The female gargoyle hrmed as she looked at the emerging pattern. "If I'd guess, they'd be underground with the empty building as a facade." she said finally. "It'd be easier to move around and stay out of sight. Especially if you are doing something illegal." she looked at Dina. "Is there anyway to check?" she asked.

Cassielle is having trouble following what's happening. Anyone can tell this by the way she staying quiet. She was like this most of the first day the gargoyles were awake. Names are flying around and she isn't sure she know any of them at all or not.

It had been a hybrid residential/ commercial building. Apartments along the top level, businesses below. Restaurant, Convenience Store, Dry-Cleaner... that sort of thing...

Izzy thinks for a moment. "Have her cover her ears initially, you all might want to do the same." Izzy says raising his flute and warming the reed. "When the music starts she may be able to get closer to this thing without it reacting for good or bad. It'll get her a better look at least."

He plays loud enough that the sound penetrates through the water barrier. The enchanted music lures the listener to giving it their full attention.

Ariel resists the initial draw of the music by extending her tail, bending it forward and wrapping it several times around her head, pinning her ears closed. She maneuvers, still stealthily, to get a better view.

At first, the winged... creature... is likely too far out of range for the flute to be able to reach its ears. But, a moment before Izzy begins to play, it seems to spot the watery scrying shield. Likely, any attempts to scry or view the area via CCTV would dismiss the dome as interference of the like, but to actual eyes it appears odd. The being swoops down, and right into the effect of Izzy's charming music.

It alters it's flight path to perch on a ledge just outside the doom, fascinated and looking at the dome as if its the most interesting thing in the world without trying to really understand what its looking at.

Ariel gets a clear look. Well, as clear as the ragged clothes will allow. The being looks human-ish. A hood obscures the face, but the eyes are visible through slits and are wide and almost innocent. The wings are like those of a Shortling Gargoyle - like Lexington - in that they appear to extend under the arms and are attached to the arm. The cartilage extends into one of the fingers and beyond to complete the wing, likely making manual dexterity a challenge. Finally, Ariel notes that the being does not wear shoes, instead more rags are tied around its feet to afford some protection to the soft skin beneath.

Dina was focused on his work, putting together the bits and pieces, chasing his natural curiosity to an unhealthy degree and was increasingly less aware of the world around him as swam in the endless seas of information and putting the pieces together.

Of course, it might have helped him more to be aware of of the warning from his clan mate.
... only to find himself drawn into the beauty of his clanmates compelling song. His finger (and toe) tips ceasing their endless patter.

Ariel maneuvers to get a good measure of the thing's scent. Does it match anything she's smelled before? Does it match a gargoyle-ish scent?

Min will describe what Ariel sees.

It smells human with a definite animal musk in the grime and dirt that likely covers it under the rags.

"Right then." The gar-girl pops out of the shielded area and makes her way to the Ariel and the not-gargoyle she was sniffing out. She approaches the two, making herself as non-threatening as possible.
