Skyguard

You swoop in and hit the Shadow pilot hard and then control the descent enough to keep the cycle from crashing.
Shadow TOU save: 1d20+5 23
Good roll but only a 20 would have passed.

HP: 2

"Copy," Angela said in response to Sky Guard's radio message. She had been online, researching the mercenaries that attacked them a week ago without result, when the call came. She looked around the empty flat. Bryan was out on... some business or the other, he didn't say. Bryan had been uncharacteristically cold and brusque towards her since the day of the press conference.

At first, she thought he was shy, given the very R-rated conversation they had on radio. Nothing a few cold showers wouldn't fix, she thought mischievously.

When a few days passed without change, she thought he was clueless. After all, this dumbass, regressive society's idea of feminism was to oppress, mock, humiliate, shame and label as 'hypersexualized' and 'objectified' any female character who did not dress the way it liked, while expecting men to be emotionally stunted and neglecting to educate them on how to express the completely natural and healthy emotion of desire in a non-threatening and respectful way, so it was just normal that Bryan had the hots for her and no idea how to deal with it. So she thought.

A few more days passed, making a week, and now she was pissed off. He was ignoring her, and that hurt her. Nobody hurt her and got away with it.

Never go out fighting crime without telling me, he had told her. We're partners. It's my job to look over you. His voice had always been in her ear during her stint as a fledgling hero so far, a constant companion in her battles.

Her eyes fell on the lithium flower he gave her, ensconced in its glass case and argon atmosphere, and the anger flared even more. She was no man's toy. Not even Bryan's.

She fired her grappling line and swung out of the window.

... and arrives on scene to see the three SHADOW skycycles veering off in different directions.

"Hiyaa!!" she yells, flinging herself at the closest unengaged one in an attempt to replicate Juno's maneuver to grab the cycle and bring it down in a somewhat controlled way.
OOC

The same action as Juno: grab the 3rd out of control cycle (Juno and Sky Guard got the other 2) and attempt to catch one of the cycles like Juno did.

Attack: 1d20+10: 19 [1d20=9]
Str: 1d20+10: 17 [1d20=7]

If the attack hits but Str fails I will reroll the str check.
Str reroll: 1d20+10: 26 [1d20=16]

You are able to bring the second errant flying cycle down to the ground safely without additional damage.
Ysariel, you can opt to keep the HP and roll a TOU save vs DC20, like Kreuz did.

Angela gets an HP for stopping the cycle from doing additional damage.

Luna Moth

Luna Moth glances back and sees the number of pursuers has dropped significantly. She aims a fist at one of the two remaining Shadow agents in pursuit and a stream of goop comes flying out towards one of them.

In what is an incredible display of skill (or luck), he does a barrel roll and completely avoids the spray which hits the side of a building and hardens almost immediately.

Luna Moth then makes a tight turn around a building and flies down towards the ground.

Shadow Agent Dodge Save: 1d20+5 25

Luna Moth Flight check to Escape: 1d20+7 27
If Arca-Knight does not use a move action to chase her, then she will escape.

Things had been going better for Miranda than she would have thought. The news reports still cast her in a negative light but seeing a positive online response helped rein in the anxiety that she was failing at being a hero as Arca-Knight. Still she was doing her best to be a diligent hero, which was why she'd been following Luna Moth's recent actions quite closely. Arca-Knight had not encountered the attention grabbing new super on the street just yet but she'd been keeping appraised of her antics.

Today Miranda had been taking some time to relax and de-stress by scouring the local bookstore for more additions to her ever-growing hoard of books. When she got Skyguard's message Miranda quickly ducked away and Arca-Knight rushed to the scene.

Seeing that her teammates were dealing with the debris and SHADOW agents, Arca-Knight decided to pursue the escaping Luna Moth. Its difficult since Arca-Knight's flight spell doesn't have the same kind of speed as Luna Moth but for now Arca-knight just needs to keep her quarry in sight.

"Ma'am, I'm going to have to ask you to pull over." Arca-knight focuses her magic, six glowing arms appear around her and reach out to try and ensnare Luna Moth.

OOC: Movement check (flight): 1d20+6: 22
Arms of Asura: move object +10 (extra: damaging +1): Attempting to Grab Luna Moth 1d20+10: 14 DC 20 to resist if that hits.

Arca-Knight

The young criminal zips in and around several cars making it hard for Arca-Knight to track her but she is able to keep her close enough in view.

The glowing arms do not have as good of luck and fail to grab her.
With your check, Luna Moth scores 2 success towards escape.

The 14 misses her.

Shadow Agents

One of the remaining Shadow agents continues after Luna Moth, firing the mounted blaster at her, but he has even less luck than Arca-Knight. His blast misses by a few dozen yards, striking harmlessly against the concrete median.

The second Shadow agent sees the large number of heroes present and realizes they have little chance of victory. So we works to create a distraction by firing his blaster at a glass building causing glass shards to rain down towards some unsuspecting lookie-loos.
Shadow Agent attacking Luna Moth: 1d20+5 9
Big time miss.

And eveyone gets an HP for the setback of the glass and civilians. It will strike the civilians at the beginning of Shadow's turn.

Back to the top of the order with Kit up. There is one last out of control cycle that will crash at the beginning of Taheka's turn.

Kit Ferryman
HP: 1
Cnd: Fine

Kit as all smiles as the team did another good job, for the most part, of helping the city. A few were a bit rough around the edges, but who wasn't really. There was just the matter of that pesky final out of control cycle. All of his work trying to get the city on the teams side despite the bad press would come to naught if they made a mess of things. Still struggling under the strain of his previous attempt, Kit tosses a portal in the path of the out of control bike hoping to redirect it to somewhere safe like a vacant lot or open area.
Completely missed that I was up. I have a few calls tonight, but didn't want to block whoever is next.

Tamati "Taheka" Stevens
HP: 1 > 2 > 1 LP: 1
Condition: Fatigued

Trying not to cheer out loud at the sight of his fellow Guardians removing the hazards of the falling skybikes, Taheka realised that Luna Moth and the remaining Shadow agents were out of his reach and that there was no way he could catch them on foot.

"Wait a minute did that guy just shoot a building, what he wanted to injury bystanders .. that is low even for Shadow were the thoughts that ran through Taheka's head as he pushed his body to the limit trying to save the people in danger.

His arms started to shimmer then stretched out longer and longer, as though his body was elastic or perhaps made out of water, towards the people in danger from the falling glass. With a semi-audible groan Taheka wrapped his arms around as many people as he could reach then pulled them back towards him and hopefully out of harms way.
OOC wrote: Taheka will use the elongation feature of his watery body to stretch his arms round as many of the civilians as possible and then pull them to safety. With elongation 5 his arms should be able to reach 250 feet in length hopefully long enough to reach and grab them.

I will also use a HP to give a boost to Taheka's strength so that he could move them with his arms.

Taheka

Your arms reach out and rescue the half dozen or so people and pull them safely out of the way.
Bumping your strength to 4 gives you about 800 lbs, so I will rule that is enough to rescue all of the citizens in danger.

Sky Guard
HP: 3
Cnd: Healthy
Favored Environment: Defense Shifted

Once the air vehicle was landed Sky Guard launches off of it, his big white wings beating vigorously. Keeping at street level initially he intercepted Angela as she finished catching an errant vehicle of her own. His left arm extended to her, hand open for her to grasp hold of as he went by.

"Care for a lift?"

After offering her the opportunity for a ride into the air Sky Guard gave a swift downbeat of his wings and angled into an ascent. As long as Angela was along for the trip, he intended to ferry her over to one of the remaining criminals, allowing her to drop off onto them from above. After bombing the villian with an android payload he veered off and dove down at the second Shadow Agent. Building up speed he quickly flipped around at the last second and aimed his feet for the pilot's side, swinging his wing upward in twin crescent arcs, and fell into his target like a living spear. Then after the impact he bounced off and sprung skyward, flapping his wings to gain and maintain height advantage on the scene.
OOC wrote:Athletics: 1d20+12 22 to increase Flight Speed by +1.

Move Action: Pick up Angela and fly her over to one of the Sky Cycles so she can drop onto it to attack the pilot. Then fly over to the second Sky Cycle (Move-by Action).

Standard Action: Attack the Shadow Agent. Power Attack -4 Atk/+4 Dmg. Take 10, for a total of 19 to hit. DC 26 Tough.

Someone else gets to try to keep the Sky Cycle from crashing this time.

Skyguard

After playing taxi service, you slam into the agent knocking him clean out.

He slumps down, still strapped on to his cycle and it begins spiraling down towards the ground.
He can't pass that save and is out.
