HISTORYAzazel claimed he was one of the oldest mutants, part of a group of demonic-looking mutants called the Neyaphem. He even claimed that he once battled Mephisto and others for the title of "Satan". The Neyaphem were banished by another group of mutants with angelic appearances, the Cheyarafim. Azazel seemed convinced that Angel (Warren Worthington III) was a modern version of that group.

Their leader, Azazel, was the only one who was able to breach the dimensional void for brief periods of time due to his teleportation powers. His only hope to return to Earth was by impregnating women, as his children were linked to his dimension. About twenty years ago, Azazel began mating with women who had strange appearances, at least with looks and abilities other women didn't have. He met Mystique in Germany, when she was married to a rich castle lord named Baron Christian Wagner. With Christian unable to give her children, Mystique was introduced to Azazel, whom Christian knew as a business partner. Mystique had secretly been taking lovers to produce an heir to Count Wagner. Mystique fell in love with Azazel, and although she was hesitant to betray Christian as she still loved him, she gave in to Azazel and they made love. Not much later, Mystique was pregnant with Nightcrawler; soon afterward, she killed Christian because he suspected her betrayal. She had gone looking for Azazel, but he was nowhere to be found. It was later known that Azazel was taking care of business involving the Cheyarafim, and had to leave, knowing that Mystique would find some way to live. However, she didn't have much time to formulate a plan, as the angry villagers soon found out about Christian's murder and came after her and the demonic-looking baby. In order to save her own life, she shape-shifted into one of the villagers and dropped Nightcrawler over the cliff, saying that she had pushed the woman off as well. With her own life saved, she ran away. Mystique was the only woman that Azazel sought to have relations with besides simple procreation.

Later, thinking Mystique to be dead, Azazel sired several dozen other children, who were all mysteriously called to gather and sacrifice themselves on the island known as the Isla Des Demonas to open a portal and bring his army to Earth, with the goal of destroying both the Cheyarafim and what Azazel called "Normal" mutants, mutants whose bodies did not show signs of their mutation, and who were not seen as monsters and demons. In addition to Nightcrawler, another son of Azazel's was the Genoshan called Abyss. The children of Azazel all joined each other in a zombie-like state and opened a portal to his dimension. A group of X-Men had followed Kurt to see where he was going, and jumped into the portal once it had opened. Once inside, Azazel took great pleasure in toying with the team, having them believe that he was actually Satan.

In the end, the X-Men defeated Azazel and his army and banished him to an unknown oblivion. The X-Men, including Nightcrawler, were able to escape, along with two other children of Azazel: Abyss and Kiwi Black.

Azazel's whereabouts were un-known for several years, but he resurfaced in this dimension, ac-companied by a few Azazel-like Bamfs, revealing himself to be the master of Calcabrina, former ally of Frankenstein's Monster, and banned from all realms of Hell.

Azazel was confronted by a shape-shifted Mystique (who he easily recognized), looking for his assistance with going to a realm of Hell to fight the newly resurrected demonic William Stryker with Weapon X-Force hiding in the back-ground. Sabretooth, seeing that he was just flirting and she wasn't get-ting anywhere, urged the rest of the team to come out of hiding and attack Azazel, to force him to transport them to the Hell Stryker resided in. Easily defeating the team, he then obliged their request once he remembered how Mystique sired a child with another man, Sabretooth, that wasn't him. He swiftly delivered a blow to Sabretooth, by slicing his head clean off with his sabre, sending him to the correct realm of Hell first, ruled by Marduk Kurios, then followed by the rest of the team.

With the whole team being sinners and killers designated for eternal damnation, he "killed" Weapon X-Force despite their potent regenerative healing factors. In reality, he was keeping their bodies in suspended animation through his teleportation power, freezing them in time and space, and allowing their souls to go to Hell. Since their bodies were frozen, their healing factors didn't kick in and revive them until after Azazel unfroze them when they were done in Hell.

Azazel was eventually welcomed to the new mutant island of Krakoa, created by Xavier, Magneto, and Moira X. He entered through the teleportation gateway alongside other villainous and fractious mutants, who had been invited to join the nation in order to heal mutantdom and start over as a whole species together.

HISTORY
Jean-Paul is the son of the previous Azrael cloned by the Order of St. Dumas at his father's request to be the next Azrael as his successor. His father installed "The System" a A.I. called Ascalon within his fetal state raised in a VAT. His father then saw what the order was going to do, resulting in action to take the young Jean-Paul with him, protecting his son while hiding him away from the Order as a family. But the Order sent their enforcers to eliminate his father for such an action and kidnap him to be raised by "Mother" as one of her children; whom would shape the young Jean-Paul into a living weapon, before being broken by the Order to be used as their Angel of Death; Azrael.

Jean-Paul was created by a woman known as "Mother", who was in charge of a massive operation with the Order of St. Dumas. Mother created the "Project Azrael" and sent Jean-Paul to serve as the Order's "Angel of Death" on the island of Santa Prisca. Azrael served for the Order, attacking black market technology dealers in order to steal their merchandise and return it to the island. This actions caught the attention of Red Robin and Red Hood, who went to Santa Prisca and located the Order's base of operations in Peña Duro. Soon, Bane joined and helped them infiltrate the former prison, but once inside they were confronted by Azrael. Bane and the others tried to stop Azrael, but using a flaming sword called Murasame and special gauntlets, Azrael subdued Bane. Red Robin and Red Hood managed to find enough information about the Order, Azrael and their connections to Mother, before Red Hood was forced to leave the prison carrying Red Robin with him after the latter tried to reason with Azrael, but was subdued the same way as Bane.

However, Azrael also learned of his unknown past and something changed in his mind, questioning himself and the Order of Saint Dumas. Later on, when Mother had control over the children on Earth, both Azrael and Agent 37 went after Mother in her Stronghold, but a Jet crash landed which was piloted by Azrael. Telling Agent 37 to join him on taking Mother's life or getting out of his way. Agent 37 then attempted to stop Azrael once he had learned when the Angel of Death would kill Mother for taking his life as a human being away, nothing more than a product produced and sold to the Order of St. Dumas. A fight sparked between the two upon confrontation, but Agent 37 told Azrael that if Azrael killed Mother; he would turn her into a martyr in the end toward all her followers. As Azrael would still follow her teachings, instead of being free from her lessons, which made the Angel of Death stop the battle and ask Agent 37 on how to live a different way. Reforming and by poetic justice Azrael took Mother's lifetime achievement of making children living weapons away before her ultimate demise.

Azrael started fighting crime in Gotham City after the events of Batman & Robin Eternal as a vigilante, but was attacked and beaten into a coma by The Colony which gave Bruce Wayne the inspiration needed to create a new team that would train vigilantes so that such an instance would not occur again. Batman later added Azrael to the team after the apparent death of Red Robin.

At some point during his time with Batman and his team Jean-Paul was visited by a dying Nomoz (a member of the Order) who told him that an extremist faction within the Order had staged a coup with the assistance of the A.I. Ascalon as their new Azrael. Batman and Zatanna were attacked by Ascalon soon after who was sent to assassinate a brother of the Order of St. Dumas. Jean-Paul then succumbed to his programming again after Ascalon reactivated it, resulting Azrael attacking Batwing, then fighting both Batwoman and Or-phan as he was trapped within his own mind by his programming. After a prolonged fight with the latter, he was knocked out by magic.

Batman and his allies couldn't defeat Ascalon without Jean-Paul, Lucas then found a solution as he created a new Batsuit for Jean-Paul. Which harbored a A.I. modeled after Batman. Which would allow access to his abilities like the Suit of Sorrows without being controlled, placed inside the Batsuit built by Batwing, the Azrael program was hailed in check by the Batman A.I. battling the Azrael programming inside enough for Jean-Paul to be in control and combat Ascalon.

The two then fought as Azrael explained that Ascalon was like him once, but he needed to open his mind not to be afraid of what the world held. Ascalon wouldn't heed him and severely bested him for a moment, before taking the life of Nomoz. Resulting in Jean-Paul to enter a frenzied berserk state which surprised both the A.I. inside his mind. Leaping onto Ascalon to unleash a barrage of blows onto the machine, before installing the Batman A.I. at the suggestion of Batwing into Ascalon's processor to eliminate the A.I. Which proved to be futile as Ascalon recovered quickly, displaying that the machine has spread to every device in Gotham. That he knew what this city wanted and harbored within; what was Batman willingly to do. But was contradicted by Zatanna who had the Geonosis Sphere; a Greek artifact which the machine Ascalon didn't know about. Then was given the Geonosis Sphere by Zatanna which gave the A.I. the answers to all its questions, seeing the error of its ways and teleported away from the scene, not before telling Batman that Red Robin lives.

Months after the collapse of the Colony a new voice entered Azrael's head. This new voice told Azrael to abandon the streets of Gotham and journey into the stars, specifically a place called the Ghost Sector.

Azrael soon discovered that two other heroes were experiencing these strange utterings- Cyborg (Vic Stone) and Starfire (Koriand'r). Convinced that these voices meant something, the trio stole the space-craft of Brainiac from the Hall of Justice and made their way into space.

The Ghost Sector was a collection of planets which were formerly imprisoned in bottles for unknown reasons by the people of Colu, but were freed by the Justice League. Upon re-entering reality, the worlds of the Ghost Sector became surrounded by a never-ending maelstrom that devastated multiple planets. This, coupled with the lawlessness of many worlds, prompted the Guardians of the Universe to quarantine the whole sector, allowing only members of the Green Lantern Corps in and out.

Immediately after entering the Ghost Sector, the trio were ordered to surrender by Jessica Cruz, one of Earth's Green Lanterns. However, when the maelstrom's radiation became too much for the Green Lantern, Starfire hauled her on board. Before any further action could be taken, the ship was attacked by a gigantic space organism which forced the ship to crash land on a nearby planet.

As the group filled Jessica in on what they were doing in the Ghost Sector they were greeted by a new presence- Darkseid, God of Evil and arch-nemesis of the Justice League. Darkseid told the trio that it was he who had lured them to the Ghost Sector. He explained that someone had wanted the knowledge of these worlds hidden because of the Old Gods they worshipped, which was why the Coluans had locked them away in bottles. He then went on to reveal that the Gods that the people worshipped were actually Starfire, Cyborg and Azrael.

Believing Darkseid was trying to deceive the group, Cyborg attacked his old enemy, prompting the others to join the fray. Not wanting a prolonged fight, Darkseid drew the heroes to a shrine in reverence to Starfire in order to prove his statement, and then vanished into the wind. The scene was grim, as countless followers of Starfire lay butchered on the temple floor, although what caused their death remained a mystery.

Very nice write-ups, Sidious! Thank you for doing this format of the old MSH RPG! I had wanted to ask on here for a while now if anyone was familiar and wanted to do some characters.

Any plans to (re) do the Marvel characters, updating them from the now out-dated stats of the 1980's? Do you take requests? While most seemed good at that time, some seemed not quite right with tweeking needed, but by now, they all would need some updating.

So glad you did this thread!
You're very welcome! :)
I may get into updating after I get this initial push over. Who did you have in mind?
And yes I do take requests.

HISTORY
His adoptive parents were mutants who had left Earth and traveled to the stars. They were eliminated by the Reavers of Arcturus, a military force devoted to the cause of eradicating all mutants. To their surprise Stakar had no obvious mutant traits, appearing baseline hu-man. He was adopted by a Reaver, named Ogord. Stakar was an intellectual and pursued studies in science and archaeology.

He and his adoptive sister Aleta accidentally revived the dormant Hawk God and were transformed by his powers. For a time, they were both trapped in the same body, alternating place with each other as the situation required. The two adoptive siblings have had a complex relationship, ranging from intense rivalry and hatred for each other to at times pursuing romantic relationship with each other. When the Hawk-God allowed them to split briefly, they had three children together - Tara, John and Sita. When they joined back together, Starhawk could not ignore his des-tiny to the stars and created a Earth-like home for his children on an asteroid. At all times, no matter who was in possession of the body, they could contact their children from anywhere.

The children were eventually captured by Ogord and used against Starhawk in retaliation for him not choosing to use his powers for the evil purposes of the Reavers. His mind controlled children siphoned nearly all of his life force, so when it came time to save them he did not have the energy to do so. Starhawk was unable to prevent the children's deaths, something Aleta would blame him for.

Starhawk first met the Guardians and the Defenders in a fight against the Badoon. He stayed with the Guardians when the teams parted ways. He has since been retconned to be the son of the Earth-691 versions of Quasar and Kismet. He is half-human and half of the same artificially created race as Adam Warlock. He was born on planet Vesper but was abducted shortly after birth. He was raised on planet Arcturus IV by adoptive parents and learned much later they were not his biological parents.

Starhawk and Aleta both became members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. In a battle with the Stark, they were attacked with a barrage of lasers while trying to change places with one another. Somehow this energy caused them to finally split, making them able to live their separate lives. But they were not meant to split so soon.

Slowly, Stakar began to grow opaque and transparent. In a misunderstanding, the Spirit of Vengeance further injured Stakar and he began to slip from existence. He attempted to fuse back together with Aleta, but she refused to let him. She would provide some of her light powers to keep him alive out of sympathy. He was confined on the Guardians' ship in a special encasement to prevent him from completely disappearing. Since Stakar began to slip away, the power of the One-Who-Knows began to belong to Aleta. Eventually, he would combine with her anyway, against her will, right as she was to defeat Malevolence and take the place as Matriarch of the Universal Church of Truth. For this, Starhawk was kicked out of the Guardians (just as Starhawk had told Martinex would happen).

With Aleta back in the Nether-Realm, Stakar attempted to convince her that it was the Hawk-God all along who tormented and controlled them both. This really was the Hawk-God himself, who was also trapped with them. He defeated and consumed Aleta and the Starhawk went through a metamorphosis. Transformed, both Stakar and Aleta were in command of a single body, existing simultaneously. This combined the powers of Aleta and Starhawk, making darkness constructs instead of light. The Hawk-God also took more control of Stakar, making him more devious and evil.

While Starhawk had been unanimously kicked out of the Guardians of the Galaxy, he was allowed to remain near the team because of Aleta's influence. Although they could no longer change bodies, Aleta could speak with her voice through their new body. They continually fought for control and Aleta still resisted her capture, being able to harm Starhawk from the inside.

The Dark Starhawk would convince the Guardians to rebel against Major Victory and go back in time to wipe out the Badoon before they could conquer the solar system and commit genocide. Going back in time, they arrived during the Infinity War and Stakar was forced to face multiple evil doppelgangers of himself. He pleaded for Aleta's assistance, but she refused. In order to survive, he granted her control of the body, although briefly.

The battle weakened Stakar greatly and when Aleta continued her internal assault he was forced to reveal the truth - it was him that tormented her all along, not the Hawk-God. In anger, she defeated him in his weakened state and reverted him back to an infant. Aleta took the place of Starhawk and Stakar was sent back to his infant body to start his life over once again.

But naturally, he would not be gone long, as Starhawk exists in multiple realities he would soon return. The existence of two Starhawks gained the attention of Eternity, who sent the Hawk-God to prove his worthiness and handle the situation. The Hawk-God chose to fuse their hands together and force them to work together.

They traveled back in time to undo damage to the time line caused by the Guardians leaving an Alpha Centaurian artifact in the past. On their way back, Aleta sensed danger to the Guardians and forced Stakar to follow. They arrived at a meeting of cosmic beings. Their presence infuriated the Hawk-God, but he did not kill them and instead showed some restraint and encased them in energy. He released them (although without the Starhawk power) when he and the other abstracts were forced to battle Protege.

Both were judged by the Hawk-God and Aleta chose to relinquish her Starhawk power. Stakar was given back his role as Starhawk and he was grateful, but he was left with the knowledge that his origin was not as he had thought it was and the mutants he was found with were not his parents. This lack of knowledge shook Starhawk to his core, giving no meaning to the vast amounts of information he possessed from his many lives. Without this basic knowledge of his own existence, he could have no inner peace.

In an effort to find this information, he sought out Hollywood, believing his long life to hold some insight. Hollywood directed him to the Silver Surfer, the current Protector of the Universe, who Starhawk found nearly dead from an attack by Galactus. Starhawk was able to revive the Surfer and wished to use his Quantum Bands to find the knowledge. Eon appeared and forbid it, attempting to revert Starhawk to a child again, much as Aleta did. But Starhawk's resolve was strong and he resisted. This action impressed Eon, who gave Starhawk the Quantum Bands and informed him of his true father - Quasar! But the Quantum Bands began to corrupt Starhawk and the Silver Surfer fought him to reclaim his bands.

After losing the bands, he still sought the location of his father's death, the Abrogate. He soon discovered that the Abrogate was a sentient being capable of reversing all energy. Starhawk was killed in the battle just as his father was. As Starhawk was a wearer of the Quantum Bands, he was sent to the White Room. But unlike the others there, Stakar had great power of his own and used them to escape the room and death itself.

He sought his mother Kismet and they soon learned the truth. Eon had stolen Starhawk on the day of his birth. But it was not really Eon at all, but his son Era who had been deviously impersonating his parent-age for centuries. He escaped the battle and Starhawk and Kismet went together to find and defeat him.

More recently, Starhawk and his team where forced to investigate a time-flux that had started to appear in the galaxy, causing many things to 'happen again', though with different outcomes. This caused the team to fight some battles that they already fought as well as not remembering certain events. It also caused Starhawk to change from gender at a certain point when time was reset again.

HISTORY
Count Luchino Nefaria was the descendant of a long line of Italian noblemen, and he inherited a vast fortune. Nefaria was also a man of unusual contradictions. He was conservative in many of his tastes and attitudes, and therefore dressed in the fashions Italian noblemen wore much earlier in the century. On the other hand, Nefaria was fascinated with technological advances, and throughout his life commissioned scientists to create inventions that were far in advance of contemporary science.

Nefaria also greatly valued his family tradition of utter respectability, yet his lust for even greater wealth and power led him to become a powerful figure in the Maggia, the notorious international crime syndicate which has its origins in southern Europe, but included no noblemen. As a young man, Nefaria quickly made himself a powerful force in the Maggia through the offering of large sums of money to established Maggiosi, the financing of major criminal operations for the Maggia in return for shares of power, the advanced weaponry his scientists devised for him, and his own immense talent for criminal strategy.

Count Nefaria wife Reneta died in childbirth. He sent his newborn daughter Giuletta to the US to be adopted by the Frost family in order to give her a 'good life', and partially because he had preferred a male heir instead. In their care she was given the identity "Whitney Frost".

The newly formed Avengers devoted much of their time to the capturing of Maggia criminals and causing the shutdown of many profitable Maggia criminal operations. Count Nefaria decided to deal with the Avengers himself. Having planned to move to America anyway, Nefaria had his ancestral castle in Italy disassembled stone by stone and re-assembled atop the New Jersey Palisades. He announced that he was opening the castle to the public and that profits from admission fees would be donated to charity. He invited the Avengers to the opening day ceremonies. Once the Avengers were inside the castle, however, Nefaria trapped them under so-called "time transcender beams" which, in effect, put them into suspended animation. Nefaria then created life-size hologram-like images of the Avengers which he could project over great distances, which he could cause to move like living humans, and through which he could project recreations of the real Avengers’ voices. Nefaria caused the images to publicly proclaim that the Avengers were going to seize control of the United States. As a result, the real Avengers, once they were set free, found themselves in conflict with the United States Army. The Avengers finally defeated Nefaria, who confessed his guilt in framing them. The Avengers were cleared and Nefaria was publicly exposed as a criminal and deported to Italy. Many of Nefaria’s criminal allies and employees deserted him and he was now no more than one among many Maggia "family" heads.

In retaliation, Nefaria then unsuccessfully attempted to destroy Iron Man. Months later, Nefaria tried to hold Washington DC to ransom, although he was defeated by the X-Men and Professor X.

He clashed with the X-Men again when he, together with the Ani-Men, took control of Valhalla Base and the Doomsmith computer. The Doomsmith was capable of launching the entire nuclear arsenal of the United States. The X-Men defeated the Ani-Men, but Nefaria escaped in a stolen Harrier Jump Jet. Thunderbird leaped onto the aircraft in an attempt to stop the Count but was killed when the plane exploded.

By now, Nefaria was virtually destitute. He decided he would have himself given superhuman powers greater than those of virtually any other human being. Nefaria formed the second Lethal Legion, consisting of the Living Laser, the original, criminal Power Man, and the Whirlwind. Nefaria then had Profally Klaus Sturdy, former chief assistant to Baron Heinrich Zemo, increase these three criminals’ powers for roughly an hour, and sent them to battle their old enemies, the Avengers.

But Sturdy and his assistants had also analyzed the cellular and genetic structure of the three superhumanly powerful criminals, and used their findings to duplicate their powers in Count Nefaria, but magnified a hundredfold. Once empowered, Nefaria mortally wounded Sturdy so that he could never give equal powers to someone else. But the dying Sturdy told Nefaria that his new powers were causing the Count to age at incredible speed, so that Nefaria would be dead in two days. (Actually, Sturdy was lying, and Nefaria lived beyond the two day limit.) Sturdy said that only he himself could control the aging process, but now he could not because he himself would be dead. Crazed with fear and rage, Nefaria attempted to destroy New York City, but was stopped and captured by the Avengers.

It was revealed the the power gain was killing him due to causing rapid aging. Treatments were found to restore him to normal, but Madame Masque distrusted the Avengers. She and the Ani-Men attacked them to free her father and gain revenge on Iron Man. In the process Nefaria's weakened form was crushed and appeared to have died.

He resurfaced as an ionic being seeking revenge against the Avengers. It seems that he received enough treatment so that his subordinates the Death Squad could eventually revive him. He revealed to Iron Man that he was now pure ionic energy but needed to drain others of their energy to maintain himself.

Captain America and Ka-Zar managed to capture the Count in the Savage Land while he was conducting experiments to create a race of ionic beings. He was still in a weakened state and was prevented from using a ship with a special cybernetic link to escape. It is unclear how he escaped but he claimed they could never hold him and it is likely that the Maggia came to free him.

Nefaria's new master plan was to bombard the Earth with ionic energy using an ionic bomb; the survivors would become ionic beings that he could control and drain at his leisure. He attacked and gained control of Wonder Man and Atlas to assist him. The combined efforts of the Avengers, Thunderbolts, and Madame Masque were barely able to stop him. He again appeared to have been killed when the ionic bomb went off and only Wonder Man and Atlas remained.

Nefaria was captured by S.H.I.E.L.D.. However, he was revealed to be in The Raft and subsequently freed along with a number of other super-powered criminals by Electro.

Years later, Nefaria was about to help the Hood, into getting new powers after he lost them during the Siege of Asgard. The New Avengers did not allow this to happen, as they attacked the Hood and Nefaria. Ms. Marvel fought Nefaria, and was able to keep her ground for some time, until Nefaria returned fire and beat her down. Wolverine entered the battle, slashing Nefaria's body and face several times, allowing Ms. Marvel to absorb all his power, thus rendering him unconscious. Nefaria was then taken by the Avengers, and placed in S.H.I.E.L.D. custody.

let's see, I started playing CMSH when I was 12.... started transferring them on to the computer at around 25.... I'd say on and off again for 32 years? The early 90's were easy, mostly just working out conversions from Mayfair to Marvel. 2000 were rough due to being a single dad, not much time for conversions. I did quite a bit on the CMF site (posted 12 scanned adventures and was a regular in the forums). Now I have time so I want to get some out there. :)

I know a bunch of these need updates and I want to do that, just want to get the initials out first before revisiting them. Also i abhor power creep so I'll be really strict on that.

- Something I'll say here, you might see more than a few Nazis in this thread. If there is one thing most gamers can agree on, whether you are a TT player, console gamer, computer gamer, rpg player, roll player, role player, et al, punching Nazis is just really fun. Plus I was a big Roy Thomas fan and he did some astounding work with the All-Stars and Invaders.

HISTORY
Baron Blitzkrieg was a frequent opponent of the heroic All-Star Squadron, a band of costumed adventurers who fought domestic and foreign menaces during World War II. Baron Blitzkrieg was originally an especially vicious German army officer who was blinded when a concentration camp prisoner threw acid into his face. (Steel was a prisoner in the camp at the time.)

German scientists experimented on Blitzkrieg, giving injections of experimental drugs, designed to siphon off the mind's vast energies. This allowed him full control, for brief periods, of his body's resources. At any given instant he could have superhuman strength, or be incredibly swift, or have the ability to fly.

Baron Blitzkrieg joined Alexander Luthor's Secret Society of Super-Villains. The Philadelphia heroine known as Liberty Belle, who got her powers from the Liberty Bell, attempted to jump start her abilities by ringing the bell. However, due to the recent supposed death of Uncle Sam, her powers were unfocused, and Blitzkrieg was thought to have been killed by the sonic shockwaves. However, he reappeared shortly thereafter, only to be killed by Superboy-Prime who fried the Baron's head with his heat vision.

- Baron Blood, the first Captain America comic I recall reading had him fighting this guy. Then at the end he decapitated him with his shield. IT WAS SO COOL! Now I had been a monster movie fan for a long time before then, watching the old black and white movies and such. But this was the first time I had seen them in comics! I was hooked. I devoured everything Marvel had on Tomb of Dracula and Werewolf By Night.

- Lord John is a typical vampire except he was also a Nazi. They experimented on him and gave him some resistance to sunlight and the ability to fly. This caused him to be unable to transform like other vampires to mist, bat or wolf form. But at least he got that.... cool?... costume out of it?

HISTORY
Lord John Falsworth was the youngest of two sons of Lord William Falsworth, one of the wealthiest members of the British aristocracy in late Victorian and Edwardian times. John left, embittered, when his older brother Montgomery inherited the title and the bulk of his estate upon William's death, shortly before World War I.

Eventually, Falsworth sought the castle Dracula in Romania in order to find and control the Dracula as a means for achieving immense wealth and power. However, Falsworth fell victim to Dracula's hypnotic powers and was turned into a vampire himself. Dracula bid Falsworth to return to England to wreak havoc upon the country that had repulsed him earlier (as detailed in Bram Stoker's 1897 novel) while Dracula himself fought Abraham van Helsing and other enemies.

Once World War I broke out, Falsworth, still intent on destroying England, offered his services to the German intelligence, who gave him the code-name Baron Blood. Falsworth adopted his costume to better instill terror in his victims. Falsworth became the German's greatest secret weapon in the final months of the war. He battled Freedom's Five, a group of costumed agents from Great Britain and her allies, but, although Blood was always defeated, he also managed to escape. He was finally found and fought by the costumed hero, the original Union Jack (and secretly Falsworth's elder brother Montgomery). Union Jack injured Falsworth with a silver weapon, causing him to flee England.

After World War I, Falsworth began studying occult arts and followed Adolf Hitler's rise to power. He understood Hitler and his Nazi party were similar to him.

Although Falsworth's activities remain largely unrevealed during this time, at some point he again offered his services to the emerging Nazi regime in Germany. German scientists performed painful experiments which enabled him to avoid his vulnerability to direct sunlight. During World War II, German intelligence once again sent Falsworth to England to continue a new reign of terror.

John Falsworth returned to the Falsworth family home posing as his own son to hide his identity. He was eventually confronted by his brother, who came out of retirement as Union Jack after Falsworth bit and nearly killed his daughter, Jacqueline (later, the heroine Spitfire). His brother, aided by the Allied heroes collectively known as the Invaders, discovered Blood's secret identity. In the ensuing battle, Falsworth was impaled when he fell on stalagmite that had traces of silver in it.

However, Falsworth was resurrected by superhuman Axis agents, and he joined their team, the Super-Axis, who soon were defeated by the Invaders. The complete history of Falsworth's activities at this time are unknown.

After the fall of the Reich, Falsworth escaped alongside Brain Drain on a ship. In the South China Sea they were attacked by the Avengers, but were teleported away by Geoffrey Sydenham before they could be captured and were offered positions in ICON. During a later battle with the Avengers, he was stabbed in the chest by a silver bladed wooden javelin by Kraven the Hunter. Though this didn't kill him, he was seemingly later destroyed by a woman via a wooden stake and, as a member of aristocracy, entombed in the Tower of London.

In recent years, Falsworth was resurrected by a mortal agent of Dracula known as Dr. Charles Cromwell. Cromwell fell under Falsworth's influence, who learned all he could of medical practice from Cromwell. Continued vampiric activity raised the nearby villager's suspicions, but were tricked by Falsworth into destroying Cromwell and his daughter as the vampires. Falsworth took Cromwell's identity. The police attributed the vampiric activities to a serial killer, but Falsworth's brother, a now-aged man, summoned his former ally, Captain America, to investigate his suspicions that Falsworth was behind it all.

Falsworth attacked his brother, posing as Cromwell, his brother's physician, but was defeated by Captain America. Falsworth's body was decapitated and burned separately, his ashes scattered in different areas, to ensure that Falsworth could never be revived again. After burying his brother, Lord Falsworth decided to stop fighting and died.

When the Montesi Formula was uttered, even Blood's ashes vanished, but the Montesi Formula has proved to be fallible.

After the Terrigen Mist hit the Earth, creating new Inhumans in the process, Baron Zemo reassembled Hydra to recruit these new superbeings to their cause. One of them, Lucas, had a toxin in his blood that was capable of sterilizing human beings. Zemo saw this as an opportunity to finally seize control of the world. He planned to infect every human on Earth with Lucas' blood, while all Hydra agents over the world wouldn't be affected by the infection as they had already received the cure.

As a contigency plan to spread Lucas' blood worldwide should everything go wrong, Zemo had Baron Blood resurrected and recruited to Hydra, promising to give him a domain after the leveling. The contigency plan was for Blood suck enough blood off Lucas and detonate himself in the atmosphere, releasing the infection upon the world.

The new Captain America Sam Wilson, with Nomad and Misty Knight's help, was able to thwart Hydra's plans, so Zemo ordered Blood to proceed with the contigency plan. Blood was followed by Redwing in Paris, France, and as soon as he realized it, bit and killed the bird. Then, after dealing with the new Cap, Blood went to the Earth Orbit, ready to self detonate, but was attacked again by Cap. Enraged, Blood spit Lucas' blood into Sam's mouth, infecting him with the sterilizing toxin. With his dream of having a family destroyed, Sam attacked Blood without mercy, knocking the vampire out. He took off the bombs on his body and left him floating in space to be recovered later by S.H.I.E.L.D.

HISTORY
Victor Strange was born in Nebraska to Eugene and Beverly Strange the youngest brother to Donna and Dr. Stephen Strange.

Two years after his mother's death, Strange's father, Eugene also fell ill. Stephen was unable to face any more tragedy and refused to visit Eugene's deathbed. A few days later, an outraged Victor confronted Stephen in his apartment over his apparent lack of grief. Following the confrontation, Victor rushed from the apartment and into the path of an oncoming car. Victor died, and a guilt-wracked Stephen placed Victor's body in cold storage, half-hoping that future breakthroughs could revive him.

When the Montesi Formula was undone by the Verses, Victor awoke as a vampire.

Marie Laveau forced Victor to deliver the Darkhold to her, she shot him with a golden Arrow of Eros to turn him into her love slave. During this time, Laveau named her new pet vampire, "Baron Blood" and had him wear a costume much like that of the original Baron Blood, John Falsworth. He decided to stay with his brother. Taking the guises of Baron Blood, he fed off of criminals. He, however, was freed from her control and helped his brother defeat her. He decided to stay with his brother agreeing to only feed on criminals. Also during this time Victor began a relationship with Morgana Blessing.

Vic helped take down Zom who broke into the Sanctum Sanctorum. Later he helped stop an invasion from the Mindless Ones.

Victor had a vision of being a vampire superhero until he found out the malcontents he kills come back as vampires.

Mephista took Doctor Strange and Khiron to the Mephisto's Realm, when Satannish appeared. Mephisto and Satannish fought, but tricks them yet again before several dimensions are destroyed.

Vic later took on the Cagliostro, the Endless One. With his supply of vampire blood low, Cagliostro realized there wasn't as much vampire's available after the reciting of the Montesi formula seemed to banish all vampires from Earth's dimension. Cagliostro returned to New York, in search of Victor, because he was the first vampire to walk the earth after the Montesi formula.

However, his cravings for blood began to overpower him. Morganna secretly obtained a stake. After a confrontation with Strange and Wong, Victor used the stake on himself, ending his existence.

- Kenneth Crichton had a colorful ancestry; his mother was the former super-heroine Spitfire, his uncle and grandfather both had both been Union Jack and his granduncle was the devious vampire known as Baron Blood. Both his mother and grandfather expected him to continue the legacy of Union Jack but Kenneth didn't consider it a viable option for him as he was physical weak and not very athletic. When Baron Blood returned to terrorize his family and the country, Crichton instead convinced his friend Joseph Chapman become the new Union Jack and aid Captain America in battling Baron Blood. The impression I get from this guy is he's a scrub. Seriously, nothing about him stands out as noteworthy.

HISTORY:
Despite his initial approval, Kenneth began to hate Joseph for having stolen the legacy of Union Jack which was rightfully his. Discovering he had a debilitating blood disorder, Kenneth found himself growing weaker and weaker and when offered eternal life from the vampire Baroness Blood, he jumped at the chance to feel rejuvenated.

Becoming a vampire himself, Kenneth decided to continue the legacy of his granduncle instead of his grandfather and he became the new Baron Blood. After battling with Union Jack, Kenneth was betrayed by Baroness Blood who left him to die in the sunlight. Crumbling to dust, Kenneth appeared to die as Union Jack swore he would avenge his friend.

Kenneth's death, as well as the rest of Baroness Blood's army, were in fact a sacrifice the Baroness had made in order to prove herself to the neo-Nazi Gotteskrieger and be accepted into the terrorist group Axis Mundi.

Before his death however it was revealed he fathered a child with Baroness Blood whom was named John after his granduncle, the original Baron Blood. The infant John Crichton unfortunately inherited his father's blood disease which meant that the child could only survive by drinking blood from it's direct family.

Years later, Kenneth's mother joined forces with Captain Britain and Pete Wisdom's MI:13 and one of their first missions took them to Birmingham where the team faced the demon Plokta who wished to grant people their fondest desires in exchange for their souls. Spitfire was attacked by Plokta who preyed on her desire to be reunited with her son, alive and healthy, and offered her a doorway to a world where Kenneth was alive and well again. Tempted, Spitfire was saved before she could possibly submit.

When the vampire hunter Blade accidentally recited a spell which restored all the dead vampires back to life, among them Kenneth Crichton. Allying with Dracula, Kenneth and the other vampires sought to make Britain into a kingdom of vampires.

Kenneth's part in the plan was to act as bait to draw his mother to Dracula. Despite Kenneth's insistence, Spitfire refused to reunite with him and join the vampires in their attack on Britain. However, Spitfire fell under the thrall of Dracula and was forced to aid the vampires in their conquest.

With Spitfire on side, Kenneth was thrilled to be with his mother again and united as vampires. Despite Spitfire's resistance, when she eventually gave into her vampire nature, Kenneth appeared overjoyed and excited by his mother's new vampiric personality.

However, when the vampire's plans fell apart, Kenneth fled from Dracula's forces and encountered MI:13 agents Blade and Union Jack. Kenneth surrounded and appealed to his friendship with Joseph to spare his life. Union Jack was willing to take Kenneth back to base with them and try and help him but Blade, on orders from Spitfire, staked Kenneth through the heart, killing him once more.
