Re: Godzilla King Of The Monsters

Godzilla Aftershock is a sequel to Godzilla 2014. It covers an encounter between Godzilla and a new monster called the MUTO Prime.

The story itself is self contained. But I seriously recommend getting it. It's a great book.

Re: Godzillla Anime Trilogy

The DVDs I got were Region 0 from Maylasia. Means they work with every DVD player. Regardless of region. And they have english dub and subtitle tracks. They were worth every bit of the $39 I spent for all three DVDs. The Planet Eater was the one most heavily edited and censored. The start of that mo...

Godzillla Anime Trilogy

Originally. I watched this on Netflix. Godzilla: Planet Of The Monsters, Godzilla: City On The Edge Of Battle, Godzilla: The Planet Eater. I'm a huge Godzilla fan. Have been since I was a little kid. But this trilogy struck me as wrong. Something was off. And as a result, I didn't really enjoy it. W...

Re: Darkseid vs Thanos

Thanos keeps getting defeated by Squirrel Girl. So there is no contest. Darkseid would drop Thanos regardless of whether he had the Infinity Gauntlet or not. All he has to do is expose Thanos to the Anti-Life Equasion. And Thanos becomes a mindless drone that will just hand the Infinity Gauntlet to ...

Doom Patrol, The TV series.

I was never a fan of the comics version. But 4 episodes in? This has me absolutely hooked. It's fantastic!

Re: Star Trek vs. Transformers

I got issue #5 a few days ago. Which is the conclusion of the limited series. It was just as glorious as the rest of the series!

And it of course sets up the possibility for a sequel. Which would be more than welcome to me.

"Mean" Gene was the best at what he did. Period. He was an icon. He was one of the voices for the generation of wrestling fans I belong to. And nobody will ever match him.

Re: The most petty thing you'd do as a comics creator

In Marvel? Fire all modern day writers, artists, and editors. Then roll back the timeline of the Marvel Universe to occurring just before the original Secret Wars. After that: Establish a house style that is more in keeping with the Bronze Age Marvel style. When Marvel was at its greatest. Pre-Mille...

Re: Star Trek vs. Transformers

My one regret with this? That Nimoy didn't live long enough to voice act this as an animated movie.

We all know Shatner would do it in a heartbeat.

Star Trek vs. Transformers

This is the crossover comic limited series nobody would have believed would work. But it does. And it is glorious!

Generation One Transformers colliding with Star Trek: The Animated Series. It is as crazy as one would think it would be. And more!

More comics these days need to be this kind of fun!

Re: Small Press Comic Companies - Talk About Em Here

I'm horrified by the behavior. That so-called professionals would even think of attacking customers and critics. It's bad business. And the publishers shouldn't be putting up with it for a second.
