The Lost Girl smiles, and suddenly it was if the chill was never there. Renee wouldn't have even heard the doors unlock, they simply were already. "Yep! We have a deal. I'll leave you to yourself then, may want to go out there before that girl out there starts to cause a fuss. You can contact her people using this number. Just be mindful of the leprechaun."

Turbing to the side, she started drawing streaks of ice on the window with her finger, using a number her Master had uncovered surring that first encounter. "Oh, I really do hope she's not too upset with me, I havn't had anyone who was my age to play with in a very long time..."
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

[OOC: Ok, let's see if this time it will post.]

Renee Callenholt exited the car as quickly as she could, shutting the door a bit too hard and garnering the looks from her colleagues. The frost that had formed on the car was fast sublimating in the dry Nevada sun and was invisible to anyone who wasn't next to it. Straightening herself, she strode her way to the operations van where the little girl was located.

"I didn't do anything! She pointed the gun at me." Rhionnan was explaining her side of the story as the door opened. "It was her. She did it!"

Renee sighed. She needed to tread carefully. If she said the wrong thing then she was done for. Frankly, she shouldn't even be speaking to this girl. That was a disbarment by itself, but Renee had few options. "How did you stop that ball in mid air?"

Rhionnan crossed her arms. "I didn't. I threw the ball at a bad girl. I hit her and she went away."

"You threw a ball at a girl? How did you know she was bad?" Remember Renee. Ask questions. Do not lead.

"Because she was all normal and then she was all, I am dead now! So I threw the ball and it hit the girl."

Shit. Was this girl really just some normal little girl? "So you have no powers." Renee said, dejectedly.

"I never said that. My mom says that. I have Cassidy. He helps me. Watch. Cassidy, can you grab that water for me? No the unopened one. I don't want anyone's germs." While you see the fully manifested leprechaun jump and leap from person to person in a comical fashion, eventually grabbing a bottle of water from a package of them, it is clear from their reactions that no one else in the van sees the interloper as he tossed it to Rhionnan. "Thanks Cassidy."

Renee breathed a sigh of relief. It was probably going to look bad pointing a gun at a 12 year old, but at least the 12 year old had powers. Her political career is probably ruined, but at least she might not go to prison. "Look. It is clear we got off on the wrong foot. I am sorry I pointed my gun at you, but I saw no little girl. Just as I think no one here saw whoever this Cassidy thing is. You walked into a dangerous situation and there are a lot of bad men near here. You scared me and hopefully the bad men don't know we are coming."

"Wait. I can help with the bad people! I have been training for this forever."

"No. We are calling your mom to come pick you up. Now who is she?"

Once the police figure out they have the daughter of an employee of the local news team, their faces blanch.

[Meanwhile with Breach]

Several minutes go by while Breach types away at the computer in front of her. Eventually Lana asks, "So we are getting something from the bank? If we don't have a key, I might be able to get inside the box anyway if we can make sure I am unobserved for a moment." As she says this, Lana puts her hand through the wall she was leaning on. "I assume you remember that little trick of ours."

[In the arena]

The fight begins in thirty minutes. Massari looks well rested and ready for a fight. He opponent Shocker however looks a bit shaken from his phantasmal friends. Quinn made a motion for both fighters to get to their places by the ring.

From the corner of her eyes, Rhionnan would see the Lost Girl smiling apologetically, mouthing the words 'I'm sorry' as if it would make the sheer betrayal of trust any better. For all the subterfuge and exploitation of circumstance involved, she didn't actually want to see any more spirits her original age if it was possible. Anything could've happened if she'd stirred up the hornets nest and honestly, being killed outright would've been one of the better options. There were some very, very, bad men within the casino proper.

The further children were away from the that, the better.

Job accomplished, the spirit fades as her chain is reeled back towards into her master's soul.

"I've gotten assurance from the DA, now we just need to finish... Everything else. Great. Breech, and... Lana was it? Let me know when you're ready to pull off your heist. I usually prefer a fair bit more preparation in such matters but... Well, I wouldn't be as successful as I was if I didn't have something to back it up. " Vincent spoke, crossing his arms. Inside his chest the spirit settled into an inactive state, the closest to sleep a ghost could achieve while still tied to the mortal plane.

Yet, not all his spirits were reeled in. One still remained out and active, and the ocultist was loath to admit he was having some difficulty bringing it under complete control. He hated when the Hangman got like this.

~

It was a man's discordant whisper, so familiar yet just out of reach. "It's almost time.

The lights were hot, yet the sweat felt too cold. "Just thirty minutes. Harshed an aged voice, from a fighter that was well past her prime before she ever stepped foot in his ring.

"Are you ready?

Faintly he could hear the ringing of an old bell, from the bowels of a long forgotten childhood memory. "You're on in Thirty, Shocker!" Exclaimed another, utterlly devoide of the raw pride it once held. They hadn't been excited to see him go into the arena for even for years before they were killed. What was this strange glee?

"We've been waiting a long time for this."

Has the room always been this wobbly before? "Thirty minutes, just thirty minutes... " Worried one more, small and filled with the frailty of a newbie. He didn't even last a full round.

"Until you fall."

The whispers halted dead, leaving room filled with a cold silence.

In the corner, a figure grinned behind its' sack with maniacal glee.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

[OOC: Give me an intimidation or power check (your choice) for our good friend Kreutz.]

"Lana looked at Breach. I am ready if she is. I know what I am doing and I won't get caught." Lana said the last three words slowly and with emphasis on the word caught. "Just tell me what I am looking for and what my name will be. This time of day, it'll be about thirty minutes to the bank itself."

[Kreutz will save (+3): 23 vs DC 22 (Natural 20)]

Kreutz shook his head hard. "I have done this a million times. I killed you then and I'll kill you again if you stand in my way. Now back up. I am going to give you some company." All of his previous fatigue from your manipulations fell away as Kreutz 'Shocker' Weber laid his eyes on his next victim. He looked at Massari. "You're next $#%@!".

"I would be down for either. Not sure we have the time though. It will take about thirty minutes to get there after all. I am sure you would enjoy the fight though. Perhaps later you and I could join in on those festivities."

"We should do it now," Breach says. "The longer we wait, the less useful whatever we find in the deposit box will be for our employers. I'm there will be a video of the fight that we can watch some other time."

"Fair enough. Just make sure my name stays in its memory and keep ready for any complications. I would prefer if I didn't follow you into prison." Lana begins to stretch herself and then hands you a small communicator. She tells you it is so she can talk to you while out in the field.

"Okay. Do you want me to cause a distraction while you are there? Maybe have an alarm go off at the jewelry store a couple stores away." Breach asks.

"Got it." Breach says. "Well, let me know when you are close to the bank and I will monitor things from here." She offers Lana a handshake.

When Lana leaves, she turns to Vincent, "So, what do we do in the mean time?"

Vincent crosses his arms, frowning. "That depends. Do you trust her to handle things by herself, or would you like me to accompany her to lend her a hand or two? Thievery is my field, afterall. Admittedly, I've never gone after something as overt as a bank's vault however. "

"Under the current circumstances, I might be willing to trust her. But no, I don't. I will be monitoring her. I suppose one of these monitors here could show us the fight."
