Steadfast (Assault Team)
HP: 1; Initiative: 20

Michelle broke into a beaming impish smile. "You said a word, a real word, all by yourself! Such a clever fishy! I'll just have to applaud..." The air around her, underneath her, shimmered and danced, and she swirled higher into the sky.

In a heartbeat she was fifty feet up, directly over King Shark's head. Twisting just a bit, she clapped, as promised- and the air pulsed with tremendous force, vibrating with telekinetic energy.

>OOC: Move, well under the allotment for Flight 5- 50 feet above King Shark's head. Using the Shockwave feat of her Superstrength in a downward cone, making sure to avoid teammates (though I don't think any are close enough to matter)- no particular care to spare the pier or extraneous material. Base Damage is +10 (so Toughness DC 25); he can make a DC 20 Reflex to halve that (in that case, +5, so DC 20).

King Shark seems to have taken notes of the battlefield, even the flyers. He obviously didn't know what Steadfast was going to up there, but in a quick moment of what some would call 'bracing for impact', he howled or roared. Whatever loud noises landsharks are prone to make when weathering hits from heroes that hit way above his weight class. It does seem to bother him!

The Thunderer
Condition: 1 Injury Normal HP: 1

The Thunderer shrugs off the lack of response, and tosses the minion he had under his arm off to the side towards the other minion who'd bee trying to ambush him.

With a joyous yell the Son of Storms charges forward sweeping a heavy right cross at the crocodile man's jaw.

OOC
Releasing the guy in a grapple with the Thunderer. Move action to get close to Killer Croc and giving him a melee attack.

Croc, seemingly being a person of few words, was not amused by the 'Baron of Battle'. Lording over him in an antagonistic way, Croc's haughty demeanor is laid low by one large bow. Reeling back he screamed in anger. Catching himself He barely shakes off the rock of a punch... and then falls over. Knocked out. One punch.

Thunderer, however, notes that hitting this reptile beastman is like hitting a wall, or whatever he thinks is hard enough to resist the monster blow he just dished out.

That was failing by 10 and rolling a one. That was super failure. Enjoy your moment of victory. Heck, get a post in.

Then it's Dr Impossible's turn.

Alexa Flemming "Lookout" Team Infiltration
Active Effects: Trying to trace the mind control
HP: 1, Condition: Normal

"Let's dance!" She says standing up. She grabs Talia's hand. "You love to dance, right?" She looks at Ashleigh. "You, too. You love to dance don't you? Hear that music. Can't sit still with a beat like that. Let's go." She heads out onto the dance floor in search of the mind control source. She dances like she's had a few drinks.

Ashleigh X smiles, confused, as if subconiously looking for orders. Alexa notes she's not actively doing so, just that there's a bit of disconnect between thought and action. "Sure babe, but whe-," Ashleigh say a bit delirious. Alexa senses something trying to connect to Ashleigh's mental signature, and it does! Sloppily so. Causing her friend to stop in the middle of her sentence. Ashleigh follows her, semi-obediently.

The Thunderer
Condition: 1 Injury Normal HP: 1

When his fist hits with a mighty crack he paused and with a look of surprise he shook out his hand to ease the pain.

"Sensational! Your jaw is harder than Oblalyax the Mythril's armor," He laughed cheerfully, "You are truly a worthy foe crocodile man! Our fight shall be sung of for years to come!"

His smile slips when he notices that Killer Croc is still on the ground, and he quietly asks, "Crocodile man?"

"... Crocodile man?"

He coughs, looking a little sheepish as he realizes what's happened, "Ah."

INFILTRATION TEAM

Mental senses are hard to explain, but Alexa was more apt than most. There was a direction. She sensed it on Ashleigh X's mind. It jutted out of the building, at least. So whoever was doing it was close, but not immediately so.

Talia, though jostled, her robotic senses noted some guards moving around. They weren't headed towards them, but they were mobilizing.

Salvo noticed there wasn't an immediate response but from his vantage point, maybe things weren't going so well.

Xenos

There was something going on here. Something wrong. The warm air felt a little too heady. Xenos felt like she wanted to stay here for longer she needed to be. Stay. Stay. S T A Y

Salvo Hp 3
"Meni tse treba yak zuby v dupi" mutters Leon to himself.
He knew it was a bad idea but something was wrong. Time to go clubbing he thought to himself. He had even brought his own clubs. He strolled casually towards the entrance, trying to contact the others again as he did so.

ASSAULT TEAM

Shark wasn't meant to fly. But being harried by three heroes who did so wasn't easy. Fire. Loud. Whatever that thing the rocket man was shooting at him. It felt weird and improbable as it hit him. Like it shouldn't exist in this state of being. Humans could keep their calculations. He just wanted to get these people off the pier.

The Impossible Energy rattled in his head for a moment, but he heard a sharp reprimand from his employer. "Stop faffing about, I don't pay you to sit around and think about doing your job!"
Miracle wrote:Toughness: 1d20+13 16 Failed by 7. That means he's bruised and stunned.

Giving the team a 1 HP to share. Since this kinda screws with all of you. Not stunned. But that's two bruises so far. The first he will heal 4 rounds from now as it's his turn.
A quick shake of his head and a little bit of wobbly running got him to a large box full of who-knows-what. The taunting flyers wouldn't come to him? He'd bring them down! A mighty heft at Flamebird. The crate flew with such velocity that it sailed passed her like some kind of lobbed baseball. Never underestimate the strength of an enraged shark man. Do underestimate his aim though.

At Thunderer's feet. Killer Croc grumbles lucidly.

Alexa Flemming "Lookout" Team Infiltration
Active Effects: Mind Reading, Area Blast, centered on herself, just looking for surface animosity.
HP: 1, Condition: Normal

Over comms, Alexa whispers, "I'm about to do something that might cause a ruckus, is everyone nearby? Talia and I are in the bar on the beach and it is very weird here. Those outside, be on the west side of the building as I'm going to try leaving even though I don't think they want us to leave."
