- Fame: Harry has become quite famous within Wizarding Britain for the part he played in the final defeat of the Dark Lord Voldemort, and also for all the effort he went to in order to keep his fellow students at Hogwarts safe during the years that he was a student of the school.
- Honor: Harry will always keep his word, strives to uphold the common good, and is never underhanded in his dealings.
- Motivation: Responsibility: As Doctor Fate, Harry must maintain the balance between Order and Chaos, keeping level the scales of fate. If Chaos becomes dominant all will dissolve into endless turmoil. If Order becomes dominant then existence will freeze into stasis.
- Significant Other: Harry is the foster father of the half-demon child known as Rachel Roth.
- Worthiness: The Helmet of Fate imparts immense knowledge of magic to whoever wears it... If it finds them worthy to use it's immense powers. Those who it doesn't find worthy could potentially be subjected to an attack by any of it's mystical effects.

Complications
- Enemies: Because of her heritage and the knowledge she has gained over the years, Rachel is the target of many supernatural forces who wish to use her for their own dark purposes.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Rachel wants to be accepted for who she is, not feared for what her father could unleash upon the world by using her to access it.
- Powerful Empath: Raven’s self-control sometimes slips and she becomes overwhelmed by ambient emotions, suffers pain from very strong feelings around her, or she unwittingly uses her Emotion Control and Numb Emotions powers on others. She always regrets these lapses.
- Temper: Raven’s dark nature occasionally threatens to dominate her personality. When giving in to her darker emotions or when overpowered by demonic influence, she becomes the infernal embodiment of Pride and it’s up to her closest friends to bring her back.

- Big Fluffy Wings: Shayera has rather large and hard to hide wings. These make it difficult for her to blend in among the normal citizens of Earth the way that the majority of her comrades within the Justice League are capable of doing. Because of this fact, she tends to suffer numerous complications that go hand in hand with not having a separate civilian persona from her heroic identity.
- Honor: Shayera follows a strict code of honor when it comes to fights, and even when not fighting. She obeys the rules of fair play and hospitality, and may even pick up other odd and restrictive rules to add to her code of honor as she gets older.
- Motivation: Patriotism: Shayera has been sent to Earth in advance of the Thanagarian invasion force in hopes that she might act as an effective scout and determine Earth’s weaknesses should Thanagar's enemies, the Gordanians, attack. Her cover story is that she happened to be tracking criminals to their fortress when she was unexpectedly teleported to Earth.
- Taphophobia: Shayera's greatest fear is being trapped in a coffin and buried alive, and this fear only increases if it were to involve having her wings restrained.
- Temper: Common things that you might hear Shayera say include: "Less talking, more hitting!" or "Excuse me, Hawkgirl Smash!" and various other things of the sort. It is clear she has a temper.

Complications
- Demonic Nature: Blaze is a spawn of the Abyss, and is easily recognized as such by those with properly aligned mystical senses.
- Honor: Blaze will keep her word once she has given it to someone, but actually convincing her to swear an oath of honor is like pulling the teeth out of a nesting mother dragon while the dragon is fully aware of what you are trying to do to it!
- Motivation: Hedonism: Blaze is the Queen Mother of all Succubi, and as should be expected, she exists solely to enjoy the rapture that comes from indulging every single one of her vices.
- Power Loss: When Blaze isn't located within the extradimensional realm known as The Abyss, she suffers a -5 penalty to her Stamina score (and the accompanying loss to her Defensive scores and skill ranks), and also is incapable of using her Queen of the Abyss array and talents.
- Rivalry: Blaze is constantly plotting against other arch-devils, demon lords, deities, and yes, even her own brother!
Uneasy Sits the Crown: Blaze’s reign in the Abyss is in constant dispute. The only things that change are whether those who dispute her position opt to do so openly or from behind closed doors, and who happens to be behind it the threat at any given point in time.
