Re: Jab’s Builds! (Atlas! Jolt! Charcoal! Elements of Doom! Blizzard!)

They made it pretty clear that the Blank was dead after the incident with Graviton, and but it'd be easy enough to say that the force field had a supply of breathable air in it to keep him from drowning. The idea that the belt was bonded to him permanently and he couldn't remove it is kind of weird...

Re: Kirinke's Compendium of Wondrous Creatures: Rakshasa Through Rust Monster

Yeah Purple Worms are super huge in D&D, almost always with some kind of Swallow Whole attack and a crapload of Hit points. Your party is usually going to be in double digit levels before wanting to mess with one. I remember Phase Spiders being super scary in one of the old D&D computer games becaus...

Wow. The Fixer/Techno has gone through almost as many bodies as Ultron. You almost feel bad for him, until you remember he's evil.

Re: Jab’s Builds! (Kang! Immortus! The Masters of Evil! Moonstone!)

I always thought the Thunderbolts tagline "Justice, like lightning" was really good. It's a lot more evocative than your boring "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" and the like.

Re: Jab’s Builds! (Kang the Conqueror! Immortus! The Masters of Evil!)

Before today I would've felt pretty confident saying Satannish and Pink Pearl had never been on the same team. I mean, how does Satannish, one of the Lords of Hell, get involved with that team of nobodies?

Maybe all the evil ones teamed up to take out the Kangs with good fashion sense for making them look bad

Isn't this where PL and pp have interplay?

So, what I'm hearing is that unpowered humans have low pl but may have wide pp?
Again, I'll agree with that line of thought.
Yep, I'm down with that.

EDIT: Uh oh. I just tried to reference Jab's Batman build and the link goes to RoninArmy :o

Re: Jab’s Builds! (Hawkeye! Mockingbird! The Tracksuit Bros! Imus Champion!)

At the expense of possibly derailing the thread, I personally think unpowered humans get too much push against powered opponents. I'd never give Batman a chance in a straight up fight against a moderately experienced powered opponent. He just can't dish out the damage to keep up with super powers. T...

Re: The most petty thing you'd do as a comics creator

Can we have Patsy as a supporting character, sort of their guide through Hell? Just because I'm a fan of the character and the only thing she's had recently was that awful solo series.

Re: Jab’s Builds! (Hawkeye Builds! Crossfire! Mockingbird!)

Funny thing about "it was a skull": Bobbi was actually shown multiple times to be in Hell during the time when she was dead. Both she and Patsy Walker were in the Arena of Tainted Souls forced to fight continuously. Hawkeye and the Thunderbolts went into Hell to try to rescue Bobbi but were tricked ...
