I hope it didn't confuse anybody during the chase scene.

I am going to recommend against splitting the team.

You are a horrible person. Why would you present RPers with two sets of tasks and then recommend against splitting the party OOC? … he said in a teasing tone of text.

I'm not suggesting that Kit and whomever goes with him do a dungeon raid. Confirmation of the base location, an idea of potential security in the area/ at the front door, and whether they seem to be starting to leave because of Luna Moth finding them is the information I'm hoping for. Mainly that second part. Would it be better to ask that law enforcement keep an eye on the area but not move in until the Guardians can scout it out?

You can definitely request the PD secure the area and setup a perimeter. As long as they aren't waiting hours for you to come, it's a reasonable request.

Shadow is somewhat common in Freedom City but they have no experience with them here. It's not something they want to jump into but will if there are no other options.

Fortunately, you are another option.

Would it be best for me to edit my post with that and your GM warning in mind? Alternatively one of the other PCs could suggest that the PD keep eyes on the Shadow base while the Guardians focus on the fire first.

I honestly missed the meaning behind your post. I actually thought you intended Kit to be scouting around the fire, perhaps looking for injured people or where the fire has spread/how close to the chemicals. It was Kruez's post that made me realize what you were saying.

However, you would prefer to handle it. Skyguard can change his mind and have Kit do something else or you can edit it.

I went ahead and edited my post. The last couple paragraphs of dialog received the changes. Apologies to Kreuzritter for making Juno's response seem out of sorts now.

If Taheka is still Fatigued, Sky Guard can use his Luck Control to counter the condition.

Sorry for being unclear, I need to know who is focusing on which mission. I know some of them were indicated but perception checks don't work as well in a compressed time. A perception check in the first room only tells you is someone is in the first room you enter. Searching to find people hidden or trapped takes rounds and rounds, it would take hours to search the whole building effectively and a little luck.

So, is it still round based ie each PC gets a standard and move, they get resolved, then go again?

Essentially, it will be fast forward to each of you reaching the specific mission you are following.

Depending on the mission and PC, it may go round-by-round from there.

Is there more than one floor to the building and if so, what kind of top floor access is there for us to enter from/is it obviously going to be an issue getting inside?

Its just a couple of floors and you can get roof access easily enough.

I've been a bit backed up with some work. I'll think over Kits possible actions and try to get something up tonight probably going the save the firecrew route since teleportation makes that infinitely easier provided Kit doesn't get too affected by the flames+chemicals.
