50 meters radius? (Football field range)

Re: [Interest] RWBY

I like that it requires the person stolen from to be conscious. It's like a small exploitable flaw in his power where an enemy side, if they learn of it, can decide if it's worth fighting a man short to deprive you of that man's power and knock their own guy out to shut off your semblance, at least...

Re: [Interest] RWBY

I swear, I didn't want for this to be so complicated that I needed to rehash it 6 times. T-T Phantom Thief: Steals attributes from people and monsters, and allows him to give them to others for a limited time. One attribute at a time, split up between any number of targets. More stolen = more cost. ...

Re: [Interest] RWBY

Phantom Thief: He can grant his aura the ability to steal physical traits from his opponents on contact, and is capable of transferring it to himself and allies through homing orbs of aura, delegating them as he sees fit. They will retain enhancements for about a minute, the orbs stack benefits but ...

Re: [Interest] RWBY

Okay..... I am not as much a fan of this iteration. Again, pointing out aura is a tangible manifestation of someone's soul. "stealing" it to give to other people has morality issues that have been raised in the show, which makes it not so great a concept for a semblance of any nature. I w...

Re: [Interest] RWBY

Overall, very cool character concept. His weapon seems very "high skill ceiling" with lots of versatility, able to defend, attack in melee and at range, and with dust utilize various other possible effects. His semblance is very cool in concept, but it feels to me like it needs a little t...

Re: [Interest] RWBY

My color theme will be green and grey, primarily the former. The weapon I've designed could summarily be described as one part lantern shield, one part arm-mounted turret, one part iaido. Working technical name is 'Dust Fusion Battle Lantern'. Schematics up soon, when I come up with a petname for it...

Re: So, You Want To Save The World, Do You? (OOC, closed recruiting until 27th)

My schedule is weird. I'll be unavailable for a few days, but I work third shift at a laid back job, so I can be around between like 10pm/12am-6am on most days. And varying times that aren't those times.
