The sword was never concealed on him; it was on Nightbird's bike - where the rest of his gear and costume is now. I expected I would only have the commlink for this part.

I don't know how relevant it is anymore, but this is how I envision Jason's sorcery working.

The only equipment Liam has been using this part is his sword, hoverboard, and commlink. He never took the time to change out of his tux.
