"Yeah, different 'dead things' have different ways of being killed. Going in without proper information will get us killed." she smiled a little at the vampire, not in the least bit discomfited by his appearance. After all, the worst monsters usually had a pleasant face and smile for you in her experience. Right before they did something horrifying to you. "No loss for you, but it would be rather unpleasant for us. I personally would rather avoid that at the moment."

Can they affect more than one person at a time? What happens to the person whose soul is eaten? Are they vulnerable while they are 'eating'?"
