I'm good to go. Sorry I've been distant. Still working on the work issue. Should have some kind of answer Friday.
Re: Waterdeep: Dragon Heist! (5th ed)- OOC
Going in for tests Saturday morning, hope to find out what's making me so exhausted all the time.
I hope to update things tomorrow.

As a general question- this adventure has room for a ton of extra side quests. Some of them look to be pretty fun. Do you have any preferences one way or another?

Side quests are fine. But this particular one is the kind of thing Delphne wouldn't even notice. She only stopped walking because she noticed the others weren't walking with her. She's like "Oh, the guard blocked off a street. Not my problem unless I need to get through the street." I noticed on my sheet I had my alignment wrong. Delphne is definitely Chaotic Good.
Re: Waterdeep: Dragon Heist! (5th ed)- OOC
The big thing that Delphne would notice in all of this is that the gang war between the Zhentarim and the Xanathar Guild is pickign up and getting more dangerous.

Generally, if someone is potentially in danger Marissa probably wouldn't veer off to clean out giant rats in the baker's cellar* (unless they had a clear plan to continue the investigation and were prevented from immediate action for some reason).

I personally don't mind sidequest's, so long as they let you get back to main quest.
Re: Waterdeep: Dragon Heist! (5th ed)- OOC
Since we don't know where Floon is, he could conceivably be among these corpses right?
Re: Waterdeep: Dragon Heist! (5th ed)- OOC
Marigold would have to ask(pulling the Family card) as this Guardswoman doesn't like me any...

Re: Waterdeep: Dragon Heist! (5th ed)- OOC
That would be a very weird coincidence. Guy's missing for 3 days and we find him in a street massacre minutes after taking the job?
Not saying it's impossible. But Delphne wouldn't believe that's possible if someone in the group said. "What if Floon is there?"
Edit: I knew I should have read the IC before posting this.

Re: Waterdeep: Dragon Heist! (5th ed)- OOC
I'm fine with side quests as well, as long as they make sense. Marigold's logic in at least making sure none of the men involved here are the guy we're looking for is perfectly sound. I don't think we need to get any more involved in this than that. None of us are involved with the Zhentarim or the Xanathar Guild, so we have no real reason to involve ourselves in their gang wars, on an individual or group level.
