Concordia Parvae Res Crescunt
Premise: Harry Potter decides to leave Wizarding Britain after the defeat of Voldemort so that he might experience at least some of the joys of childhood he never found while living in England. Over the course of his journey, he becomes the new Doctor Fate and meets a young girl in desperate need of a better father figure.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter’s decision to leave Wizarding Britain to experience what he missed as a child must be one that his closest friends and family fully endorse.
- During his travels, Harry must find and adopt a 10 year old Rachel ‘Raven’ Roth at least 5 years prior to the start of the Young Justice animated TV Series.
- At some point during the course of his journey, Harry must meet and apprentice under Kent Nelson, who ultimately appoints Harry as his chosen successor for the role of Doctor Fate.
- Harry’s status as the Master of Death must be something which allows him to have much greater autonomy, and the ability to retain his memories, while acting as Doctor Fate.
- The events depicted in the YJ episode “Denial” must either be invalidated, or else altered, to account for the fact that Harry is the new Doctor Fate instead of Zatara.
- Harry must begin the story as a loose ally of the Justice League who may actually be reluctant to outright join in on their heroic activities due to his prior experience with that sort of lifestyle.
Preferred Inclusions:
- The author is encouraged to have Raven eventually join the YJ Team or the Outsiders.
- The author is encouraged to pair Harry with one or more of the following: Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Karen Starr, Gabrielle Delacour, Daphne Greengrass, or Susan Bones.
- Harry and Batman should possess a mildly antagonistic relationship due to a difference of opinion on what qualifies as an acceptable starting age for heroic sidekicks.
- Harry being particularly reluctant to allow Raven to join YJ, if that is the team she wants to join.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry’s reason for leaving Wizarding Britain might have been inspired by a posthumous letter he received from Dumbledore that urged him to go on such a journey.
- The author is encouraged to give Harry a resistance to Starrophytes and Starro Tech.

- Fame: Harry has become quite famous within Wizarding Britain for the part he played in the final defeat of the Dark Lord Voldemort, and also for all the effort he went to in order to keep his fellow students at Hogwarts safe during the years that he was a student of the school.
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Responsibility: As Doctor Fate, Harry must maintain the balance between Order and Chaos, keeping level the scales of fate. If Chaos becomes dominant all will dissolve into endless turmoil. If Order becomes dominant then existence will freeze into stasis.
- Significant Other: Harry is the foster father of the half-demon child known as Rachel Roth.
- Worthiness: The Helmet of Fate imparts immense knowledge of magic to whoever wears it... If it finds them worthy to use it's immense powers. Those who it doesn't find worthy could potentially be subjected to an attack by any of it's mystical effects.

- Bittersweet Sixteen: There are a lot of advantages to be had for a Half-Demon who has just turned sixteen years old, such as eternal youth and a massive increase in power; however all of these advantages come with one massive drawback in the sense that they become a harbinger of the apocalypse by allowing Trigon a doorway into whichever world they are living on when they turn sixteen.
- Enemies: Because of her heritage and the knowledge she has gained over the years, Rachel is the target of many supernatural forces who wish to use her for their own dark purposes.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Rachel wants to be accepted for who she is, not feared for what her father could unleash upon the world by using her to access it.
- Powerful Empath: Raven’s self-control sometimes slips and she becomes overwhelmed by ambient emotions, suffers pain from very strong feelings around her, or she unwittingly uses her Rend Soul, Induce Emotions & Nightmare Cloak powers on others. She always regrets it when her powers cause innocents undue harm.
- Temper: Raven’s dark nature occasionally threatens to dominate her personality. When giving in to her darker emotions or when overpowered by demonic influence, she becomes the infernal embodiment of Pride and it’s up to her closest friends to bring her back.

The Lost Princess of Tamaran Brainstorm & Notes

The Lost Princess of Tamaran
Premise: What if Starfire had always had another sister? What if that sister was far more benevolent than Blackfire had proven to be? And what if that sister was known to Earth’s magical communities as the ‘Girl Who Lived’?
Required Inclusions:
- Kiera Potter must in reality be none other than Princess Kierand’r Tykayl of Tamaran, the identical twin sister of Princess Koriand’r Tykayl of the same world.
- Kiera must have been adopted by the Potters after some manner of accident occurs which strands her on Earth at an incredibly young age.
- Komand’r must be aware of Kiera’s existence, even if she believes that Kiera died in whatever accident stranded her on Earth, but Kori’s knowledge of Kiera’s existence is optional.
- Either Kiera or Kori must become aware of the other’s existence and seek their twin out at some point during the course of the story, with preference for it being in the first few chapters.
- If it is Kiera who seeks Kori out, then Robin must maintain his generally suspicious and constantly vigilant persona until such time as he is sure of her trustworthiness.
- Kiera must have a moral and ethical alignment that meshes with the Teen Titans.
- Kiera’s romantic pairing is completely up to the author.
Preferred Inclusions:
- It is preferred that both Hermione Granger & Luna Lovegood remain loyal to Kiera in this fic, even if certain other people (i.e. Ron, Ginny, Molly, etc...) decide to betray her trust.
- It is preferred that Luna’s creatures actually be lifeforms which exist on Tamaran, which should naturally lead to an incredibly amusing discussion between her and Hermione.
- It is preferred that Kiera be capable of projecting Starbolts, either because the author is using the same hubris that the Teen Titans animated series used, or because of her magic.
Optional Inclusions:
- Kiera should have access to a Tamaranean Chameleon Amulet, which is a device that would allow her to blend in with the inhabitants of whichever world she happens to find herself on.
- Kiera should still have to deal with the threat posed by Voldemort & the Death Eaters.

- The Trace: Kiera is an underage Witch, which means she cannot use her wand outside of Hogwarts without risk of triggering the Trace, which could potentially see her expelled from the school, her wand snapped and her right to purchase a new wand anywhere in Great Britain revoked. I made it a mental communication effect because there is so much more that goes into Cryptophasia than verbal communication would account for. The term Idioglassia describes a similar concept, but doesn't necessarily involve twins (Parseltongue would fit the latter definition).

- Cultural Awkwardness: Mia is a highly logical person who finds herself living in an incredibly illogical society. This tends to cause her a whole lot of headaches, to say nothing of the culture clash she sometimes causes while trying to champion causes such as House Elf Rights.
- Indecisive: Mia places a lot of trust in authority figures such as Albus Dumbledore, which means she will suffer a -4 penalty to initiative during any combat encounter that occurs while she is actively defying such authority figures.
- Motivation: Protector: Mia feels it is her personal responsibility to protect her friend, Luna Lovegood... she's not quite yet realized that she's fallen in love with the quirky girl.
- Obnoxious: Mia has a tendency to use polysyllabic words that convey an impression of great erudition, and yet, she's not guaranteed to use them properly. She's also read just about every book in the Hogwarts Library, and likes to boast about it!
- The Trace: Mia is an underage Witch, which means she cannot use her wand outside of Hogwarts without risk of triggering the Trace, which could potentially see her expelled from the school, her wand snapped and her right to purchase a new wand anywhere in Great Britain revoked. - Honor: Luna feels that her speech and actions should reflect her soul, and does her utmost best in order to ensure that her words and mannerisms come from within and reveal who she truly is.
- Motivation: Thrills: Luna is a Manic Pixie Dream Girl, who also happens to be a Cloudcuckoolander. Naturally, this means that she lives for the thrills and excitement life has to throw at her.

Complications
- Bane: Kory is allergic to metallic chromium, and when exposed to the substance will manifest symptoms similar to the flu. The only real difference is that when Kory sneezes, she releases starbolt energy instead of nasal mucus!
- Cultural Awkwardness: Kory tends to have a hard time understanding Earth's culture and customs, and is known to make mistakes when interacting with the inhabitants of her new home.
- Motivation: Protector: Kory will do whatever it takes to defend innocent lives, and safeguard her friends, even if that means letting those friends inflict serious harm on her so she doesn't have to hurt them herself.
- Nemesis: Although Kory adores her elder sister, the fact remains that Kom is a 'terrible, terrible person!' and therefore must be 'stopped at all cost before she causes irreparable harm to the people of Tamaran!'

Complications
- Accident: Rachel's powers tend to behave in unpredictable ways whenever she experiences truly powerful emotions. Gamemasters are allowed to treat such occurances as though Raven's powers had gained the Uncontrolled flaw.
- Bittersweet Sixteen: There are a lot of advantages to be had for a Half-Demon who has just turned sixteen years old, such as eternal youth and a massive increase in power; however all of these advantages come with one massive drawback in the sense that they become a harbinger of the apocalypse by allowing Trigon a doorway into whichever world they are living on when they turn sixteen.
- Enemies: Because of her heritage and the knowledge she has gained over the years, Rachel is the target of many supernatural forces who wish to use her for their own dark purposes.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Rachel wants to be accepted for who she is, not feared for what she could one day be forced to unleash upon the world.
- Obsession: Is it an obsession to enjoy waffles "more than life itself"? Because that's how much Raven claims to enjoy said food item. She also seems to feel that waffle ownership is a character quality that evildoers should be truly terrified of.
- Power Loss: Rachel's magic is even more dependent on her ability to recite spell incantations than the magic used by the students and alumni of places such as Hogwarts. As such, she will lose her ability to use her magic if someone successfully gags her. Fortunately, this has no effect on her Empathic powers.
- Powerful Empath: Raven’s self-control sometimes slips and she becomes overwhelmed by ambient emotions, causing her to suffer pain from the strong feelings of those in her immediate surroundings, or to unwittingly use her Empathic Control, Hallucination or Nightmare Cloak powers on others. She always regrets it when her powers cause undue harm to innocent bystanders.
- Temper: Rachel's temper is her greatest weakness, whenever she becomes truly angry, she'll become a demonic manifestation of the Cardinal Sin known as Pride, and it will be up to her friends and loved ones to drag her back from the edge of the abyss.
- Trait of Consequence: Raven is considered to possess the Debilitated condition in regards to the Expertise: Cooking skill, which means she can't use it at all, even though it could normally be used untrained.

- Motivation: Acceptance: Victor wishes to find someone who would be willing to form a romantic bond with him in spite of the fact that he is more machine than man.
- Psychological Trauma: Vic's cybernetics can and will send pain impulses to his brain, which means that he experiences the same amount of trauma anyone else would when someone succeeds in dismembering him. The largest difference is that he can put himself back together after such an experience.
- Weakness: The cybernetic components of Victor's body are essentially a life-support system for what remains of his original flesh and blood body. Which means he would quickly begin dying if something were to cut off the power source of his body's cybernetics.

Oh, and "Von" is a preposition that is added to Germanic names, particularly among the aristocracy, and equates to the word "from", which would mean "Tara von Markov" would translate as "Tara from Markovia"

Family Magic Brainstorm & Notes

Family Magic
Premise: While it is true that Lily Potter’s choice to sacrifice her own life in order to save her son was an ancient and powerful form of magic, an even more ancient and awesome form of magic was at work that night, one which kept Lily from falling entirely off the mortal coil. For you see, Lily was in reality the Sorceress Circe!
Required Inclusions:
- Circe must have been trapped in the form of Lily Potter (née Evans) without her memories, although why this is the case is up to the author.
- Lily’s “death” at Voldemort’s hands must jumpstart Circe’s memories, while allowing the woman to retain her memories of her life as Lily, and allow her to resume living her original life.
- Voldemort’s attempt to kill Lily must have incapacitated Circe for long enough that Harry will have been placed with the Dursley family, although the amount of lapsed time is discretionary.
- Circe must track Harry down after she awakens with both sets of memories and must also retrieve the letter that Dumbledore left for Petunia, though how she reacts is up to the author.
- Circe must ultimately decide to take Harry to her island kingdom, Aeaea, and raise him there; opting to teach him the ways of magic herself rather than sending him to a magical school.
- Harry must eventually be summoned back to Wizarding Britain by an unspecified magical methodology so that he can ultimately deal with the prophecy involving him and Voldemort.
Preferred Inclusions:
- At the very least, Harry should be paired with both Fleur Delacour and Donna Troy.
- Harry having a more heroic disposition, despite his mother’s tendency (or is that former tendency?) to act in a villainous manner.
- Harry joining Young Justice, the Teen Titans.
- Circe pulling her life around and ultimately joining the Justice League.
- Circe and Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) becoming romantically involved with one another.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry either intentionally or accidentally enacts a form of magic that causes his presence to affect girls in the same way a Veela’s presence would affect boys.
- Dumbledore and/or Tom should be powerful enough spellcasters to be threats to the League.
