Complications
- Axe to Grind: Tiamat has been hunting down and eradicating Boosted Gear wielders for many, many years due to her overwhelming desire to reclaim the treasure which Ddraig stole from her prior to being sealed inside the aforementioned Sacred Gear.
- Familiar Spirit: It is technically possible to form a Familiar Bond with Tiamat; however, she's just as likely to kill anyone who approaches her nest as she is to entertain such fanciful notions. With that said, if someone does form a Familiar Bond with Tiamat, then all the normal rules for such bonds will apply.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Tiamat is the Chief Referee for the Rating Game system used by the 72 Pillars of the Underworld, and thus responsible for ensuring that the retirement system is operating at peak efficiency and for making sure that the various combatants follow the rules.
- Relationships: Tiamat is the maternal ancestor of almost every deity in the Mesopotamian Pantheon, with her former mate being the Primordial Deity known as Apsû. This means that their descendants, the Annunaki, are just as much dragon as they are gods.

Complications
- Abstraction: Due to her nature as an Abstract Entity, Ophis's behavior is often molded by mortals' perception of the concepts known as Infinity, Chaos and Nothingness. In other words, she ordinarily lacks both emotions and empathy, and would need to succeed on a DC 28 Will check in order to demonstrate such things.
- Enemies: Ophis has made many enemies over the years since she came to earth; however, none are more dangerous than those individuals she has gathered together under the banner of the Khaos Brigade.
- Motivation: Justice: Ophis wants to remove Great Red from her home within the Dimensional Gap, and is willing to do whatever it takes in order to accomplish this goal.
- Quirk: Ophis' manner of speech is extremely sparse and laconic. She's also brutally honest, to the point where she could unintentionally get her friends arrested while asking for help locating them simply by describing them in as thorough a manner as possible.
- Reputation: Not only is Ophis considered to be the single strongest being on the Top-10 Strongest Beings List, but she is the Leader De Jure of an organization that is chock full of seditionists.
- Weakness: Ophis is Fortitude Disabled when attempting to resist the effects of Samael's poison. However, that poison is still largely ineffective against her, since Samael isn't anywhere close to being as powerful as she is.

Prince of Irkalla Brainstorm & Notes

Prince of Irkalla
Premise: The relationship between Humanity and the Gods had always been complex and fraught with conflicts; but some families were favoured over others by various pantheons. The Peverell family and their descendants were always close to one particular goddess’s heart. For one of them gave Ereshkigal a son that she loved with all her being. His name? Harry Potter, of course!
Required Inclusions:
- Ereshkigal, the Mesopotamian goddess of the Underworld must favour the Peverell family and some of their descendants with her patronage and the occasional boon.
- One day, after finding both James Potter and his wife Lily to her tastes, Ereshkigal must decide to possess Lily’s body, which is what ultimately leads to Harry's conception.
- While she was unable to save James and Lily from their ultimate demise, it was the goddess's direct intervention that saved Harry’s life and disembodied Voldemort.
- Harry's attendance at Hogwarts could send a signal to the assorted Pantheons that they are once more welcome at the school.
- Harry must be capable of changing his eye colour at will, since his naturally red eyes would cause him an untold amount of problems.
- Ereshkigal must make regular visits to the Dursley family in order to ensure her son is well cared for due to the fact that she will be unable to remove him from their care until his majority.
- While Harry is still the one destined to vanquish Voldemort, there is nothing forbidding the young man from seeking the training necessary to survive their final confrontation.
- Harry’s powers, aside from his wizarding magic, should closely mirror the powers of his divine mother, but with the addition of those powers which are typical to psychopomps.
- The author is free to pair Harry with whomever they desire, provided of course that Shidō Irina is included in that romantic coupling.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should favor the spear as his weapon of choice, much like how his mother utilized a spear during the Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia arc of Fate/Grand Order.
- Ereshkigal should draw Harry’s mind into her realm so that she can spend some time with him, and also see to his training as a Sagi-mah (Chief Cup-Bearer; General).
- Ereshkigal should bring Harry with her to the section of the Underworld controlled by the Devils so that they can watch a Rating Game as a mother-son outing.
- Harry should successfully use a Soul Cage as a trap for a rampaging Moony, much to the bemusement of his friends, and the amusement of the fugitive known as Sirius Black.
Optional Inclusions:
- Ereshkigal could use her own body as a teaching apparatus when instructing her son in the ways of pleasuring women. Whether this is a permanent arrangement or not is up to the author.
- Harry could have had an unborn sibling who perished during Voldemort’s attack on the Potters, but who also gained a new life exclusively in Irkalla.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being the vessel for either of the Heavenly Dragons.
- Harry entering a romantic relationship with a male.
- Ereshkigal ignoring the Horcrux in Harry’s scar.

Complications
- Cursed: Varduhi automatically transforms into a ghost whenever she tries to leave the kingdom of Irkalla in the Underworld, and remains a ghost until she returns to the safety of her mother's palace.
- Motivation: Justice: Varduhi was killed by Voldemort while she was still in her mortal mother's womb, and now wishes to aid her brother in claiming vengeance on the Dark Lord since he robbed her of the life she would have otherwise been allowed to live at her brother's side.
- Responsibility: As the Goddess of Ghosts, it is Varduhi's job to welcome the newly deceased citizens of Irkalla and explain to them what they have to look forward to in their new afterlife, while also escorting them to meet with the Annunaki judges will will decide what that afterlife will actually entail.
- Troubled Past: Varduhi would have been born as Harry's little sister, Rose, if her mortal mother managed to survive the tragic night when Voldemort decided to pay his respects to the House of Potter.

Complications
- Accidents: Ereshkigal is an absolutely horrendous cook, and will occasionally create minor Lovecraftian Horrors when trying to make some sort of confectionery delight. Fortunately, her daughter loves these horrors almost as much as she loves Harry's baking!
- Hatred: Ereshkigal harbors a special hatred for the Dark Lord Voldemort, because he is the one scion of House Peverell who was foolish enough to offer his eternal soul as collateral to six different Death Gods while creating the Horcruxes that gave him the mockery of immortality that is Lichdom.
- Motivation: Protector: Ereshkigal is the humanoid embodiment of Irkalla, and she also truly wishes to preserve the lives of as many humans as possible, meaning that she effectively embodies the quote "hic locus est ubi mors gaudet succurrere vitae."
- Relationship: Ereshkigal is the doting mother of Prince Henrik and Princess Varduhi of Irkalla. She is also the mother of the fully matured deities known as Nungal, Namtar and Ninazu.
- Weakness: Ereshkigal is Toughness Impaired when in any location other than Irkalla.
- Yandere: Ereshkigal will become surprisingly vicious towards anyone or anything which threatens her children, but will usually wait for them to call for her assistance before making her displeasure known to their enemies.

Way Beyond Myself Brainstorm & Notes

Way Beyond Myself
Premise: After losing his trial for underage magic, Harry Potter is given an offer he simply couldn’t refuse. This will lead him down a new path in life that will see it becoming much more interesting, with benefits that easily outweigh any detriments that could come his way. After all, he’ll soon have the family he always desired, and the love of many good women!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must lose his trial for underage sorcery, which results in his expulsion from Hogwarts and the immediate destruction of his wand.
- The Vatican must send an envoy to Privet Drive with an offer that Harry would be a fool to refuse after learning of his expulsion from their contacts within the wizarding enclaves.
- The Vatican’s offer must include a condensed version of the training needed to become a Church Exorcist, which means it will be far more difficult than the normal version.
- Harry must defy all expectations by thriving under the pressure created by his condensed course load, quickly becoming one of the best Exorcists in the current generation.
- Harry must also strike up a friendship with his fellow Exorcists, Shidou Irina and Xenovia Quarta, with there even being a possibility for romantic interludes between the three teens.
- The Archangel Michael must be sitting on a Miracle that was given to him by his Divine Father days before he met his demise, one which will transform the recipient into the new God.
- While Michael did an admirable job running the Heavenly System in his Father’s stead, the fact remains that Heaven will need a proper administrator when faced with what is coming.
- Harry must be chosen as the new God during the Peace Summit, not because he is the best suited to the job, but because he is the only option that the Three Factions could agree upon.
- Harry and Gabriel Hornblower should initially have a student-teacher relationship, but that relationship must become a romantic one after Harry becomes the new God.
- Other women are allowed to pursue Harry as a romantic interest, but only if they gain Gabriel’s permission before doing so.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Griselda Quarta should take Harry to a wandmaker that is loosely allied with the Vatican after he joins the Church’s Exorcist school so that they can outfit him with a new magical focus.
- One of the angels who interacts with the Church’s Exorcists should purge the Horcrux from Harry’s scar after sensing the malevolent energy it contains.
- Harry should help Sirius receive the trial he never got after he becomes the new God and figures out how to issue mental suggestions to the mortal population on Earth.
- Harry should specialize in Dual-Wielding, with the Great Seraph working together to prepare a new set of Holy Swords for him after discovering his incompatibility with historical Holy Swords.
- Harry’s first act as the new God should be to issue several Divine Strikes against Voldemort and his most loyal followers, as well as to those locations which conceal a Horcrux.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could be sent to Kuoh Town alongside Irina and Xenovia as a Team Supervisor, and win Rias and Sona’s approval by being perfectly polite and reigning in his colleagues behavior.
- Harry could retrieve the soul of Slytherin’s Basilisk from the afterlife and seal it within a newly created Sacred Gear that he then gives to Daphne or Astoria Greengrass.
- Harry and Michael could have an argument over Harry’s tendency to leave Heaven on a whim.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry expressing the same bias against the other Factions as his teachers at the Vatican.
- Harry’s new guardian(s) going along with Dumbledore’s plans for the Greater Good.
- Harry failing to improve the Heavenly System after becoming the new God.

Legends Never Die v7 Brainstorm & Notes

Legends Never Die
Premise: Once, there existed a force for good that was so powerful it could not be destroyed even by death. Instead, it found itself being flung centuries into the future, where it was forced to bond with a young hero of magic «Godlike Harry»
Required Inclusions:
- All moral and ethical alignments are permissible, however a benevolent Harry is preferable.
- The entity whose spirit bonds with Harry must be none other than Lúgh Lámfada, and Lúgh must regard this bond as a way to gain a second chance at life.
- Harry’s hair must become a sandy-blonde color whenever he accesses Lúgh’s powers, which is indicative of Lúgh’s role as the Celtic God of Light.
- Lúgh and Harry must work together in an equal partnership, since the latter would be cast adrift without Harry there to bind him to the mortal plane.
- Over time, Lúgh must teach Harry to utilize the full extent of their powers, which will include both the divine powers that Lúgh brings to the table, as well as wandless and parsel-magic.
- Lúgh must either destroy or consume the Horcrux which is contained within Harry’s scar, provided of course that their bond takes place prior to Harry’s final encounter with Voldemort.
- Because of how strong Lúgh was in life, there will be those who find Harry’s new powers to be somewhat intimidating, if not outright threatening.
- All romantic pairings are permissible for this story, except for those involving other males.
Preferred Inclusions:
- This story should be a crossover with the universe of High School DxD, with Harry making his way over to Kuoh Town shortly after the death of his godfather, or the defeat of Voldemort.
- Harry should be capable of tapping into Lúgh’s powers on his own, instead of relying on Lúgh to provide him with those powers of his own volition. His skill level is negotiable.
- Lúgh’s spirit should manifest in the form of a massive sword, similarly to how a Sacred Gear functions, giving Harry the ability to engage in melee combat.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry could somehow manage to transcend his mortal birth and become a demigod, or even possibly a deity, in his own right.
- Harry’s bond with Lúgh could act as a wake-up call for the surviving members of the Tuatha.

Complications
- Fame: Harry is famous within magical society for the part he played in vanquishing the dark wizard who styled himself as "Lord Voldemort."
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word of honor, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Impulsive: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.
- Motivation: Protector: Harry is highly motivated to use his powers to protect others. He willingly puts himself at risk to defend innocents and those he cares about.
- Obvious Powers: Harry's hair will shift to a sandy blonde color whenever he activates an Instant, Concentration or Sustained power with the Divine or Radiant descriptor, and remain that color until the conclusion of that particular combat encounter.
- Power Loss: Harry's spells lose two ranks of Effect when incanted in Latin instead of Parseltongue, effectively making them Impaired when cast using the method prescribed by the British Ministry for Magic. Furthermore, Parseltongue can't be used to empower Luminous Magic or the Unforgivable Curses.
- Relationships: Harry retains a strong loyalty to past friends, such as Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood. He is also the godfather of Theodore 'Teddy' Lupin and as such, is on call in case Teddy's grandmother needs him for any reason.

And now, after posting that, it occurs to me that giving Harry a Zanpakuto in a DxD setting is a bit... tacky?
