Never saw it but I've heard good things about it.

Sounds like Lan has had travels with Jarrak, and is lunch friends with Kiara. She's been around so others may have seen her (and vice versa) but no close ties otherwise.

If you're saying just to limit who we know to 2 or 3 people then it would make sense to me that Abigail would know Jarrak (savior and 'Uncle'), Anne (good friend, frequent hangouts), and Tiberium (worked with in the past, contracted as researcher and translator).

That would work for Abigail, but I was just saying that the members of the party did not need to know everyone. PCs choice.

I'm fine with that idea myself. Tiberium having known Abigail as stated, known jarack (perhaps even having met the half-elf while he was still a boy), and having encountered Jack when one of his trinkets were stolen. Everything else could be more tangential.

Really excited to get things started!

Do we have a good guess on when the game will begin?

I'm on the last day of my work shift today, I'm getting a new furnace installed (along with installing central air) tomorrow. So my electricity isn't reliable until Friday, so that's my goal starting point.

WebDM must know that we were about to start up a game. They did a video about the Fey Wild today. :)

Sorry for the delay in starting the game, I got a nasty cold yesterday and have spent the interim time recovering. I'll have the IC thread going later tonight.

Hopefully you're feeling better, man.
Really not a fun time to get a cold, everybody starts looking at you sideways ;~)
Or maybe that's just happening to me...

No, it's not just you. Though at this point I'm feeling much better now, but given my employer's stance on fevers I won't be going to work tomorrow (aka later today technically).

Do we all know eachother, what's our reasoning for traveling here?

id ask a similar question Kirara at least at the start isn't likely to leave the city with out a contract. barring Lam having run into braille and convinced him to let her drag Kiara along on some damned fool adventure
Dr. Silverback has wryly observed that this is like trying to teach lolcats about Shakespeare

Almost every character had a reason for traveling.

Lan's could be that she was delivering a package, maybe with Jarrak as guide, Anne and Abigail are told to get practical experience by their respective organizations, as friends they could be traveling together and joined her Uncle Jarrak as a way to start. Jack can be told to go anywhere by his Archfey patron. Old Tully is trying to 'find himself' and hired/travels with the famous Undermountain Half-elf, Jarrak, then ended up befriending everyone like the good-natured old Grandpa he is. Kiara has to work out with Braille why she was sent here or it could be that she's just accompanying her friend Lan, and the man she's heard so many (Gertrude-related) stories about.
