Yeah, I think the only big character left was Ballistic (who I think joined the team at some point). The rest is guys like "Warbuk", or characters nobody's ever heard of, because Cyberforce kind of fell apart in the end.

Cool! I found her to be a pretty generic villain when I first read the book, but I recall hearing later that she joined the team.

The funny thing is, her less "EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEME!" design and her more generic qualities actually make her one of the best-designed characters in the series.

Cyberforce #1 was the only Image comic I actually picked up as a kid, and despite kind of appreciating the art, I found the X-Men Wannabes to be pretty lame. However, my friend Robbie (the guy who got me into comics) was HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARDCORE into the Image Artists, and wanted the issues. So we made a trade- I got his Excalibur one-off comic (where Meggan does a naked dance while under the effects of her weird powers... other stuff happened, like a seance where Doug Ramsey showed up, but I mainly remember the naked Meggan dance), and he got Cyberforce #1 (which he was horrified to see wasn't in a polybag), which had no naked dancing. I pretty clearly won out on that trade, owing to the fact that the Excalibur comic is like five times as long, and features naked dancing in it.

ZOANOIDS

Zoanoids are biologically-engineered creatures originally created by the Ouranus (aka: Creators), a group of aliens who were responsible for engineering most of the life on Earth. They were human beings that had been optimized for battle so that they could participate in the Creators' war against an unknown foe. Following the failed experiment of fusing a Guyver unit to a human, the Ouranus abandoned Earth and all their creations. Over the millenia, Zoanoids intermingled with normal humans their bloodlines were diluted. Only a few rare Zoanoid subjects would surface over the centuries, becoming the basis of various legends and stories of monsters such as the Yeti, Werewolves and others.

Approximately 400 years ago , the Zoalord, known as Archanfel, (one of the original creations of the Ouranus) founded the secret society of Cronos and began inducting human beings into his organisation by turning them into Zoanoids. Between the 1950's and 1960's, Cronos discovered an alien relic in Japan: a lost Creator spacecraft containing all manner of genetic engineering technology. They decided it was in mankind's best interest to continue the Creators' work and began working towards dominating the world through the zoaforming of Earth's population.

Despite the efforts of the Guyvers and their allies, Cronos conquers the world and establish a new global government. They encourage the public to apply for Zoanoid optimization, since Zoanoids possess superior physical prowess and are immune to disease. While they do not force zoaforming upon the populace, they also withold the fact that Zoanoids are genetically programmed to obey the psychic commands of the Zoalords, Cronos's leaders.

Gregole is one of the common types of Zoanoids created by the Cronos Corporation. Developed at Cronos's Japan branch, Gregole is an enhanced muscle type Zoanoid. It is tall and has a reptilian appearance with green skin. It was designed to optimize physical strength and possesses 15 times the muscle power of an average human being. Gregole's skin is highly shock-absorbant and can easily shrug off bullets and other forced impacts. It also tends to lean forward most of the time; its thick neck extends forward so that it can deliver powerful attacks when charging with its horn. At full force, Gregole's horn can punch through armoured vehicles. The two tentacles growing out the back of its head function as balance regulators.

Vamore is the first bio-blaster type Zoanoid developed by Cronos.

It is a tall, brown-skinned creature with a bulbous head and large ears. It is physically weaker than other Zoanoids, possessing just five times the strength of a normal human.

The most distinguishing feature of Vamore are its shoulders. Each is a large, solid shell that conceals a powerful bio-blaster lens that can emit devastating laser blasts. Vamore generates these lasers by combining two chemical agents within its body and the blasters will target opponents automatically. The chemical catalyst for the bio-laser is actually poisonous to Vamore, and so it only has a limited firing span of 2.6 seconds

Ramotith is a hyper-muscle class Zoanoid from the Bio-Boosted Armor Guyver series. With its wide eyes, body hair and huge pointed ears, Ramotith resembles some kind of hairy goblin. This zoaform was developed by Cronos's Japanese branch and is among the organisation's most successful Zoanoid models; the optimization process for this Zoanoid will work on just about any human being. It possesses 15 times the strength of a normal human and, while not quite as capable of absorbing impacts as Gregole, is considerably more nimble, possessing monkey-like dexterity and agility.
Before Cronos's X-Day, there were at least 2000 Ramotith units stationed across the planet. Skin and hair colour differs with each subject.

I have decided to undertake a rather large task...

I looked up Zoanoids and found a size-able list on MonsterWiki. There are 70 different identified creatures, broken into different groups. A lot of the Zoanoids are similar with a few tweaks so it shouldn't be too bad... Just time consuming.

Gobilva is a power-type Zoanoid developed by the Chronos Corporation's Relic's Point facility. Gobilva was designed to incorporate the mass production capability of Ramotith along with the muscle expansion power of Gregole. The optimization only achieved a 74% success rate, and so Gobilva did not undergo mass production. As far as combat ability goes, Gobilva isn't much different from Ramotith, possessing only a small increase in strength.
Prior to Chronos' X-Day, a Gobilva Zoanoid had been planted within the White House which revealed itself as the US military forces fell to Chronos forces

Suckers on the hands and feet allow Cadan to easily scale the hulls of great battleships and aircraft carriers. Once on board, it can not only employ great strength, but also the ability to spew an intense water jet from the mouth, powerful enough to punch a hole right through a human being.
Cadan first saw field combat against the Guyver some time after the D-59 Incident, but barely got the chance to fight as the Zoanoid platoon was quickly vaporised by the Guyver's Mega-Smasher. Other Cadan units would appear during the Takeshiro Incident, but again were swiftly eliminated by Guyver-III. Success against the Guyvers wasn't expected by then since production class Zoanoids had repeatedly failed many times before then.

Against human opponents, however, Cadan proved to be most effective. During X-Day, Cadan units were deployed against the US Navy to great effect.

Bresnel is a power-type Zoanoid. Chronos attempted to produce an enhanced version of Gregole, but met with poor results. The finished product was indeed stronger than Gregole, but its increased muscle and skeletal density made Bresnel significantly slower. Only five Bresnel units were created before Chronos discontinued its production.
The similarities between Bresnel and Gregole are clear. Bresnel's body shape closely matches its predecessor, though its body is also covered with several boney spikes. Due to its decrease in locomotion, Bresnel does not require the balancing tentacles that Gregole sports.

Grimmel is a Bio-Blaster type Zoanoid that is equipped with six bio-laser cannons and is designed to function as a long-range artillery unit. Unfortunately its range is limited since all of its blasters face forward ahead of it and cannot be adjusted.
