Cap and Tony have been pretty homoerotic for decades now. It's kinda like Superman and Batman in their shared title.

I don't read any comic stories to read about people fucking. Maybe I'm weird that way.

You can have the establishment of a sexual relationship in the text without the story actually being erotica or pornography, though.

This is veering towards thread derailment territory, so I'll just say this, after which we're going to move on.
I think the point drkrash was making wasn't that he doesn't enjoy stories of heroes engaging in romance or stories that involve sex. He seems to be coming from the view of not being interested in stories where pure sex / fucking is central focus of the story. There is a difference between a fleshed out romance that involves sex and sex for the sake of sex, as would be the case of the Cap/Tony scenario.
I imagine Scots is mostly being glib with a side order of shipping goggles. And there's nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their own preferences as far as which characters pair off, even for flings. There's libraries worth of that kind of fiction on the internet.
Myself, I admittedly get a little eye roll-up whenever I see a strong platonic friendship get presented as anything more than that. I feel that if a character's sexual identity is important to who they are, the a character's heterosexuality is no less important to who they are than another person's bisexuality, homosexuality, pansexuality, asexuality, and whatever other preferences they have. Making a straight character gay (even via a 'gay all along' retcon) should be treated as no better than deciding to make a gay character straight. I also find it diminishes the notion of friendship to put sexual undertones into everything.
Now, let's get back to the Avengers. Taking bets on the first post. Even odds it's either Steve or Jarvis.

Can't be Steve. Gotta do a founding member first. Janet and Pym are out because they were posted a couple months ago. So 1/3 each chance of Hulk, Thor and Iron Man. Personally, I think it's gonna be Tony.

Tony could justify like a half-dozen builds for all the armour variations, though you could say the same for Thor's various alterations and modifications over the years.

Re: Jab’s Builds! (Fantasma! Perun! Bogatyri! Stalin!)
Tony was always weird in that his individual suits of armor are generally considered to be massive upgrades over the previous ones, to the point where if he has to fight a new suit in an old suit, the old suit is at a massive disadvantage. But within the scope of the Marvel Universe, Tony's position never really changes. Ever since his first red and gold suit, he's basically in Ben Grimm's overall power department, but much more versatile, and thus while he can fight guys like Thor and the Hulk in his standard suit, his odds of winning are low. And no matter how many upgrades Tony gets, that's about where he stays.
I don't really mind that tho. Outside of special suits (which rarely work anyway), Tony isn't meant to fight the big boys. Instead, he's more like a Batman who put his time and money into a mobile armored tool box with all the toys he needs to win. He's more about being versatile and clever as opposed to raw power.

Yeah. If Tony really needs the extra raw power, he can just bust out the Hulkbuster suit, though that's only really good for fighting (and losing) to the Hulk.

The [insert]buster armours are all like that. Specifically designed to lose to whatever's the [insert].

I like how the most successful Hulkbuster suit ever was from the movies, largely because it felt more like an actual suit Tony would design that didn't rely solely on brute strength.

Which could be simulated by including Favored Enemy (older model Iron Man suit) among the advantages that the suits give him.

I've not been a fan of the Aaron run. Not since the Extreme Celestials in the first arc.
Overall he's very hit and miss, here he's been miss. Oddly, his Conan though was pretty good.

So weird that Favored Enemy only gives you social bonuses and favored environment gives combat modifiers. Never did get that.
