"We have no idea if those papers we signed are worth the ink they're written with." Breach says. "Or he's working both sides and the place knows we're coming. How much do you think we should distrust him? Can you send any spirits to observe him?"

Vincent shakes his head. "If I had access to my third eye while he was with us, I could've tagged one of them on him without trouble. Until they reached the end of my soul-chain that is. I could in theory try and locate him now, but there's too wide of an area for me to look, if he's even still within the city.

"Regarding how much we should distrust the man... I'd say about as far as she could through him. He finishes, pointing his thumb at their bulky alien companion.

Apologies, I had this open to respond and seem to have assumed I did and then never got back to it...

"Well, standing here isn't getting us anywhere. Let's head to the place. You can run some spirit recon once we find a good place out of the way to observe the place." Breach says.

Vincent nods. "There's a chance they have a wizard on their crew backing them up, and while mine is a rare talent, I'd put more faith in one of those seeing spirits then them having a true-born medium. Either way, roaming spirits are nothing new. They're certainly a safer option then anything else. Well, besides your eye perhaps."

"Well, let's get there and figure out a plan as we get there," Breach says. "I have every confidence I could get in and out one my own. But that's not really what we need to do. On my usual jobs, I scope the place for weeks before I go in. So I have no idea how to just wing. Especially with a crew I barely know."

A smile comes to Vincent's face. "What, do you think I just send in my ghosts on a whim? My preferred method involves a lot of preparation and waiting as well. Rush jobs hardly ever end well. Which, of course, bodes well for us now dosn't it?"

He sighs, then goes to mentally consider how far away the casino is from their location, and what their method of transportation should be.

OOC: Not sure if you want a check for that, as I'm mostly asking you the GM for that information.

Both of you know from your previous sorts through the documents given to you, that the Spade Casino is about six miles to the north. The area is a dilapidated office area. Most of the land the casino is in and a good deal of the surrounding area is owned by a series of shell companies. The police are certain they are all owned by whomever runs the casino, but there is no evidence of identities. At this time of day (approaching 6 to 7PM with about another hour of daylight) it would take you about thirty minutes to get there by car.

"We should probably catch a ride to the neighborhood. Somewhere at least four block away from the casino is probably good. Can you higher a car?" Breach says to Vincent.

"Seems to be my signature move. Let's get dropped somewhere outside the intimidate area, draw less attention to ourselves that way." Vincent declares, before locating the nearest payphone and making the arrangements.

A quick google search shows that there aren't many nearby hotels or motels. You manage to find a bed and breakfast within two blocks of the place and a motel five blocks away. There are several neighborhoods with houses nearby, but whether they are empty or what the neighbors are like is unclear from a basic search.

"Motel sounds good as long as we keep a low profile." Breach suggests.

He nods and finishes telling the Taxi service the details.

The sun is getting ready to set on the first day as you enter the parking lot of the Warton motel. Online reviews of this place includes "This place feels like a concentration camp", "The bed bugs actually bite here", and "The staff may be necromancers. Nothing else explains why no one has died yet from the falling decor." It has three stars out of five.

The motel itself has a sign with several letters out, spelling 'Wart el'. The front doesn't have a check in foyer and instead has a pane of what you can assume is bullet proof glass. [OOC: A quick check with Breach's eyes say it's not.] Scylla and Massari hang back and wait while you two situate the rooms. The clerk is reading a newspaper and doesn't look at you two as you walk up.

"Look. I don't rent rooms by the hour. If you want a place for your friend to service you your going to have to pay for the whole night."
