She was just right beside him and over heard him. The telepathy crack was me being a wiseacre. I honestly didn't mean anything by it. 🥵

If you notice, in the IC post, I didn't mention her using her mind reading. Sorry for the confusion.

So, was Alice right about the calibration test angle? It was a guess on my part backed up by the popular culture rolls.

Worth a spoiler alert... I am giving away the big reveal of the book in my last post...

I am currently in a tense situation at work, and I'm also in tech week for a show I'm in. I was hopeful that I'd be able to get posts in this week, after the anniversary trip I took over the weekend, but life is not cooperating. I'm hoping things normalize by the upcoming weekend. If nothing else, we'll have opened the show. Sorry.

Hey, no need to apologize, these things tend to be outside one's control . I only wish for things to even out for you before things get really crazy.

What the Doc said. RL can be a real pain sometimes... believe me... I know.

Given who Alice works for, it could just as well be one or more of the Endless shoving her in the direction they want her to go. Since she doesn't do subtle well, they gotta be a bit blatent.😁

So, is Smith actually waiting until police are in the room and asking about the gun right in front of them? Not before? Not waiting until later?

Really?

We are standing apart. He's not dumb. He's not shouting the question. The intention was to quietly ask. I'll clarify that in my post.

Perhaps we have different interpretations in our imagining of what being apart from them meant?
