Re: Team Cerberus (aka Suicide Squad In Freedom City)
I wonder how many villian would groan if, when said villian had their collar explode, mine would comment "I told him not to loose his head over the bomb collars, but you can see how that worked out for him"
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

Guess it depends on if he can actually successfully get the collars off in the first place. Despite GeoTek's power and skill set, I doubt TM would allow it to be *that* simple, y'know?
Re: Team Cerberus (aka Suicide Squad In Freedom City)
Or not, since this is actually what GeoTek is looking for. He wants to earn a pardon and not escape from jail.EpicEclipse wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 12:14 am Guess it depends on if he can actually successfully get the collars off in the first place. Technically, having her head blown off won’t actually kill Madame Curare.

At the very least, they have 24 hours to collect her body. Assuming they don't know to put the bomb near her heart.Batgirl III wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 12:23 am Technically, having her head blown off won’t actually kill Madame Curare.

Re: Team Cerberus (aka Suicide Squad In Freedom City)
We’re also assuming it’s a bomb. There are more creative ways to incapacitate (possibly permanently) someone in the Freedom City universe.
Like Superman said, in a world of jet-powered apes and time-travel, the death penalty is often no obstacle to some of the threats that superheroes have to face.

Pffff- everyone knows the collars are just a decoy. Haven't you seen 'Escape from New York'- the REAL bombs are implanted.
Oops, I said too much, didn't I?

If someone told Clayton they were just a fancy fitbit, I'm sure he'd believe it. "Why would they put bombs on poeple working for them? That's just bad, watchamacallit, HR."
Re: Team Cerberus (aka Suicide Squad In Freedom City)
Who say's it HAS to be a bomb? There's tons of chemical's in the human body that,if another certain chemical was injected, could completely degrade the body in a matter of seconds, leaving no trace. If the govt happens to have a way to stall/remove said chemical after we "do or duty".......pathfinderq1 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 12:35 am Pffff- everyone knows the collars are just a decoy. In snowblinds case the chemical would have to be an industrial sized dose of Ant-Freeze

The trick with Cat's would be making it impervious to malfunction. She's practically a walking Murphy's Law.

Does not having some kind of chain to yank on make things harder for Tman?

No worries on exactly how the powers that be are going to implement "obedience" from the group.
I've already thought of that .
