Complications:
Animal Instincts: Bloodmoon has trouble sometimes controlling the animalistic urges he feels when using his powers and can become caught up in them.

Loyalty: Bloodmoon will do anything the Crescent Lady orders without hesitation.

Weakness: Bloodmoon is vulnerable (+100%) to attacks from items made of silver.

Background: How Bryan Morgan became associated with the Brimstone House isn't clear but he soon found himself in the debt of the Crescent Lady, a member of the Inner Circle, who decided to have Bryan repay his debt by becoming an operative for her.

Using a ritual that involved the blood of several different were-creatures, the Crescent Lady bestowed upon Bryan powerful lycanthropic based abilities and a few unique weapons that he now uses in service to her as Bloodmoon.

Real Name: Unknown
Height: 5’ 10”
Weight: 153 lbs
Hair: Black
Eye Color: Brown (Golden yellow when using his magic)

Complications:
Big Ego: The Alchemist loves to brag about just how powerful he is compared to his current foe/victim and might make a mistake that a canny opponent might be able to take advantage of.

Power Loss: The Alchemist loses his Alchemy Magic Array if he is unable to touch his hands together before touching anything he wants to alter, or if the rune tattoos on the palms of his hands are damaged in some way.

Background: How the young man known as the Alchemist became associated with the Brimstone House isn't known, though his mastery of alchemy magic makes him one of their more versatile operatives. He claims that he was taken in at a young age by an elder alchemist and trained in the art for several years before being deemed fully trained and sent out into the world on his own.

Exactly who his former teacher was isn’t something the Alchemist has shared with those in charge of the Brimstone House but they’d love nothing more to make an offer of membership to such a powerful sounding mage.

Real Name: Roxanne ‘Roxy’ Reynolds
Height: 5’ 8”
Weight: 137 lbs
Hair: Living
Eye Color: Yellow

Complications:
Respect: Despite working in the ‘big leagues’ for over a year Gorgon still has a street thug mentality and craves respect over anything else.

Temper: Gorgon is a very angry young woman and will fly off the handle with little provocation.

Background: Roxanne ‘Roxy’ Reynolds just seemed to be a bad seed from the start, acting out at a young age so much that her parents thought she might have psychological issues and they took her to every specialist they could. What they learned was that their darling daughter didn’t have any such problems, she knew right from wrong but only cared about her wants and needs over anyone else’s.

At the tender age of thirteen Roxy ran away from home, ending up on the streets where she ended up joining a gang. But thanks to her aggressive mentality and willingness to do whatever was needed to get what she wanted Roxy managed to work her way as one of the most relied on members of the gang by its leaders. However, this life ended abruptly when her powers manifested; gaining scaly skin as well as a head of hair that was now made of dozens of tiny snakes. Now looking like a creature from Greek myth Roxy was kicked out of the gang, though she could fend for herself and she quickly learned the basics of her powers and went back to her old gang to pay them back for their harsh treatment of her.

From there Roxy tried breaking into the world of Alphas, but despite her powers and willingness to do any kind of work she didn’t get too far; many possible employers weren’t willing to hire her because she was inexperienced. That is until she met a man who promised her all the work and money she could ever want, working for a group of people who could use someone with her talents. That was how Roxy became involved with the Brimstone House, and in the last year since she’s been all over the county and robbed all kinds of places and roughed up a number of occult experts and those who collect unusual items that he employers want for themselves.

Roxy is just happy to be paid well for her efforts and live her life the way that she wants.

Real Name: Martin Baker
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 227 lbs
Hair: Black
Eye Color: Yellow

Complications:
Sadist: Flay suffers from a sadistic personality disorder, taking pleasure in the suffering of others (most often by his hand directly, sometimes using torture while other times using his Flesh Sculpting power).

Weakness: Flay is vulnerable (+50%) to attacks from holy items/effects.

Background: A member of the Brimstone House who joined several years ago and managed to not be used in a deadly ritual by a higher ranking member or backstabbed by one of his peers, Martin Baker wanted more personal power within the House. However, as his area of mystical knowledge being demonology he knew the chances of brokering a deal that would be good for him in the “long run” were slim to none. As he was pouring over one of the many tomes owned by the House a plan formed. Instead of trying to work out the details of the “perfect deal” Martin realized he would have better odds simply tricking the demons he could summon. Soon he’d gathered all the items he needed for several summoning rituals and Martin carefully spoke the words of power that would bridge the dimensional barriers and bring forth the hellish beings he wanted to broker with.

Martin’s offered deal was simple: his soul for a part of the demon’s body choose by Martin, to be collected at a later date. It was so simple a deal that all thirteen demons gladly sacrificed whatever part the mage asked for, as all he wanted were large patches of their skin. For over a year Martin worked with his demonic stock all the while reading himself for the day when the thirteen demons would come calling on him for his soul. On the appointed day, at the appointed time, each of the thirteen demons were very surprised to find that they had twelve other claims to contend with for their prize. And true to demon nature, they began fighting amongst themselves just as Martin had planned.
Martin wasted no time in quietly speaking the verbal components of his spell while mixing the ingredients required and by the time Martin had his spell ready there were only seven demons left. Each of whom were subjected to what was the light of the Archangel Michael, which cleansed the corrupted spirits of the demons; destroying their essences while leaving their bodies behind.

Martin then set to gathering the remaining pieces of what he needed to finish his work – the grafting of various parts of the demons bodies to his own, which would give him access to the infernal powers the various demons possessed. Once he was finished Martin possessed the abilities of all of original owners of his grafted parts as well as the unique ability to mold flesh like clay. It was these new talents, along with Baron Twilight recognizing the amount of cunning it had taken Martin to successfully pull off his gambit that earned him the right to be part of the higher rankings of the Brimstone House.

Real Name: Victor “Vic” Reynolds
Height: 10'
Weight: 800 lbs
Hair: None
Eye Color: Emerald Green

Complications:
Depression: Due to his situation with his body, Vic suffers from bouts of depression as he misses being a flesh and blood person and all that comes along with that.

Under Orders: As Baron Twilight is the one responsible for Vic’s transformation he also holds the key to undo it. Thus insuring Vic’s loyalty for the rest of his “life”.

Background: Victor "Vic" Reynolds was your typical street hood - he ran with the wrong crowd, was at all the wrong places at all the wrong times and by the time he'd turned eighteen, Vic had a rap sheet that said he was nothing but trouble and would likely be in federal prison in no time. However, it seemed fate had other plans for him.

Vic and some of his buddies decided to rob a mansion they'd all heard held all kinds of loot: from the solid gold and silver kind to stacks of cash and things they could sell on the street for a hefty price tag. The problem was that it was finally time for Vic and his friends to run afoul a breed of criminals who were much worse than they were: they attempted to break into one of the places used by the Brimstone House as a power base.

Needless to say, most of the crew didn't survive breaking into that place although Vic did. When Baron Twilight moved forward to deal with Vic the young crook fell to his knees and proceeded to beg for his worthless life as well as offer himself as a willing servant to the Baron. An idea which appealed to the Baron in an odd way, and being in something of a peculiar mood that night agreed to Vic's offer, though he did state that Vic would need "some work done" to be truely useful. That work entailed subjecting Vic to a ritual grafting process in which he was forced to wear a hood that granted him certain unique abilities (mostly increased physical abilities, though Vic did like the fear causing abilities very much and the regenerating was helpful as well). Calling himself Hoodwink, Vic worked as the Baron's right-hand man for several years. Performing duties such as gathering victims for sacrifice, recruiting new workers for the House, as well as making sure they were properly trained and being the head of security of whatever House residence the Baron was residing at.

This went on for almost a decade when the Baron moved to Arcadia and as usual Vic went along with him. Though this time things weren't as easy for him as they had before, this time Vic ran afoul the Aurelius. The two men took an instant disliking to one another and often went after the other whenever they had an opportunity.

During one of the Baron’s plots Hoodwink had his last fight with the Aurelius, both of them silently agreeing that only one of them would walk away from this final confrontation. Despite his best efforts it was Hoodwink who was lying in a pool of his own blood when it was all said and done; his hood had been forcibly removed from him, leaving it broken and no longer supplying Vic with the healing abilities he'd come to rely on and his injuries were bad enough that he wouldn't have survived without the help of someone.

Ultimately it was Baron Twilight who found Vic, taking the physically broken man with him as he left the House citing that Vic was his to do with as he pleased and despite the mistakes Vic had made he had shown how the House had become lax and soft and needed to change how it operated. Times had changed and it had been shown to the Baron that the House needed to adapt and change itself or it would die, and with that in mind how could he leave behind the man responsible for them learning this important lesson? It would have been cruel and ungrateful for him to have done that. No, he had plans to for Vic that would show just how much the Baron truly appreciated what Vic had helped him to learn.

Within a day's time Vic was dead, well his body was even though his spirit lived on inside a gem the Baron had managed to keep ahold of despite the loss of so many other items. The Baron went about with his plans for bringing the Brimstone House into the modern era, reorganizing how things were run, how it's people were selected, how they were appointed work, everything. Including the security of the various houses the House operated out of, now they would be protected by a unique creation that the Baron paid for himself that would be an almost unyielding force and Vic was to a major part of it. The Baron commissioned the creation of a Brass Golem but instead of a pre-created personality he would supply a spirit to control the golem that was already 100% loyal to him. It took over a year for the golem to be forged but when it was done the gem that held Vic's spirit was inserted into the specially made slot and suddenly he able to interact with the world around him again. From there Vic had to be taught how to operate his new body and its implanted abilities, he had a special duty to perform and would need to be at his best.

Now every one of the places used by the Brimstone House has Vic inside it, as his brass body is able to create complete copies of itself as well as Vic's personality to control it in addition to the usual physical ability such a creation has at its disposal. Dubbed the Brass Knight, he guards each place as if his life depends on it, as it actually does. Baron Twilight has made it clear that if Vic were to fail in his assigned duties, the mage would not step in to save him again. So Vic takes his current situation very serious and works tirelessly to protect the different locations owned by the Brimstone House.

Background: There aren’t many people who know the past of the man known as Conjurer, and that’s the way he likes it. He works for the Brimstone House, collecting magical items of interest for them or even interfering in the workings of the of both the first and current Blackstone as well as the Aurelius.

Conjurer’s magic is a lesser practiced, but highly specialized style of evocation magic, allowing him to focus magical energy into servants or items he feels the need to use at any given moment. Conjurer’s level of control indicate that he is of master level and he is very creative in the uses of his abilities; creating not only weapons for himself but also a variety of beasts. There is little the man can’t have on hand without a moment’s concentration, and that makes him dangerous to any who oppose him.

Complications:
Code Of Honor: Jin Toju follows many of the ways of Bushido, such as not taking unfair advantage of an opponent and will not strike from surprise.

Hatred ~Demons: Jin Toju cannot stand demons of any kind.

Loyalty: Jin Toju completely follows the directions of Baron Twilight without question.

Background: Only Baron Twilight knows why Jin Toju serves the Brimstone House, but it is a duty he fulfills without hesitation or question. Between his skill with his weapons of choice, a traditional daisho and samurai bow that possess powerful magical abilities, there is little that he hasn’t been able to accomplish once he has set to task.

Real Name: Declan Culverton
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 282 lbs
Hair: Unknown
Eye Color: Blue

Complications:
Hunting Grounds: The Harvester tends to keep to a specific area, which he designates as his hunting grounds, and rarely ventures from it.

Motivation ~Psychopath: There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the Harvester’s methods. The only common element in his victims is their misfortune of unknowingly entering his hunting grounds.

Obsession: The Harvester is a creature of habit - once he finds prey (be it a group of people or a single person), he hunts them unless he is somehow stopped.

Slay The Sinful, Not The Innocent: The Harvester seems to target those who revel in lives of sin and engage in personal pleasure above all other pursuits. However, when facing someone who are innocent (especially children and animals) they are Disabled on Attack and Skill checks against them.

Weakness: As a mystical being the Harvester is vulnerable to certain magical effects that specifically target Fae creatures.

Background: Born in 1959, with severe disfigurements and mental handicaps, Declan Culverton was raised by his single mother, Lillian, in isolation, not letting him attend school and educating him at home. When he was 11 years old, Declan’s mother was unable to get a babysitter for him, which forced her to bring him to Camp Avon Lake where she worked as a cook. Unfortunately Declan was bullied by the other campers because of his handicaps, and at one point Declan attempted to escape from his tormentors only for the cruel children to catch up to him at the dock and throw the disfigured boy into the lake where he drowned; the counselors who were supposed to be watching the children were instead were having sex in the woods. Even though Declan's body was never found the camp was closed because of the ensuing police investigation, which ruled Declan’s death an accident, but reopened the next summer.

Many of the previous members of the camp’s staff returned, among them Declan’s mother as well as the two counselors she held responsible for Declan’s death. Suffering a mental breakdown, Lillian went on a homicidal rampage killing several of the counselors at the camp to avenge her son. After slaughtering most of them in cold blood without showing any remorse, Lillian was beheaded by one of the survivors with a machete. After the counselors fled the camp, Declan (who had somehow survived his near-drowning), perhaps directed by voices only he could hear, collected the discarded machete and his mother's remains.

Over the following decades, Declan would live as a hermit in the woods surrounding Avon Lake. Living among the dilapidated cabins of the camp, stealing what he needed from nearby residences while killing those who trespassed upon his territory, disposing the bodies of his victims to make it appear as if they had simply disappeared. The locals soon became aware of Declan and avoided going near the old campgrounds, correctly believing that if they left him alone he would do likewise.

A few years later a tabloid reporter got a hold of the story after another group of teenagers mysteriously disappeared and began doing research on the area. It didn’t take him very long to realize what he’d discovered – a serial killer was living in the Avon Lake area. In his published story, he named Declan “the Harvester” in reference to the killer’s supposed purpose being to harvest the souls of his victims.

However, the truth of about the Harvester’s history is decidedly different than what was printed.

He was born Declan Culverton in 1959 and he did suffer disfigurements and mental handicaps, and his mother did kill all those camp counselors (though her reasons for doing so aren’t known for certain). Declan did live the life of a hermit in woods surrounding Avon Lake, though he never did kill anyone himself. At least until he became a pawn of the Brimstone House that is. The stories about all the supposed killings were nothing more than urban legends.

Richard Kane was the former hig ranking member of the Brimstone House’s Inner Circle who had been forced out by Baron Twilight’s takeover. Looking to create a weapon to aid him in regaining his former position Kane summoned the spirit of the Wild Huntsman, a Fae creature that was said to hunt those who were alone (either physically or spiritually), and ritually bonded its essence to a man he'd kidnapped: Declan Culverton.

Satisfied with his work, Kane set the Harvester loose upon the world - his mission was to gather the life essences of people for Kane to use as fuel for a ritual that would give him enough mystical power to take back control of the Brimstone House. Unfortunately for Kane, Baron Twilight learned of his plan and recognized the Harvester for what he was - a very useful and powerful tool. Dispatching Longclaw to deal with Kane, Twilight soon became the new master of the Harvester.

Now the Baron dispatches the Harvester to randomly kill people; most often to help hthe Baron prepare for rituals that require large amounts of human sacrifices, but other times it's just for the Baron's personal enjoyment of watching the Harvester work. At this point it seems that the legend of the Harvester will continue unless someone is able to figure out a way undo the ritual that first bonded the spirit of the Wild Huntsman to its host and permanently put the destructive being to rest.

Ripclaw! I loved these comics...
Ripclaw was pretty good, I wasn't personally wild about the rest of his team.

The picture or the character idea? Either one is fine by me, but I was wondering which.
