Suppose this stuff happens, but it's super unfortunate. I'll get a post out shortly.

Been some time, is that a name we should recognize?

That's the detective. And presumably we all kind of assumed he lies. But hearing this from the spirit will reaffirm Breach's belief that we will get screwed by the detective at some point.

There were three major points of information given. One will require an intelligence check for memory (background character with a bad description).

Intelect: 24

Oh yeah. It's big brain time.

To be clear: the intelligence check is specifically for Breach. She is the only person who could pick up the information from your description of one of Opal's interrogators. (I am assuming you give an accurate description of events. However if we use that intelligence check as a proxy for that, I figure I could give a +2 circumstance bonus for Breach.)

Not a great roll, even with the +2: Intellect check: 1d20+7+2 15

Things Breach should already know about Lana Flemming:
  • Her nickname is Wither
  • She has very similar powers to Breach, thanks to having nanites similar to hers
  • Difference: She has hearing augmentations and instead of eyes. Her specialty is reading people and their emotions. She is a human lie detector.
  • Difference: Instead of giving off a nerve paralytic, she gives off a hemmoragic poison. This has the effect of weakening a person's ability to resist her attacks.
  • The two of you are rivals and differ in methods of action. Lana Believes that people are the weakest link and doesn't understand your trust in technological subterfuge.
  • Both of you grew up in the same foster homes, and the same criminal organizations. Lana, at least, wants to prove she is the best. She believes she has proven that in your last encounter.

I only gave a rough working of the character traits I imagined from her description. The rest is up to her.

Questions I have:
  • Where did you meet?
  • Were you friends initially?
  • Did she make her own nanites or did she (as I imagine) steal them from you?

I didn't realize we waiting for me.

Lana and Gemma were best buds and both went to The Exchange for upgrades. Afterward, to pay for the nanite upgrade, they did harsh jobs for The Exchange. Gemma paid her debts and left. Lana said she was staying. Gemma realized they no longer agreed on what was in and out of bounds when it came to crime.

I misunderstood the premise initially. I didn't expect Breach to be in prison at the start of the game. You just sprang that on us. But given that it happened. Yeah, Lana is why she's in jail.

Well I needed a way to motivate four criminals to infiltrate an illegal casino :)

I was trying to find something longer that was clever. I was amused when I realized how great a place to stop that was. Short and sweet.
