Tamati "Taheka" Stevens
HP: 3 LP: 1
Condition: Normal

Flowing across the room Taheka slammed an oversized watery fist into the body of one of the Shadow guards with a friendly "Kia Ora mate, fancy meeting you down here."

Reaching the far wall Taheka spun round ready for action.
OOC wrote: Use Move by Action to move to the far side of the room and taking 10 to punch a nearby guard as he crosses the room.

Using "Water Punch" Taheka will take 10 for a +20 to hit and DC25 Toughness Save.

Taheka

Your watery fist strikes him like a golf club and sends him hard into the wall.

Arca-Knight
HP: 3
Condition: Normal

As the SHADOW agents laid down fire, Arca-Knight raised her hands calling up a barrage of glowing energy bolts. They hover around her for a moment before streaking out to return the favor.

OOC: Magic Missile Massacre Maelstrom: Damage +10 (extras: area +1, range +1)
I'm not quite sure how many of them I can hit with this at once.

Arca Knight

Your missiles slam into most of the remaining agents and leave them only a few agents conscious.

Sky Guard
HP: 5
Cnd: Healthy
Favored Environment: Inactive

Ven ducked, juked, and wove to avoid the barrage of weapons fire. All while continuing to run forwards. Blitzing for one of the guards towards the front of their formation, at least what remained of it after the Guardian's initial salvo of attacks, Sky Guard lunges the last couple of feet and threw a flying punch aimed at the Shadow Guard's jaw.
OOC wrote:Sky Guard is going to take use Power Attack -4/+4 and take 10 on attacking one of the minions. That's a result of 19 and DC 26 Tough.

He only has Takedown 2 while flying, so no follow ups.

Your attack knocks the agent out cold.
Impossible to pass that roll, so he is out.

"Begone!" the Nazi villain shouts as he swings haphazardly which you easily dodge.

Angela
HP: 3

Angela nods at Sky Guard. Robots could not be expected to be experts at technology any more than the average person on the street could be expected to be an expert at biology and medicine. But as Doc Otaku's favored creation, Angela had been made to inherit all his geeky interests, from electronics engineering to string theory, model robot kits to video games, tentacle hentai to yaoi porn--

Following behind Juno, she blinks. Waitaminute. Doc Otaku was into yaoi porn? Somehow, that struck her as unlikely. But before Angela could dwell any longer on the issue they burst into a villain's lair straight out of a retro, 50's-era science fiction movie set. And at the heart of it, the towering villain that her sensors identified as...

"Overshadow, was it? You don't seem very bright. Pun intended," Angela quips, and joins Juno in holding off Overshadow himself. She leaps into action, fiber-optic hair trailing behind her. Bullets rattle and spark on the concrete around her feet and thud harmlessly against her android frame, before the somersaults into the air to bring her right heel crashing down onto Overshadow's chest plate in a devastating kick.

Using the force of impact, she backflips off Overshadow to land on the ground. Kit, Taheka, Arca-Knight and Sky Guard are busy taking out the SHADOW guards efficiently. Angela's threat-assessment sensors calculate a 89% chance that the Guardians have enough force to overcome opposition here based on available information. What was the serpent's head doing here, surrounded by so few guards? Would he actually fight to the bitter end? "I don't believe this guy is the real thing," Angela says to her teammates.

OOC
I'm very sorry for the absence. I have come down with an infection since late Januray, the gross details of which I'll spare you, but it makes it painful for me to sit for long periods and takes a lot of the fun out of posting. I have finished a course of antibiotics and am still improving but very slowly. Admittedly I have also been struggling to be more active in my own game and this has diverted my creative energies elsewhere too. I will try to be more active and check for updates more regularly.

The SHADOW agent's attack of 17 misses Angela

Angela moves into close range of Overshadow and uses an unarmed attack on him (array still set to OMG, so she has Str 10)

GCG Angela Unarmed attack vs Overshshadow: 1D20+10 = [17]+10 = 27

Your blow also bounces off the powerful figure with no effect.

"You send your women to fight. You must be truly pathetic."

Kit Ferryman
HP: 3
Cnd: Fine

Angela had a point. It didn't change the fact there was someone saying he's the Overshadow who is tough as nails with three muppets remaining intent on doing the group and city harm. "Real or not, after what he said I am guessing he picked a fight with the wrong woman.", says Kit acting with more bravado than was likely appropriate here. "We could always shoot first and ask questions if he's still alive.", adds Kit as he forms several small portal like disks in his hand and tosses them at the Overshadow with the intent to surround him and trap him in a forever portal loop.
Portal Trap: Affliction 10(dazed, stunned, incapacitated; Dodge Save then Will; Extras: Ranged +1/rank, Cumulative +1/rank, Accurate 2 +2/flat, Indirect 4 +4/flat)
24 to hit Overshadow.
If it hits initial save is DC20 dodge for the condition.

Tamati "Taheka" Stevens
HP: 3 LP: 1
Condition: Normal

"Keep it up team" Taheka yells encouragement "It looks like he was wobbling after those last blows"

As he finished speaking Taheka delivered a watery uppercut to another one of the remaining guards. They probably wouldn't be much of a nuisance if the Guardians focused all their attention on Overshadow but still if they landed a lucky shot.

Better to get rid of them first and then Overshadow.
