Pardon me, I do beleive you are correct.Flynnarrel wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 5:11 pm I read the description of the glyph of Link - 'Copies the Power's effect to be given to an ally...' - as the person receiving the Link didn't have to roll Cunning again to use it. In the example the Wielder is imbue both their and an allies weapon with Breaching. Even in the second example, 'giving an ally an Explosive dart to sling', wasn't 'letting an ally try to form a dart of their own...' It seemed to imply it just happened but Is this one of those things GMs interpret or is this clarified by the developers anywhere? I'll go with whatever your ruling is.

How do people use Lloyd's magic exactly, then?
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

If he casts the spell and links it, he picks an ally in range and they direct the dart from their position. No roll needed.

Does that mean it happens at his location and thiers, or just their location?

I think it essentially twins the spell (based off the book's Breaching example). Lloyd would get a dart to direct AND the ally would get a dart to direct. I think.

It sounds like it's best handled as a case by case thing, going by whatever makes sense.Flynnarrel wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 9:26 pm I think it essentially twins the spell (based off the book's Breaching example). Lloyd would get a dart to direct AND the ally would get a dart to direct. I think.
For Lloyd's spell, it makes sense that he just give an ally a dart to toss, or if he's not using dart, just puts the patch of grass right at their feet.
If it were a Fire Imbured dart though, Lloy'd cunning check would be applied to both darts, just the second dart would original from his ally when THEY unleash it.
Enchantments are eqasier, he simply enchants both weapons simultaneously.

While it takes an action to send out the Dart it shouldn't take a Token. It's a 0AT to cast the spell so it should also be 0AT to direct a Linked Dart spell.
I'll add a spell effect to Roll20. Let me know if it's what Sashura meant.

Adjusted my post, Vivid mention I can only take one free action per turn. Hopefully she can hold off without needing to down a serum for now...

Yeah, "free action" is one of my (very few) nitpicks with the game. It's not exactly free if you only get 1. I'd have called them Minor and Major actions, but it's a really really minor thing.Doctor Malsyn wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 1:03 am Adjusted my post, Vivid mention I can only take one free action per turn. I meant to post last night, but crashed instead. Retail work in a mall right now is an absolute joke.
Anyways, Moira once again displays why exactly firearms are so bloody expensive to maintain, and absolutely worth the cost. Even with the defend roll (which was not admitedly all that high) and piercing damage resistance, she still blows through the crocs, one shot, one kill.
And yes, the interruption resulting in the croc not moving out of the redius of the bomb which then results in it getting exploded, interrupting the akuma, was entirely meant for comedic effect.

Oh lord. This isn't something the Order expected anyone of her level to deal with.

Re: Tales from the Trails (Soulbound) - (Full)
I had some very lucky shots. Thank you for letting Moira switch shots even though I called them for 1 target. The first shot was 10 successes with 2 elemental, the second was 9 with 1 elemental (I assume Furious doesn't benefit from Firearm advantage).
Okay so 3d6: _: 3D6 = [3, 4, 6] = 13
1 success

Vivid. Vivid please. Have Moira help Ericka encourage the deadly magical abomination that maybe it shouldn't turn us into lawn ornaments.
