The image seems to be a meme involving a persian cat with long beige fur, save for splots of white at the top, and a note of it's similarities to coffee. Upon a successful trigger Smith would feel a compilation to bemoan online on how he could really go for some good coffee right now.

"Keep an eye on his page, we'll know we've struck the mark if he gets the post out within an hour."

DC 22 Will, continuous, progressive + triggered (ten times)... And of course contagious. If the post gets made, coffee shops are going to have a slight uptick in business today.

While the post Mike sends out in the late afternoon before the big visit to the rig, there is no response immediately. It isn't until a few hours later around 10 PM or so of the oil rig when a shared message board for oil rig works has a post describing a delicious latte from a local cafe in New Orleans.

"You may not like to hear it Kaito, however it appears we are reaching the limits of what digital investigation may reveal to us. You've gotten us a good start, but it is time to progress to physical avenues."

A light pat is given to the young man's shoulders. Garald had watched as Kaito and Mike setup the digital-mind trap for Roger. But he wasn't going to wait several hours for it to take effect. They needed to be conservative with their time usage, as there would be a delay between the death of Mike present body and the insinuation into his next. Pacing away a few steps he turned to pace the others about a meter from them.

"Leon Cole, Mary Lou, and Roger Smith. We can approach their families with Mike taking point. Our questions can be asked, the personal spaces of these people can be inspected for clues, and if we wish to Mike can no doubt easily have the people escorted to a place for holding without any violence."

Garald gestured to Mike when he talked about the creature wearing a man's face. Then he dropped his hand, like lowering an executioner's axe.

"Or I can go by myself if the two of you are disinclined towards this course of action. But I would not be nearly as subtle or peaceable."

"Hey, if I'm coming along, less chance for things to turn out messy. Let's avoid Smith's for now, I don't want to have to deal with a 'situation' right when I'm waking up tomorrow."

"Why?" Kaito asks. "Shouldn't we wait to see if Mike's powers work? It seems like a risk to expose ourselves since your face and powers are so well known and my powerset is easily identified. And if you're talking about 'disappearing' people that seems like such a risk just before an operation. If anyone's missed, if red flags are raised, that could compromise everything."

There is a moment of still silence from Garald when Mike proposes staying clear of Smith and his family. After thinking on the matter he eventually nods to indicate his ascent on the topic. Then 'why' was asked Garald turned his eyes to Kaito. Maintaining an even timber the Russian began to explain, not as one might argue a point, but rather as to show his line of thinking and process for planning. It was … instructional.

"We have a narrow window of time to make preparations and gather information. The amount of time Mike will be active before the mission starts is even less. Waiting potentially hours is not something I am willing to do when time is so restricted and our information is so lacking. We could end up waiting to a point where Mike's transfer becomes no longer worth enacting. It is already late in the day as it is."

"Beyond time as an issue, there is no guarantee that Mr. Smith knows anything of value. The woman who had the Dove item didn't know her family heirloom was supernatural in nature. We should not rely so heavily on Mr. Smith."

When Kaito brought up the topic of identifying aspects of their person Garald went on, to show this was something he had considered as well, and spoke to alleviate the concerns that had been voiced.

"I do not expect anything supernatural to be necessary for gathering information and investigating scenes. Our faces, likewise, can be disguised to a degree if you are concerned. As for kidnapping … once Mike speaks with these people he will have hooks in them that he can pull when we need them to be pulled. They can be told to go to an isolated location of our choosing where a gun is waiting for them, or a person with a gun and communication device who can send proof for extortion."

"You have to know that's going to get the attention of the God Squad." Kaito tsks. "And Mike's powers haven't actually been iron clad over time and distance. Their disappearance can raise alarms which could put the business meeting and rig on high alert."

He grimaced, "They were- before those bastards got a hold of the cross. Hell, give them an excuse to come then. We can steal the artifact back for ourselves. I want them to stop messing with my damn control!"

A nod was given after Mike's comment about a direct confrontation with the opposition being advantageous for their group.

"Our foes are not all knowing and all seeing. Still ... if they were to find out before the meeting and engage us, good. We've proven to have the upper hand in direct conflict. It is only their trickery that allowed them to succeed last time. If they divert some of their people away from the oil rig to deal with hostage rescue while we are on mission at the rig, that is also good. Less will confront us on the battlefield where and when it matters."

Kaito clearly doesn't like it but purses his lips and turns back to his tablet.

He'd help of course but he didn't have to like it.

The Cognagion stares at Kaito through Mike's eyes a moment or two longer, before allowing the body's shoulders to decompress with a sigh. "Fine, before we absolutely go through with it, what were you thinking of doing while we waited? We don't have much time left on the table."

[Flynnarrel]

"Whole days go by without us doing anything and all of a sudden every minute needs to be planned out? Jeez. I'll help or whatever, Okay?" the Japanese-American teen says. "I don't have to think it's right. You shouldn't mess with someone's family."

Garald waits patiently for Mike's attempt to hear Kaito out to get buffed by the upset teenager. Without acknowledging the episode Garald resumes organizing the outing, briskly now.

"Our first stop will be Mary Lou's household then. Kaito, be prepared the prevent calls from leaving the area. We don't want anymore live streams of us, unless they are on our terms."

Turning his tablet around he shows the others a screen with pictures of Mary Lou's family, as a reminder of who they were.

"We'll leave in fifteen minutes. Make any preparations and gather any supplies that you need."

He waits a beat to give there other two a chance to chime in, then sets his tablet down and exits the room at a quick walk. Off in a less public room Garald gathered some supplies that he had at one point requested that Kaito purchase with his money gained from manipulating the market. It included makeup and various hair related effects.

After looking at himself in a mirror Garald applied a base layer of makeup over his to change his apparent skin tone to a more tanned shade. Then he added in some shadowing details to alter the perceived shape and angle of his facial features. Following that he added some extensions to his hair, lengthening it by a couple inches. Finally he glues a short mustache and beard to his face. All of the happened at an incredible speed.

After finishing he regarded himself in the mirror one last time, then prepared to meet up with the others for their teleportation to a new city.

Garald is going to take the time (with Quickness 12) to Disguise himself. Here is a roll, in case you would like me to make the Deception check:

If Kaito wants a Disguise, Garald can make an effort to set him up with one, since moving at inhuman speeds he'll have plenty of time left after his own Disguise attempt.

Kaito will get information on the target's home address. He'll keep checking Smith's social media (in vain) for a mention of coffee or java or mocha or any of the other 'coffee' related words. Maybe if he could prove Mike's powers work on Smith they'd leave families out of it. (A vain hope, we know). He just hoped this didn't signal some sort of 'go ahead' for the other guys to go after HIS family, well mother, really, they could have his father.

He sets up a cell jammer, ready to activate after they teleport.
