I am waiting to find out whether Lady Elizabeth is doing Lethal or non-lethal. That doesn't stop you from having your action though as you go before the fife midget anyway.

I prefer dice rolls, but it isn't that big a preference- whatever keeps the story flowing best.

Lady Elizabeth is not hated. She is just not understood. So far yourr character has had a patron and an exemplary education. One military victorian officer is confused by the anomoly that you represent and has no experience with how to deal witb a woman like you. Hatred seems a harsh description.

Not that I need to defend his actions...
Well... I should apparently pay attention to the OOC more often. I understood immediately what was going on and was okay with it. (I added sexism as a complication after all.) I am sorry if I somehow caused any strife. Also, I can see that my checks were not always using the correct skills (though this usually didn't matter, as the skills usually had the same value). Whoops. I work as a teacher and sometimes find myself checking the one thread, and only that thread. Not an excuse, I know, but I will try to improve in the future.

Um... I am not bothered. We are in an environment where people cannot express emotion easily. Also everybody is different about where there comfort zone is. Some people are more sensitive to prejudice than others, perceived or otherwise. In a Victorian style campaign there are going to be some Victorian values displayed.

I was going to ask how obvious was it under the armor that Elizabeth was in bad shape? She was Stunned, Disabled, and Staggered, but shouldn't have needed stabilization from Dying.

His awesome healing roll cured her entirely anyway.

I thought it only removed the worst damage condition, as he doesn't have the total healing extra.

2E dmg is much much worse than 3E

RECOVERY
With rest, characters can make Constitution checks (DC 10) to recover
from their damage conditions. The frequency of the checks is based on
the severity of the condition. The Regeneration power speeds up a character’s
recovery checks.
BRUISED
Once per minute of rest (10 rounds), characters can make a Constitution
check (DC 10). If successful, they erase one bruised condition. If the check
fails, the character can make another in one minute, with a +1 bonus for
each failed check. All characters recover at least one bruised condition per
10 minutes. Injured characters must recover from all injuries before they
recover from being bruised.
STAGGERED
Once per hour of rest, characters can make a Constitution check (DC
10). If successful, they erase the Staggered damage box. If the check fails,
the character can make another in one hour, with a +1 bonus for each
failed check. Disabled characters must recover all their disabled boxes
before they can recover from being staggered.
UNCONSCIOUS
Once per minute, characters can make a Constitution check (DC 10).
If successful, they erase the Unconscious damage box. If the check fails,
the character can make another in one minute, with a +1 bonus for each
failed check. Dying characters must first stabilize before they can recover
from unconsciousness.
INJURED
Once per hour of rest, characters can make a Constitution check (DC
10). If successful, they erase one injured condition. If the check fails, the
character can make another in one hour, with a +1 bonus for each failed
check. All characters recover at least one injured condition per 10 hours.
DISABLED
Once per day of rest, characters can make a Constitution check (DC
10). If successful, they erase the disabled damage box. If the check fails,
the character can make another in one day, with a +1 bonus for each
failed check.

So, Elizabeth failed by 10 so Stunned + Staggered + Disabled, Stunned goes away in a round, Meriweather Healed Disabled, leaving only staggered. Which will take an hour of rest.
