Maybe someone could point out where I'm going wrong?

If it was my error in creation, is it okay to keep Persuasion Tman?

Thank you all!

Edit: Or I guess that charlatan works as well, if not better than entertainer?
If I recall correctly Persuasion is not actually a warlock skill that they can take at level 1, If you want persuasion at that level it has to come from your background (with DM permission you can always do a custom background if none of the pre-made ones have the skills that fit your character.) or Racial bonus.

Jack is a Half-Elf so he should have an extra two skills of your choice from Skill Versatility.

In addition there's an Eldritch invocation (which you get two of at level 2) that grants proficiency for Persuasion and Deception called Beguiling Influence.

Sorry for being not so active this last week, I'm in the middle of changing employers. I have 1 day left at my current, then a day off then start my new job on Wensday. So hopefully my ability to post will greatly improve.

Oh that sounds wonderful. I know that you've been really struggling with the Amazon warehouse job. I hope that this new one will work out well for you!

Thank you stavaros! It really seems odd that persuasion isn't on the warlock list. After all, how are you supposed to be the seductive type if you don't have it?

Yeah it does. It's a full time fork lift operator job, loading & unloading trucks all day. LOADS less physical than my current job (and the round robin of jobs I currently perform. Seriously I can do completely different jobs every day of my work week and have no clue which one I'm doing until I check in with floor bosses).

I feel your pain. Due to my job I'm often at the whims of happenstance as to what my day will entail. It's really just a question of who's going to break what... and which team is going to decide it's not their problem and drop it on me! ;~)

Congrats on the new job, man!
Hopefully it's going to be way better than that last one.

So... how's the new job going? Have you made any new friends? Do you like your new boss?

(What other parental questions can I ask?)

So far it's been nothing but filling out paperwork & watching instructional videos & taking tests on them. But the trainer & other guy in my class are cool.

I did take my forklift certification today (And passed) so I got to drive on the floor some today (It's like driving on a highway full of forklifts, crazy).

Next Monday I start my job officially. So we'll see how that goes.

I'm trying to imagine the goblin language having a word for 'disproportionately'? :)

It is worthwhile to note that at this point, none of them are actually dead.. they're just dying.

I thought about the disproportionately thing as I was typing it. It was fun to imagine!

If there was a suitable word, she's geeky enough to know it!

And Jarrak's rolls are such that he doesn't even need the Bardic Inspiration! Awesome!
