HISTORY:
The being known as the second Hyperion was created by the alien Grandmaster to be a member of the Squadron Sinister. He was made to believe he was Zhib-Ran, an alien explorer from the planet Yttrium, which exploded when it was struck by energy from the first atom split on Earth. This explosion gave "Zhib-Ran" his powers. The Grandmaster "rescued" him from certain death. Hyperion decided that since Earth was responsible for the destruction of his homeworld, he must take vengeance there.

His first battles were as a member of the Squadron Sinister against the Avengers and later the Defenders. After the second match with the Defenders, Hyperion forgot his memories thanks to a magic spell from Doctor Strange. He took the name Mr. Kant, and moved to Queens in New York, where he managed a health club. The Avengers tracked him there, and upon seeing them, Hyperion regained his "memories" and attacked, although he was defeated.

Later, Hyperion was captured by Master Menace, a villain on an Earth of an alternate reality. Menace tricked him to fight against the Hyperion of that alternate reality, but he was returned after meeting defeat.

Eventually, Hyperion was contacted by the Roxxon Oil Corporation, and told he could be taken to an alternate Yttrium (which of course did not really exist, as there never was an Yttrium) if he brought the hero Thundra to Roxxon. He found her and delivered her, but she escaped to her native Earth of an alternate future, Amazonia. Hyperion tried to follow her, thereby becoming trapped in an interdimensional void. Master Menace retrieved him and promised to send him to Amazonia after working for him. Hyperion agreed and took the place of the heroic Hyperion and feigned amnesia. His teammate Power Princess tried to teach him what he had "forgotten." He fell in love with her, and proceeded to remove all obstacles to that love: he trapped Master Menace in another dimension (where the heroic Hyperion was also trapped), and killed Power Princess's husband. In need of comfort, she turned to the villainous Hyperion, and soon fell in love.

Meanwhile, the original Hyperion and Master Menace joined forces and returned to their Earth, where the two Hyperions fought to the death. Hyperion I was blinded, and beat his villainous counterpart with his fists, until he broke down the pseudo-organic matter that the body was made of. After a confession to Power Princess, Hyperion II died and his body liquefied.

CONTACTS: Weapon X (high), Binary, Spider (high), Gambit, Colossus, Vision, Hulk, Firestar, Storm (low)

HISTORY:
When the madman known as Hyperion decided to take control over the planet Earth by force, Earth's heroes and military forces opposed him. Hyperion, however, proved to be too much for any of them to handle, all hope began to dwindle as Humanity watched as their Heroes died fighting Hyperion one-on-one or in groups. Even Thor, Hercules and Galactus perished at the hands of this madman. When it was all said and done Hyperion stood triumphant over Humanity and proclaimed himself God-Emperor of Earth.

But his victory did not last long, deciding they would rather die than serve as Hyperion's slaves the leaders of men ignited a nuclear holocaust in the hope to kill Hyperion. Ironically, the nuclear holocaust ended up wiping out every living thing on the planet except for Hyperion, leaving him the God-Emperor of nothing more than a radioactive dustball. For years Hyperion remained all alone on the remains of his homeworld until one day fortune smiled upon him. A sixteen year-old version of Storm from Earth-23895 perished during an incident involving the Bruce Banner of another reality, needing a replacement the Timebreakers pulled Hyperion out of Earth-4023 and gave him Storm's spot on the dimension-hopping team of superhumans called Weapon X.

His first mission as a member of the team was to seek out the ten remaining Mutants on an Earth where Humanity had used Project: Wideawake to destroy it's Heroes, Mutant and Superhuman alike, though Hyperion had other concerns. Having become immediately attracted to him from the moment he had joined the team, Ms. Marvel practically threw herself at Hyperion. He started making love with her only seconds after fully realizing she was coming onto him. Following Hyperion and Ms. Marvel's romantic interlude, Hyperion discovered Kitty Pryde hiding in a closet. He tried to hide her away from Colossus but Kitty, who had mistaken the Weapon X Colossus for her Earth's version of him, phased through Hyperion and embraced him.

Hyperion was able to keep Colossus from killing Kitty, who was initially perplexed by Hyperion's actions until Hyperion told him what he had planned for this world. Instead of following the directives given to them by the Timebreakers, Hyperion and the others decided to take this Earth as their own, The Vision tried to oppose Hyperion's plans but was destroyed in the process.

Spider and Ms. Marvel almost immediately attached themselves to Hyperion and became his most faithful allies while Gambit and Colossus decided that it would be best just to follow his lead for now. Hyperion then set his plans into motion by taking out The Master Mold Computer Core which kept all of the Sentinels running and then proceeded to kill President Robert Kelly, Vice President Henry Peter Gyrich and General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross.

At the same time, the Magneto of this Earth was preparing to destroy it by dropping a massive asteroid directly onto it. When Forge discovered that there were still Mutants and Superhumans left on the planet Magneto and his Brotherhood (Wolverine, Mystique, Iceman and Rogue) went to inspect the situation with Magneto saying that they would be rude not to offer their genetic equals a chance at survival and that they needed more people to wait on them hand and foot. When Magneto and his subordinates reached the surface they came into direct conflict with Hyperion who they attempted to kill but failed miserably in the process.

Their attack against him cost Wolverine and Mystique their lives and when Magneto outright refused to stop the asteroid from crashing to Earth Hyperion made his head implode leaving him with the problem of stopping the asteroid himself. Hyperion along with Ms. Marvel and his two newest followers Rogue and Iceman regrouped with the rest of The Weapon X team at the sanctuary this world's Storm had constructed for herself and Vanisher as well as any other Mutants and Superhumans who rejected either Magneto or Charles Xavier's lies and were seeking refuge from The Sentinels.

There he came up with a plan to stop the asteroid by having Rogue duplicate his abilities so that together they could force the Asteroid from colliding with the planet. Though Storm was reluctant to trust Hyperion, Gambit eventually convinced her to go to Asteroid M with him and the others while Hyperion and Rogue dealt with the asteroid that was spiraling down towards Earth.

But it soon became clear to Hyperion that stopping the Asteroid would be an impossible task- its size was too much, even for him; he and Rogue tried burning it away with heat powers, but only succeeded in blasting off fragments that caused damage to Earth's surface. When Rogue began to feel Hyperion's powers fading she tried reaching out to get another boost but Hyperion refused to let her touch him and simply abandoned her, where she was burned alive by the flames that were blaring off the asteroid.

As expected the asteroid slammed into Earth and wiped out the entire planet. Kitty, knowing that Hyperion was going to kill all of the remaining mutants now that conquering Earth was superfluous, tried to get Colossus to teleport back down to Earth with her, hoping to hide in The Morlock Tunnels or The Mole Man's Underground Sanctuaries should they remain intact. But before they could reach a teleporter they were immediately confronted by Hyperion who entered Asteroid M through a hatch. Colossus tried to play stupid but Hyperion was easily able to see through his ruse.

Colossus, who had fallen in love with this world's Kitty Pryde, refused to let Hyperion kill her and tried taking him out, but Hyperion recovered from Colossus' attack quickly and with a single blast of his heat-vision powers Hyperion sent both Colossus and Kitty flying out into the vacuum of space. He then breached another wall, killed both Forge and Quicksilver and then both confronted his teammates along with the remaining Mutants Iceman, Vanisher and Storm. Hyperion declared that this world was a lost cause and that they were moving onto the next one.

While both Ms. Marvel and Spider were relieved, Gambit was horrified and when Spider fatally wounded Vanisher, he lashed out and turned against Hyperion and the others. Taking Vanisher with them, Gambit and Storm teleported to another part of Asteroid M before Hyperion or the others could cause them any harm. However Hyperion had other matters to deal with, shortly after bringing Iceman down two new Weapon X recruits, the Hulk and Firestar, appeared and told Hyperion that the Timebroker was displeased with his actions. Hyperion merely shrugged both them off and led Weapon X on a manhunt to find Gambit, Storm and Vanisher.

When they did Vanisher had already died from the wounds Spider had inflicted upon him. Storm had asked Gambit to end her life so that Hyperion would not have a chance to get his hands on her. Despite Gambit's reluctance to do so he granted her wish and by the time Hyperion and the rest of Weapon X found them Storm was dead. Hyperion congratulated Gambit for "coming to his senses", he then remarked how interesting this whole adventure had been and said that on the bright side there were still other worlds out there for them to conquer.

Following the first mission Hyperion and Weapon X continued making their way from one reality to the next; Hyperion attempted to conquer them with the help of Spider and Ms. Marvel and ultimately destroyed each world's heroes. Gambit, Hulk and Firestar simply tried to complete the missions so that they could get closer and closer to going home. Later Gambit began tricking Hyperion into completing the missions for them in order to speed up the process but Hyperion caught on and when Weapon X arrived on Earth-4400, immediately turned on Gambit and blasted his arm off in an attempt to take The Tallus for himself.

For the Hulk, harming Gambit was the last straw; he and Firestar both lashed out at Hyperion, Spider and Ms. Marvel in an attempt to bring them down and end this madness, but it was a futile effort. Hyperion proved to be too much for even The Hulk to handle and they were both swiftly defeated while Gambit crawled away from the fight and made his way into the sewers. This incident attracted the attention of Earth-4400's Heroes who tried to stop Hyperion's rampage. Unfortunately not even the mightiest of heroes were capable of bringing him down and in only a matter of hours all of the heroes in New York City were dead.

Some time later Hyperion destroyed all of the bridges leading into Manhattan Island and held everyone there hostage; on live television Hyperion made his demands known to U.S. President Norman Osborne and said that if they were not met soon he would kill 100 hostages. Hyperion's assault on New York began prompting responses from Superhumans and many World Leaders who were planning on invading America if they had to in order to stop Hyperion and if all else failed then it was agreed among many of these other nations like Russia, the U.K., North Korea, etc. that a Nuclear Strike would be in order.

It was then that the Timebroker decided one of the two teams would have to go. The Hyperion incident had spiral out of control for too long. Dispatching the The Exiles to Earth-4400, he pitted both teams against each other for survival. One team must be dismantled, and six people must die. It was also learned that neither team would be given any replacements until only the final six remained standing and the mission to dismantle one of the teams was over. Not wanting to be one of those who perished, the Magik of Earth-4210 betrayed the Exiles and attempted to join forces with Hyperion.

However he believed that, like Gambit, Illyana was only trying to use him and make a fool out of him. Enraged Hyperion began choking her. thinking that giving him helpful information would make him rethink her offer and spare her, Illyana told Hyperion about the new mission, but instead of being allowed to live Hyperion tested Illyana's "theory" on Illyana herself by snapping her neck and killing her. Hyperion then slaughtered the Hulk while Firestar died incinerating Spider when he tried to kill her on his own. Enraged by Illyana's death, the Exile known as Morph emerged from his hiding spot and attacked Hyperion with fellow Exiles member Mimic at his side. Hyperion easily made short work of Morph and then proceeded to fight Mimic who he nearly killed.

Mimic however was saved thanks to Nocturne who took over the body of Heather Hudson (who had been injured by Illyana) in her Sasquatch form and distracted Hyperion long enough for Blink and Gambit to make their grand entrances. The assault was nearly a complete failure however as neither Blink nor Gambit were strong enough to physically take down Hyperion on their own, but when Hyperion approached a fallen Blink and attempted to incinerate her using his heat-vision powers she used a teleportation crystal to redirect the beam into Hyperion's back. Hyperion collapsed to the ground and found that he was unable to move the lower half of his body.

Gambit then came up to Hyperion from behind with Illyana's magic sword in hand, told Blink to go, charged it up with as much power as he could muster and drove into Hyperion's back. The explosion that resulted from Hyperion's death not only wiped out Hyperion and Gambit but took Ms. Marvel with them as well leaving Hyperion and Weapon X as nothing more than a bad memory( or so it was originally thought.)

For months the Timebroker's mood, attitude and personality had shifted greatly and the nature of The Exiles' missions were getting more and more dangerous. When Holocaust, the son of Apocalypse, was forcibly recruited onto the team Holocaust was so furious that he put aside his old qualms with his enemies Blink and Sabretooth and told them how they might be able to find the Timebroker. Holocaust led the Exiles to a facility where a shard of The M'Kraan Crystal was being held and by tapping into its power Holocaust and The Exiles found themselves on a teleportation pad inside a massive crystal palace.

After searching around they discovered that the entire place was being run by a race of insectoids who would eventually come to be known as the Timebreakers, a race of insects who were being oppressed by the last person Blink ever thought she'd see again: Hyperion. A madman she saw literally explode when Gambit drove Illyana's sword into his back and die was alive once more and was in complete control over a facility that would allow him to influence events in any reality. In layman's terms, Hyperion had hit the jackpot by taking control of this place following his resurrection.

When Sabretooth and Holocaust inquired as to who Hyperion was, Blink explained to them what she could before Hyperion boldly proclaimed that soon every Planet Earth in every reality that ever existed would have to get used to calling him God. This sent Holocaust into a rage and he attacked Hyperion without mercy, but his attack barely affected Hyperion at all and when Hyperion retaliated he easily killed Holocaust and absorbed his lifeforce by snorting it up through his nose.

With Holocaust dead, Blink knew that they were going to be next and teleported them as far as away from Hyperion's current location so that they could regroup and come up with some sort of plan. Unfortunately, Hyperion was able to easily locate the Exiles wherever they went due to his intimate knowledge of The Crystal Palace's layout. But when Hyperion came to confront the Exiles in Desert Room where the original Exiles team had first been brought together Hyperion offered The Exiles a chance to conquer the Multiverse with him.

Hyperion tried appealing to the true desires of everyone other than Blink and Morph but the offer was rescinded when Morph tried tricking Hyperion into believing he was Namora and that she was turning on the Exiles. After striking Morph down with his heat vision powers, the true Namora attacked him which prompted a fight between the Exiles and Hyperion - a fight which left both Namora and Mimic in bad shape. Meanwhile, one of The Timebreaker Caste Drone Workers had freed the mutant known as Beak and told him that he was destined to defeat Hyperion.

Beak, who was nowhere near Hyperion's level of power, freaked. He knew there was not an ice cube's chance in Hell that he could possibly defeat Hyperion and then he stumbled upon view-screens that looked into other realities. So, while Hyperion continued pursuing The Exiles, Beak was traveling across the Multiverse seeking out allies strong enough to bring Hyperion down. Elsewhere Hyperion had further injured Mimic and soon found himself under attack from Namora who snapped his neck and dragged him into the bottom of the Sea Room where the original Weapon X team had been brought together.

Believing Hyperion to be dead, Namora began ranting about how the easy part of conquest was killing those who stood in your way but that the hard part was maintaining control. Hyperion, having awakened from his brief shock-induced coma, asked Namora if she ever had once in her life shut up. He then twisted his neck back around, popped it and incinerated Namora using his heat vision powers. The steam which erupted from the Sea Room burned Blink while she was trying to look for any sign of Namora. A figure soon emerged from the steam and when Blink asked if it was Namora, the figure revealed itself to be Hyperion.

With Mimic in no condition to fight and Blink herself still trying to recover from the steam burns, all hope seemed lost, until Beak appeared with the only two men in the Multiverse who might stop Hyperion: two alternate versions of himself. After exchanging words with his foes- the Earth-712 Hyperion and a blind version from Earth-5764- King Hyperion joined battle with them in a fight that shook the Crystal Palace to its very core.

For for all their power, it seemed that the combined might of two other Hyperions was not nearly enough to bring King Hyperion down. He threw them around with ease and while they did get a few good punches in he seemed to punch right back ten times harder and twenty times faster. Blink then came up with a plan that would hopefully not fail if executed correctly. After gathering the three Hyperions' attention, Blink teleported them to the Desert Room where she used a teleportation crystal to teleport half a ton of sand inside of King Hyperion's body, thus leaving him completely open to attack.

Mimic, who had been left with the Timebreakers and Beak in the Main Control Room, watched in horror as The Hyperions of Two Worlds beat King Hyperion to death; having sworn long ago that he'd never allow another life to be taken, Mimic used The Timebroker interface that had been used to conduct the missions to halt the battle between the three, leaving King Hyperion unconscious. He then proposed an alternate solution.

When King Hyperion regained consciousness, his right hand gone, he found that the Exiles, the Timebreakers and the Hyperions of two worlds had imprisoned him on the one place he never wished to return to: Earth-4023. While King Hyperion begged and pleaded for them not to leave him on Earth-4023, his pleas went unheard.

Seemingly escaping from his confinement, he made his way to Earth-616 and the nation of Uzbekistan where he began to rampage until confronted by the Winter Guard. Defeating the team, he then found himself face-to-face with Blue Marvel, and though briefly overpowering the newly-arrived hero, Blue Marvel gathered his strength and rallied at the sight of Hyperion threatening a small child. After saving the child, Blue Marvel defeated Hyperion.

Confined to the Raft, Hyperion was recruited into the Thunderbolts to help them defend Japan from an attack by giant monsters. Hyperion initially maintained the deception that he was a good Hyperion from an alternate universe with which the evil Hyperion had switched places. However, during the fight, Hyperion sabotaged the team, blowing Luke Cage and Mach-V into the mouth of one of the monsters, and knocking out Songbird while she was carrying an unconscious Moonstone, making them both fall into the ocean. Hyperion then used his atomic vision to cut Man-Thing in half. Hyperion took Songbird's comm-link and attempted to figure out how to use it to disable the power-controlling nanites the Raft had injected into him. Juggernaut rescued Moonstone and Songbird, then attacked Hyperion. During the fight, Ghost was able to recapture Songbird's comm-link and used it to activate the Thunderbolt's nanite countermeasure: a high dose of argonite radiation to the spine. Hyperion begged and pleaded for them to turn it off. Juggernaut and Moonstone viciously beat the helpless Hyperion, and the reformed Man-Thing burned Hyperion with his touch.

HISTORY:
The super-being that would become known as Hyperion came to Earth as a baby, sent as the only survivor of the race of Eternals from a dying world. A human named Father raised him under the name of Marcus Milton, teaching him the morals of society. As an adult he became the super hero known as Hyperion, and protected the world along a team of super humans known as the Squadron Supreme.

One day, his universe and another started colliding. While he was trying to prevent the destruction of his reality, he was left in the void his destroyed universe once occupied, as the only survivor, floating in nothingness.

But, the group of scientists known as A.I.M. from another universe managed to pull him to their reality. He spent most of his time in captivity, until he was freed by the Avengers, who offered him a place in their ranks.

His first mission as an Avenger was to rescue the captured members that were being held by Ex Nihilo, Abyss, and Aleph. After rescuing them he returned to Earth and accompanied the other Avengers to the areas hit by Ex Nihilo's Origin Bombs. During his trip to the Savage Land, he found the Children of the Sun, a race of evolved beings created from an Origin Bomb. He began spending a deal of his time caring for and educating them.

After the Avengers fell into S.H.I.E.L.D. authority and Steve Rogers tried to use them to hunt down the Illuminati, Hyperion left the team and dedicated to keep on teaching the Children of the Sun. At the request of Sunspot, Marcus joined da Costa's own Avengers team, in order to investigate the incursions.

Using A.I.M.'s resources, Sunspot managed to put into operation a machine capable of transporting individuals across the Multiverse, in hopes of finding the source of the decay of the Multiverse, and a group of them, the "Multiversal Avengers," embarked in said mission. Hyperion was among these heroes.

In their journey, the Multiversal Avengers arrived to the base of the Black Priests, whom they believed to be enemies, as they would destroy alternate Earths. After discovering their true motivation, that of saving the Multiverse, the Multiversal Avengers allied with the Black Priests, and were informed of the true enemies they had to face, the Ivory Kings and Rabum Alal. While the Black Priests tried to find Rabum Alal, the Multiversal Avengers would set out to find the Ivory Kings (also known as the Beyonders).

The Avengers traveled across numerous universes, navigating the map left by the Mapmakers. After one last jump across universes that cost Nightmask's life, the Avengers found themselves face to face with a fissure in time and space. From it, two Beyonders emerged and demanded the heroes to fall back. Upon denying their request, the Avengers faced the Beyonders. In an attempt to reprogram one of the Beyonders, Abyss and the Ex Nihili sacrificed themselves, and after being stabbed by the second Beyonder, Star Brand used his last breath to unleash the energy within him and destroy it. The only surviving Avengers, Odinson and Hyperion found themselves against an incoming wave of countless Beyonders, and faced their deaths with delight.

When Earth-616 came back into existence, so did Hyperion and the rest of the world. A few months after these events, he left the Avengers and joined the Squadron Supreme.[9] His first mission with the Squadron Supreme was to punish Namor for destroying Doctor Spectrum's world and cooperating with the Cabal as well as numerous attacks upon the surface world. During the attack, Hyperion yanked the city of Atlantis from the ocean, lifted it high into the air, and hurled it down utterly destroying it. Hyperion then decapitated Namor with his Atomic Vision. This called the attention of the public, who either thougt they were too dangerous or the only way to find real justice, as well as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s, specially Namor's long time allies, agent Jim Hammond, the original Human Torch, and Steve Rogers, formerly known as Captain America.

Later, tormented by his violent actions, Hyperion decided to take some time to himself, not letting any of his teammates know where he went. While in Lawton, Oklahoma, he entered a diner where he met a trucker named Juan. After a brief talk about how lost he felt, Hyperion seemed to take Juan's advice about living on the roads to help him understand things better to heart. Soon after, he received a signal from Nighthawk, who was about to have a confrontation with the Avengers Unity Division.

Arriving at the place, he was confronted by Steve Rogers, who claimed that he didn't believe that Hyperion could act the way he did from their time together as Avengers. Since talking wouldn't solve the problem, the two teams ended up fighting each other. While battling Human Torch, both were taken down by a fire blast from Jim Hammond, the other Human Torch, who arrived together with an army of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. However, before the Squadron Supreme could be captured, Thundra and Tyndall appeared to save them, teleporting the group to Weirdworld.

Once at Weirdworld, they were immediately attacked by Arkon, who was possessed by some individual. He striked a shocked and powerless Hyperion with a lightning bolt that pushed him off a cliff. Thundra later rescued him, after barely escaping from Arkon and Warrior Woman, who revealed to be a traitor posing as Power Princess and captured the rest of the team. Thundra and Hyperion, who survived the fall with only a few wounds even without his powers, wandered aimlessly for a moment until they were saved from a group of Magma Men by Skull the Slayer.

Skull explained that Doctor Druid was the one behind the mind control of all the inhabitants of Weirdworld. Doctor Spectrum, who was thought to be dead after exploding in light, revealed to be alive and aware of everything that happened while she was gone, reappearing in front of them. Actually her power prism was overloaded by the magic atmosphere of Weirdworld and needed to adapt, which was also the reason for Hyperion's sudden power loss. This motivated her to create an aura that would protect him from the magic around, granting a part of his powers back.

Recovered, Hyperion took another shot at fighting Arkon, this time with his powers restored. After Doctor Spectrum weakened the mind controlling crystal, Hyperion used his own strength as well as Arkon's to destroy the gem, shattering it to pieces and freeing everyone from Doctor Druid's spell. The Squadrom Supreme was greeted by the Weirdworld's people, as Hyperion seemed to be confused about his team's forceful tactics. Finally, they went back home, with Thundra accompanying them as a new member.

Hyperion then went on a few missions with the other members of the Squadron Supreme, following Nighthawk's investigations of an alien scheme being put in place on Earth. According to Doctor Spectrum, the team worked well despite of the members' lack of common characteristics and the fact that both Hyperion and Nighthawk assumed they were the leader. Between missions, Hyperion became a truck driver just like he planned to.

Upon his arrival at a diner on Fallon, Nevada, he met a waitress named Sally and her son from a strained previous relationship, Chris.

Taking some more time away from the Squadron Supreme, Hyperion struggled with his identity and morale, questioning his place on Earth at the same time. The fact that he murdered people because of his team's ideals still haunted him, who feared falling into obscurity.

While at a truck stop in Merkel, Nebraska, he was approached by a teenage girl named Doll, who was adamant about getting a ride with him in his truck. Reluctantly, he accepted to take her somewhere far from there. While Doll was asleep, Hyperion found a gun in her purse and threw it away, claiming that he was no longer so sure that violence was the only way to solve problems.

In the middle of the road, he was stopped by a broken down car to see if the driver needed any assistance; however, he was hit in the back of his head by a man that Doll recognized as Bennie, an employee of the Valentine County Carnival, the mobile group she was running from. After apparently being taken out, Hyperion attacked back using a tree branch as a bat to hit Bennie. While on the run, Doll explained to Marc that the people pursuing her were called "The Family", a team of individuals within the carnival that had special abilities.

As some members of the Family were getting closer to them, Doll asked Marc to do something other than driving away and revealed that she had been investigating him for a while after hearing some stories and knew that he was actually a hero. Marc; however, keep denying, much to Doll's dismay, who started thinking she got the wrong guy. When Connie, a contortionist, grabbed Doll through the window of the truck, Marc used his Atomic Vision to save her and fled from the road flying, thus revealing his identity as Hyperion. After placing Doll in a safe place, he returned to where he last saw the carnies and attacked them with a tractor-trailer.

Hyperion then engaged the fight with the carnies, but was defeated by Worm-Boy, and brought into the Haunted House as hostage. When Doll came to save him, she encountered a mysterious alien creature that had changed the carnies and tried to change her too, but she able was to resist it, after promising to free it from the Family. After recovering from injuries to his eyes, Hyperion then shot his Atomic Vision to the mirrors around him, all at once hurting his opponent. He then took Doll out of the Haunted House, while destroying the Carnival and killing Worm-Boy before they fled.

After he brought Doll to a safe place, Hyperion met with Thundra who was looking for him. Hyperion explained that he needed time to be alone. Thundra told him that there was someone who survived after he destroyed the Carnival. Hyperion suspected that it was Junior and felt he would come for Doll again. He and Thundra decided to team up to look for Junior and stop him once and for all. He found the Strongman, one of Junior's men, in a bar and asked him where his boss was. Strongman said that Junior had set up an army to get Doll back; meanwhile, Iron Man suddenly appeared at the motel where Hyperion and Doll were staying, and asked her where Hyperion was.

Iron Man met with Hyperion and asked him to be put on trial for crimes that had been committed by the Squadron Supreme. Hyperion replied by throwing him out of the motel and both of them engaged in a fight. Iron Man managed to hold off Hyperion's attack until Thundra appeared and helped him. After a brief argument they agreed to put aside their problems and Marc asked for Iron Man to bring Doll to a safe place when Junior and his army appeared. Hyperion destroyed Junior's army and then discarded the rest of his body into space so that even if he survived he wouldn't be a threat anymore.

After a superhuman civil war (which started due to Thanos' arrival on Earth) and a looming Chitauri invasion, the idea to build a Planetary Defense Shield came up, and, after it was built, Hyperion was asked by Monica Rambeau to test it alongside other superheroes.

When the Chitauri invasion arrived, heavy-hitter superheroes prepared to hold the line while Iron Man and Ironheart fixed the Planetary Defense Shield. Meanwhile, it was revealed the Shield's malfunctions were actually purposefully caused by Captain America, with superficial damage of Hydra's attack covering that up. Rogers activated the Shield, leaving Hyperion and the rest of the heroes on Earth's orbit exiled on the other side.

Funny. That doesn't look like he has CL 1000 invulnerability to cold. ;)

HISTORY:
The path of Bobby Drake of this universe seemingly followed the same of his Earth-616 counterpart until the day when Beast from an alternate future traveled to their universe in order to inform them they needed to return with him to the future. Bobby and the rest of the X-Men accompanied this Beast to the "future" where Cyclops had killed Charles Xavier and Jean Grey was dead (with the school named after her). Bobby was particularly disturbed to find that his future self had become so "lame." After the team confronted the "future Cyclops," the team (under Jean's leadership) decided they would stay until the problems in this time were resolved, before returning to their own.

After a conflict between Wolverine's X-Men and the future versions of the X-Men and Brotherhood at Cape Citadel, Kitty decided to quit Logan's school and take's herself and the younger X-Men to Cyclops' school instead.

Not long before the young X-Men left Cyclops' side, the young Jean Grey privately confronted Bobby, having read his mind and having discovered he was gay. Bobby initially refuted her claims angrily, mainly due to the invasion of privacy, but opened up to her and admitted that he was, even though he wondered why his adult-self didn't seem to be.[6] With Jean's assistance, Bobby later talked to adult Iceman, who came out to his younger self and explained that he hadn't before thinking it would complicate his life.

With the rise of anti-mutant hysteria following the death of adult Cyclops and the beginning of the M-Pox crisis, the time-displaced X-Men decided to part ways and lay low for a while. Bobby moved to Austin, Texas, a city so friendly of mutants that Bobby became an attraction, building ice statues in public. Months later, the time-displaced X-Men reunited (with the exception of Jean) and they were joined by Genesis, Oya and the new Wolverine on a road-trip across the country helping people whenever necessary. By this time Bobby had come out to the rest of his teammates.

Genesis and Oya later offered to act as wingmen to help Bobby get a date, and took him to a nightclub in Miami, Florida. After a disastrous attempt at flirting, Bobby ran into a young boy named Romeo when getting out of the club. Romeo turned out to be an Inhuman in the middle of a assignment for the Royal Inhuman Diplomatic Mission. Bobby and Romeo hit it off, and started dating some time later.

When different factions of mutants decided to assault New Attilan to take down major Inhuman players in order to destroy a Terrigen Cloud which was roaming the atmosphere and was close to dispering and making Earth uninhabitable for mutants, because the Terrigen Mists were the cause of the lethal M-Pox, Iceman decided to join the attack solely to find a means to locate Romeo. Once the X-Men penetrated New Attilan's defenses, Iceman slip away and went looking for Romeo. When Bobby found him, they shared their first kiss and escaped together from the conflict.

After discovering a way to travel through time, Beast assembled his time-displaced friends to show them an unfortunate side discovery. He had only managed to travel to the past within the timeline they were currently inhabiting and not their own, which led to them finding this timeline's young X-Men in the past they initially believed would be available for them to return. Now certain of their inability to return to their time, the young X-Men looked forward to the new future they could build, which was no longer tied to that of their present selves.

HISTORY:
Born Arnus on Terminia, he eventually joined the galactic council known as the “Cooperative”, where he was essentially a lawyer. After adjudicating a very disagreeable situation, involving the criminal Oblivion he took a vacation. On the interstellar pleasure cruise line however, the ship came under attack, and he was forced to crash land his already damaged pod on the nearest planet, Earth.

Arnus crash landed on earth in 1839 on a cotton plantation. His life pod recreated his body by duplicating the DNA of the nearest life form, a slave woman. As a human infant he learned the local language and the caste system of slavery based on skin tone. He grew to love his earth mother Miriam. Arnus later discovered he had superhuman powers and immortality. He used his powers secretly to lighten the load of his fellow slaves and aiding a resistance movement dedicated to freeing slaves known as the “underground railroad”. Here he bid his time in hopes that Earth’s technology would catch up to his own allowing his ship to be repaired. By the time he was fifteen. slavery was abolished and he took the last name “Freeman”, he also fought in the Civil war against Slavery.

Due to his mutated Terminan body, he has virtual immortality, which he has manged to keep from the public by assuming the identity of his “son” throughout the years. Following the War, he attended “Fist University” where he studied law and “passed the bar’ in several states, thus able to support himself. This allowed him to retrieve his pod.

During a time of great artistic renewal known as the Harlem renaissance, he met and fell in love with Estelle Jackson, and they later married. After the disappointment by the era’s unfulfilled promise they left the country, living as expatriates in France. During World War II he fought with the allies against Nazi Germany in hopes that the united front against racial segregation would lead to more racial unity in the Americas. After the War, he and his wife returned to America. Racism reappeared even more fervently than before, though in 1964 under Martin Luther King blacks gained “legal parity’ with their white brethren.

With his wife’s encouragement he increased his heroics though he never went public, this lead to rumors of a “mystery man”. During this time, they also realized their genetic incompatibility prevented them from having children. In 1977 his wife died of Cancer; This left him even more emotionally distant than before as he now lived only to return home. He blamed himself for her death since he knew his pod could have saved her if he had known how to fix it in time. He moved to Dakota, away from Harlem to escape the memories and pain of his wife’s passing.

He threw himself into his work and kept eyes on Alva Technologies’ which was very close to being able to repair his ship. His law firm grew to one of the most successful in the country. He became the personal lawyer to Corporate leaders, senators and the upper crust of American society. Under the guise of Augustus Freeman IV, he met Raquel Irvin who was one of a group of teens who were trying to rob him. In her he saw the same impartiality of his dead wife Estelle. This same girl would later convince him to don a costume and become “Icon”. He then became the dakotavers’ premier superhero, essentially their “superman”.

In recent years he battled the Justice League along with a newly reformed Shadow Cabinet. He is friends with Superman, and immune to Green Lantern prosecution thanks to his status as a Terminan mutate.

HISTORY:
Nathaniel Richards was born in the 30th century of Earth-6311 a reality where humanity never went into the dark ages. After centuries of advancement and warfare, peace was brought to the land by a time-traveler from Earth-616 named Nathaniel Richards. Because Richards brought peace to this war-torn future, he began known as the legendary benefactor. The Nathaniel Richards born to this reality is said to be a descendant of the Benefactor, although other records also indicate that he may also be a descendant of the Latverian monarch known as Dr. Doom. An inventive genius, by the age 16 Nathaniel had already made his first invention, his Growing Man stimuloid. Richards was bullied for years, but one day when he was being beat up by a bully named Morgan, destiny stepped in and changed the course of young Nathaniel's life forever. At that moment the fight was interrupted by Kang the Conqueror, Nathaniel's future self. Kang had stepped in at this very moment to prevent Morgan from cutting Nathaniel's throat, an injury that almost killed him and bankrupted his parents trying to treat. Kang then outfitted his younger self in Neuro-Kinetic armor and showed Nathaniel glimpses of his future where he was destined to become a time-travelling conqueror and his destiny to do battle with the heroic Avengers. Kang had hoped that his past self would begin on his destined path earlier than planned, however the young Richards was horrified by what he was destined to become and at-tacked his future self. Richards decided to renounce his destiny and used the time travelling capabilities in his armor to travel back in time and across dimensions to the modern age of Earth-616.

Knowing that Kang would follow him, young Nathaniel attempted to find the Avengers to protect him. However when he arrived at Avengers Mansion he found it in ruins and that the Avengers themselves had disbanded. Richards then attempted to get in touch with industrialist Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man of the Avengers. How-ever Richards found Stark hard to get in touch with directly due to his security details and body guards. Richards decided to take another route and broke into a Stark Industries facility and recovered the re-mains of the android Avenger known as the Vision. In downloading the Vision's memories Nathaniel hoped to find a means of contacting the Avengers. Instead he found a failsafe program created by the Vision to find the next generation of Avengers in the event that the group disbanded or was destroyed, all potential recruits had some kind of ties with Avengers history. From these files he recruited the super strong Eli Bradly, shape-shifter Teddy Altman, and mystic Billy Kaplan. They all took on the costumed identities of the Patriot (Bradley), Hulkling (Altman) and Asgardian (Kaplan). Nathaniel restructured his armor to resemble that of Iron Man, calling himself Iron Lad. The newly formed and unnamed group began training together in the ruins of Avengers Mansion. Deciding to go out on the town the group ended up stumbling upon a plot by the villain known as Electro who was blacking out of part of the city. The novice group proved no match for Electro, and had to abandon the fight in order to deal with a hotel that caught fire during the battle. The story was covered on the front page of the Daily Bugle with re-porter Kat Farrell calling them the "Young Avengers", a name that the group eventually adopted officially. Incidentally enough, due to their inability to stop Electro, the Young Avengers were partially responsible for his part in a massive break out of the Raft prison, which was the catalyst that brought together the so-called New Avengers.

The Young Avengers next attempted to stop a gang of criminals who were holding the Bishop family hostage during a wedding at St. Patrick's Cathedral. A rescue operation that they almost botched if not for the quick thinking of Kate Bishop. With the criminals subdued, the Young Avengers fled the scene before they could be arrested by the authorities and returned to the ruins of Avengers Mansion. There Iron Lad found ex-Avengers Captain America and Iron Man waiting for them as well as their ally Jessica Jones who demanded answers. As Nathaniel explained the events that brought him to the present day, his allies incidentally recruited both Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang daughter of the recently deceased Ant-Man. Iron Lad, Iron Man, Captain America and Jones were then drawn out-side when they heard Cassie Lang fall down after suddenly growing in size. While Cassie adopted the costumed guise of Stature, Iron Lad continued to explain his presence in the modern era and his intentions of forming the Young Avengers. Cap and Iron Man were firmly against the idea and attempted to convince the youths to disband when suddenly they were attacked by a Growing Man stimuloid. The group were able to defeat the creature when Iron Lad un-masked and revealed his identity, but this allowed the Growing Man to signal Kang and bring him to that era to collect his young self. Before Kang’s arrival, the Young Avengers were all tricked by Cap and Iron Man to undergo a "training session" and found themselves locked in the training room. The Young Avengers eventually broke free and arming themselves tried to take the fight to Kang, but were shocked to find that the Iron Lad's presence in the present was starting to alter history in a negative fashion. Still Iron Lad fought on until he was overpowered by Kang and his superior weaponry.

When Kang opened a portal to return his young self to his proper time, thus reversing the effects on history - an potentially erasing the formation of the Young Avengers from history - Stature intervened, having developed feelings for Iron Lad, she knocked Kang through the portal alone. Safe once again, Iron Lad shared a kiss with Cassie. However this did not change things and Nathaniel soon had to face the reality that in order to save the pre-sent day he would need to return to his own era and follow his destiny to become Kang the Conqueror. When Kang returned to take Nathaniel back to the future, he re-moved his Iron Lad armor, and programmed it into a new version of the Vision, one with Nathaniel and the original Vision's memories. While Kang was otherwise distracted battling the Young Avengers, young Nathaniel sneaked up behind his future self and seemingly slew Kang with a sword through the chest. With Kang dead and history still in flux, risking to erase the Young Avengers from history, Nathaniel decided to do the only thing left for him to do: return home. Having the Vision open a time portal, Nathaniel did just that and his departure from the modern era caused history to return to its normal course. However, the Young Avengers endured and continued operating as team, even though their elders often disapproved of their continued operation. It seemed for a while that young Nathaniel Richards was going to pursue his destiny to be-come Kang, while monitoring the progress of the Young Avengers.

However young Nathaniel began to study the Timestream and learned ways to travel it without affecting history and sought to un-do the work of his future self Kang the Conqueror, Nathaniel resumed his guise of Iron Lad and began travelling to alternate universes and timelines to undo the damage he had done there. Arriving on the planet Moord on Earth-11051 Iron Lad was too late to stop that realities counterpart of Kang from committing mass genocide on the Badoon race. Iron Lad was shocked to find that this version of Kang was a member of that realities Avengers, which consisted of adult members of the former Young Avengers. Iron Lad learned that the group had taken hard line tactics and had been using the time stream as their means of travel to avoid being shut down by the original Avengers. They explained that the catalyst that started this future was when the Avengers of the modern era killed both Billy Kaplan (now calling himself Wiccan) and his mother the Scarlet Witch. Horrified to learn this, Iron Lad then entered the time stream and headed back to the modern era of Earth-616 to see what he could do to prevent this supposed tragedy from occurring. Iron Lad was completely unaware that that reality's Avengers had lied to him about the fate of Wiccan in the hopes of manipulating Kang's younger self to follow his destiny.

Iron Lad reappeared in the modern era in Latveria, where a battle over the Scarlet Witch and Wiccan was being fought between the Young Avengers, the Avengers, Magneto and Dr. Doom. When the mutant hero Wolverine attempted to kill the Scarlet Witch to prevent her from being a threat again, Iron Lad blasted him out of the way. Iron Lad then came to the aid of Stature, who was happy that he had returned, however this caused is-sue with the Vision -- who thanks to the fact that he shared Iron Lad's memories also had feelings for Cassie. When it appeared that those after the Scarlet Witch would not give them a moments rest, Iron Lad teleported himself, the Young Avengers, and the Scarlet Witch into the timestream where they began to try and learn how to win the day. With the Scarlet Witch being unable to remember her past or use her powers she suggested they take her to the day she went insane and attacked the Avengers. The shock of seeing the reanimated corpse of Jack of Hearts about to explode caused the Witch's memories and powers to return and she instinctively brought them all back to the present, taking Ant-Man with them, saving his life in the process. With the Scarlet Witch back to normal, Iron Lad and his comrades began working with her to try and reverse the devastation she caused on M-Day. However soon the X-Men arrived at the Mansion to seek retribution against the Witch. With the help of X-Factor the Young Avengers defended the Witch, but eventually they fled back to Latveria where they learned that the Witch gained her powers by tapping the Lifeforce. In attempting to do so again however, they succeeded in empowering Dr. Doom with it instead. With Doom attempting to use his power to control the world, Iron Lad and his comrades joined the Avengers and the X-Men in opposing him. Doom was ultimate-ly defeated and the connection between him and the Lifeforce severed, but it was at the cost of Stature's life. Iron Lad then decided to try and take Cassie into the future in the hopes that future science could bring her back to life, but the Avengers refused. Furious at them, as well as the Vision's mimicking his love of Stature, Nathaniel destroyed the robot. When those gathered questioned if Iron Lad was beginning his path to be-come like Kang the Conqueror, Richards told them that he intended to become "better" than Kang and disappeared into the time stream once again.

Iron Lad eventually ended up working with two of his future selves, both Kang and Immortus at a point in time and space called the "end of the road" to await the arrival of the "last Avenger". This came in the form of Captain America who was being hurtled forward through time thanks to the damaged Time Gem. He was rescued from the fractured time stream by Iron Lad after surviving an experience some 51,028 years in the future. Iron Lad then brought Cap before Kang and Immortus. When the Time Gem reappeared the three time travelers trapped it in a bottle of "No-Time" to prevent it from functioning and sending Cap through time yet again. They explained to Cap that the current crisis threatening to destroy the Multiverse was des-tined to fail if they allowed Cap to continue going forward, Iron Lad's future selves having already lived this moment. However Cap re-fused to stand back and do nothing when lives were in danger and broke the Time Gem free, and was transported back to his own era before the three incarnations of Iron Lad could stop him.

Eventually, Iron Lad would return to his destiny and follow the path that he was intended to follow. The exact events leading to that moment are as yet unrevealed. How-ever, Nathaniel Richards would soon turn to the dark side, becoming Kid Immortus. Becoming an adult he later went on to become Egyptian pharaoh Rama-Tut, the Dr. Doom inspired dictator the Scarlet Centurion, the 40th Century ruler Kang the Conqueror and later still the guardian of time known as Immortus.

HISTORY: In 1894, the scientist Abednego Danner injected his pregnant wife with an experimental serum. Their son Hugo was born with super-human strength, speed, and nigh-invulnerability. Hugo lived with his parents throughout his teen years and left at age eighteen to attend college and travel the world. In the years that followed, Hugo's special powers led him through a number of adventures, but his unique stature among mortal men forever brought him grief. Eventually, Hugo staged his own death in the Yucatan Peninsula and went into hiding.

Before vanishing, however, Hugo returned home to Colorado once more and enjoyed a one-night affair with his high school sweetheart, Anna Blake, who became pregnant. When Hugo disappeared for good, Blake married a young businessman named John Munro, who never realized the child she bore was not his own. Their son, Arnold, began exhibiting superhuman powers of strength and invulnerability at age ten. Remembering Hugo's troubles, Anna made her son promise to keep his abilities a secret until he turned eighteen.

As a baseball player at his high school in Indian Creek, Colorado, Munro earned the nickname "Iron." He was a senior there when, in April 1942, Munro saved the superheroes T.N.T. and Dan the Dyna-Mite from a burning car crash. T.N.T. died but he managed to bring Dyna-Mite to a nearby hospital. Subsequently, Munro and other new "Young All-Stars" aided the All-Star Squadron in defeating Axis Amerika. President Roosevelt asked Munro and the others to join the Squadron, about which Munro was reluctant, but he accompanied them on a cross-country War Bond promotion. Soon thereafter, Arn received a mysterious diary written by Hugo Danner, his father. He learned about his father's troubled life as one of the 20th century's first metahumans. This led the young hero on a quest to learn of his father's fate.

After having read his father's diary, Arn turned to the government's secret Project M, demanding to know the location of the "Dinosaur Island" mentioned in his father's diary. There he met Georgia Challenger, who led him instead to Maple White Land in South America. Surprisingly they found Arn's father, Hugo Danner, who had spawned a new band of "offspring," the Sons of Dawn. Danner used his father's formula to bestow powers on these Sons of Dawn and mentioned that the creators of the villain Übermensch had also stolen that formula.

Arn was forced to oppose his father when Danner ordered the Sons of Dawn to attack Rioguay. The combined might of the All-Star Squadron defeated the Sons of Dawn and Danner was killed.

During the War, Iron Munro also met his future wife, the Young All-Star known as the Phantom Lady, Sandra Knight. Before the two of them were married, Sandra conceived a child (which she never revealed to him). She confided only in the Atom, Al Pratt, who helped her give the child up for adoption. The hospital mistakenly listed Al as the father on the child's birth certificate. The child was named Walter Pratt and later became the father of Kate Spencer.

After the war, both Arn and Sandra started working for the U.S. Government as members of the O.S.S. off-shoot called Argent. Arn took the code name "Gladiator One." The couple eventually married and on numerous missions came up against his WWII Nazi nemesis, Baron Blitzkrieg (calling himself simply The Baron and working for the Soviets). When the couple bore a second child, it was kidnapped by the Baron when Sandra was on a mission in Communist Poland. The child was (and still is) assumed killed at the time.

The couple gradually grew apart and sometime in the 1960s, Phantom Lady disappeared while on a cover mission for Argent. Though Munro later discovered she was alive, the two were never reunited.

Munro settled in Florida with his friend, Roy Lincoln (the Human Bomb). There he eventually met the young hero Damage. Munro helped Emerson search for the identity of his biological parents. For a time, it appeared that Grant might be Arn and Sandra's lost child. Eventually they learned that Damage was actually the son of the Atom, Al Pratt, and his wife.

Iron Munro continues to serve as an adventurer and apparently benefits from extended youth. During the massive war between Imperiex and Brainiac 13, the Justice Society's Sand recruited an army of All-Stars, which Arn joined. Afterwards, he joined the Human Bomb and Damage in the Freedom Fighters. This group was doomed and Arn lost his good friend Roy when several of the F.F. were slaughtered by the Society.

Sandra Knight also learned the fate of the child she gave up for adoption, Walter Pratt. Pratt became a homicidal maniac. His daughter, Katherine Spencer had now become the Los Angeles vigilante Manhunter. Pratt died when he was cut in half midstream in teleportation. Sandra met Kate Spencer, and months later brought Arn to Kate's house for an introduction.

Munro later became a founding member of Superman's new team, the Supermen of America.

CONTACTS: Montana Gold, X-men, Avengers, Jarvis

HISTORY: When young Zane Yama was bullied by school bully Miller Hallendale, he discovered that he had inherited the powers of his father, the unstoppable Juggernaut, a reformed hero and member of the X-Men. J2 lived most of his younger life without the guidance of his father, who had gone missing on a mission with the X-Men.

His father's powers, received from the mystical Ruby of Cyttorak, transformed their wielder into a large behemoth with enchanted armor, granting amongst other things, super-strength and enhanced endurance. It was through an act of will that Zane could transform himself into a similar appearance, with armor which he had to fashion himself, also granting him super-strength and heightened endurance. A constant trademark of his costume was his father's flannel shirt tied around his waist.

Calling himself J2, Zane was offered membership to the group called A-Next, themselves also children of heroes, notably, the Avengers. Although J2 was also offered membership with a group known as the Uncanny X-People, led by an older Jubilee, he turned them down, albeit remaining friends with the team and assisting them on a few occasions. Similarly, Magneta, the self-styled mistress of magnetism, offered J2 a spot among the new villainous group she was forming, but she was also turned down.

J2 later learned of the reason behind his father's disappearance from Cyclops, leader of the X-Men. Juggernaut was being held prisoner by a villain called Nemesus in an alternate dimension. Thanks to the Sorcerer Supreme Doc Magus, J2 was able to locate his father and then rescue him.

Later announcing his retirement, Juggernaut was content to let J2 to carry on his legacy, having proven himself worthy of the powers he wielded.
