Jessica reaches up to touch her holy symbol, quickly chanting. As she finishes a warm feeling, like the sun on a spring morning, sweeps over Aldan, Tyragorn and Zasio.

She fumbles with her makes her way over to stand near Tyragorn.

OOC:
Bless - You bless up to three creatures of your choice within range. Whenever a target makes an attack roll or a saving throw before the spell ends, the target can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to the attack roll or saving throw.
Jessica doesn't bless herself. She does bless the two warriors closest to the stairs., and Aldan wins the coin toss for who gets the last spot.

Aldan - You can target one of the lizardman or a space on the floor (Or stairs in this case). Attacking the space on the floor means they might both take damage, but there is a risk of the fire spreading. Hitting one of them will limit the damage to just one of the targets, but there's no risk of the fire spreading.
Since the stairwell is small, and the mage hand gives a lot of control (and options on direction) I'm going to say you can roll your attack roll with advantage. Don't forget bless bonus.
Praise the sun.

Georgia: 25
Aldan: 18
Tyragorn: 14
Zasio: 9
Lizard men: 6

Aldan

"Get ready with waterskins and fire-suppression magic, just in case." Aldan says directing the hand's release. On the stairs try to hit both.
attack: 2#1d20+6 10 9, bless: 1d4 4 though +4 from the bless makes the best a 14

Georgia gives the lizardfolk in front a cheerful little wave as Aldan releases the burning oil flask. "You cold-blooded types don't mind a little heat do you?"

OOC: Vicious Mockery against the Lizardfolk that's further up the stairs. Needs to make a DC14 will save or take 1d4: 4 and have disadvantage on next attack roll.

The lizardmen come stomping up the stairs as the oil flask crashes to the ground and ignites.

The first lizardman lowers it's shield and charges up through the flames to close in on Tyragorn. The second one comes up short when it realizes it won't be able to reach anybody, and hisses, staring at the burning stairs as it reaches for a javelin from the holster on it's back.

OOC:
Since a lot of people are holding their actions I'm going to move the lizardmen early just to keep things going. They'll get their attacks after Tyragorn and Zasio complete their turns.

Aldan hits his target easily (static targets are pretty easy).
Lizardman 1 chooses to run through the fire to get closer to it's targets (M20). Lizardman 2 can't reach a target without standing in the fire and choses to stay back. (M22)
Lizardman 1 goes through the fire taking 5 damage.
Lizardman 1 rolls an 11 vs Vicious Mockery and takes another 4 Damage and will have disadvantage on his next attack.

Will the place catch on fire? A 1 on a 1d4 will result in the fire catching and spreading. I'm rolling this one to keep things, uh, rolling. 4. No fire this round. Maybe next round, then the oil will be out.

Tyragorn and Zasio are up.

Georgia: 25
Aldan: 18
Tyragorn: 14
Zasio: 9
Lizardman 1: 6 (Damage Taken 9)
Lizardman 2: 6

There is a sickening crack as Tyragorn's warhammer crushes the skull of the lead lizardman. It crashes to the floor at your feet, sliding a foot before stopping.

The other lizardman, seeing his partner go down, rushes up the stairs. It pushes through the fire and slams it's club into the Paladin's side, attempting to follow up with a shield bash that goes wide.
OOC:
Well, with the other lizardman now being incredibly dead the path is now open, so the Lizardman at the bottom will move up and attack Tyragorn with a multi-attack!
First attack hits Tyragorn for 7 HP damage, the second attacks misses by a country mile.
I believe we still need an action from Zasio.

Aldan: 18
Tyragorn: 14
Zasio: 9
Lizardman 1: DEAD
Lizardman 2: 6 (5 Damage from running through fire)

Zasio Blackthorn:
Objects of Interest: Goodberries (2 - each heals 4 hp)

Not entirely surprised that the second Lizardman rushed to attack Tyragorn after he soundly defeated the other Lizardman, Zasio moves to take advantage of the creature's vulnerable nature. His short sword was aimed to pierce through the side of the Lizardman.

Attack Roll: _: 1D20+5 = [16]+5 = 21.

Zasio's sword penetrates the hardened scales of the lizardman's side, forcing it to retreat back to avoid what could have been a deadly blow.

It's fringe raises high, and it hisses showing off it's teeth as it brings it's shield and club between it and the deadly ranger.
OOC: Solid hit, but he's not done yet.
It's offically a new round so back to the top of the list with Georgia.

Georgia: 25
Aldan: 18
Tyragorn: 14
Zasio: 9
Lizardman 1: (Still) DEAD
Lizardman 2: 6 (15 Damage total)

Georgia Fiddler
HP 9, AC 15, Inspiration 1

Georgia flings another insult. "Better watch yer scales there, or the boys will have a purse made out of you before you can blink...You lizardfolk do blink right?"

OOC: Vicious Mockery: lizardfolk2 must make a DC14 Wisdom save or take 1d4: 1 and disadvantage on its next attack roll.

Aldan

The elf takes aim while the scaled opponent's attention was on the foes around it. A hit to the shoulder joint of the creature should penetrate deeper, he reasoned - scales and/or armor would be thinner there.
Feel free to assess partial cover for targets in between Aldan and the target. Unless the elevated angle gives him a different line of attack. Partial cover is +2 to target's AC.

The lizardman seems unphased by the insults being hurled it's way as it continued to focus on the two warriors directly in front of him.

He never saw the arrow coming. It hit the caught the lizardman in the bones at the joint but instead of penetrating it deflected down into the fleshy parts of the underarm, and straight through an artery. The lizardman lets out an angry hiss, snapping it's teeth as it slams it's club into Tyragorn's shield, then makes a woozy swing at Zasio before losing it's balance and falling backwards down the stairs, landing on the smoldering oil covered steps and smothering the last of the flames.

Once more silence fills the room
OOC: Unfortunately for Georgia the lizardman actually managed to roll good enough to beat that spell. By one.

And Aldan does just enough damage to kill it.
Lizardmen are down.
Oh, and 1d4 to see if the place catches on fire: 3. No fire, and this is the second round so the oil has burned up and gone out.

Tyragorn
HP: 6 AC:18
Location: M18

"That was a strong blow but it doesn't feel like anything is broken." Tyragorn rubbed his side where the club had hit but thankfully it wasn't an open wound. Cautiously, he peered down into the basement again, wondering if anything else was down there. "Anyone have a light we can bring down there?"

Aldan

Aldan climbs down and retrieves what arrows he can from the goblins and lizardman. He'll wipe them of blood and reseat them in his quiver.

"I'll just go to the bottom of the stairs and take a look." he says treading carefully down the stairs and letting his natural star sight adjust.

Georgia Fiddler

Georgia makes sure any flames are well and truly out, applying a little prestidigitation to extinguish any lingering embers that could flair up.

Georgia pulls out a candle from her pack. "Will this do?"

Tyragorn

Tyragorn wasn't comfortable with Aldan going down alone. Especially since he wasn't at all sure how well the elf could see in the dark. He shrugged at the candle. "That might be good for you but not anyone going with you. We could light a torch but that seems wasteful." He took a couple of steps down the stairs so he could support his companion if needed.

"Take care Aldan, we don't know what those creatures might have been doing down there."
