Complications
- Feud: The Jedi and Sith Orders have been at war with each other for so long that it is unlikely either side in the conflict actually remembers what started their opposition to one another.
- Honor: Aayla will always keep her word, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in her dealings.

Audere est Facere Brainstorm & Notes

Audere est Facere
Premise: The lives of both Lady Revan and a certain young wizard with sparkling green eyes and messy black hair will be irrevocably altered on the day that Darth Malak decides to betray his Master. What new adventures await Revan as she discovers what it means to be a mother, and how will Bastila react to a benevolent Revan?
Required Inclusions:
- Both Revan and Bastila must wind up stranded in the Sol System with absolutely no idea how to return to the Galactic Core, which is possible if Earth is in the Unknown Regions.
- While their relationship will likely be rocky to start with, Revan and Bastila must eventually form a bond of friendship and trust, if not romance, with Bastila coming to view Revan as her Master.
- Shortly after her arrival on Earth, Revan must discover young Harry Potter and decide to adopt him as her personal Apprentice / son. His exact age upon discovery is up to the author.
- The story must focus as much time on Revan’s adventures as it does on Harry’s, if not focusing more on Revan’s adventures, so as to differentiate it from other similar stories.
- Instead of having Revan take multiple Apprentices, it is suggested that the author graduate Bastila to the Rank of Knight/Darth, and have her take on her own Apprentice.
- Revan must decide to switch to a Green-bladed Lightsaber after arriving on Earth, though the exact reason she makes this decision is left open to the author’s interpretation.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Revan should be a largely benign Sith, despite the fact that she most definitely qualifies as a Sith in terms of how she would deal with her enemies.
- Likewise, Bastila must be extremely reluctant to draw upon the Dark Side of the Force, but should eventually reach a point where she could be considered a Gray Jedi.
- Harry and his fellow apprentice(s) should be trained in both Sith and Jedi practices, allowing them to gain the benefits of both schools of thought without the drawbacks.
Optional Inclusions:
- Revan and Bastila were both physically and temporally displaced, resulting in the two of them arriving on Earth a decade or two prior to the start of the Clone Wars.
- Harry and his fellow apprentice(s) using violet bladed lightsabers due to their training style.
Forbidden Things:
- The main characters being weak emo doormats.
- HK-47 being involved in raising Harry.

Complications
- Dark Presence: Lady Revan is such a powerful Sith that anyone with the ability to detect other Force Users who happens to be on the same planet as her would be able to sense her presence no matter where they happen to be located on that planet in relation to Lady Revan. Fortunately, Bastila Shan is the only other person on Earth with such an ability. It is also worth noting, that this doesn't tell people anything more than which side of the Force she draws power from.
- Destiny: It is Revan's current destiny to train Harry Potter in how to use the Force so that he has a considerable advantage when faced with the wizard who deludes himself into believing he qualifies as a Dark Lord, one Tom Marvolo Riddle (aka Voldemort).
- Motivation: Responsibility: Malak's betrayal of Revan has made the woman realize that there is more to the Force than either the Sith or Jedi have yet to realize, which has led to her decision to create an entirely new Force Tradition which aims to teach its practitioners how to achieve a state of Balance with both sides of the Force.
- Relationship: Revan has a rather vitriolic friendship with Bastila Shan that may soon blossom into an actual romance.

Re: The Lightsaber: The canonical Revan's original Lightsaber was destroyed during his battle with Bastila's strike team, so having this version of the character construct a new Saber after the battle does actually make sense.

Complications
- Ageism: Harry has only recently turned five years old, and thus the fact that he is learning how to properly wield a laser sword will cause waves among the more 'rational' parents in Stinchcombe, to say nothing of how the wand-wavers will feel about his ability to use 'magic' without a such a silly device.

Primum Inter Filiae Brainstorm & Notes

Primum Inter Filiae
Premise: On the night that Dumbledore left Eirlys Potter on the doorstep, a second being was there with one purpose in mind: they knew the girl would be in a war, so they took it upon themselves to give her the strength that she needed in order to win.
Required Inclusions:
- Eirlys’ moral and ethical alignment must be gray or dark gray.
- The being who takes Eirlys away must be part of some form of warrior race.
- The story must feature tidbits from Eirlys’ childhood and upbringing with this warrior.
- The individual responsible for taking Eirlys away from Earth must adopt her and/or give her some measure of protection via his or her political station.
- Eirlys must be romantically paired with a male character (unless Eirlys is a metamorphmagus, in which case female pairings only).
- When Eirlys eventually returns to Earth in order to deal with the threat that is Voldemort, she must use both her warrior training and magical abilities to her advantage.
- Eirlys’ strength and abilities must unnerve certain people, particularly among Dumbledore’s faction within the Wizarding World.
- At least one of the students at Hogwarts must be aware of Eirlys’ manner of training, though whether they have received similar training or not is up to the author.
- Eirlys must, at some point in the story, offer to train at least one other character in the ways of her paternal (or maternal) figure’s fighting style.
Preferred Inclusions:
- It is preferred that the one who found Eirlys be none other than Emperor/Senator Palpatine, and that she become his “Secret Apprentice” in the same way that Starkiller was Vader’s.
- If set during the Clone Wars, then it is suggested that Eirlys use a Violet-bladed Lightsaber instead of the standard Red-bladed Sith Lightsabers, to disguise her allegiance.
- At least a portion of Eirlys’ training with her new family must cover how to take on the role of Empress should anything ever happen to her father once he becomes the Galactic Emperor.
Optional Inclusions:
- Palpatine should present the image of a family man by having Eirlys randomly pop into meetings during his time as Senator of Naboo, Chancellor of the Senate and Galactic Emperor.
- It is suggested that Eirlys be about the same age as Aayla Secura and a metamorphmagus.
Forbidden Things:
- The Dursley family getting their hands on Eirlys at any point in the story.
- Dumbledore, or anyone else, managing to convince Eirlys to give up her darker powers.
- Dumbledore and/or Voldemort managing to gain the allegiance of Eirlys’ family.
- Aayla remaining perfectly true to the Light Side after bonding with Eirlys.

As fun as it was to build a Sith, I don't think I can realistically write a Sith character as a protagonist; so I will be thinking of something else to work on... but will probably be staying within Star Wars for now.

Virtute Duce Comite Fortuna
Premise: The last thing that Jedi Master Fay ever expected, was for the Force to draw her to a completely undiscovered world that was literally chock full of Force Sensitives so that she might rescue a young girl and instruct her in the ways of the Jedi. That young girl? Iris Potter, the Girl Who Lived!
Required Inclusions:
- Iris must be between 3 and 5 years of age when Fay manages to locate and rescue her from the Dursley family, as that is the proper age to begin Jedi training.
- Fay must, for whatever reason, decide to remain on Earth while conducting Iris’ training in the ways of the Jedi, although she is allowed to take Iris off-world to construct her Lightsaber.
- Despite not carrying a Lightsaber into battles, Fay must actually have both her own personal Lightsaber and a Training Saber on her ship so as to train a potential Padawan in their use.
- Fay must classify the gauntlet at the end of First Year as an effective equivalent to the Jedi Initiate Trials, and with the Council’s permission, promote Iris to the rank of Padawan that year.
- Iris must possess at least Partial Metamorphmagus qualities, allowing her to alter her hair and eye color at will, even if nothing else; and should opt for a hair color that resembles Fay’s own.
- Iris must eventually become involved in the Clone Wars, and must also gain her own Clone Troops division; however she must also be one of the Jedi who manages to survive the war.
Preferred Inclusions:
- It is preferred that the story skim over the time between when Fay finds Iris and when the latter starts her Hogwarts years, while giving a more in-depth account of Iris’ time at Hogwarts.
- It is preferred that Iris form at least one romantic bond a piece, both at Hogwarts and in the Galaxy at large once she gets there; although the Hogwarts bond can come with her.
- It is preferred that a considerable portion of the story be devoted to developing Jedi Master Fay as a character, rather than devoting the entirety of the story to chronicling Iris’ adventures.
Optional Inclusions:
- It is suggested that the author give Fay a romantic connection with either Sirius Black, or Amelia Bones during her time on Earth.
- It is suggested that Iris be on hand to stop the massacre of the younglings at the Jedi Temple.
Forbidden Things:
- Fay and/or Iris falling to the Dark Side of the Force.

Complications

She has even opted not to outfit her ship with weapons, despite the fact that it possesses the emplacement points necessary to allow her to do such a thing.

Complications
- Frail: Due to the Blood Malediction that she suffers from, Daphne is easily exhausted. At any time when she makes an Acrobatics, Athletics or other physically demanding skill check, as well as for every 5 rounds of sustained combat (even when using ranged attacks), she must simultaneously make a DC 10 Fortitude check. If she fails this check then she becomes Fatigued. Every time she uses one of the aforementioned skills within the same scene, as well as for every 5 rounds of combat within a single scene, the DC for her next Fortitude check in that same scene will increase by 1 point. Standard rules regarding additional degrees of fatigue apply.
- Motivation: Thrills: Daphne lives her life to the fullest, because she realizes that each and every day of her life could in fact be her last due to the hereditary curse she and her sister are both afflicted with.
- Relationships: Daphne is the best friend of Tracey Davis, and also the elder sister of Astoria Greengrass. She is furthermore, the eldest daughter of the late Elizabeth Greengrass (née Rosier), and her husband Cyrus Greengrass.
- Trait of Consequence: Daphne's Takedown advantages can only be used in conjunction with her Glacius Virilis spell, which means that it is only really useful for clearing a room full of male Minions.

Complications
- Motivation: Protector: Tracey's friendship with Daphne basically amounts to one really massive "Escort Game", as it is often Tracey's role to act as the Knight in Shining Armor to Daphne's Distressed Damsel.

Complications
- Cultural Awkwardness: Sirius will discover that he is completely out of his depth while traveling the stars inside his new girlfriend's "overly glorified sardine can"... then again, the same could be said for just about every single Pure-Blood witch or wizard who has ever been born.
- Easily Distracted: Sirius finds Master Fay to be the single most distracting thing in a surprisingly large galaxy that is just full of strange and fascinating whirring things, flashing doodads and bizarre (and sometimes sexy) whatchamacallits!
- Motivation: Thrills: This is what Sirius lives for, the thrill of pulling a good prank, or participating in a grand adventure... or even better, succeeding in his efforts to court the unflappable Fay Trislana!
- Oblivious Mayfly: Sirius is either unaware or uncaring of the fact that he is possibly hundreds of years younger than Fay, and could never even hope to acquire the same degree of longevity as she possesses.
- Prejudice: A staggering number of Jedi will consider Sirius to be nothing more than a Dark Side Adept simply because he can assume the form of an animal. This is because the Dark-side Force Users known as the Nightsisters of Dathomir have shown themselves to be capable of performing a remarkably similar feat.
- Relationship: Sirius is Iris Potter's godfather, and is also the individual who almost every Force Sensitive on Earth believes was responsible for handing the Potter's over to the "Dark Lord" known as Voldemort. This is because Sirius pretended to be the Secret Keeper for the Potter family's Fidelius charm, when in reality, he never was said Secret Keeper.

Build Comments: For the purposes of Adaptable Linguist, assume that English and Latin share a close enough link with Galactic Basic and High Galactic respectively, that Sirius would be able to communicate in those languages with only a -2 circumstance penalty on his Interaction checks. There will be a reason in the narrative as to why this is the case, but it would spoil too much to explain that reason.
