Iolas

Iolas was minful of his opponents. While he was clearly out of their league, as one of his teachers once said, even a clumsy oaf can get lucky with an attack. The two men lunged. One was so clumsy of an attack it was almost too easy to avoid. The other was a bit better and could have actually hit if not for some fancy footwork at the last second.

Disarm attempt on the thug that nearly hit him (the one that got a 20 on the attack). 1d20+8: 16 [1d20=8] https://orokos.com/roll/816249

The elf avoids the spray. Reflex save: 1d20+7 22
The hobgoblin/redcap is alert to you now. Reflex: 1d20+4 24

The elf gestures around him and mutters something. Eldritch magic surges through your equipment.
Nullify technology: 1d20+5 22 Make an opposed roll either willpower or your technology rank, whichever is higher. If you fail, any technological items stop working.

The humans whistle stops working. He looks at it in alarm then starts running toward the ship.

Iolas, make an opposed damage roll vs the thugs strength. Resist disarm: 1d20+1 20
(do you have a high speed disarm?)

Also, the leader attempts to shoot youAttack: 1d20+5 20 if that hits make a dc 18 toughness save.
His men are slightly taken aback by the shot. Consuder them fighting defensively this round. You can see more of his men ciming towards the fray.

Victor, you hear a shot as well.

The hobgoblin is shouting at the elf as he tries to get at you Elizabeth, bloodlust raging in his eye. "let me get her."

[If they made the checks then they still make DC 12 Will saves unless both have Evasion.]
Iggy's gear was all hardened against failure or interference.

Victor Grey
HP: 1
CND: Fine

The fighting sounded like it was picking up, and was more then a drunken disagreement between deckhands.

Without changing his stride, Victor whispered an incantation and vanished in a burst of black mist, reappearing 120 ft from where he started, then repeated the spell to rapidly close the distance between himself and the disturbance that had cut his business short tonight.

Condition: Strength -6, Bruise 1

If you want me that badly, then you can have me." Elizabeth closed distance with the hobgoblin and drove her fist into him.

The elf seems to ignore the effects of the chemical. Will: 1d20+4 17
The hobgoblin seems irrationally focused on Elizabeth and resistant to your chemical concoctionWill: 1d20+6 24

Elizabeth, as you step out to launch your punches, the hobgoblin who had been waiting to hit you [delaying an action] swings his club at you. Attack: 1d20+4 23 DC 22 toughness save. Then you can make an attack.

The elf turns and runs, dodging to make it harder to hit him, at an inhuman speed.

Victor you are at the gates to the dock. An elf is brandishing a sword against 2 thugs while another man is readying to shoot him again. 4 more rufgians are heading toward the fray. An armoured person has just been hit by a very big goblin with a club. A small figure in some sort of shimmering contraption is hovering above a dissipating field of spectral arms. A human and an elf are running towards a ship. The elf is incredibly fast.

Everybody can make a notice roll. Iggy you are at +2 due to your elevation. Everyone else is at - 2.

Victor, you can also make an arcane knowedge roll if you have it.

Victor took in the curious scene before him. Definitely not your usual dock gang.

”What’s all this then?” he muttered to himself

Oh, did the human work himself free from the tangle effect?
Where do they look to be running to?

Requested notice: Notice: 1d20+9+2 23
The elf was running, and not in the harried, panicked way that his nuerogenic compound sometimes caused.

Iggy's sharp goblin ears picked up the muttered question from the new arrival.

"We are agents of the Queen kept from our duly appointed duties by the murderous Redcap down there, and those two." he gestures first at the hobgoblin-looking thing, then at the speedy elf and running human. "I wouldn't request this of a civilian, but if you choose to assist I deputize you to do so. Non-lethal tactics would make for easier paperwork."

[Toughness Resistance check: 28]

Elizabeth's armour gave a dull clang as his club smacked her. Whatever dent he made did not stop her fist from reaching her quarry.

[Previous Attack roll: Machinegun punches - power attack +3 -3: 18; On hit DC 21 autofire]

Elizabeth, if your toughness is +10 does that mean your defence is +1?
Your fists hammer into the hobgoblin. Toughness: 1d20+4 7 Your unexpected resistance to his arrack and powerful retaliation leave him gasping and dazed (staggered and stunned).

You also notice a group of men cometely ignoring tbe fight and making tbeir way on to the smaller ship. Seems odd.

@Iggy I had forgotten you had glued him as well. What strength is your snare?

You also see a group of men heading toward the ship.

What you don't see is where the shot that hits you by surprise comes from. Attack: 1d20+12 18 You are caught flat footed so you lose your dodge bonus to defence (ooc can you move any direction apart from up and down) . If that hits
and bullets can actually hurt you make a dc 2o toughness save.

Iggy is hit soundly by the attack. It spins him in the air like a carnival game.
[Snare is DC15
Toughness: 1d20+5 13, assuming lethal, 1 bruised 1 injured, and... dazed(?)
if needed: Concentration: 1d20+9 25, though since the active powers are continuous I probably don't need it.

Ooc-no your active powers are fine Iggy.
@Elizabeth. From memory he remains stunned until your next action but first a shot hits you in the helmet Elizabeth. Attack: 1d20+7 27 That is a DC 26 toughness save.

Everybody heard the crack of the shots. Feel free to make a listen check to tell where it came from. Iggy has been hit and is hanging in mid-air like a pinata.

Victor and Iolas you can both act.
