HISTORY:
Nanites from a Brainiac probe made contact with the mind of Milton Fine, a circus sideshow mentalist billed as the Amazing Brainiac. They discovered that Fine, unlike others of his profession, actually possessed latent mental powers. Slowly, the nanites began to possess Fine's mind. As their hold strengthened, Fine experienced excruciating headaches, and his powers began to awaken. This release of mental energies seemed to transfer Fine's pain to the Kryptonian brain of Clark Kent, who happened to be nearby at the circus. Kent assumed his identity as Superman and sought out the source of his pain, locating Fine just as the nanites took complete control of the mentalist. In possession of the body, the nanites down-loaded a version of Vril Dox's consciousness into Fine's brain. As a test of his power he attacked Superman, assuming the name Brainiac for the first time. With the aid of Fine's common law wife, Janet Jones, Superman was finally able to render Brainiac unconscious.

The authorities thought Fine's story of alien possession was a psychotic fantasy, and he was confined to the psychiatric ward of Metropolis General Hospital, drifting in and out of catatonia as he tried to resist Dox's hold. Following Jones' death in a traffic accident, Fine was allowed to attend her funeral.

There, Dox regained control and escaped from Fine's handlers. As Fine's consciousness fought the possession, a massive tumor developed in his brain. Dox, now in complete control of the body, experienced excruciating pain from the tumor. He stalked and killed sever-al homeless men, drawing off samples of their spinal fluid in hopes of developing a serum that would bring him relief. This reign of terror finally ended in a psychic struggle with Superman, which left Brainiac comatose.

Unknown to either Superman or Brainiac, this psychic encounter played on the guilt the Man of Steel was suffering from performing his duty in the execution of three super-criminals. As a result, Super-man temporarily developed a split personality, and for a time he stalked the city streets by night in the guise of Gangbuster.

Industrialist Lex Luthor arranged for Fine to undergo an operation to remove the tumor, but the surgery involved much more than the removal of dangerous tissue. Seeing Brainiac as a powerful tool to use against Superman, Luthor saw to it that the tumor was replaced with a special bionic implant that would boost Fine's mental powers. In one respect, the operation was a success: Brainiac's telepathic and psychokinetic powers increased significantly, and he discovered that he could generate his own force field by sheer will. However, the last vestiges of Milton Fine's mind vanished with the tumor’s removal, and Brainiac soon turned the tables on Luthor, assuming control of Lexcorp. By making himself Lex's silent partner, Brainiac ran Lexcorp's business for many weeks, and Luthor could only rage impotently.

Brainiac then had a chance encounter with Superman while the latter was in his Gangbuster guise. Thinking himself up against an ordinary human being, Brainiac was unprepared for the power and resistance he encountered, and he fell into a coma again. Luthor had him heavily sedated and moved to a psionics research facility for further study.

Brainiac's human body began wasting away, but his mind broke free and began exploring the psionics facility to plan his next move. Finally, Brainiac rejoined his body to carry out a scheme to save his life. His physical form was failing, but his mind was still strong. Mentally entrancing several Lexcorp technicians and eventually even Luthor himself, Brainiac organized a team of cybemeticists to enhance his body. A thrall was sent into the top-secret Cadmus Project under the guidance of the cyborg Metallo, whom Brainiac bad enlisted in his scheme.to procure special materials to rejuvenate and rearrange the genetic matter of Brainiac’s human body.

From this combination of treatments, Brainiac emerged more powerful than ever, his reconstructed body now physically stronger than that of any normal human or Coluan. Now he could mentally dominate and manipulate several people at once without the necessity of external electronics. His hold on these thralls still varied inversely with the number of people under his control and the strength of their minds. New bionic implants enabled Brainiac to go on line with virtually any computer system.

Superman discovered Brainiac's rebirth too late to stop it, and Brainiac retreated to the depths of space in a new star ship, there to continue his search for power.

Recently, Brainiac employed an amplification device to project his mind across space, wreaking havoc on the Cadmus Project. His apparent motive for this attack was to taunt Superman and Vril Dox II, Brainiac's own son and the leader of the L.E.G.l.O.N., the Licensed Extra Governmental Interstellar Operatives Network, a galactic law-enforcement organization.

After briefly encountering the L.E.G.l.O.N. on Earth, Superman journeyed to the planet Colu in an abandoned L.E.G.l.O.N. scout craft. There, he prevented the junior Dox from murdering his father, but in the aftermath of the conflict, Brainiac managed to escape into outer space once again.

TALENTS: Leadership; Intimidation; Apokolipian Science

CONTACTS: Apoklips (high); Darkseid's Elite (high); Orion (low, very low); Lex Luthor (high)

HISTORY:
Darkseid was the ruler of Apokolips, a tyrant who invaded multiple Earths throughout the entire Multiverse while searching for his daughter, Grail.

In another universe, the Old Gods were immortal beings who relied on the prayers of mortals to remain in power, but nevertheless cared nothing about them. Soon the rebellious Uxas began putting lies and corruption in the minds of these Gods which sparked a war between them. As the gods began to die, Uxas began stealing the Gods' power for himself.

Eventually, when his father Yuga Khan came to strike down both him and his brother Izaya for their insolence against the Old Gods, he used the Anti-Life to revive the Olds Gods Uxas murdered, but was ultimately slain by his own son who took the fallen Gods' power to become the New God Darkseid.

Izaya, too, received power from the Old Gods and confronted him, claiming they were New Gods who should unite to bring forth a new age, but Darkseid only felt disdain and destroyed their world, with only him and Izaya remaining.

As eons passed, Darkseid created the hellpit of Apokolips and has remained as its sole ruler, with the only force capable of opposing him being his brother Highfather and his forces of New Genesis. At some point, he captured an aspect of Death in the form of the Black Racer to become his greatest weapon, but he couldn't command it unless it were anchored to a sentient host.

Darkseid conceived many sons; one, Kalibak, became a brutal warrior of Apokolips while another, Orion, was traded for Highfather's own Scot in a promise of peace between both planets.

Some time ago Darkseid came across Myrina, an Amazon from a parallel universe and conceived another child with her, a daughter named Grail, who unbeknownst to him was being raised to destroy him.

One day, his daughter of an unknown mother, a mischief-maker named Kaiyo, defied Darkseid's authority by laughing at his law, prompting him to pursue her across universes she would escape through. In one of those he found a champion, Superman, whose might rivaled his own? Jealous, Darkseid declared war on that planet and began collecting four powerful Female Furies, K'li, Famine, Pestillence, and Death, from that universe to use in the final battle. Death became impregnated with Darkseid's child, Deathspawn.

While his armies destroyed the forces of that particular mortal world, in his search he found a cabaret of other parallel worlds, each with their own iteration of Superman. Eventually he would come to another universe harboring another Superman. Like the first time, he went to confront him personally, easily overpowering the Kryptonian's allies and managing to defeat and capture Superman. However, the combined assault of Earth's defenders proved to be enough distraction for Batman to release Superman, who pushed Darkseid through a Boom-Tube for Cyborg to send to Apokolips, away from Earth.

Defeated, Darkseid decided to focus on his war against the other Earth, targeting the planet as the sacrifice for Apokolips' rebirth, and thus started the creation of a clone of that Earth's Superman to spread his will among the humans and prepare the planet for his arrival.

Five years later, Darkseid sealed himself at the Mobius Chamber in the heart of Apokolips when he was visited by his adopted son, Mister Miracle, who demanded him to reveal the truth about his origin, but Darkseid remained silent and ignored him. This angered Miracle to the point of attacking the evil God with the intent of destroying him, but he unwillingly set him free. Darkseid easily defeated Mister Miracle and offered his ally Fury to join him against Earth, an offer she accepted. After imprisoning Miracle, he was visited by the Traveler who offered him a deal with New Genesis: feed on that Earth only and Highfather will not interfere.

After eliminating the World Army's Commander, Darkseid commanded the Doyenne Barda to cleanse the Earth for Apokolips' arrival. With the preparations complete, Darkseid released the terraformer on the planet's atmosphere while his Deathspawn infected the Earth's core.

Though the Wonders of the World managed to dent the terraformer, Darkseid declared the fight was already won before two Kryptonians, Power Girl and the new Superman, broke into Apokolips' court to confront the Dark God head-on. They were no match for the tyrant who singlehandedly defeated the defenders of Earth, leaving the Green Lantern alone against him. He initially proved to be stronger than the Green Avatar, defeating him and then killing countless human survivors to nourish Apokolips, but he returned with the power of the Multiversal Green that strengthened him enough to repel Darkseid from the survivors and save them from his wrath.

Darkseid nonetheless recovered and seemingly destroyed his enemies before Apokolips finally devoured Earth, declaring the war won and announcing that they are ready for what was to come next.

Darkseid sent his Fury Lashina and the assassin Kanto on a hunt for his daughter's mother, while he returned to his throne room and came across Mister Miracle. The escapist confronted Darkseid but he once again proved to be stronger, thus Miracle was forced to Boom-Tube to Earth, to which Darkseid remained indifferent. The Anti-God arrived on Earth while Superman and an extra, Lex Luthor, were sent to Darkseid's domain by Lena Luthor, another emissary of Apokolips. Darkseid commanded his forces to mobilize with his war plan, ordering his right hand DeSaad to unleash the prisoners in the slave camp, sicking them on Kal-El and Lex. He also commanded his General Steppenwolf to take his firstborn Kalibak with them in the war effort against Mobius.

With his daughter Grail summoning him, Darkseid and his army finally arrived to the battle scene against the Anti-Monitor, facing his enemy head-on. Growing desperate, Darkseid summoned the Black Racer, the living death of the New Gods, to destroy his enemy. The Anti-Monitor fused it with the Justice League's Flash and merged its power with the Anti-Life Equation to finally destroy Darkseid, ending his life once and for all.

Afterwards, when the child of Superwoman and Mazahs was born and taken by Grail, the child absorbed the Omega Effect from Lex Luthor as well as the Anti-Life Equation from Steve Trevor becoming the new Darkseid temporarily, before being separated from the Anti-Life Equation and reverted into a child form of Darkseid taken by Grail to be raised.

Sometime after the invasion of the Dark Multiverse Grail began killing Old Gods such as Hercules and absorbing their power. She would then give the power to Uxas to make him grow stronger, and grow closer to becoming Darkseid again. After absorbing Hercules' power Uxas transformed into a much older child around the age 11 or 12 in human biological standards. After aging to a young adult, he fights Zeus himself. During the fight, he reveals that killing Hercules and the rest of Zeus' children was just bait for Zeus himself. He kills Zeus, absorbs his power, restores his own and escapes with Grail.

So I've been trying to keep it a bit organized on here. Posting by super group with some villains thrown in that have specific connections to it. But I realize that I have a lot of conversions and all organized alphabetically. Would any one be offended if I posted them all alphabetically? I realize that way would take more time to get to some fan faves, but I'll totally do requests to fill in gaps.

- I've been doing some history research lately and pre-crisis Dinah had, hands down, the strangest and down right confusing origin story ever. One of the things the Crisis did was clear it all up. Originally Dinah was a WW1 hero on Earth 2 who's daughter was cursed and taken by Johnny's Thunderbolt and placed in another dimension. Then her husband was killed in the line of duty and she decided to move to Earth 1. Then she started dating the Green Arrow. Well as time wore on it became harder to explain how she wasn't showing her age let along how a woman who should by rights be in her 50s (I'm being generous) can still be adventuring.

So in walks the Retcon!

During the battle that killed her husband, Dinah absorbed a dose of radiation that was enough to kill her but slowly. On the way to Earth 1, she asked Superman (Kal-L) to stop off at her daughters extradimensional grave/prison. There they discovered that the baby was alive and had aged normally. Not only that but was a mirror image of her mother. Thunderbolt appears and it is decided to free the younger Dinah and imprint her mothers mind on to hers. From that point history resumes and the young Dinah goes to Earth 1, joins the JLA and snogs Green Arrow. In a brilliant use of superdickery, Superman never mentions it to her at all over the years until Dinah is in the pocket dimension again and finds her mother and fathers corpses.
A few details.

The original Black Canary was NOT a heroine of World War I. She wasn't even a heroine of World War II. She debuted in 1947, a few years AFTER the second World War ended. Based on the story at the time, you weren't being that generous. In 1947, Dinah was no older than 23, and probably less. If she was born in 1924 (1947 - 23), than in 1983, when the story of the mother-daughter switch was revealed, she would have been 59. If she didn't go to college before trying to enter the police academy (her rejection by the police academy is what led Dinah to become Black Canary), she would have been probably closer to 55.

Of course, all this is plagued by the fact that heroes on Earth-Two aged in real time, heroes on Earth-One didn't. Otherwise, Barry Allen who was an established forensic scientist by 1956, when he became the Flash, would have been born in the early 1930s, and would have only been a few years younger than Dinah.

It was Kal-el of Earth-One, not Kal-L of Earth-Two, who brought Dinah from Earth-Two to Earth-One. Kal-L, being from Earth-Two, had no reason to go to Earth-One at the end of the adventure.

The "radiation" that was killing Dinah was only slightly slower, than radiation that had killed Larry Lance (her husband). He'd died trying to shield her, and was only a few feet from her when she was killed. The radiation started killing her during the trip between Earths, and that was no less than a day after the battle that killed Larry.

And, by-the-by, the only people from Earth-Two that Dinah ever interacted with after she moved to Earth-One were the Justice Society, and the mystic temporal energies Ian Krarkull had absorbed during a case in '41 were keeping them physically younger than their actual ages. As they were older than her, and they were kept younger-ish, she had a reason to not notice.

- God I miss Ted. I know he's alive in Nu52 but it's not the same. He and Booster were pretty much the only saving grace in the "funny" JLI era. That was a bromance for the ages.

- Originally from Earth pre-Crisis, Ted is one of those gifted athlete, scientist types that you only find in comics. Post Crisis was Ted's glory time. Not only did he have tons of character development but he is a legacy with his own legacy.
It was Kord Omniversal Research and Development, actually. So K.O.R.D.

I miss Ted, too. I loved Ted. I have one college professor who, when he sees me, still calls me "Ted". I showed up to a test in one of his classes in a Blue Beetle II costume on Halloween, 29 years ago. Please keep in mind that Dr. C. and I were (and are) going to the same comic shop, so he knew his Blue Beetle.

The only known picture of me in said costume is my avatar pic.

I have alphabetical postings of my guys from "The List" of un-statted characters, but I've found that it's good to pop in and out of the alphabet, doing the lettered names in sets at random- so work on the "G" section, then the "L", etc. It saves people from waiting too long for those poor "Z" guys :)!

TALENTS: Pilot: space, Trivia: Galactic Lore

CONTACTS: Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, Major Victory, Starhawk, Hawk-god

HISTORY:
Aleta Ogord was born in the 31st century on the planet Arcturus IV. Aleta was raised to be aggressive and ruthless by her father. Stakar, her adopted brother, was the more intellectual of the pair. Although she initially resented him, the two eventually fell in love and married. The two traveled to the Forbidden City on Arcturus and discovered a statue of the powerful Hawk God. Aleta accidentally triggered a mechanism in the statue. Her body was turned into energy and merged with Stakar, granting him incredible power.

With this bonding only one of them could exist at any time while the other was locked in Limbo until they swapped places. Stakar remained corporeal for most of the time and took the name Starhawk. Aleta's father Ogord decided to use Starhawk as a weapon, but Aleta and Stakar did not want to be used in such a way. The two left for space and Ogord vowed revenge.

Eventually the two grew lonely in space. Secretly returning to Arcturus they petitioned the Hawk God to temporarily separate them so that they might have children to which the Hawk God agreed. Stakar and Aleta had triplets: Tara, Sita and John. The two were then re-merged, with Aleta remaining to take care of the children.

However things did not remain well. Stakar, wanting to return to space, forcibly took control as Starhawk. The children were secreted away in a home where they could have instant communication with Starhawk. Aleta began to resent Starhawk for taking them away from her children and keeping her locked in Limbo. During his travels through space, Starhawk met and joined the interstellar freedom fighters known as Guardians of the Galaxy. During the brief periods Aleta was in control she also acted as a member. Aleta's father Ogord later found and abducted his grandchildren, using them in a plot to kill Starhawk. Although the plot failed thanks to the Guardians, the children aged rapidly and died. Aleta never forgave her husband for their loss.

On a later mission Aleta and Starhawk separated. Finally free from her now-hated husband, Aleta divorced him and began a romantic relationship with Vance Astro. Vance reciprocated her feelings and he eventually proposed to Aleta and she agreed to marry him.

Over time the separation from Aleta began to affect Stakar. During her battle with Malevolence he forcibly reabsorbed his ex-wife and fled the team. Although it was Stakar's male form, Aleta's mind was active as well. Another side effect of the forced merger was that Starhawk's physical form was now completely black with stars shinning from his body. Aleta could also physically harm her husband by causing him intense pain. The duo could also swap places and while swapped Stakar could physically harm his wife as well.

Unable to live like this the two battled for the right to be Starhawk and Aleta was the victor. She returned Stakar to his infant form to begin his life anew (as he had done many times before) and took his place as Starkhawk. She also forgave him for all his past transgressions.

Aleta rejoined the Guardians, who were attacking the Badoon, and battled a Badoon powered Captain Universe. She drove off the uni-force and saved her teammates and reunited with her love. However all was not well. As the avatar for the Hawkgod Aleta found herself growing colder and losing her emotions. When the Guardians went to check on Centauri-IV they found the planet altered. While the Guardians were in the past a change to the timeline was made and the Centauri and Badoon were now merged. Yondu further explained that Starhawk had informed them that the Guardians were coming. Aleta denied this but then the group realized that Yondu did not know Aleta was now the Hawkgod's avatar and watched as Stakar returned and confronted his wife.

While the former husband and wife quarreled the Hawk God watched as his avatars bickered like school children. Finally having enough, he brought the two to him and fused the two at the hands, forcing them to work together. Eventually the Hawk God separated them and Aleta opted to withdraw her petition to be Starhawk as she did not like how emotionless she became while being the Hawk God's avatar. She remained with the Guardians of the Galaxy from then on.

Aleta and Stakar eventually became able to separate again with no ill effects, and she resumed her relationship with Vance. However, without Stakar, she seems to be becoming more cold and ruthless like the other Reavers.

HISTORY
Will Everett was a promising young African-American Olympian who had competed in the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin but whose post-Olympic career devolved into a janitorial profession. During an accident involving the explosion of some equipment he was connected to developed by the criminal mastermind the Ultra-Humanite, Everett quickly developed the ability to mimic whatever properties he touched. If he touched wood, then he became wood, and so forth.

At first, he was employed by the Ultra-Humanite as a henchman along with Terrence Curtis (as Cyclotron) and Deathbolt. However, his sympathies soon swayed towards the side of good after repeated exposure to the All-Star Squadron, a team comprised of both Golden Age and retroactive individuals like himself, whom he joined and helped to defeat his former employer's machinations. He then served a lengthy stint as a member of this voluminous mystery man organization.

In February of 1942, the Squadron helped Everett defeat the bigoted villain in his home town of Detroit, the Real American. During the first great Crisis, Amazing Man was one of a group of heroes chosen by the Monitor to try and stop the Anti-Monitor's quest for destruction. Later in 1942, Amazing Man's powers changed so that now he had mastery of magnetism while losing his ability to mimic matter.

In the 1950s, Everett's secret identity was revealed to the public by FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. This consequently endangered the lives of Everett and his family in which they constantly received death threats. During the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's, Everett gradually moved away from the extraordinary and into everyday life. He led anti-segregationist marches across the United States and was responsible for capturing Martin Luthor King, Jr.'s killer, James Earl Ray, becoming one of America's premiere civil rights campaigners.

It was later revealed that his grandson, Will Everett III (a.k.a. "Junior") also developed the same mimicry attributes. He was last seen in the hospital, visited by his grandson and was dying of cancer. The status of his son, the father of Amazing Man III, is currently unknown. For a brief time his grandson Will Everett III carried on the legacy of Amazing Man before dying tragically. Later another grandson named Markus Clay would take up the mantle of Amazing Man.

She had designed a costume, created disc weapons that looked like miniature versions of Captain America's shield, and underwent a lot of physical training to make herself as strong and as agile as humanly possible.

She joined the team as the "American Dream". Shannon soon proved herself to be worthy of Cap's colors, and when the team had to save the original Avengers from a dark parallel reality, she proved that she was worthy of his shield; The original Captain America gave her the alternate Captain's shield. American Dream has fought against the Soldiers of the Serpent, Seth, Doctor Doom (Kristoff Vernard), the Revengers, Fatal Force and Loki. She is not only a great fighter, but a great leader.

CONTACTS: Norman Osborn, Hammer

HISTORY
Norman Osborn fathered twins, a boy named Gabriel and a girl named Sarah, with Gwen Stacy to whom she gave birth while in France. Gwen vowed she would raise them with Peter Parker and refused to allow Norman access to them. Seeing her as a threat to his potential heirs, Norman killed Gwen as the Green Goblin and then raised the two children as their 'uncle'. Due to Norman's enhanced blood, the twins aged about 2-3 times faster than normal and became adults within the span of a few years. Norman lied to them saying that Peter was really their father and was responsible for their mother's death.

Once they were old enough, the twins set out to kill Spider-Man. Peter Parker received an unsent letter written years ago by Gwen Stacy. He could tell that there were faint traces of writing on the other side, so he had tests performed on it by a forensics lab. The tests revealed text stating that Gwen had been pregnant and had twins. He collected DNA from Gwen's grave and proved that the twins, Sarah and Gabriel were her children. Mary Jane Watson then revealed that she had known for years that the twin's father was Norman Osborn.

Attempting to set them straight (and stop their assassination attempts), Spider-Man met Sarah and Gabriel at the place of their mother's death on the Brooklyn Bridge, to tell them that their father had been manipulating them. Sarah began to believe Spider-Man, but Gabriel remained convinced that Spider-Man was their father, and became outraged that Spider-Man had abandoned them and was attempting to pawn them off on Norman. Gabriel attacked, but Spider-Man refused to fight back, not wanting to hurt him. Police became involved, shooting at them and wounding Sarah. Gabriel escaped and found a base Norman had told them about. There, he discovered that Peter had been telling the truth and injected him-self with the Goblin Formula and donned a gray version of the Green Goblin costume, becoming the "Gray Goblin" in an attempt to gain the strength to finally kill Spider-Man.

Attacking at the hospital where Spider-Man was saving Sarah's life, the Grey Goblin was ready to kill Spider-Man in his weakened state when his twin sister intervened, shooting at her twin brother, causing the Goblin Glider to blow up as well as Gabriel to contract amnesia.

Sarah secretly took him home to Paris where she cared for him. Unfortunately, a drug dealer from their youth came after the both of them for the theft of $1.5 million dollars of drugs Gabriel stole from him. The pressure of caring for him and fending off the dealer became too much, and Sarah attempted suicide. While she was in the hospital, he escaped the Osborn estate in a crazed state, and Sarah eventually joined Interpol in an effort to find Gabriel.

He was used by Norman Osborn, injected with a Super-Soldier-Goblin Formula.

Years later, Gabriel Stacy resurfaced and shot his half-brother Harry Osborn in a fit of jealousy over Norman's spoils. Leaving him for dead, Gabriel stole the American Son Armor and fled. Continuing to suffer from the split personality disorder he'd developed as a result of injecting himself with a second dose of the Goblin Serum, Gabriel now committed crimes as himself while his 'American Son' persona undid the damage. The American son persona identified itself as the part of Gabriel that recognized what he was doing was wrong. Recovering from the injury, Harry was informed by his father that Gabriel was, in fact, his brother.

Gabriel's escapades as both his criminal self and his American Son alter ego continued, often being thwarted by Spider-Man. After kidnapping reporter Norah Winters, Gabriel made another attempt on Harry's life, luring Harry to a vacant warehouse. Harry began to fight Gabriel while attempting to convince him that their father was nothing but evil. Gabriel ignored him and continued to fight his brother, only for Harry to deactivate the American Son armor via re-mote. Essentially powerless, Gabriel and Harry became trapped in the ensuing fire resulting from the fight, until they were saved by Spider-Man.

Gabriel was taken to a psychiatric hospital to receive treatment for his split personality disorder and criminal past. While there, he received a package containing the American Son helmet and a note from Norman saying that Norman loved and missed him. However, this left him wondering if he should continue his criminal past or change his beliefs.

HISTORY
Amethyst's parents were the most powerful magic users in all of Gemworld, Lord and Lady Amethyst. They were the natural rulers until Dark Opal arose and slew them. In the ensuing chaos, the witch-mother Citrina whisked Amethyst off to Earth to be raised by the Winston family in Hudson, and she was known as Amy Winston.

Amy discovered on her 13th birthday that she was in fact the Princess from a magical world. Amy also learned that Dark Opal was out to destroy her. Amy had to travel to Gemworld, becoming older through the voyage (since time moved differently in Gemworld, Amy aged into a woman in her early twenties while there) and fought the evil that was attacking her. She led a rebellion that eventually killed Dark Opal and restored freedom to Gemworld.

However, some time later, during the war between Order and Chaos, the Lords of Chaos decided to reclaim Gemworld, and sent the Lord called Child to do so. Amethyst was only able to stop him by merging with him, and then merging both of them with the Gemworld itself, effectively trapping them both.

During the events of Infinite Crisis, Amethyst battled the Specter on Gemworld and was either powerful enough to repel his assault on the planet or simply clever enough to escape him. She appeared later on as one of many magical beings summoned to aid in the reconstruction of the shattered Rock of Eternity. Amethyst departed from the Rock of Eternity in the aftermath of her battle with Doctor Fate, and was later seen with many other sorcerers pooling their powers to summon the restored Specter to Stonehenge. She is currently the only known surviving Lord of Order in the Tenth Age of Magic.

HISTORY
Lonnie Machin was a straight-a high school student, heavily influenced by philosophers and skilled in gadgetry. He developed the costumed identity of Anarky, following his own beliefs and started acting as a vigilante in Gotham City, responding to people's complaints in public outlets. He was eventually stopped by Batman, even though his father, Mike, tried to protect him. After being caught, Lonnie was locked away in a juvenile detention center. However, during this period of incarceration, Lonnie operated as Moneyspider, a computer hacker. In this guise, he stole money from large corporations and channeled it to the third world where he believed it would do more good. This scheme was foiled by Tim Drake, on his first solo case prior to becoming Robin.

After several inmates from Arkham Asylum were released, Lonnie broke from the reformatory and resumed his Anarky persona to fight common crooks. However, after learning how bad the situation was, Anarky decided that Batman was indirectly responsible for the chaos in Gotham. As he started planning to take Batman down, the Scarecrow started a city-wide plan to spread fear. Anarky took it upon himself to bring down Batman and the Scarecrow. He almost succeeded on his plan, but he was dosed with Scarecrow's fear toxin and he was unable to capture them, although he saved one of Scarecrow's minions from a certain death. Anarky was then warned by Batman to never try to fight him again, but he was not taken back to the detention center.

Eventually, Anarky built a machine that allowed him to fuse both hemispheres of his brain, giving him increased intelligence, and what he perceived as enlightenment. Anarky eventually chose to shed the encumbrance of his double life, and faked his death. He then worked in seclusion to further his goal of achieving an utopian society. He had several further brushes with Batman, as well as the likes of Etrigan and Darkseid. Eventually, due to the earthquake in Gotham, Anarky relocated to a new base of operations beneath the Washington Monument.

Anarky has had run-ins with Green Arrow, the Justice League, Young Justice and Robin.

Lonnie was captured and held hostage by Ulysses Hadrian Armstrong aka the General, who took the mantle of Anarky to put psychotic and meaningless acts of chaos and destruction in the streets of Gotham.

Lonnie had been captured and held against his will by the General, who along with destroying the role Anarky had in Gotham and Washington, he also destroyed Lonnie so that he could never return to his role as the anarchist. The General had poisoned Lonnie and left him in a catatonic, paralyzed state. Connected to his only usable part of his body, his brain, Lonnie was reduced to speaking through a computer program and unable to breathe for himself.

Armstrong had apparently shot Machin in the head and poisoned his medical supplies which left him in his current state. Once found by Tim Drake, Moneyspider was saved from the new Anarky. While Moneyspider lay in a hospital bed being treated and attached to his computers he was again contacted by Tim Drake who revealed his identity to him as Red Robin and asked that Moneyspider be his "oracle" or sorts. Specifically he asked Lonnie to be a real "Moneyspider" to create an international web that will get him access to the ins and outs of criminal and corporate operations. This intrigued Machin and the two set off to conquer Red Robin's "list".

Re: Sidious' FASERIP Builds: Brainiac, Darkseid and a question...

Post by Goldar »

Yay! FASERIP! I remember it well!

Very nice write-ups, Sidious! Thank you for doing this format of the old MSH RPG! I had wanted to ask on here for a while now if anyone was familiar and wanted to do some characters.

Any plans to (re) do the Marvel characters, updating them from the now out-dated stats of the 1980's? Do you take requests? While most seemed good at that time, some seemed not quite right with tweeking needed, but by now, they all would need some updating.

So glad you did this thread!
