Fates Bound Brainstorm & Notes

Fates Bound
Premise: Once there existed a force for good in the world that was so powerful that even in death, its spirit did not pass on; instead, it found itself becoming bound to a certain young hero of magic. Who knows what could happen next?
Required Inclusions:
- Harry’s moral alignment must be Light (Good), while his ethical alignment can actually be either Lawful or Neutral at the author’s discretion.
- The divine spirit which binds itself to Harry must view their bond as a means by which to gain a second chance at life.
- Harry must release a powerful Divine Aura whenever he accesses this spirit’s full divine powers, which will naturally lead to his discovery by other supernatural entities.
- Harry and the Divine Spirit who has bonded itself to him must relate to each other in an equal partnership, meaning that the Spirit must be willing to share control of Harry’s body with him.
- Over time, the deity must teach Harry how to use the full extent of his own innate abilities, including but not limited to Parselmagic and Wandless Magic.
- The divine spirit must either bond with Harry after his encounter with Voldemort in the forest, or else “devour” the Horcrux if it bounds with him prior to that point in time.
- Because of Harry’s bond with the spirit, there must be those who find his new powers to be a little bit threatening, especially when considering the specific divine spirit who will bond with him.
- All romantic pairings are permissible for this story, with a high preference for one of those pairings being the Seraphim known as Gabriel.
Preferred Inclusions:
- The divine spirit who bonds with Harry should be none other than the God who was mentioned in the Bible, meaning that Harry is effectively the new King of Heaven.
- Harry should have full access to this Divine Spirit’s powers even without giving over control of his body, but should still release the aforementioned divine aura whenever he uses his powers.
- Harry should create his own Artificial Sacred Gear that takes the form of a set of dragonic gauntlets and grieves, though what this Sacred Gear does is up to the author.
- Harry should possess the ability to grant “Atonement” to Fallen Angels, but this should be a long and relatively drawn out process that could be potentially traumatic for the Fallen.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could rekindle the friendship between Heaven and either Olympus or Asgard, and in doing so, find himself sharing company with either Artemis or Rossweisse.
- Harry could alter the System in such a way that angels are free to pursue romantic relationships, provided that they do so within certain boundaries, such as marriage.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry deciding to rid himself of his divine spirit.
- Harry the Dark Emo Doormat.

Complications
- Alignment: Light Neutral: Harry truly believes that the needs of others outweigh his own, but will judge each individual situation on a case by case basis as to whether the end results or the methods used to reach that destination is more important to maintaining the moral high-ground.
- Fame: Harry is famous within Wizarding Society for the part he played in the defeat of the dark wizard commonly known as Voldemort, and that's all without getting to the fact that he is the reincarnation of arguably the most famous deity in the entire history of the world.
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word of honor, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.

- Alignment: Light Chaos: Artemis is someone who values the lives of other people more than she does her own existence, and is willing to use any means at her disposal in order to safeguard those who have to her for protection.
- Guilt: Once upon a time, Artemis gave her heart to a young hunter known as Orion. Unfortunately, her brother, the god known as Apollo, disapproved of this relationship and tricked Artemis into killing Orion. She has never forgiven herself for this transgression, and it has resulted in people assuming she has taken a vow of eternal virginity, when this is hardly the case.
- Motivation: Thrills: Artemis is such an adrenaline junkie that she might as well be defined as the Goddess of High Octane Adventure rather than the Goddess of the Hunt.
- Power Loss: Artemis can't use her Blinding Beauty aura on someone whom she has fallen in love with.
- Relationships: Artemis is one of Zeus' many illegitimate children, with her nearly identical twin being the aforementioned Olympian god known as Apollo. She is also quite close with her half-sisters, Athena and Persephone.
- Rivalries: Both Hera and Aphrodite love butting heads with Artemis over their respective roles within the Olympian Pantheon, with Hera having successfully beaten Artemis in duels on multiple occasions.
- Significant Others: Artemis has a retinue of warrior nymphs, fallen angels and even angels, who follow her teachings and have sworn an oath of perpetual virginity. These women also suffer an extreme punishment inflicted upon them by their magic if they ever break their vow, which is something that has always troubled Artemis as she can't actually do anything to prevent this punishment.

Complications
- Alignment: Balanced Neutral: Raynare will usually allow the circumstances of her situation decide whether her own needs are more important than those of another person, and judge whether the ends or the means are more important to seeing her goals met on a similar case-by-case criteria.
- Demeaning Perception: Raynare is fully aware of how beautiful she is, and isn't afraid to use her beauty to her advantage. Unfortunately, she's not really supposed to be doing that anymore given that she's trying to regain her "Pure-Angel" credentials. Naturally, this has caused quite a lot of controversy among the Heavenly Host, as Harry doesn't seem to mind her behavior at all.
- Enemies: Hyoudou Issei absolutely despises Raynare, and would openly attack her if not for Asia's constant presence by the reforming Fallen Angel's side whenever the two are forced to interact with one another. She's also on the outs with her former allies within the Grigori Faction due to her inability to keep a low profile.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Raynare's snarky and remarkably rude exterior conceals a terrified little girl who ran away from home at an incredibly young age and who would like nothing better than to rekindle the loving relationship with her father that she lost when that happened.
- Oops, I Opened My Mouth: Raynare told Issei that he should "blame the God who gave [him] the Sacred Gear" just before shoving a Spear of Light through the young man's chest, and in doing so, managed to turn Issei into Harry's greatest rival.
- Significant Other: Harry has decided that Raynare will act as Asia's personal Guardian Angel as a form of atonement for pretty much everything that she has ever done wrong in her life. Naturally, this will be one of the most dangerous tasks which Raynare has ever been given.

Complications
- Alignment: Light Lawful: Michael's face could probably be used as a visual reference for the Trope known as an All-Loving Hero. He's also even less likely to break one of humanity's laws than Asia is.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Michael wishes to make life better for everyone who inhabits the dimensional nexus commonly known as Draconic Deus, and doesn't care one bit what species his beneficiaries may happen to be.
- Post-Traumatic Stress: Michael's face seems to be frozen into a rictus of perpetual sorrow, which is probably a side effect of having witnessed his father being cut down before his very eyes. It has yet to be seen whether Harry's miraculous existence will ever be capable of healing the trauma that Michael is plagued with.
- Quirk: Michael is more than capable of engaging Azazel in a snark-off competition, he'll just pull it off while maintaining a perfectly calm and composed tone of voice.
- Relationships: Michael is the second oldest angel in the Heavens, with only the Angel of Death preceding him in terms of their respective ages, as she is actually as old as, if not older than, the deity who created both the angels and the Heavens in which they live. He is also one of Harry's many children by way of a deific version of reincarnation.

Rebirthing Brainstorm & Notes

Rebirthing
Premise: There was always more to Harry Potter than anyone knew. There had always been a perfectly valid reason he could escape from Death with his life so many times, and Harry would discover just what that reason actually was as soon as he united three incredibly powerful Wizarding Relics.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must actually be a fusion between his original mortal soul and the soul of the Celtic sea god known as Manannan Mac Lir.
- Manannan must have placed his soul into the cycle of reincarnation at some point after the establishment of the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy as a form of vacation.
- Harry’s true nature must reassert itself shortly after he awakens from his dirt nap after being hit with Voldemort’s killing curse for the second time in his life.
- One of the first powers which returns to the newly awakened deity is Manannan’s role as the Ferryman for the Deceased, with Harry gaining near immediate access to Manannan’s Coracle.
- Harry must decide to travel to the Land of Shadows shortly after defeating Voldemort in order to make a petition for training from the Witch of Dun Scaith. Of course, her help won’t be free.
- Harry and Scathach must eventually make their way to Kuoh Town, since it is this generation’s nexus for supernatural activity.
- The primary romantic pairing for this fic will be between Harry and Scathach, with the probable additional inclusion of Lady Fand, who was Manannan’s original wife.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should execute a restrained and/or defeated Death Eater (or possibly even Voldemort himself) using his personal sword, Fragarach the Retaliator.
- Harry’s reawakening as Manannan Mac Lir should take the Greater Supernatural World by surprise, as his people, the Tuatha de Danann, are known recluses.
- There should be several other women who are interested in Harry aside from just Scathach and Lady Fand due to the fact that Power acts like an Aphrodisiac to supernatural women.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could regale his friends and allies with stories of his more memorable battles/encounters with the two Heavenly Dragons, much to the embarrassment of the dragons in question.
- The Merlin of this world setting could actually be the female version from Fate/Prototype.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry having full access to Manannan’s divine abilities right away.

- Depression: Lady Scáthach suffers from regular bouts of depression due to her longstanding boredom and inability to find an opponent who is truly capable of matching her skill in battle.
- Everyone Magnet: Scáthach is completely oblivious to the fact that she is one of the most attractive women in existence right now. She's so attractive in fact, that Even The Girls Want Her. "Senpai, I know how you feel, but please restrain yourself for now. It's true that her proportions are... just about perfect, but..." ~~ Koneko to Issei.
- Motivation: Thrills: Scáthach seeks excitement and adventure, because such things are the only way she can keep her perpetual boredom at bay.
- Quirk: Lady Scáthach will absolutely refuse to engage someone in a romantic relationship unless they can prove that they are strong enough to defeat her in a duel at least 50% of the time.
- Temper: Don't bring up Scáthach's age if you wish to avoid becoming a humanoid pin cushion! She'll also use Harry's divine name of Manannan Mac Lir whenever she addresses him after he's done something to tick her off.
- Vulnerability: Lady Scáthach basically taught Cú Chulainn everything he knows, and would therefore be capable of defeating any of his reincarnations or descendants in battle... unless of course those reincarnations and descendants decide to pull out a technique that she never taught their progenitor, in which case they might actually win that battle.

Complications
- Bumbling: Despite being a very seductive young woman, Rias is still rather naïve when it comes to legitimate concerns of the heart. This can lead to embarrassing and awkward situations for the young woman.
- Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus: Rias has sort of been toying with the heart of a particularly perverted young man who is in possession of an incredibly powerful Sacred Gear, and has yet to realize just how badly this situation could blow up in her face if she suddenly decides she's no longer interested in him as a romantic partner.
