CONTACTS: Teen Titans

HISTORY:
The origin others know: there are two different races of Martians, distinguished by their differing world-views. The Green Martians are peaceful philosophers, while the White Martians are vicious warriors.

When the White Martians began massacring their Green cousins, M'gann's parents sent her on a rocket to the Vega system to escape the civil war. M'gann learned that another Green Martian refugee, J'onn J'onzz, had escaped the White Martian tyranny, establishing himself on Earth, and came to Earth herself.

While almost correct, this leaves out at least one significant detail, M'gann's true form is that of a White Martian, creatures believed to live only for war and conquest. Questioned on whether or not she was actually a White Martian, M'gann said it was a "long story".

Whatever her true origins might be, M'gann eventually came to Earth along with her parents. Details of this period are sketchy, but it is known that M'gann's parents, along with dozens of other White Martians, were captured by the United States government, many of whom, including M'gann's parents were subsequently executed. After separating from her parents, M'gann adopted two new names during her time on this world: "Megan Morse", the English transliteration of her Martian name, and "Miss Martian", her chosen superhero identity.

Shortly after the Infinite Crisis, Megan met the Teen Titans. She joined the team during a rocky interim period and shared a room with the reformed villain Ravager.

Her initial stint with the Titans was brief, however. One day, she watched an episode of The Three Stooges, and decided to imitate their vaudeville antics by throwing a pie into Ravager's face. Ravager failed to appreciate Megan's attempt at humor and began calling her names. Hyper-sensitized to the thoughts of other people, Megan fled in tears and quit the team.

Nearly a year later, the Teen Titans discovered that Megan had relocated to Australia, basing herself in the Tanami Desert. She liked the arid terrain because it reminded her of her Martian homeworld. The Titans approached Megan in the city of Brisbane shortly after she apprehended an armored villain known as Gunshot. The Titans' leader, Robin, asked Megan's help in locating one of their missing teammates – Raven. Megan admitted to having recently met with Raven, who had asked her to use her telepathy to scan the minds of former Titans in search of a "secret". Megan refused however, as reading the minds of "good people" violated her personal code of ethics. She did not reveal Raven's location, but instead directed Robin's team towards another neophyte hero – Bombshell.

Soon after the Titans had left however, Megan violated her own rules, scanning the minds of a number of former Titans. Having scanned Bombshell's mind, she discovered that the neophyte hero was actually a mercenary in search of a computer disk, which housed the life essence of a deceased Titan named Jericho. Megan tried to warn the Titans, but Bombshell attacked her with an incendiary device, revealing her true White Martian heritage to the other Titans. Regardless, she proved to be a valuable asset to the team, and aided them in bringing Bombshell down. Following the incident, Cyborg declared that she was once again a member of the Teen Titans.

Cyborg later brought Megan to Belle Reve in the hopes that she would use her telepathy to interrogate the imprisoned Bombshell. Megan was reluctant to use her powers in such an invasive way, but agreed to the task nonetheless. Her interrogation was interrupted, however, by the arrival of Titans East. During the battle, Megan became the object of torture for Titans East members Sun Girl and Inertia, the former of whom claimed that Megan was her personal slave in the future she was from.

Following the Titans East debacle, Megan and the other Titans found themselves involved in the Amazon attack on Washington D.C. While her teammates attempted to reign in an angry Wonder Girl, Megan engaged in battle with Wonder Girl's best friend, Supergirl. She later fought with Artemis and saved Wonder Girl's mother Helena from being gunned down by overly ambitious soldiers.

Shortly thereafter, Megan encountered her future counterpart - an older, evil version of Miss Martian who embraced her more predatory White Martian instincts. Calling herself the "Martian Manhunter", the older Megan was a member of the so-called "Titans Tomorrow".

After a protracted battle with her future self, trace elements of the Martian Manhunter's personality merged with that of M'gann's own persona. She began to develop a condition akin to multiple personality disorder, and frequently found herself warring with her older, darker self. The alternate personality began assuming control of M'gann's body and performing actions independent of M'gann's will. She even forged legal documents establishing that "Megan Morse" was a legal citizen of the State of Arizona. As Megan Morse, Miss Martian began attending classes at Wolfman and Perez High School.

Soon after, Megan and her fellow teammate Kid Devil were abducted by the Terror Titans and taken to the Dark Side Club in Manhattan. Though Kid Devil was manipulated into participating in trials of combat, Miss Martian used her telepathy to try to free the minds of other brainwashed prisoners. After being freed, Megan helped Kid Devil to shake off the lingering effects of being brainwashed.

Megan still suffered great difficulty coming to terms with embodying the personality of her future-self. As such, she decided to leave the Teen Titans in order to concentrate on her emotional and physical shortcomings.

She spent a great deal of time infiltrating the Dark Side Club, posing as a new incarnation of the Star-Spangled Kid. She won the tournament, and used her psychic abilities to overpower many of the young heroes' indoctrination at the hands of Clock King. Under her leadership, the freed heroes overthrew both the club's resident staff, and the Terror Titans, who had been attempting to start a brainwashed metahuman army.

During Final Crisis, Megan was seen aiding Checkmate in their efforts to psychically purge the Anti-Life Equation from the collective consciousness of humanity.

Following the Final Crisis and the infiltration of the Dark Side Club, M'gann returned to the Teen Titans as a full-time member.

As a favor to Tim Drake, M'gann posed for him in a public speech that the assassin Scarab was going to attack. She was shot through the lower torso and taken to the hospital as "Tim Drake," where they swapped, allowing Tim to pose as wounded and M'gann to return unhurt to her normal form.

M'gann later decided to take a leave of absence from the Teen Titans and returned to her base in the desert to rest. There, she was assaulted by a mentally unstable, female Green Martian. Left for dead, she was saved at the last moment by the Martian Manhunter.

CONTACTS: Helix (high); Infinity Inc. (high)

HISTORY:
Dr. Benjamin Love, a gynecologist, injected six pregnant women with an experimental mutagenic drug. Each of the women gave birth to a metahuman child. Dr. Love kidnapped the infants and raised them himself, never allowing them to leave the house. The children learned all they knew from books, radio, and television. After the supposed death of Dr. Love, the six young adults learned the true story of their origin from reading Love's diary. Taking their cue from the superheroes they had watched on television, the six created costumes to go with the names Doctor Love had given them and called their group Helix.

The team kidnapped the Infinitor Fury in an attempt to extort money. Although they were defeated by Fury's teammates, Infinity, Inc., Helix managed to escape. Later, the second Wildcat (Yolanda Montez) learned that she was in fact a cousin of Helix's new member, Carcharo, and that they are both products of the same genetic experiments as Helix. The two teams battled to a stalemate and Mr. Bones was arrested while the others escaped.

Carcharo soon turned on the Helix and kidnapped Mr. Bones. In the ensuing struggle Carcharo bit Bones' leg off, and then died from cyanide poisoning. To make sure Bones got medical care, Helix turned themselves in to the authorities. Later, Mr. Bones was freed from prison by Dr. Love. Mr. Bones received an artificial leg and Dr. Beth Chapel (Doctor Mid-Nite) helped him recover from his injuries, and the two formed a friendly relationship.

Since they were minors, an informal court hearing was held to determine the fate of the members of Helix. It was found that Mr. Bones had too much of a negative influence on them. Infinity, Inc. was given custody of Bones while the rest of the Helix would receive treatment.

For most of his time with Infinity, Inc. Mr. Bones was not a member of the team even though he took an active part in their adventures and became a hero in his own right, and was eventually accepted by most of the Infinitors. During the wedding of Hector and Lyta Hall, Harlequin (Marcie Cooper) used deception to have Bones and Skyman meet at Solomon Grundy's room.

She then deceived Solomon Grundy into grabbing Bones' arm and using him to kill Skyman with his cyanide touch. Upset, Bones left Infinity, Inc. When Dr. Love gained control of Helix and ordered them to kill Bones, Helix instead turned on Love, killing him. Helix then left in disgust, telling Bones he was no longer one of them. The Infinitors, though, granted Bones full membership in the team, but Bones would end up being instrumental in their disbanding.

At some point after Infinity, Inc. disbanded, Mr. Bones became Director of a local branch of the U.S. Department of Extra-normal Operations (D.E.O.), and as a D.E.O., Director Bones has had numerous interactions with the operations of the superhuman community. He has at times asked various DCU teams for their covert assistance. Mr. Bones is a supporting character in Manhunter.

CONTACTS: Lord Emp; Kherubim Homeworld; Savant; WildCATS

HISTORY:
Mr. Majestic, born Majestros on the planet Khera, was a Kherubim warlord. He has two children, Kenesha (Savant) and Majestrate. Kenesha was born out of a union with Majestros and Lady Zannah (Zealot) on Khera. However Zannah could not stay a warrior if she became a mother. Thusly Zannah gave Kenesha to her mother to raise, allowing Majestros to believe Kenesha was Zannah's sister, rather than his own daughter.

Majestic became trapped on Earth with three other Kherubim lords during the Kherubim/Daemonite war. His son Majestrate also made the journey. Majestic would spend the next several centuries fighting for justice, and allied with Maximum Man and The High, creating the superhero team The Big Three during World War Two. He ends up joining the government-sponsored Team One during the Cold War. While the team was fighting Lord Helspont and the Cabal, Majestros is forced to kill his friend and fellow Kheran Yon Kohl (also known as John Colt). Demoralized, he seeks solace in the Arctic. He only returns to the civilized world when Savant (Kenesha) asks him to help Zealot in her battle with Tapestry.

During his tenure as leader of the WildC.A.T.s, Majestic leads his team in a completely new direction, brutally punishing criminals both superhuman and non-superhuman alike. These actions are influenced by his team-mate T.A.O., AKA 'Tactically Augmented Organism'.

TAO is eventually discovered and his plans to escape devastate the team. Savant herself is critically wounded when she is tricked into stepping in front of Grifter's blaster fire.

Majestic is distracted with saving the life of a fellow team member and at the same time, stopping a nuclear meltdown. He returns to confront Tao deep in the sewers. Despite the entity's deceleration he has the cure for world hunger and many diseases, Majestic urges him to face his death with more nobility. With a flash of his eyes, Tao is incinerated.

Majestros soon quits the team, along with most of the new version, as the old Wildcats are back. He rejoins at the request of Grifter at the end of WildC.A.T.s but didn't stay long. He later teams up with Savant herself, along with several other heroes, including Cybernary to go on several dimension hopping adventures. He would help with a rebellion against an evil dictator among many other incidents.

Majestic did not spend the majority of his time after Team One in solitude, but rather as a government agent taking on paranormal anomalies with the aid of a gifted boy named Desmond. As his adventures span from the late 1960s to the early 2000s, Majestic was flung into New Earth's Metropolis by Daemonite technology. From here Majestros takes on the alias of Jim McArest (an anagram of "Mr. Majestic"), as he had suffered amnesia from the interdimensional trip. In 2005, Majestic (with the aid of Superman and the Eradicator) returned to the WildStorm universe.

After Majestic, Superman and Eradicator returns to Majestic's Earth of his home dimension, but finds it mysteriously devoid of human and animal life. Only plants remain. Yet strangely, there are no car accidents, plane crashes, or other devastation. They investigate to find out a large alien spaceship had taken all animal life from the Earth, for reasons unknown. With Superman and the Eradicator forced to return to their home universe, Majestic must investigate this situation alone. He soon discovered that a alien space ship had taken every living thing off the planet and went after it. After months of pursuit, Majestic reaches the ship, and boards it, finding aboard the population of not just Earth, but dozens of other planets. All of them are held in stasis, except those members of the Plenary, a civilization of refugees who inhabit a derelict area of the vast ark. Majestic returns the population of the Earth, but finds it has been conquered by Daemonites from another dimension, who entered through the gate he left open, and that he lost over a year of time. In addition to controlling the world, the Daemonites are using Kheran Planet-Shaper engines to adapt the planet to their needs.

Realizing that continuing the fight would be futile, Majestic uses the power of the Void contained within his possessed friend Spartan to travel back in time before the Daemonite conquest.

Returning to Earth after sealing the hole in the Bleed which the Daemonites had used to enter his reality, Majestic sets out to discover the origins of the Kherubim technology cached on the Earth. Enlisting the aid of his former ally Desmond, and Zealot of the Coda, Majestic finds a tunnel that leads deep into the planet, laced with Kherubim technology. There he is forced to confront James Wyvern, owner of Pacificon, and secretly Lord Helspont of the Daemonites. After a short battle, Desmond is assimilated into the core of the Planet Shaper engine, and Helspont infiltrates it, causing the display of a holographic tutorial revealing the history and purpose of the device. It is revealed that the ancient Kherubim seeded these devices across countless worlds, subjugating the native life and fostering their own evolutionary growth. However, this process was sometimes unsuccessful, as in the case of the Daemonites. Before the tutorial can be completed though, a signal from the Shaper's Guild causes the device to shut down.

After this shut down, Majestic and Zealot meet Javen, a former friend of Majestic, who is now a Master Motile of the Shaper's Guild. He presents Majestic with an offer, that Majestic and the Shaper's Guild seize the rule of Khera, and fight the corruption that has plagued the planet since the end of the Daemonite War. However, this offer is merely a ploy, concealing the Shaper's Guild's real intent, to use Majestic's pure genestock and the planet shaper to forge a new Khera out of the planet Earth. Unfortunately, Majestic's recent temporal adventures have ruined his genetic structure, rendering him useless for those purposes, and ultimately, causing the end of his life within relatively short order. Therefore, the Guild seeks a secondary source, Majestic's daughter, Savant, who he did not even know about it till it was revealed to him by Javen. The Shaper's Guild attempts to seize her, and place her within the Planet Shaper machine.

Meanwhile, a force of the Coda, led by Zealot's mother, Harmony, of the Red Skein of the Coda, and a Kherubrim warlod, Lord Khull Imperator, arrives to oppose the radical actions of the Shaper's Guild. They lead a force to fight the Shaper's forces, and prevent the use of the Planet Shaper Engine. Majestic, having escaped from the Shaper's Guild with the help of Spartan, allies with Helspont, leading his own mission against the Shaper's. Eventually Javan is defeated by Savant, though only after having injured Zealot, and killed Harmony, but Lord Khull Imperator, having defeated Helspont, announces his real desire, to seize the Planet Shaper engine for his own faction. He seemingly engages the engine, separating it from the Earth, which causes it to catastrophically fail, destroying the planet.

This turns out to be a ruse perpetuated by Majestic and Desmond though, using the full immersion holographic systems of the Planet Shaper to convince Imperator that his plans failed. But Desmond has been possessed by Helspont, who still intends to use the engine for himself. Majestic is able thwart him only by continually changing the access codes to the system, requiring him to endure weeks of continuous in order to prevent the Daemonite from taking over. Eventually all seems lost when Majestic reaches the limits of his endurance, until suddenly all animal life vanishes from the Earth, which causes the Planet Shaper to shut down, a result of the mysterious ark Majestic had already defeated in his sojourn to the future. Due to temporal poisoning Majestic dies, disintegrating into little white slivers which blow past the Mr. Majestic who first returns to the Wildstorm universe with Superman and the Eradicator.

Majestic and the Wildcats involved themselves with a Kheran woman named Nemesis who has been killing people for some unknown reason, and entered into a plot that had been going on since before the Kherubim first crashed to Earth.
Majestic and Nemesis had met on Khera when she tried to steal his sword. After he caught her, they soon became friends and lovers, and Majestic was able to get her Coda training, something an Adrastean like Charis (her real name) was normally not allowed. Unfortunately, since Charis was an Adrastea, Majestic being with her was frowned upon so they had to stay together in secret. However, their secret wasn't as well hidden as they thought. Kheran politicians, trying to make peace for their planet, chose Majestic to sleep with Zealot, an act that would unite the two most powerful factions on the planet, the Pantheon and the Coda. Majestic felt it was his duty as a Kherubim to do what he was asked of him for the sake of Khera, but the politicians would have blackmailed him by threatening to tell others about Charis if he didn't. Because of his "duty" Majestic and Charis separated, though they still loved each other. They ended up on Earth together though when their ship crashed on the planet. Charis was part of the Coda but was betrayed by another faction (led by her new man Raven) the Brotherhood of the Blade. The Brotherhood had joined with some rogue Daemonites in a plan to overthrow both their people. The first step of this plan was to kill the Coda and frame Charis. They did, leaving only Charis (and Zealot, who had left before the attack) alive among the original Coda. After this, both Zealot and Majestic swore to hunt down Charis (now Nemesis), not knowing that she had also sworn to avenge her sisters. The whole betrayal had taken place in Ancient Greece, and Nemesis hadn't been seen since. It wasn't until 2005 that Majestic found her.

Majestic, Zealot, Savant, and Grifter found Nemesis in the middle of killing some Brotherhood assassins, though the Wildcats didn't know that was who they were. After she had killed them, the Wildcats tried to stop her from kidnapping a child that was with the men, but Nemesis made short work of the team. She even managed to cut Majestic with a sword (the blade of the sword was made from the metal of a machine that was created to destroy the universe and could cut through anything). She escaped with the child (named Kara) but Majestic and the team eventually find her.

Before the Wildcats could arrive though, Daemonites found Charis and Kara and managed to take them by surprise, but she was able to hold her own until Majestic arrived looking to take Kara back and to kill Charis. After surrounding herself and Kara with a forcefield, Charis blew up the building, with Daemonites and Majestic caught in the explosion. Majestic survived though and used his former relationship with Nemesis to take her down. Majestros took both of them to a Halo Corporation building in New York City. While there, Charis revealed the truth behind her “betrayal” and also explained what was going on with the girl. The Brotherhood (and their Daemonite allies) had been mutating humanity (by polluting water all over the world) since they had betrayed the Coda and their people in Ancient Greece. The girl was created as an activator to trigger the mutations so Nemesis was keeping her safe so the Brotherhood couldn't use her to control humanity. Majestic and Zealot accepted her story (after some tests of their own), but before Nemesis could be released, a Brotherhood spacecraft (a Bladeship) emerged from a bleed portal and fired hundreds of projectiles into the Halo building with the Wildcats (and Nemesis) inside. The projectiles were Scimitars, Brotherhood/Shaper hybrids, living weapons born and bred to kill. Majestros saved Nemesis at the last minute from being cut in half by a Scimitar. While Majestic was fighting some of the Scimitars, Kara was kidnapped and the Bladeship attacked. After the Brotherhood ship bombarded the building with plasma canons, Charis was the last one standing, thanks to her force field. Following the Scimitar that had captured Kara onto the ship, she came face to face with Raven, the leader of the Brotherhood. She was too late to stop him from activating the girl, and the resulting blast knocked her off the flying ship and to the ground. When she awoke, she was with Majestic, Zealot, Grifter and Savant. It was then that Majestic and Zealot called a truce with Nemesis and offered her the chance to finally avenge her slain sisters of the Coda. Majestic, Nemesis and the Wildcats battled the human mutates in New York City, while other superhero teams fought mutates all over America.

Savant located the Brotherhood's battleship in space, and teleported all the Wildcats (except Majestic) using the Halo Corporation teleportation system. On board they found that Raven had the entire population of New Jersey frozen in status pods as hostages. He was ready to kill them if the Wildcats didn't surrender. Nemesis, being a Coda warrior, was unable to surrender, and threw out some special grenades, taking out the Brotherhood and buying time for her to send the hostages back to Earth and set the ship to self-destruct. Nemesis was able to locate Kara and free her, but she was attacked by a Daemonite and was about to be shot. Grifter, deeply in lust with Nemesis, took the hit for her. Savant tried to teleport the team back, but there weren't enough beacons to get them all back, so Nemesis gave hers to Kara. She also gave Grifter a goodbye kiss and told Zealot to tell Majestros that had she not sacrificed herself, she would have showed him what he was missing for the past three millenia.

After the Wildcats had left, Charis faced off against Raven. Raven wielded a sword identical to Charis' blade, making the fight extremely deadly. Nemesis succeeded in killing Raven, the ship was badly damaged during the fight and was sucked out into the vacuum of space. It was then that Majestic returned, saving her from certain death as the remaining charge on her shields were running out. Back at the Halo Corporation building in New York City, Majestros asked Charis to stay with him as well as join the Wildcats. Unfortunately she turned him down, and after a final kiss went on her way.

Majestic encountered the DC hero Captain Atom who was transported to the Wildstorm Universe due to saving his Earth from a meteor made of kryptonite. Majestic didn't give Atom a chance to explain what he was doing on his planet, and started attacking him, though he wasn't actually trying to kill him. After having pummeling Atom, Majestic is blasted by him; stunning him, and then punched him into the ground. Before Majestic recovered, Atom flew away to find out where he was.

Majestic tracked down Atom who have discovered that this Earth isn't his and tries to fly as fast as he possibly could, believing that he would get him back home. Majestic caught up to him as he flew and then stopped him, telling Atom that he was there to help, not to fight. Majestic took Atom to his base in Mount Rushmore to explain to him in on what was going on. Majestic apparently knew more about what was going on than Atom did, and knew that Atom had come from the DC Universe's Earth (as well in recounting his adventures with Superman, much to Atom's surprise). But even using the most sophisticated of computers and his own genius, he couldn't figure out a way to get Atom back to his world. Atom decided to see if he could get help from other heroes but Majestic warned him against the idea. He told Atom that some of the other heroes (implicitly The Authority) were not to be trusted, but Captain Atom left anyway. Once he was gone, Majestic returned to his base only to received a disturbing message. According to the machine, if Captain Atom wasn't returned to his Earth, he would start a reaction that would destroy the entirety of the Wildstorm Universe.

Majestic went to find Atom and discovered him outside at the White House. Captain Atom attacked Majestic without warning, angry at him and other super heroes in his universe that seemed to have normal humans (including the President who he'd just met) trembling in fear. Majestic didn't fight back since he had come to talk. Instead, he let Atom yell and fight. When he was done, Atom spit in Majestic's face, causing him to hurl Atom into the Washington Monument. After that, he told Atom what he'd found out about the destruction Atom would cause if he didn't get home. He also told Atom that if he sacrificed himself, he could save everyone. Atom was stunned of hearing this, but is unsure if Majestic's difference engine was true and left to check that out with other sources. Returning to Mount Rushmore, Mr. Majestic kept running the numbers on his computer to find a solution. The only thing he found was more bad news: he discovered that even if Atom sacrificed himself and died, he'd still destroy the universe. Majestic went to The Authority's base, The Carrier, to talk to Jack Hawksmoor. Jack told him that The Authority had a plan, to have the Engineer do some subatomic changes to Captain Atom, which she did and seemed to have worked.

Unfortunately, it hadn't worked. Atom came into contact with Void and reacted violently, cluing everyone in to the fact that he still posed a threat to the universe.[4] Against Mr. Majestic's advice, Jack Hawksmoor sent Authority members Apollo and Midnighter (after The Engineer failed) to kill Captain Atom. While they were fighting, Majestic ran more checks on his computer and kept getting the same response. If Atom stayed, the universe would die, and if he died (which was becoming more and more likely thanks to the fight going on) it would still be destroyed. Majestic flew back up to the Carrier to confront Jack about his flawed plan and strongly demands him to call off Apollo and Midnighter, but The Doctor used his magic to freeze time around Majestic hindering him from doing anything.

Midnighter and Apollo managed to bring Atom back to the Carrier and were about to kill him when Atom started to glow. After Apollo and Midnighter were killed just by touching him, The Doctor unfroze Majestic on Jack's command to see if he could help. Upon being unfroze and seeing what has happened, Majestic angrily reprimanded Jack. Right after Jenny Quantum was killed in her efforts in helping Atom, Void appeared. She went to Atom and removed a piece of herself from his body. The tiny shard of her essence had somehow lodged itself in Atom and had been causing all the problems. Once removed, Atom was able to return to his Earth, but the Wildstorm Universe was still going to be expunged. In one final flash of light, everything that was in the Wildstorm Universe was gone, but rebooted to be known as Earth-50 with many of the universe's denizens, including Majestic, remaining intact only with their past history reformatted but for him and others involved with Captain Atom to vaguely forget the entire event.

With the failure of the Worldstorm reboot the universe went in a different direction. When Nemesis was sent into the future by the Void to learn enough about the coming Armageddon to prevent it, she discover that Majestic had become an enemy of the Wildcats because of his effort to create a New Khera in Hawaii. This threw him into conflict with his former team because he was taking technology from them (since their base had survived mostly intact) as well as survivors to populate the utopia he was building. Nemesis left this future and went back to her time to prevent it so it was unknown if that future would come to pass.

In the present Majestic next appeared as part of Nemesis' efforts to fix the world. She and her partners (Savant and Backlash) needed access to his technology so she spent a night with him to distract him from their break in. He knew what was going on but didn't stop them. When they seemingly succeeded in preventing the apocalypse Nemesis ended up in bed with Majestic again. It turned out though that not only had Nemesis failed to save the world, she'd actually been tricked (by Tao) into damning it. The future that Tao had made Void show her became more than just a possibility because of her actions.

Since the destruction brought upon Earth due to the Reaper clones of The High, Majestros at first was confused at what he thought was an encounter with his old friend when he ran into one of the crazed clones[10]. Some time after that Majestros became what is perceived as insane. He had decided to build a utopia based on his homeworld of Khera, here on the shattered Earth in what was the island state of Hawaii. As was seen from Nemesis' experience in the future Majestic attacked the Halo Building to take their advanced technology and the survivors that they have saved so he bring them back to his "utopia". He had become an enemy of the Wildcats because of his effort to create a "New Khera" in Hawaii.

The conflict between him and the Wildcats eased in a truce and Majestros offered to only Maul, Warblade, Nemesis and Jodi Slayton to live in Hawaii as he deems them the only ones to be "desirable". The four initially rejected his offer, but Nemesis and Jodi Slayton eventually accepted after their battle against Daemonites. However, it was then revealed that Majestic blackmailed them as he held Savant as a prisoner and among others to be artificially impregnated to give birth to pure Kherubim "heirs". Majestic, again, battled the Wildcats after they received a distress message from Backlash, when he was distracted in fighting Spartan above Beijing, China. Upon arriving back to Hawaii to stop the Wildcats from escaping, Nemesis battled Majestic in order to allow her team to escape. Their reluctant fight brought them over an active volcano in which Nemesis willingly allow themselves to fell into the magma. Majestic was the only one to emerge unharmed and was incredibly dismayed to believe that his love perished. Majestic angrily gave chase on the Wildcats as he believed them to be their faults for Nemesis's apparent death. As he arrived at the Halo Building, Majestic was lured to confront his nemesis Lord Defile as he, Lady Decadence, and his Daemonites recently invaded the building. Upon seeing each other, Majestic and Defile ferociously fought until Spartan allowed himself to be infused with the energies of the Otherspace in sucking them into the said dimension, but subsequently destroying the entire Halo Building in the process and apparently killing everyone within the vicinity. Majestic, however, shortly escaped his ordeal and didn't go after the Wildcats.

He later returned to Hawaii in his vain search for Nemesis and finding only her swords. During his search he was again met by Savant and Zealot, which they came for his help in battling Tao. Majestic, however, initially attacked Zealot until their fight is stopped by their daughter who and her mother reveals to him that Tao was responsible for manipulating his actions and was indirectly at fault for Nemesis's demise. This revelation enraged him to timely arrive at the site of the battle between Tao, Max Faraday, and Spartan, where he helps in subduing Tao with the Nemesis Swords. Unfortunately, Tao had his underling Pit Bull hold Faraday's wife hostage forcing Faraday to relent to Tao's demands for the Creation Equation. Majestic pleaded Max from revealing the Equation to Tao, but Faraday listened to Tao's demand. Following this, Majestic was among the heroes who gained the Creation Equation from Ladytron and was sentenced into the Hollow Realm where he confront his greatest fear of the animosity between Zealot and Savant; though he kept them from killing each other. After Tao's defeat, Majestic and his allies were gifted with new costumes and tasked again in saving what is left of the world by Max Faraday.

During Earth's war against Majestic's old militant allies the Knights of Khera, Majestic was late to arrive during the main conflict in UnLondon and stopped Sebastian from killing Spartan. He stated to Sebastian that Earth is under his protection and will do what is necessary by killing Sebastian. After killing Sebastian's lover Kine, Majestic was mortally stabbed in the neck by an enraged Sebastian. This left his entire body and motor functions completely paralyzed. In the midst of battle, Majestic was then secretly rescued by a still living Nemesis. He was brought back to his Mount Rushmore hideout where he recuperate and was brought against his will by Nemesis into conceiving a child with her. For three months, Majestic had been a sex slave to his lover before Nemesis finally became pregnant. Thereafter, Nemesis left Majestic as she doesn't see him fit to be a father given his paralyzed condition and decided in seeing the man who saved her to be the father instead. Majestic soon recovered from his paralysis, though weakened, and realizing that Nemesis's mind and personality is not her own and believing she is being control by someone, began his trek to find her and their unborn child and stopping the one who is responsible.

HISTORY:
The most diabolical of the mind-enthralling Venusian worms first made his way to Earth stowing away aboard the Magellan space probe. Uniting with the megalomaniacal Doctor Sivana, Mr. Mind -- as Sivana named him -- planned a full-blown worm invasion using the wealthy Sinclair Batson as his primary host. Captain Marvel discovered the insidious scheme while searching for the spacecraft "Freya III", lost on the uncharted surface of Venus. With the aid of a sentient Mother Box, Marvel teleported the swarming worm-mass into the freezing reaches of deep space. But Mister Mind survived, later taking control of Department of Metahuman Affairs Director Sarge Steel and destroying Marvel's hometown, Fairfield, in revenge. Launching an assault upon Washington D.C. inside a worm armor-construct, Mr. Mind apparently perished in battle with the Marvel Family and their allies.

After the events of Infinite Crisis, the remaining Earths created by Alexander Luthor collapsed back together, combining historical remnants to form one New Earth. However, the single universe was too small to contain the energy inside it and it began replicating - into 52 identical Universes, a new Multiverse.

Rip Hunter, Booster Gold and Skeets arrive in the Rocky Mountains headquarters of Professor T.O. Morrow. Morrow is exhausted and stares wearily at the android face of Red Tornado in his workshop. Skeets begins shaking and the others discover that his robotic carapace has been functioning as a super-advanced cocoon. The Venusian chrysalis, Mister Mind, emerges from the cocoon as a gigantic behemoth and threatens to consume the Universe. Rip, Booster and Morrow rush back into the Time Sphere. Hunter tells them that they are going back to where it all started.

As Rip Hunter revealed to Booster Gold aboard his Time Sphere, in the few seconds after the creation of this new Multiverse, the Earths (and their corresponding Universes) "will occupy the same space, each on a different vibrational plane".

During their efforts to stop the vastly powerful Mr. Mind from destroying every universe, Hunter described Mind's efforts as "eating years and events from this universe's history -- altering the Earth with every flap of his wings". This resulted in the Earths changing, becoming different from New Earth in varying degrees.

Hunter's plan to defeat Mr. Mind rested with Booster, Supernova, and Skeets. By fortifying Skeets' shell with Sivana's invention, Suspendium, they managed to imprison Mr. Mind in Skeets. Booster threw Skeets through an opening in time while Supernova ensured that it ended up in the correct time: Week 0 Day 0. Mr. Mind's devolved form is found (again) by Sivana, who imprisons him. Hunter used the 52 seconds of missing time to bind Mr. Mind, forever condemned to live within that loop.

- From the Wiki: Terry Sloane was a famous child genius who graduated from high school at age eleven and completed college by age twelve. He then pursued athletics, and became an award-winning amateur athlete. Finally he entered the business field and amassed a vast personal fortune. However because of his constant effortless success he felt unfulfilled and depressed. He decided life had nothing more to offer him and contemplated suicide. Driving his car one night he resolved to kill himself when he saw a young woman, Wanda Wilson, jump from a bridge. He rescued her and learned that she was in despair because her younger brother Billy had fallen in with hoodlums who worked for and idolized a gang boss named Big Shot. Sloane assumed the masked identity of Mr. Terrific and drove the cowardly Big Shot from town. Billy and his gang friends witnessed this, and now looked up to Mr. Terrific as their hero. Having found a new drive in life, he continued fighting crime as Mr. Terrific, the “defender of fair play.”

Jason Bleek framed Wanda Wilson for the murder of his uncle Jabez, and Mr. Terrific had to clear her name. He deduced that Bleek would try to kill his other rich uncle next, and followed him. He caught Bleek and gave him a beating, but Bleek's uncle saw the fight and called the police to save his nephew. Terrific was undeterred, and when Bleek tried to kill his uncle with a poisonous gas he prevented it and got the uncle on his side. Terrific presented Bleek and the uncle at Wanda's murder trial, and after Bleek confessed Wanda was acquitted.

Skinny McSlugg's gang started a letter-writing campaign to convince radio station WMCG to have Mr. Terrific sell war bonds on their programs. The write-ins were a success, and soon Terrific had a show selling bonds, answering trivia and demonstrating his myriad talents. McSlugg's gang committed crimes only when they knew Terrific was busy selling bonds. Terrific figured out their scheme, and got three prodigies, one versed in boxing, the second in music and the third in scientific knowledge to play “Mr. Terrific” on the WMCG program. McSlugg's gang heard the imposters' broadcast, and committed their latest heist, but were shocked when Terrific showed up to apprehend them.

Wanda Wilson asked Terry Sloane to go to a masquerade ball with her friend Patricia Jones. Terry thought Pat was a battleaxe, but agreed as a favor to Wanda. At Pat's house he was turned away by members of “Muggsy” Mc Graff's gang, and soon learned that “Muggsy” was posing as Baron de Granby to take Pat to the ball and then marry her for her money. Terrific tried to tell Pat about “Muggsy” but she wouldn't listen to reason, so at the masquerade ball Mr. Terrific exposed the Baron and his friends as crooks. Pat cried on Terrific's shoulder about not being able to land a husband because of her plain looks, so Mr. Terrific used his talents as a beautician to give her a complete makeover. She was pleased with the result and asked Terrific to marry her, but he told her he had to run.

Terry Sloane attended an art opening and was approached by Benson, who showed him a copy of the painting “Proud Lady” by Hector. He offered Sloane a commission to convince Sloane's socialite friend Rogers to sell the original, and accept the copy as a replacement. Terry told Rogers about the offer, but Terry's art history background uncovered the fact that the painting Rogers had was a copy as well, so he knew Benson was up to something fishy. Terrific learned that Benson was actually Rogers' former gardener, who'd robbed the Rogers house. The most valuable item taken was a $100,000 pearl pearl necklace that Benson hid in the picture frame of Roger's “Proud Lady,” because he never had a chance to remove it from Rogers' house. Terrific brought Benson into police custody, and gave the reward money to Rogers as compensation for having his painting revealed as a copy.

Terry Sloane's friend Jim Cowley was released from prison after stealing fifty dollars from his uncle. Cowley explained that he badly needed the money and intended to pay his uncle back, and he still wanted to repay his uncle so he hit Terry up for a loan. Later Terry heard that Cowley had been arrested for his uncle's murder. As Mr. Terrific he investigated and found the true culprit was the uncle's gardener Emanuel, who knew the old man was afraid of Jim and had written a note saying that if he was murdered Jim was to blame. Terrific cleared Jim's name and had Emanuel arrested for murder.

Terrific was apprehending the Mullins Gang when he was pulled into the year 7532 by a futuristic science council's time machine. They explained that a hundred years before an alien planet entered Earth's solar system, and its' gravitational pull would have ripped Earth apart if not for the efforts of the coordinator. The tyrant Black Barax was holding the coordinator hostage, and the council sought Terrific's help because his exploits had become legendary by their time. Once Terrific learned that Barax was located on what were once the South Sea islands, and he knew Barax' island fortress was right over dormant volcanoes. He used dynamite to reactivate the volcanoes and frighten Barax into handing over the coordinator. Terrific was returned to own time and finished rounding up the Mullins.

The time traveling Black Barax and his time-cube arrived in Hartford. Mr. Terrific entered the time-cube and met two heroes from the future, Hawkgirl II and Mr. Terrific II. Terrific learned that his successor would one day be chairman of the JSA, and Terrific was pleased to learn that America would give equal rights to African Americans in the future. The heroes helped the Freedom Fighters in a battle against Barax. Mr. Terrific convinced Barax he was his ancestor and threatened to shoot himself in the head, thereby erasing Barax from the timeline. Barax fell for his ploy and retreated back to his own time. Human Bomb helped Hawkgirl and Mr. Terrific II reactivate Barax' time-cube, and before they left Mr. Terrific made it clear he was impressed with his successor.

Terrific noticed a commotion over a cat with its' head stuck in a sewer grating and freed the animal. While a crowd was distracted by the cat in peril Mr. Flaster's famous jewel collection was robbed. Terrific suspected that Flaster hired men to rob the collection so he could cash in on the insurance, and used his own pet cat as a distraction. Terrific told Flaster he'd trained the cat to catch the robbers, then surreptitiously rubbed dog-hair on Flaster's clothes. The cat scratched Flaster, and he was convinced the cat knew he was guilty. He sent the men he hired to rob his jewels to dispose of the cat, but Terrific defeated the thugs and got a confession from Mr. Flaster.

A newly opened public library collapsed, and Mr. Terrific saved all the patrons from death, save the architect Mr. Desmond. Desmond suspected his builder Mike Fogarty was using inferior materials, and Terrific confirmed it by comparing Desmond's plans for a bridge versus Fogarty's finished product. Terrific told Desmond's architect son Paul how to fix the bridge, then brought Fogarty for justice, using his alterations to the bridge blueprint as evidence.

Terrific learned that someone was harming one of his business enterprises, Cur-It Cough Syrup, by selling imitation Cur-It that was just sweetened water. Near his Mudville Cur-It production center he found the body of the man responsible for the Cur-It knock-offs, Toothy Gamlin. Terrific went to Gamlin's former base of operations and found his killer and the new leader of his gang, superhuman Gorilla Ganty. Ganty physically outclassed Terrific so Terrific spilled ammonia nitrate on a radiator, creating laughing gas that subdued Ganty and his gang. Terrific saw gangsters trying to kidnap Jim Grace, a millionaire playboy who was in the habit of handing out $100 bills to strangers. Terrific fought the gangsters, and Grace was shot in the struggle. While Grace recovered in a hospital Terrific impersonated him and allowed the gangsters to kidnap him. The gangsters were working for “Big” Bill Steven, who was Grace's former partner in crime. They'd both been arrested over 20 years ago after pulling off an enormous heist, but Steven received a light sentence for turning state's evidence. Grace gave away $100 bills from the heist to get even with him, which was why Steven wanted to kidnap Grace, to get his share of the heist before Grace gave it away. Terrific revealed himself and brought Steven and his gang into police custody.

Mr. Terrific went to town to buy a garden hose for Wanda Wilson, who was afraid her garden was going to dry out. After finishing his errand Terrific caught up with a gang of bank robbers, who'd taken attention away from themselves by playing a phonograph record of gunshots and explosions on a nearby rooftop. They escaped, but Terrific used his photographic memory to recall the license plate number of their getaway car, and soon located them. He defeated them and returned to Wanda's garden. Unfortunately he'd used the hose as a weapon against the thugs and found that it was now full of holes and useless to Wanda.

Terrific and Wanda Wilson caught Mr. Futile robbing a jewelry store, but were unable to apprehend him. Futile later kidnapped Wanda, and Terrific raced to her rescue. Futile captured Terrific, and planned to dispose of him only after going to the Theatre Awards banquet and stealing the award for best actor. Terrific escaped his bonds, freed Wanda, and met Futile at the banquet. Terrific defeated him and proclaimed his criminal/acting career a flop.

Wanda Wilson contacted Terrific, telling him her home had been burglarized, and the thieves took a jewelry box Terrific gave her as a present. He offered to get her a new one, but she told him what she had inside was extremely important, and asked him to get it back. Terrific ran an add in the paper claiming the box was a fake, and that the real one would be on display at the Central Art Museum. The thieves took the bait, and Terrific followed them back to their hideout where he apprehended them and recovered the box. Wanda revealed she kept her diary in the box, and her diary revealed that Terrific was actually Terry Sloane. Terrific told her women were nothing but trouble and ripped up her diary.

Wanda invited Terry to see hypnotist Don Greco perform at her woman's lodge. He told her he'd meet up with her, and changed into Mr. Terrific. He remembered Greco was an ex-con who was jailed for stealing from his hypnotized audiences. At the lodge he found “Big” John Tolley and his gang robbing the women who'd been hypnotized by Greco. Terrific made short work of them, then hypnotized Greco, who told Terrific he was going straight, but was coerced by Tooley into helping him rob the lodge. Terrific knew he was sincere in going straight so he used hypnotism to erase the memory of his involvement with Tooley from his mind.

At Wanda's insistence Terrific investigated a new crime syndicate and discovered the members were five genius friends from Terry Sloane's Clubmen's League. Albert Smith, George Peters, Stewart Wilson, Michael Andrews and John Cavanaugh were so bored with success that they turned to crime. Terrific foiled them from robbing a gold mining office and explained their situation to their judge. The judge told them they should turn their minds to solving crimes, not committing them. With the geniuses working for the police Mr. Terrific felt comfortable taking a month long vacation.

(Sensation Comics I #56) - Terry Sloane and Wanda took a cruise aboard a yacht when someone started stealing valuables from the guests. Terry changed into Mr. Terrific, and found the culprit, Junior Elwood, , who was turning to crime because his father didn't pay attention to him. A masked criminal entered Junior's room, knocked out Terrific, and stole the valuables Junior had snitched. Terrific uncovered the crook's identity, Shaw, the captain of the yacht, and captured him with Junior's help. Junior realized how misguided he was, and decided he would rather fight crime like Terrific.

Terry Sloane received a ransom note from Roulette, who demanded he bring $10,000 to the Flying Pig Casino in New Orleans or he'd never see his brother Ned alive again. Terry knew he had to go save his brother. At the casino Roulette revealed she needed the money to raise her and Ned's child, Veronica. Ned came up with the kidnapping hoax, then disappeared on her. Terry hated the idea of his niece being raised by a disreputable woman in a casino and snatched the child and ran from the casino. He saw the time-traveling Mr. Terrific II, who was fighting KKK members. Terrific I helped Terrific II, who explained he needed Terrific to return to action to stop Per Degaton from altering history and ending the Justice Society legacy. After Terrific I found a safe place for Veronica they met up with the rest of the reformed Justice Society and the time-traveling JSA at the Justice Society brownstone. Hourman informed them Per Degaton was going to assassinate the President. The Justice Society and JSA went to Washington to warn Truman that his life was in danger. Degaton and the Red Morgue attacked Washington, but the teams were ready for him. Degaton used a time-disc to speed up Atom's metabolism and turn him into a nuclear bomb ready to go off. If he exploded millions would die, but Jakeem Thunder and Johnny Thunder summoned the Thunderbolt to turn Atom back to normal. Terrific and the other heroes defeated Degaton, who fled into the time stream. The resulting time distortion caused Terrific and the other Society members to forget their adventure with the JSA.

Terrific and the Spectre were on the verge of capturing Terrific's arch-enemy the Spirit King, but Mr. Terrific insisted Spectre leave him to Terrific, so the King could face trial. Spectre ignored Terrific, and damned the Spirit King to Hell after killing him.

Terrific retired as a superhero and became an English literature teacher at Gateway University. There he discovered an old enemy, the Spirit King, stealing a device from the campus laboratory. He resumed his identity of Mr. Terrific to hunt down Spirit King. Spirit King got the jump on Mr. Terrific, strangling him to death. At the time he was using Jay Garrick's body which was under his control. The Justice Society of America pledged to bring King to justice and avenge Mr. Terrific, but it would be many years before they were given the opportunity.

Mr. Terrific befriended Starman VII in the afterlife. Starman VII brought his brother Starman VIII to a banquet in limbo attended by Mr. Terrific and several other deceased mystery men. Mr. Terrific warned Starman VIII that he would one day be tempted by vanity.

When several heroes traveled to the gates of Heaven to meet Jim Corrigan, Mr. Terrific and other dead JSAers met their old friends at the gate. They enjoyed a brief reunion.

Thunderbolt summoned the spirit of Mr. Terrific and several other deceased JSAers to help J.J. Thunder, who was being attacked by Gentleman Ghost an a gang of spirits under the Ghost's control. After defeating the Ghost's underlings Atom and the others faded back into the ether.

HISTORY:
At a young age, Michael Holt showed remarkable intelligence, reading and assimilating the works of Bohr, Einstein, Planck and Feynman, the pantheon of theoretic physics, at the age of six. He studied advanced science, space and time "while other children struggled through Sesame Street."

Holt displayed as he called it, "a natural aptitude for having natural aptitudes," easily picking up and retaining complex skills and abilities that other men spent their entire lives perfecting. Before he began his career as a superhero, he already possessed 14 Ph.D's (two in Engineering and Physics -- including assorted doctorates and masters in degrees in Law, Psychology, Chemistry, Political Science and Mathematics). He was a self-made multi-millionaire with a high tech firm called Cyberwear (later Holt Holdings Inc.) and was a Gold-medal winning Olympic decathelete.

While contemplating suicide after the death of his mentally handicapped older brother and the accidental death of his wife and unborn child, Holt was met by the Spirit of God's Vengeance, known as the Spectre (ironically, Holt is an atheist), who told him about Terry Sloane, the "Golden Age" superhero known as Mister Terrific. Inspired by Sloane's life story he took the name Mister Terrific and later joined the current Justice Society of America, eventually serving as its chairman.

He initially wore ordinary clothes and a leather jacket with Sloane's "Fair Play" emblem on the back. He currently wears a T-shaped mask, a black and white costume with red trim, and a collarless jacket in the same colors (the black sections of tunic and jacket forming a "T") with "Fair Play" written on the sleeves and "Terrific" on the back.

For a time he acted as spokesperson for Tylerco and consulted that company on industrial espionage and security matters in exchange for that company helping fund a youth center Terrific had started.

Holt has a friendly rivalry with Batman, his opposite number in the Justice League of America. Also, Michael Holt has encountered Terry Sloane twice through time travel, with Sloane expressing pride in having so worthy a successor. Holt has been noted as the most intelligent member of the JSA in its history, surpassing his predecessor. He describes himself as the third smartest person in the world.

During a conflict over leadership of the Justice Society between former chairman Hawkman and then-current chairman Sand, Terrific was elected as the JSA's new chairman by his teammates, despite not actively seeking the office. He served in this capacity until the team disbanded following the Infinite Crisis.

Mister Terrific was part of the team assembled by Batman for an attack on the Brother Eye satellite responsible for controlling the OMACs. He played a critical role as his invisibility to technology allowed him to reach the satellite's propulsion system, sending it crashing to Earth. On this meeting he met and befriended another African American superhero - Black Lightning.

As part of One Year Later, though Holt is still a member of the JSA, he has also become part of the United Nations Security Council's intelligence agency Checkmate. He initially held the position of White King's Bishop, but when the previous White King (Alan Scott) was forced to resign, he became Checkmate's new White King, complicating his relationship with Sasha Bordeaux, Checkmate's Black Queen. He has also given up his chairman position, which has been taken over by Power Girl. Mister Terrific has also established an ill-defined mentorship with the latest Firestorm, Jason Rusch, over the missing year. The specifics of their meeting are yet to be documented.

After Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman began discussing the reformation of the Justice League, in regards to Mister Terrific as a potential member, Batman said, "I think we can get him." Wonder Woman reminded Batman of Terrific's position of leadership in the JSA, but Batman insisted, "That doesn't matter, we can get him."

Shortly after, Mister Terrific went to the Gotham General Hospital along with Doctor Mid-Nite to take care of Selina Kyle, whose heart was removed from her body by Hush. After Batman recovered her heart, he informed Holt about the technology used to keep the heart living outside the body and after retrieving the heart, Hult and Mid-Nite performed a surgery on Selina to place her heart back. The surgery was a success, but they were not sure if Selina would ever be Catwoman again.

  • Penetration Vision: In/40
  • Hyper-speed: In/40
Psionics: The Daxamite Mind possesses several powers common among Eternals.
  • Flight: ShX/150
  • Total Memory: Mn/75
WEAKNESSES:
  • Lead: Mon-El is vulnerable to Lead. He is powered by a particular wavelength of cosmic energy, which happens to be rather abundant in our sun. Lead prevents the absorption of this energy. This process of disruption is painful and sets off a chain reaction within a Daxamites cells that can lead to death. Lack of this radiation causes Mon-El’s cells to deteriorate, similar to radiation poisoning in a human being. Exposure to Lead causes him to lose all her powers at -1CS per round. He also loses 1 rank of Strength and Endurance (with its loss of Health) per round until death occurs at Shift-0 Endurance.
  • Red Sun Radiation: The planet Daxam Orbited a red giant, this kind of sun produces a specific frequency of radiation that negates the cosmic energy from a yellow sun. Exposure to radiation from a red star causes complete negation of Daxamite powers. They return at a rate of 1CS per round following a round of exposure to yellow sun radiation.
TALENTS: Astronavigation

CONTACTS: Legion, Daxam

HISTORY:
Lar Gand, known variously as Mon-El and Valor, is a Daxamite, an alien from the planet Daxam. Exploring the galaxy, he landed on Krypton, but was immediately warned by Jor-El of the planet's imminent destruction and was given a map to Earth. He then went into suspended animation. After a few years, he landed on Earth and met Superboy. Although Gand suffered from amnesia upon landing on Earth, he and Superboy became good friends. Under Earth's yellow sun, he had powers like those of Superman; this led Superboy to believe that Gand might be his heretofore unknown long-lost brother. Superboy named the amnesiac alien "Mon-El": "Mon" because he landed on Earth on a Monday, and "El" for Superboy's own Kryptonian family name. Monel is also a metallic alloy, an appropriate name for the brother of the man (or boy) of steel.

Mon-El moved into the Kent home and created his own human secret identity (Bob Cobb) to integrate into Superboy's hometown of Smallville; when in alien garb, he accompanied Superboy on his heroic feats. However, when Mon-El failed to experience pain during an unnoticed inadvertent exposure to kryptonite (which is radioactively poisonous to all Kryptonians), Superboy suspected Mon-El was deliberately pretending to be a Kryptonian for some nefarious purpose. Understandably infuriated over what he believed to be a deliberate manipulation of his desire for ties to his original Kryptonian family, Superboy created a fake kryptonite meteorite made of lead and, when Mon-El was debilitated in his presence, Superboy believed his reaction to be proof of deception. However, Mon-El turned out to be in genuine pain because, in a remarkable piece of irony, Daxamites are highly sensitive to lead, even more so than Kryptonians are to kryptonite; whereas Kryptonians can recover from kryptonite poisoning if removed from exposure in time, even a small amount of lead exposure causes fatal, irreversible poisoning to Daxamites. Having regained his memories of meeting Jor-El and of his true nature, "Mon-El" was dying, so a guilt-ridden Superboy transported him into the extradimensional Phantom Zone until a cure could be found. Gand spent one thousand years as a poisoned, insubstantial, telepathic phantom, able to watch everything that happened in the outside world, but unable to affect it in the slightest.

In the 30th century, Saturn Girl created a temporary antidote to this poisoning allowing him to be released from the Zone for brief periods of time. During this period, he was considered an honorary Legionnaire. Brainiac 5 later created a permanent antidote, based on Saturn Girl's serum, with the addition of Kryptonite.

After passing his Legion test (including inventing flight ring metal) under the name "Marvel Lad", Lar Gand then joined the Legion of Super-Heroes, using the "Mon-El" moniker Superboy had given him. During this time, he was considered one of the Legion's big 3 (along with Superboy and Ultra Boy). In fact, his Daxamite abilities coupled with his immunity to the effects of Kryptonite and lead (and later, red solar radiation) made him the most powerful of all the Legionnaires. He served two terms as leader. Many years later, he married fellow Legionnaire Shadow Lass, with whom he had a long romantic relationship.

Early in his Legion career, Mon-El apparently died after failing to take a dose of Brainiac 5's anti-lead serum in a timely fashion. Eltro Gand, a distant descendant of Mon-El's older brother, sacrificed his life force to restore Mon-El to life.

Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Gand's history was unchanged, except that his encounter with Superboy took place in a Pocket Universe created by the Time Trapper, a mysterious being living at the end of the universe, as Superboy had been removed from Superman's continuity (how Mon-El found his way into the Pocket Universe is unclear, since Daxam was established as being in the mainstream DC Universe & it was later stated that the Pocket Universe only had two inhabited planets, Krypton & Earth).

During the Magic Wars which destroyed much of the technology throughout the United Planets, Mon-El seemingly died of injuries inflicted by the Time Trapper. Five years later, the Trapper revives him, hoping to use the Daxamite's body to preserve his own waning existence. However, Brainiac 5 discovered that Eltro Gand had not died years earlier, but had merely imbued his personality over that of Lar Gand. The Trapper's actions had separated the Lar and Eltro personalities, leaving both present within Mon-El's mind, with Lar as the dominant personality. In order to prevent the Trapper from further manipulating events throughout history, Lar kills him. The Trapper's death wipes Superboy's pocket universe out of existence, and fundamentally alters the timeline. Although it is largely restored, the Trapper's role and powers are usurped by his onetime underling Glorith, and Lar Gand is recast as "Valor".

In the new "Glorithverse" reality, Lar Gand replaced the non-existent Superboy as the Legion's inspiration. Lar Gand would enjoy a heroic career in the 20th century as "Valor," stopping the second Dominator-led invasion of Earth, freeing thousands of humans who had been experimented on by the Dominators and seeding them on a series of worlds between Dominion space and Earth as a "buffer zone" to prevent future invasions. These colonists had gained metahuman powers due to the experiments and would (in 1,000 years time), evolve into many of the worlds that would join the United Planets. After completing this task and an indefinite number of other 20th-century ventures, he would be placed in the Bgztl Buffer Zone by the time sorceress Glorith, to be rescued by the Legion in the 30th century. But none of these great 20th century adventures had occurred yet in the modern DCU.

In his new history, Lar Gand was inspired by his father's sacrifice in the Invasion! to become a hero. He briefly joined L.E.G.I.O.N., where it was Vril Dox who cured his lead poisoning.

Gand left L.E.G.I.O.N after a disagreement and traveled to Earth. He played a significant part in the "Eclipso: The Darkness Within" event, in which Superman gave him the name "Valor". His adventures began with Lar as an adventurous young man exploring the universe in a spaceship with a sentient A.I. called Babbage, encountering various aliens and civilizations.

Valor also encountered Starman (Will Payton) in space, while attempting to thwart Mr. Nebula. They join forces to defeat him.

Glorith had continued altering the timeline, inadvertently recreating the original Time Trapper in the process. Travelling back to when Lar Gand was a young man in another attempt to win his affection, she accidentally caused his death. Attempting to undo the damage this caused history, she called forth a duplicate Valor from the Legion's time (a second version of Valor created by the Time Trapper) to take his other self's place, "patched" into the 20th century timeline by Waverider. He was tasked with completing Valor's legendary feats such as stopping the Dominators' second invasion of Earth and seeding the U.P. worlds so that 30th century history would play out as it was supposed to. But history was playing out much earlier than it was supposed to which led to some changes in Valor's exploits. This was one of the many destabilization of the timestream that eventually led to Zero Hour.

Following Infinite Crisis The Legion Of Super-Heroes was once again rebooted this time back to its Pre-Zero hour lineup. After Infinite Crisis Mon-El was heavily retconned due the now Xenophobic nature of Daxam and its Residents. Bal Gand a female Daxamite visited earth during the height of the Inca culture, there she had a child with a Human Man but soon left to avoid her child from being seen as an apparent demi-god. Bal Gand later programmed her ship so that if Daxam and its xenophobia ever came to be an issue for the child it could leave Daxam for earth. Generations later Lar Gand found his suppressed instinct to escape eventually got the better of him and left Daxam and its isolated society behind in his ancestors ship.

- I've always seem Captain Atom and Monarch as two separate entities. You could say opposite halves of one man's soul. You have the Heroic Captain Atom and the despot Monarch. To do this you would need to go back to his origin story. In this Adam was indeed guilty of his court martial and did volunteer for the Atom project. The Quantum metal was covering him when the nuke went off and blew him into the Quantum Zone. There the metal became imprinted with the Captain's good personality and returned to Earth later in time, thinking it was the original and only Nathaniel Adam. The real Nathaniel Adam remained in the Quantum Zone until much later. And then you pick up with DC history.

HISTORY:
The second incarnation was Nathaniel Adam, who was still trapped in the quantum field, used the original Monarch armour Hank Hall sent back to escape. Free from the quantum field, Adam took on the identity of the Monarch and allied with Justice League International's former UN liaison officer, Catherine Colbert. Adam became a popular hero with the masses bar Captain Atom, who suspected he had alterior motives.

It is soon revealed that Monarch's actual plans were to control Earth's population via the use of genetic implants he has been using whilst under the pretence of healing them. The plan is thwarted by Booster Gold whose own biology is immune to Monarch's implants.

The existance of this version is currently unknown.

The third Monarch is the Quantum-Field duplicate of Nathaniel Adam. Almost immediately after his return from the Wildstorm Universe (then, the universe of Earth-50) he is attacked by the Monitor Solomon, who damages his Dilustel shell. He is found and contained by the Atomic Knights in a secret S.H.A.D.E. facility in Blüdhaven, who use the leaked radiation from his skin to conduct radiation treatments to metahumans. They outfit him with a nanoweave version of the Monarch armor to contain the radiation.

Captain Atom wakes up during the Battle of Bludhaven and escapes the facility. He emerges in the middle of a fight between Major Force and Hal Jordan. Enraged, he kills Major Force by draining his energy. He warns everyone to leave the area and later unleashes an explosion that obliterates the remains of the city.

Captain Atom escapes into the Bleed, the previous events seemingly pushed him into insanity. He travels throughout the Multiverse, building a massive metahuman army to fight the Monitors. He recruits Forerunner to train his troops, which include the Crime Society of Earth-3 and the JLAxis of Earth-10. He convinces Lord Havok of Earth-8 to lead his armada. During Countdown: Arena, Monarch arranges battles between alternate versions of superheroes to decide who will compose his strike force. Monarch fights and absorbs the energies of the Captain Atom Brigade, substantially building his own power.

He leads his Multiversal army into battle against the Monitors on Earth-51. During his battle he is confronted by Superman-Prime, the latter convinced that Monarch is destroying his ‘perfect world’. After a prolonged battle Prime is able to rip open the nanoweave armor, resulting in a massive explosion that destroys all life in that universe except for that universe’s Monitor and a plant within his personal shields. Captain Atom has reappeared as a prisoner in Project 7734, with little memory of his time as a threat to the multiverse.

HISTORY:
The Monitor was a cosmic entity that spawned on the lifeless moon of Oa in response to a cosmic imbalance caused by Krona's experiment that created the matter and antimatter universes. The Monitor spent his early life in silent meditation learning the secrets of the universe. However, sensing his antimatter enemy's existence and knowing it wanted him dead, they engaged in a million year war - ending in a draw, with both rendered immobile and unconscious. They remained that way for nine billion years, until the dawn of the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

When Pariah inadvertently freed the Anti-Monitor, the Monitor was awakened as well. He planned to protect the Multiverse. He observed Pariah trapped within his netherversal chamber.

Building a ship, the Monitor scoured the Earths for heroes he would need for his ultimate confrontation with the Anti-Monitor. He raised Harbinger from a child to serve as his assistant. Together, they gathered data on the Multiverse.

As anti-matter swept across the Multiverse, the Monitor grew weaker as each positive matter universe was destroyed.

The Monitor was killed by an Anti-Monitor controlled Harbinger, his powers being transferred to her - part of his plan to save the remaining universes.

HISTORY:
Spector's father, a rabbi, managed to escape Germany when Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia. Spector was born in the U.S.A.. Marc refused to follow his father's calling; he could not understand why Elias never fought back against persecution. Over time, he started creating imaginary friends, such as Steven Grant and Jake, so his father interned him in the Putnam Psychiatric Hospital, where he stayed till the death of his father.

After the death of his father, he attended the funeral and a late luncheon, but after hearing Khonshu's voice he ran away.

After this, he enlisted in the Marines. After two tours of duty, he became a field agent of the C.I.A.. There he worked with several people who would later interact with Moon Knight, including William Cross, Amos Lardner, and his own brother, Randall Spector. Randall killed Spector's girlfriend Lisa with a hatchet to keep her from exposing a gun-running scheme; Spector retaliated with a grenade and assumed Randall was dead.

After leaving the C.I.A., Spector enrolled in illegal fights, where he befriended "Frenchie" Duchamp and both became soldiers-for-hire. They took on several assignments, mainly in Africa and South America. Spector later went to trial for assassinating the president of Bosqueverde, a South American country.

Spector and Frenchie took on a job in Egypt for Raul Bushman. Whereas Spector worked for the money, Bushman seemed to enjoy plunder and killing. When Bushman killed archaeologist Peter Alraune, to find an Egyptian pharaoh's tomb, Spector punched Bushman to protect Alraune's daughter Marlene. Furious Bushman mortally wounded him in the desert, killing everyone in the place except for Marlene, Frenchie and a villager willing to tell him the secrets of the tomb. Spector managed to reach the tomb before he collapsed, and Marlene and the crew laid him beneath an idol of Khonshu. His spirit had an encounter with Khonshu, who promised to save his life in exchange for his service. Spector agreed, although he later considered this encounter a hallucination. Restored to life, he punished Bushman's men, while Bushman himself escaped.

The material that was used to make the stone of Khonshu has been revealed to be Vibranium. In addition, the cause of Spector's powers was not from the God Kohnshu as once believed but from inhaling dust from the ancient Egyptian tomb where he was killed at, the ingestion of the Vibranium gave Spector his powers and made it impossible for him to die. All those who would die in his presence would also become unable to die. As a result his brother Randall and his girlfriend Marlene Alraune ended up having the same affliction.

Finally having found a purpose in life, Spector applied himself fully. He, Franchie, and Marlene (now his lover) moved to New York, taking the idol along. With their help he developed the costume, equipment, and persona of Moon Knight. With his fortune, in addition to support his new career of fighting crime, he began using his Steven Grant persona as a financier and Jake Lockley as a cab driver whose purpose was to gather information at street level. His original persona, with its multiple facets, faded into the background. Still, leading four separate lives put great mental stress on Spector. Lockley developed a network of informants, including the homeless Bertrand Crawley, diner owner Gena Landers, and her sons Ricky and Ray.

Spector's first major job as Moon Knight came when the Committee hired him to capture a werewolf named Jack Russell. He succeeded, in large part thanks to the silver cesti he was equipped with. However, he learned that the Committee planned to turn Russell's sister into another werewolf and use them both as weapons. He did the honorable thing and switched sides; Spector and Russell shut down the Committee.

Spector faced Conquer-Lord on his own before briefly joining the Defenders to battle a Life-Model Decoy version of the Zodiac. The first skeleton from Spector's closet to bedevil Moon Knight was William Cross (now the villain Crossfire), from whom Spector rescued the Thing. He met Spider-Man for the first time when they teamed up against the Masked Marauder, who at the time called himself "Big M" and employed the original Cyclone.

Moon Knight had reached the big time and encountered super-villains with more frequency. Very early on, he had to face a serial killer dubbed the Hatchet-Man, who claimed to be his brother Randall.

Spector investigated the death of Amos Lardner when his body arrived in a crate on Spector's doorstep. He learned that Amos' brother James had become a test subject in a CIA experiment (one that Spector himself had participated in), and when Amos investigated, he was forced to undergo the same treatment and committed suicide as a result.

Spector faced other menaces: some super-powered, some insane, some simply ambitious, but all dangerous. He confronted the Slasher, a man slaying homeless people in a effort to find his father. He tracked down Bushman and sent him to jail, but Bushman struck back by having Midnight Man (a more recent foe) destroy Spector's idol of Khonshu. By this time Spector was convinced that Khonshu had given him his powers, as well as a focus in life. His precarious self-control broke down until Marlene produced another idol, which she claimed was the original.

Moon Knight's next major foe, Morpheus, turned out to be a patient of Doctor Peter Alraune, Marlene's brother[25]. The idol of Khonshu sustained Spector again when he first encountered the Black Spectre, who tried to terrorize people into supporting his bid for mayor. Nobody, including Dr. Alraune, believed Spector when he claimed that Knowles was the Black Spectre, but Khonshu gave him the strength to prevail.

A battle with the Fly left Spector unable to walk, but he quickly recovered. To stop an ancient Egyptian curse, Spector briefly hosted the spirit of a priest of Khonshu, which helped to integrate his personalities, but later Spector suffered another serious mental breakdown and decided to abandon all of his alternate identities to settle down with Marlene; by reconciling with his father's legacy, though, he found a measure of peace and decided to retire from crime-fighting.

As part of his new life, Spector gave up his Grant identity and sold the idol at a gallery in Paris. He had a vision, however, telling him that "the image is delivered up to evil." Called back to action as Moon Knight, he learned that Marlene could no longer tolerate his schizophrenic behavior, and she left him. In the Egyptian Valley of the Kings, Spector met three ancients priests of Khonshu, who told him that Khonshu had chosen him as an earthly champion and gave him new weapons. Only later did Spector realize that Khonshu himself was influencing him subconsciously.

Spector joined the West Coast Avengers for a time after rescuing some of their members who had been time-shifted to Pharaonic Egypt. Hawkeye got help from Khonshu, in exchange for designing Moon Knight's new weaponry. Khonshu alerted Spector in the present day, who helped the Avengers return home safely.

While an Avenger, Spector for a time became romantically involved with Tigra, but he never became a true team player. After a while, there was a controversy amongst the team upon the discovery that Hawkeye's wife Mockingbird had allowed the Phantom Rider (who had sexually assaulted her) to die while cast away in time. Spector, Tigra, and Mockingbird left the team as a splinter group. Together with Bill Foster they daunted the High Evolutionary, and they also fought the Night Shift. When they consulted with Hellstorm about Phantom Rider's ghost haunting Mockingbird, Spector learned of Khonshu's presence in his own psyche, and Hellstorm convinced the moon god to depart. Freed from Khonshu's meddling, Spector left the "mainstream" hero business and gave up the mystic weapons the priests had given him.

Back in New York, Spector reunited with Marlene and went back to less-cosmic crime-fighting. He soon learned that Jeff Wilde, the son of his old foe Midnight Man, had tried to take his place during his time on the West Coast and now wanted to become an ally as Midnight. The new Midnight fought crime for some time together with Spector, until Midnight was seemingly disintegrated during battle with the Secret Empire. Wilde had survived, however, and was turned into a cyborg soldier by the Secret Empire, told that Moon Knight had been responsible for his father's death. These difficulties with the Empire drew Spector (as well as Darkhawk, New Warriors Night Thrasher and Nova, the Punisher, and Spider-Man) into a near war. At the end of the climactic battle, Wilde again seemingly perished, this time crushed by debris when the Empire's headquarters collapsed around him.

Spector underwent another near-death experience. He then found that his brother, Randall had survived, and in addition had been trying to take his place as Khonshu's champion. Randall (as Shadowknight) succeeded in usurping Spector's powers temporarily. With the Punisher's help, Spector defeated Shadowknight. The power levels of his foes kept increasing, so Spector continually upgraded his own equipment. He retooled his Kevlar armor and steel crescent darts with Adamantium, and his public persona with a firm named Spectorcorp.

During the Infinity War, Spector had to contend with Moonshade, an evil twin of himself created by the Magus (himself an evil twin of Adam Warlock). Luckily, Moonshade suffered from the same blunted focus caused by Spector's multiple personalities, while Moonshade's threat had the effect of sharpening Spector's own focus. Moonshade also had an Achilles' heel: the adamantium in Spector's new weapons. During another cosmic event, the Infinity Crusade, the Goddess (another aspect of Warlock) selected Spector as one of the most spiritual beings on Earth, thanks to his near-death experiences and his devotion to Khonshu.

Seth Phalkon attacked Spectorcorp with a computer virus. Rather than let it destroy the entire conglomerate and his employees, Spector quarantined it in his own building, Shadowkeep, along with himself. He died in the ensuing meltdown.

Khonshu resurrected Spector again to counter another plot by Seth, who had recruited Spector's old foes Bushman, the Black Spectre, and Morpheus. Using an idol of Seth, they tried to break up a peace conference at the UN. Spector foiled the plot by destroying the idol. The CIA tried to assassinate Spector because he knew too much about their mind-control programs. With an old flame from the agency, Candace Calder, he exposed the latest refinements in their sinister schemes.

Spector journeyed back to the spirit realm to help the Black Panther reconnect with Bast, his own patron deity. Although Nightmare impersonated Khonshu and tried to divert them from their purpose, the real Khonshu helped them finish the quest.

Sometime later, Spector was approached by Doorman of the Great Lakes Avengers, who was seeking new blood for his team after Dinah Soar's death and Mr. Immortal's (repeated) suicide attempts. However, Spector mistook Doorman for the Midnight Man, leading to an altercation. Needless to say, Moon Knight did not end up joining the Great Lakes Avengers.

Despite his mistrust of teams, Spector joined a group that tried to bring in the Punisher for his excessive vigilantism, and he put up the funds for a headquarters. Zaran wounded Spector severely, and the team's building exploded in the same attack. Drained of money, health, and enthusiasm, Spector retired again.

Spector finally exorcised one of his demons after a brutal rooftop battle, when he killed Bushman and use the sharp end of his crescent dart to carve off Bushman's face. Moon Knight survived, albeit with broken knees. Crippled and despondent, he turned to drugs and alcohol. The Civil War passed him by, although both Captain America and Iron Man tried to enlist him for their sides.
Recent encounters have forced Spector to shake off his lethargy, at the price of some psychological stability. He still believes that he is Khonshu's champion, but in his mind Khonshu wears the face of Bushman. So far he has faced a returned Midnight, the Taskmaster, and a revitalized Committee.

Moon Knight had to fake his own death when Osborn sent his Thunderbolts to kill him. After that, he fled to Mexico using the name Jake Lockley for a while. He eventually met up with the Punisher and the Zapata Brothers to help save Carmen Alcantara from her father's drug cartel.

Sometime after, Moon Knight returned to New York with the intention of being a hero, but still struggled against his violent nature and was hounded by a small imaginary Khonshu. While trying to walk the path of good, he made a bold return by stopping a bank robbery without killing any of the robbers. Much to Norman Osborn's disdain, Moon Knight was now a hero and not a murderous vigilante, so he summoned the Hood and Profile to take care of him. The Hood supernaturally revived Bushman and recruited him as part of his force to combat Moon Knight. When investigating a warehouse at the docks, Moon Knight was ambushed and shot by Bushman, the two engaged in a violent fight and Bushman ended up impaled by a machine gun. As Moon Knight was about to carve off Bushman's face once more, a vision of Khonshu appeared, yelling at Moon Knight to obey him. Bushman then pleaded for Moon Knight not to take his face off and Moon Knight reluctantly doesn't.

After Norman Osborn's defeat in the Siege of Asgard, Steve Rogers was appointed his replacement. He reorganized the Avengers, recruiting Moon Knight to be on his team of Secret Avengers. Their first mission sent the team to Mars. Later on Moon Knight was part of a team that infiltrated a Secret Empire undercity beneath Cincinnati. Some of his teammates, such as Beast, did not trust Spector due to his mental illness.

Spector moved to Los Angeles to work as a television producer. Marc Spector was at a party celebrating the success of his new show, "the Legend of Khonshu", which he based on his own past. His celebration was interrupted by a call, and he went outside to meet Wolverine, Spider-Man and Captain America. Cap informed Spector that criminals had been migrating to Los Angeles, and as he now operates there he wanted Spector to figure out why. He reminded Marc that as an Avenger he never has to work alone.

At the docks, Moon Knight spied two armed henchmen, making a pickup for a mysterious employer. They approached Mr. Hyde, who demanded payment. When it is not given, Zabo killed the two men. Moon Knight attacked Zabo. The fight moved onto Hyde's boat, and Moon Knight discovered that Hyde was selling a Ultron's head. He made off with the Ultron's head, diving into the water.

The henchman's employer appeared above the boat as Moon Knight dove deeper. He refused to pay Hyde. In revenge for killing the henchmen, he attacked with a massive burst of energy and absconded with the rest of the Ultron body. Moon Knight took the Ultron head back to Captain America, Wolverine, and Spider-Man to discuss the situation. However, he was in fact completely alone, and the three Avengers were mere hallucinations.

Dressed as Spider-Man, and thinking that he was in fact Spider-Man, Marc confronted the criminal Snapdragon at a strip club she operated. Partway through the fight, his Wolverine personality took over. He was defeated, but saved by Echo, who was undercover there.[55] She explained that she had briefly been an Avenger and they had mutual friends. He later asked her out on a date at Pink's Hotdogs to make up for blowing her cover.

Spector had hired Buck Lime, an ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, to assist him, having tested him by pretending to be Bullseye. Buck confirmed the authenticity of the Ultron's head and encouraged him to give it to the Avengers; at the same time, the new kingpin of L.A. ordered Snapdragon to kill Moon Knight. For that, Snapdragon hired the team Night Shift.

Meanwhile, the assassin known as Daken moved to L.A. He had wanted to become lord of the city's crime scene, but found a new kingpin already in place. A string of murders attributed to a 'Claws Killer' was attributed falsely to Daken Moon Knight was also hunting the Claws Killer. The Claws Killer ended up being Marcus Roston.

Night Shift attacked Moon Knight and Echo on their date. The police tried to arrest them, and at the suggestion of his Cap persona he initially surrendered. When a handful of officers tried to unmask him he fought back and escaped. Echo also escaped, stealing a cop car. He later tried to kiss Echo, angering her. Later, Echo showed up at his house and apologized. The real Avengers arrived, having been contacted by Buck and informed of the Ultron's head. Rogers told Marc he trusted him and his plan for catching the mysterious kingpin, but emphasized the riskiness of the plan.

Buck went to Snapdragon's club to offer the kingpin the head. Although he knew this was a trap, the kingpin revealed himself: Count Nefaria. The Ultron head was a fake, filled with a drug that weakened Nefaria. They battled, but Nefaria fled. However, Echo had recorded everything; they now had hard evidence of the kingpin's identity and his intentions. She also witnessed Moon Knight talking to his other personalities. Moon Knight took Snapdragon to the police. Although the evidence was solid, the captain didn't want to anger Nefaria and thus did nothing.

Whilst out defeating criminals, Moon Knight and Echo were ambushed by Nefaria. They tried to flee with little success. Standing their ground, they knew it was an impossible fight. Nefaria slew Echo with his optic beams, enraging Moon Knight as he had developed an infatuation with her. His Wolverine personality slew the other two Avenger persona's and took control. He savagely attacked Nefaria, wounding him. Nefaria's blast backfired, seriously harming both himself and Moon Knight. The police found Spector and took him to a hospital. He woke up to discover himself handcuffed to a bed. Buck Lime gassed the hospital and rescued him.

Nefaria asked his daughter, Madame Masque, for assistance. She traced the Vibranium in Echo's staff and found Buck and Moon Knight's hideout. She retrieved the Ultron head. Together, Buck and Moon Knight defeated Masque and reclaimed the head. During the fight, Moon Knight manifested another personality, this one based on Echo. When L.A.P.D. showed up to arrest Count Nefaria, he attacked their station. Moon Knight followed him but was defeated. This lead Nefaria into a trap, as Spector had called the Avengers. Thor knocked out Nefaria and he was taken into custody. The Ultron head was given to Tony Stark, who made quite an impression on Marc. Moon Knight manifested a new Iron Man personality. Three months later, "Legend of Khonshu" is cancelled, and Moon Knight abandoned L.A. for New York.

Moon Knight took the side of his fellow Avengers against the X-Men. He was sent to keep an eye on the Jean Grey School together with Falcon and She-Hulk. He took an aggressive attitude to his job, and after exchanging barbs with Frenzy, he attacked her, leading to a fight. After She-Hulk injured some kids in the belief that they were a greater threat, a full scale conflict erupted with the rest of the school's faculty joining in the battle.

With laundered old money, Marc paid himself his return to New York and new technological equipment. He developed a new "Mister Knight" persona with which he started working along with NYPD Detective Flint in numerous different cases, while with his Moon Knight persona he continued his normal vigilante activities. He was also told by a psychologist that he didn't suffer from Dissociate Identity Disorder, but his mind had been "colonized" by Khonshu, with each of Khonshu's four aspects taking on one of the three personalities he has at a time or his more psychotic moments. The apparent multiple personalities were his brain's way of making sense of what was happening to him.

During his following adventures, Moon Knight faced a sniper on revenge against his former employers; battled a gang of punk ghost terrorizing downtown Manhattan, for which he needed to use a magical skeleton armor; investigated apparent paranormal-activities caused by the death of an infected patient of Doctor Skelton; raided an abandoned building where a gang had kidnapped a little girl name Scarlet;[68] and a new Black Spectre, a NYPD officer set out to kill Moon Knight in order to replace him as a vigilante to gain the approval of Detective Flint.

After thwarting the assassination attempt of a mercenary hired by Spector's psychologist Elisa Warsame to murder General Aliman Lor,[70] Marc was intervened by Elisa, who used hypnosis to claim Khonshu from him in order to have her revenge.[71] Marc lost all of his multiple personalities, and was captured and kept in an undisclosed prison, from where he managed to escape, after another act of saving Aliman Lor's life cost him being blamed for the attack. Once Khonshu gave up on Warsame, he returned to Marc, and helped him finally stop her from killing Lor.

After this series of events, Khonshu sent Marc and his allies to an illusory mental hospital designed to wear away the last of Marc's mind, this way freeing his body for Khonshu to inhabit and use to enter our world In spite of everything, Marc resisted and, after a confrontation with his alternate personas, Marc realized that, to become whole again, he had to kill Khonshu. After returning to the Hospital, he finally managed to kill Khonshu and free himself of the illusion once and for all.

HISTORY:
Danielle Moonstar is a Native American of the Cheyenne Nation. Moonstar's mutant powers emerged at puberty, but she could not control her ability to create visible images of people's greatest fears. Manifesting the images at unexpected moments alienated her from everyone in her community, except for her parents William and Peg Lonestar, and her grandfather, the chief and shaman Black Eagle.

One night, Dani created a symbolic vision of her parents' deaths. Shortly thereafter, Dani's parents disappeared during a trip to the mountains. Moonstar believed them to have been killed and her dreams were haunted, thereafter, by a vision of a demonic bear, whom she believed to be responsible for their deaths. In fact, Moonstar's parents had been transformed into the demonic bear by an as yet unrevealed cause. This bear intended to work the same transformation upon Moonstar, but the spells of Black Eagle kept the demonic bear away from her.

After her parents' disappearance, Moonstar was taken in by their friends, the Roberts. Danielle became close friends with their son, Pat. After she had been at the Roberts' home a week, Moonstar was at Sunday dinner with them, when Pat said something to her that provoked her. Moonstar lashed out at him with her psychic power and the images of the objects of Pat's greatest fear and desire appeared before Pat and his family. Moonstar fled to the mountains, where Black Eagle raised her over the following years.

Finally, Black Eagle sent a letter to Professor Charles Xavier asking him to provide Moonstar with the training she needed to utilize her powers. Xavier had become a friend of his son, William, Danielle's father, when both Xavier and William were in the army. Xavier and William had become blood brothers and Xavier had become acquainted with Black Eagle. When Black Eagle asked Moonstar to go with Prof. Xavier, she angrily refused, believing all Caucasians to be her enemies. In her anger, Moonstar unintentionally created an image of Black Eagle's death as he had foreseen it in a prophetic dream. Black Eagle ordered her to go with Prof. Xavier and she agreed.

Before Prof. Xavier arrived, Black Eagle was murdered by agents of Donald Pierce, a member of the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club, who intended to overthrow its leader, Sebastian Shaw. Pierce was determined to kill Prof. Xavier, as well as other superhuman mutants. Moonstar, unaware of Pierce's involvement, vowed to take vengeance for her grandfather's death. Moonstar soon found herself hunted by Pierce's agents, but she was saved by the mutant Karma, who arrived along with Prof. Xavier. Dani agreed to work with Prof. Xavier to get her revenge on Pierce.

After Moonstar helped Prof. Xavier and other young mutants he had enlisted in defeating Pierce, she and the other young mutants became members of his new team, the New Mutants. This was a group of young superhuman mutants whom Prof. Xavier trained in the control and use of their powers at the School for Gifted Youngsters. Moonstar decided to remain with them to honor her grandfather's request, despite her initial hatred of all Caucasians, and she soon came to regard her fellow New Mutants as close friends, regardless of their racial background. Dani became an especial friend of Rahne Sinclair (Wolfsbane), in part due to the psychic rapport they shared when Wolfsbane was in non-human form. Moonstar originally took the code name Psyche, but later changed it to Mirage, after the illusions she creates.

Despite her power, Dani was a valuable member of the team in her own right, being the only one to pass the team's first test in the Danger Room. Although the team was originally created because the Professor was possessed by the Brood Queen egg inside of him for future embryos, they stayed together. The team battled the powers of the Brood Queen inside of Professor Xavier that was using Dani's powers to create a horrific landscape.

With Black Eagle dead, the demonic bear was no longer prevented from seeking out Moonstar and she fought it outside Prof. Xavier's mansion, where it nearly killed her. Upon discovering Dani hideously mauled, the New Mutants rushed her to the Mid-County Medical Center. The Demon Bear was not through with Danielle and he infiltrated the hospital, thinking to finish the job and possess Danielle's soul. The Bear transported the team to the Badlands, presumably his dimension, where the New Mutants battled the bear. Her teammate Magik used her Soulsword to release Moonstar's parents from the spell they were under, returning them to their human forms. During this skirmish, the Demon Bear had possessed Sharon Friedlander and Officer Tom Corsi and turned them into demonic Native American warriors under his control. They reverted back to normal humans, but Sharon and Tom still kept the appearance of Native Americans. Moonstar was reunited with her parents and she eventually recovered completely from her injuries, thanks to the Morlock Healer.

Under Prof. Xavier's guidance, Moonstar not only learned how to keep her powers under control, so that she only used them when she so desired, but also learned how to use her powers to create images other than those of the objects of people's fears. Eventually, Dani and Cannonball became the team's leaders.

Later, Amora the Enchantress kidnapped the New Mutants to Asgard. Dani found herself on Valhalla, where she rescued a winged horse from a group of hunters. The winged horse was one of a herd of such creatures belonging to Odin, ruler of Asgard. The horses were ridden by the female warriors called the Valkyries who guide the spirits of the recently deceased to the Afterlife. Mirage forged an immediate psychic rapport with the horse, whom she named Brightwind after her pony on Earth, and the horse selected her to be his rider. This "bonding" bestowed part of the Odin power upon Mirage, and thus she became endowed with the Valkyries' power to perceive the coming of death. When the New Mutants returned to Earth, Brightwind came with Mirage.

Soon thereafter, Professor Xavier left Earth for an indefinite period of time, leaving his school and the New Mutants in the charge of his former enemy, Magneto. While with her parents, Moonstar ran into her old friend, Pat Roberts, who still hated her. When Pat was injured and stuck in a blizzard, Moonstar saw the death mark on him and fought Death, in the form of an old gunfighter. Moonstar defeated Death, but Pat remained in a coma. The next day, Death returned in the form of an old Indian woman who convinced Dani that Pat would live, but in an irreversible diabetic coma. Dani agreed to let him go.

In Nova Roma, Dani was thrown under the High Evolutionary's de-powering machine. Two mutants, Bulk and Glow Worm, had just been de-powered and, with their dying breath, reversed the machine on Dani. After being taken-off the machine, Moonstar acquired the ability to make her spirit images real, but the images would not go away until a new image was made. Later, Dani also manifested a Spirit Lance, which she carried as a weapon. Dani went on a ride with Brightwind and, after falling into a pond, created a Porsche to return home. Dani was pulled-over and, after she manifested a fake license, the car vanished. Brightwind returned and she fled home, vanishing her fake license for her Spirit Lance. After thinking it was too big, Dani made her Spirit Lance into a necklace, which she constantly wore, as she needed to maintain at least one mirage at all times. Dani decided to keep her new powers and the origin of her necklace from Magneto.

The mutants did not stay under the care of Magneto, as Mirage and Cannonball decided to move the team out from under Magneto's thumb. Magneto revealed that he had joined the X-Men, led the New Mutants, and entered the Hellfire Club to build a foundation for control and peace among mutant kind. The teams were to be his army against the coming war between humans and mutants.

Magneto allowed the New Mutants to leave, stating that, in time, they would find his ways right. After initially deciding to go home and live normal lives, the New Mutants were introduced to X-Factor and began to live on Ship, merging with the X-Terminators.

Hela, the death goddess of Asgard, attempted to take over Asgard, and infected Dani and the other Valkyrior with a mystical fever, surrounding both Mirage and Brightwind in flame. Hela planned to use Moonstar to gather humans to her forces to defeat Thor, but Dani tried to fight off her influence for as long as she could. The New Mutants went to Dr. Strange to help her. Dr. Strange pulled Dani's astral form onto the Astral Plane to calm her pain. Dani's body continued to battle the New Mutants and the surrounding area, until her astral self saw Rahne save a young girl from her body and she returned and asserted control, creating a machine to cover her in ice while Dr. Strange returned everything she had damaged to normal.

When the New Mutants were attacked by Freedom Force Dr. Strange teleported the remaining New Mutants to Asgard. Moonstar fell under the sway of Hela and nearly killed Odin. Hela was defeated by the combined forces of the New Mutants and the Asgardians, and the New Mutants were returned to Earth; all except Moonstar who chose to stay behind, hoping to repair the damage as a Valkyrie.

This angered Hotamintanio, one of her Cheyenne deities, who came to Asgard himself to bring her back. Danielle ultimately persuaded him to leave her to her own devices by promising to eventually return to her tribe.

Moonstar was eventually exiled from Asgard, and her winged horse Brightwind was renamed Darkwind. Dani was contacted by the international law enforcement agency S.H.I.E.L.D., and asked to infiltrate the Mutant Liberation Front (M.L.F.) as a deep cover operative and betray the group from within.

While she was away in Asgard, The New Mutants had turned into the strike team called X-Force. To maintain her cover, Moonstar was forced to battle her old friends in X-Force alongside other members of the Front. Dani also secretly became an informant for Cable, at one time assisting him when he was tracking down Feral. She also helped the other mutants who were captured during the Younghunt when they were attempting escape from the Gamesmaster's prison. After the M.L.F. and X-Force battled Prime Sentinels during Operation Zero Tolerance, Moonstar left the M.L.F. and joined X-Force.

During their encounter with the Damocles Foundation, Dani was transmorphed for a short time by Arcadia, giving her the ability to channel quantum energies, which allowed her to affect matter at a subatomic level.

Dani could see these quantum energies as interconnected particles and waves, and she could affect those connections, changing the physical nature of all things, including an electromagnetic field such as the one generated by Magneto during X-Force's encounter with him in Genosha.

When Dani and Arcadia meet up again in San Francisco, Dani's powers were removed from her and a dimensional rift was formed, also causing four alternate Moonstar's to be created. Each of these Moonstar's represented a different aspect of Dani - New Mutant, Valkyrie, M.L.F. member, and quantum-powered. With the help of the quantum-powered incarnation, Moonstar was able to stop Arcadia and after the rift was sealed, Dani was returned to normal.

When X-Force decided to bring Pete Wisdom into the group to train them Dani quit X-Force. Six months later, Moonstar joined the X-Men part-time while she attended college and functioned as a part of the X-Men's support team along with Forge.

When Professor Xavier was outed as a mutant and the Xavier Institute was made public, Dani returned. Professor X asked her help in finding several mutant children and bringing them to the school, and also asked her to become a teacher. Dani was hesitant to take him up on his offer, but agreed to bring in the potential students, recruiting Sofia Mantega, David Alleyne, Kevin Ford, and Joshua Foley. During a confrontation with the Reavers, Kevin attempted to kill Donald Pierce, and Dani was forced to use her powers to stop him. This caused Kevin to quit the school, making Dani question her place at the institute. Initially deciding to leave the institute again, she agreed to stay and teach after all the kids she had recruited asked for her personally to become their advisor. Dani even signed legal papers to become Josh Foley's legal guardian after his family abandoned him. A brief New Mutants reunion occurred when Donald Pierce attacked the school, and Dani joined her old friends to defeat him.

With the school rebuilt after an impostor Magneto had attacked it, older students were assigned to squads to better hone their abilities. Moonstar became the adviser to the New Mutants squad, made up of the youths she had recruited previously. However, after the events of M-Day, Dani lost her powers and was sent home along with all the other depowered students and faculty.

Dani was hired by Henry Gyrich to help Trauma to learn control of his powers for the Initiative. Trauma demonstrated that he couldn't control his powers by turning into everyone's worst fear. He turned into the Demon Bear but Dani showed him that she conquered her fear long ago. However, because she taught Trauma to use his powers in a therapeutic matter, Gyrich send her away, for he wanted to use Trauma as a weapon.

When the X-Men were temporarily disbanded, Donald Pierce posed as Cyclops and gathered some of the younger students as a hit squad. He claimed the New Mutants had become a "New Brotherhood" and turned the kids loose on them. Danielle and her teammates fought back and revealed Pierce's duplicity to the kids.

After Pierce was imprisoned, Moonstar and Sunspot remained on at Utopia as teaching instructors for the Young X-Men squad.

Magik later returned, stating that she was from the not too distant future and that the world and New Mutants would die without her intervention. Cyclops allowed Cannonball to reorganize the original New Mutants squad. Sam originally decided against Dani until she fought him in the Graymalkin Industries Danger Room and proved that she was still useful to the team. Their first mission was to subdue a recently returned Legion.

During Norman Osborn's attack on the X-Men in San Francisco, Dani was sent by Cyclops to Las Vegas to make a deal with Hela to gain back her Valkyrie powers, in order to fight Ares, the Dark X-Men, and the Dark Avengers.

As her part of the deal, Dani was convoked by Hela to be her Valkyrie during the Siege.

The New Mutants battled the Inferno Babies, where Dani's arm was broken by Loca. After being beaten, Dani was further beaten by Timothy and other members of Project Purgatory, while Sam was made to watch. Dani was freed by attacking demons and killed Loca.

When Kuurth attacked San Francisco, Cyclops sent Dani to meet with Asgardian death-goddess Hela in the hopes that she could explain what happened. However, on the way to Las Vegas, Dani was forcibly moved to Hel.

Dani and Brightwind explored Hel and met with hordes of dead, who fled in fear from the Draumar, the bad dreams of the Serpent who was buried in Hel eons ago. Dani arrived and the New Mutants joined Hela's dead army in battle with the Draumar. To frighten and defeat them, Hela showed the Draumar Nate's memories about his life and a world about which they knew nothing. After the Draumar were gone, the team returned to Utopia.

Dani was targeted by the henchmen of Caroline le Fay, who believed her to be an easy target. However, Dani was prepared for her unwanted guests, and unleashed a volley of arrows on the closest attackers, taking them out with ease. She was able to take down many of the henchmen before finally being taken to le Fay's base of operations. Le Fay intended to use Dani as a conduit to awaken the Dísir. Dani was freed by Valkyrie, Misty Knight, and Hippolyta (Hela's chosen champion). Dani joined the women and resumed her position as Hel's Valkyrie. After battling the Dísir, Valkyrie became aware that she was once one of them, but her memory of this time had been erased.

Brunnhilde allowed herself to become the Maiden of Rage once again, and attacked, killing the other Disir. Eventually, Valkyrie, Misty Knight, Hippolyta, Dani, Elsa Bloodstone, Clea, and others banded together to form the Fearless Defenders.

Following the revelation that the Terrigen Cloud that was covering Earth was poisonous to mutants, Storm's team began using Dani's death-tracking abilities to track down those who were afflicted with the M-Pox and gets them to Storm's X-Haven located in the Limbo dimension. Magik teleported Dani to a nightclub in Los Angeles where the specter of death loomed large. It was so large, Dani learned, because a lot of people were about to die -- way more than just the mutant suffering from the M-Pox. It turned out the densely populated club was actually in the thrall of the sick mutant, a powerful psychic that was forcing all of the club-goers to party as if nothing was wrong. And then Dani Moonstar met her target: The daughter of the long dead villain Mastermind, Lady Mastermind. Dani and Regan engaged in a psychic battle as they both realized they have similar issues with fear and anxiety. Dani got through to Lady Mastermind, who finally relented and let her guard down, thus breaking her control over the club-goers and letting her own facade down, she even asked Dani to put her out of her misery. But Magik and Dani instead teleported Lady Mastermind back to X-Haven, where she got treatment for her M-Pox fever and her symptoms started to go away.

HISTORY:
Dr. Michael Morbius was a brilliant scientist born in Greece who became a Nobel Prize winning biochemist. He suffered from a debilitating blood disease and developed an experimental treatment involving vampire bats and electroshocks. Its side effects turned him into a pseudo-vampire who needed to consume blood in order to survive, and gained typical vampire characteristics such as an aversion to sunlight, and the powers of flight, enhanced strength, speed, and healing (a healing factor). His overall appearance changed as well: he gained fangs, his nose flattened to appear more bat-like, and his skin became extremely pale. Additionally, the victims of his bite would turn into living vampires themselves. When he first experienced the change, he killed the assistant who had helped him develop the treatment.

Morbius traveled to the United States by ship, and in his blood thirst slaughtered the crew. He tried to kill himself but failed and took a room at a beach house where he encountered Spider-Man who was, at the time, trying to reverse the process that had given him six arms. Morbius attacked Spider-Man, but their battle was interrupted by Dr. Connors who transformed into the Lizard.

Morbius escaped, but not before biting Connors (which partially returned him to normal). Spider-Man and Connors realized that Morbius' blood could be a cure for both of them and decided to help each other. They tracked him down and after another battle extracted some of his blood, causing Connors to remain in his human state and Spider-Man to lose his additional arms.

Morbius was washed ashore and found by Jefferson and Jacob Bolt, on whom he tried to feed after being revived (he turned Jefferson into a vampire). Meanwhile, Morbius' fiancé Martine Bancroft tried contacting the Fantastic Four to help Morbius. The Human Torch sought out Morbius' former colleague, Hans Jorgenson, and joined forces with Spider-man during another battle with Morbius. During the fight, Morbius accidentally killed Jefferson Bolt and fled.

When news of Jorgenson's supposed kidnapping by Spider-Man reached Professor X (an old colleague of Jorgenson), he sent the X-Men to track down Spider-Man. When he discovered that Morbius was truly to blame, he sent the mutants to capture him instead. After a lengthy battle, the X-Men managed to defeat Morbius and rescue Jorgenson. Jorgenson was able to cure Spider-Man, who thanked the X-Men before leaving them to deal with Dr. Morbius.

Morbius saved Amanda Saint from the Demon-Fire cult and helped her in the search for her parents.

Michael Morbius and Martine Bancroft battled Reverend Daemond and encountered the Caretakers of Arcturus. He visited the Land Within, home of the Cat People. Battling their greatest warrior, Balkatar, Balkatar and Morbius worked together to take down Daemond. He was hunted by Blade the vampire slayer until Blade became aware of his plight, the two cooperate to battle Daemond. Daemond creates Tara, a Psychic vampire. Morbius is able to kill Daemond and Tara. He then encountered Simon Stroud, a CIA agent tasked with hunting him. Together, they battled the Helleyes. Morbius, Martine, and Stroud later battled vampires at Mason Manor.

Morbius joined the team Legion of Monsters, who united by chance to investigate the appearance of the Starseed. Though Starseed was a benevolent entity, both the Werewolf and Morbius, overcome by their monstrous hungers, attacked it. Ghost Rider and Man-Thing attempted to intervene, but Starseed was unable to overcome his fear of Man-Thing and suffered severe burns at his touch. The dying Starseed attempted to cure the Legion of their monstrous forms but was too weak and died. Morbius visited his old scientist friend Ronson Slade in hope for a cure to his disease. Ronson, however had become a werewolf and Morbius was forced to kill him.

After Morbius and the Thing battled the Living Eraser from Dimension Z, Morbius used the Living Eraser's dimensional transportation devices to return to Earth.

The Empathoid who wished to learn how it felt to be a vampire used Morbius to attack Spider-Man, but Morbius resisted. Spider-Man managed to knock out Morbius, causing the Empathoid to leave his body and possess Spider-Man to battle Morbius once more. He lead him into a football stadium where the emotions of all the sports fans overwhelmed the Empathoid, causing it to leave Spider-Man's body and pass out. Spider-Man allowed Morbius to depart unharmed.

Driven mad by his bloodlust, Morbius battled Spider-Man again, but was restored to his human form when he hit by a freak bolt of lightning. He remained human for some years, assisting both Spider-Woman and the West Coast Avengers at various times, but his vampiric condition eventually returned.

Morbius was registered under the SRA. He was sent by S.H.I.E.L.D. to convince Blade to register.

Michael worked with A.R.M.O.R., an organization tasked with keeping an eye on extra-dimensional activity on the planet. As such, when cross-over with a zombie infected universe occurred in Man-Thing's swamp, Command, was dispatched to investigate. However, it was revealed that Morbius had been incapacitated and replaced within the organization by a zombified, extra-dimensional version of himself. How long this had been the case was not clear. A member of A.R.M.O.R came in to check on the zombie Morbius and found the real Morbius but was then bitten by the zombie Morbius (and incited a zombie plague). When Morbius was able to move again, he snuck behind his zombie counterpart and drove a stake through his heart. This turned him into ashes.

After the zombie plague was taken care of, it was discovered that the Zombie Simon Garth and the head of Deadpool's zombie counterpart escaped. Morbius gathered the Midnight Sons to search for Deadpool and Simon Garth and disposed of anything infected with the zombie plague.

While staying in Monster Metropolis, the remaining pieces of a dead Frank Castle were brought by the sewage system. Morbius and the Legion of Monsters revived him into a Frankenstein's Monster shape. They needed him to fight against Hunter of Monster Special Force who killed monsters for "not being of God."

Morbius was working on a cure for the zombie virus but was unable to find it, as the virus's genetic code was too complicated to decipher. Morbius found a Planestorm has opened a gateway to alternate realities. Each of them had a different zombie virus, and the only way to decipher his home realities' virus was to compare it with other zombie viruses. Morbius took some equipment from A.R.M.O.R and sent Howard the Duck and Machine Man to the alternate realities to bring him a sample of each virus. Some time later, the director of A.R.M.O.R Charles Little Sky discovered Morbius' plans and the missing A.R.M.O.R tech and put him under arrest.

Later, he secretly joined Horizon Labs with the help of his friend Max Modell (who was in charge of the lab). He took the identity of Number Six and, in a hazmat suit to protect his true identity, assisted Mr. Fantastic in preparing the cure to the spider-powers virus. When Peter Parker tried to investigate the identity of "Number Six," he accidentally provoked Morbius, who had been using the cure to try to develop a basis for a cure for his own condition, into a frenzy. Morbius was driven to leave when it was revealed that he had been working with the The Lizard. He had been trying to find a cure for both of their conditions. He used DNA samples from the corpse of Doc Connors' son (Billy) to create a cure that would restore the Lizard to human form, but he failed to recognize that the Lizard had fully destroyed Doc Connors' human persona. They left the Lizard alone in Morbius' lab, allowing the Lizard to release blood into the laboratory's air vents to provoke the injured Morbius into attacking the other scientists. Morbius fleed the laboratory with Spider-Man following. Morbius was captured by Spider-Man and locked up in a cell in the Raft.

When Peter Parker mind was transferred into Doctor Octopus' dying body, he organized a group of prisoners at the Raft to capture Spider-Man (who now contain Doc Ocks mind). During the break out, Morbius offered his help but was refused; he chose to work with the Lizard instead.[43] The cells turned off and Morbius escaped from the Raft.

Morbius lives in the crime filled street in Brownsville where he meets a street thug named Noah St. Germain. The two end up having a fight in the subway, which leaves Morbius mortally wounded with a gunshot wound in the chest (even after saving St. Germain's life from an on coming train). Morbius kills Noah St. Germain and his gang. After killing the Godfather of Brownsville, and incites a gang war against The Rose (Phillip Hayes). After the Battle of Brownsville, he escapes to Manhattan, to Horizon Labs, to finally cure his vampirism. Morbius works with the new superior Spider-Man. Morbius found out The Rose has an Ultimate Nullifier in Brownsville and teams up with the Legion of Monsters. Morbius kills the Rose.

CONTACTS: Galactus

HISTORY:
Morg served as a herald of Galactus after Galactus' previous herald, Nova, was expelled for sparing suitable planets to sate his hunger. Subsequently, prior to consuming his latest planet, Galactus was confronted by Morg; a court executioner who had betrayed his own race by executing his own people for those that had defeated them. In the presence of the world-devourer, Morg showed no fear; instead exhibiting a respectful defiance. Impressed with Morg's demeanor and wary after losing several heralds to attacks of conscience, Galactus decided to employ this most brutal and remorseless specimen as his latest herald.

Morg gladly accepted the task of being Galactus' herald. As a weapon, Morg wields a double-edged battle axe — previously used by him in his executioner duties.

Two former heralds, Silver Surfer and Firelord, learned about Morg after discovering that Nova had left Galactus. They expressed their concerns to Galactus about Morg's low morals but were dismissed. Morg battled and easily defeated them both.

Seeking reinforcements, Silver Surfer and Firelord recruited the rest of Galactus' former heralds: Nova, Terrax and Air-Walker, whom they had to unearth from his grave and reassemble. During this time, Morg discovered the Well of Life, a powerful pool akin to the Fountain of Youth on a planet to which he had lead Galactus. He immersed himself in the pool, which enhanced Morg's powers exponentially before he returned to his master and the planet was destroyed.

The assembled heralds confronted Morg together and were easily defeated. In the battle, Air-Walker was severely damaged again and Morg killed Nova by blasting her in the back when he was thought to have been beaten. Galactus was not pleased with this as he had not ordered her death. Galactus removed the power cosmic that he had imbued in Morg, leaving him with only the power he'd gained from the pool he'd discovered. In his weakened state, Morg was killed by Terrax. To repay Galactus the inconvenience of losing his herald, both Firelord and Air Walker volunteered to stay with him.

Months later, Galactus resurrected Morg, imbuing him with the Power Cosmic once more but removing the increased effects of the Well of Life, and offered him a second chance. Morg then sought his missing axe. Morg went off in search of Terrax to exact vengeance upon him, but during their battle they were ambushed by robots working for the villain Tyrant and were taken captive.

Morg, along with fellow captives Silver Surfer, Terrax, Gladiator, Beta Ray Bill, Morg, Jack of Hearts and Ganymede fought back against Tyrant and were easily defeated until the appearance of Galactus disrupted the battle. Morg had been incapacitated in the battle, like all those involved, save for the Surfer. Tyrant stated that everyone there could go free, except for Morg, for no other reason than to spite the world devourer.

Tyrant imprisoned Morg and continued to siphon off his Power Cosmic and store it into his orbs. Eventually Morg escaped and went back to his master Galactus and served as herald again for a brief time. In a battle between Galactus and Tyrant, Morg found the Ultimate Nullifier and used it to melt most of Tyrant's body then betrayed both masters by cutting off his own arm while he tried to escape the final nullification blast (Tyrant's drone attached itself to the Nullifier and Morg's arm thus not allowing Morg to separate himself from the Nullifier). His escape failed and the Nullifier exploded, destroying Galactus' ship and all aboard. Morg and Tyrant were presumed dead. Galactus was believed dead for a while but has resurfaced since, first reappearing to feed off of the energies of Hyperstorm.

Morg was confirmed dead as Annihilus failed to retrieve the Power Cosmic from his corpse.

CONTACTS: Exiles; (home reality) X-men; Avengers

HISTORY:
Kevin Sidney was born a fully activated mutant.

Hardly ever serious, Morph attempts to liven up otherwise tense situations with mindless banter, a defence mechanism he created to cope with the loss of his mother from lung cancer at a young age (leaving him with a hatred of cigarettes), and the hardships he faced while living with his father. He learned early on that his natural, bleached white and noseless appearance was not welcomed among his peers. Rather than be persecuted, he learned to stay in a human form for long periods of time. Once he became an X-Man, he decided that he no longer needed to do this.

He has revealed little about his past, except for his involvement with his Earth's Avengers, X-Men, and New Mutants.
Morph is a hero from a parallel world who was a member of not only the X-Men, but also the Avengers. Unique son of loving parents, in his universe Morph, a shapeshifter, managed early on to use his powers, and so giving everyone what they wanted from him. A fairly good baseball player, a friend, a good student. Morph always used his power to keep everyone at ease with him, being at ease with someone as himself only with his parents. When his mother passed on, Morph tried in every way to cheer up his emotional distraught father, who, unable to let his suffering go, chose to enroll his son in a boarding school, that luckily happened to be the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. Able to cheer up his fellow friends, the X-Men, he became their field leader, and soon became the most loved Avenger of his universe. Then the mysterious Timebroker appeared to him, explaining to him that he had become unhinged from time as a chain of events had caused his realities as he knew it to change. In that new reality a wounded Morph has become unable to maintain his form, and slipped into a coma, being only a white muddy substance in Beast's lab. Hoping to save his own future, he became a member and the comic relief of the Exiles, a group of universe-hopping heroes trying to save realities from ripples and alteration. He soon befriended his teammate Sunfire, and although he was interested in a romantic relationship, accepting the lesbian nature of his friend. He always took care of her, and her death left him emotionally wrecked.

Morph helped the team take down Proteus by impersonating the Maestro and weakening Proteus with a steel strip in his head. Morph went to take down Proteus but Proteus knocked the steel plate out of his head and took over Morph's body. He roamed around the multiverse possessed by Proteus. Proteus was then brainwashed with technology from another reality to believe that he is Morph. Due to the adaptive nature of Morph's body, the presence of Proteus does not burn out his metabolism. Morph's original identity and personality was believed to be dead at this point.

Recently, the true Morph returned and gave Proteus the chance for them to work together, and Proteus accepted. However, Proteus was absorbed by the Crystal Palace in Morph's place. Later, Morph served in the role of Timebroker for a new team of Exiles.

CONTACTS: Human Torch; Fantastic Force

HISTORY:
In an effort to destroy the Fantastic Four, the Skrull Emperor tried feverishly to come up with a plan to defeat them. The Skrull General, Kalamari, suggested sending someone in as a spy, but the Emperor knew that they could not realistically duplicate any of the four’s powers.

Then Paibok appeared and pointed out that they could make a duplicate of someone close to the four, picking Alicia Masters, and out of a group of Skrull women, Paibok chose Lyja for the mission. The two had once had an affair that had ended badly, and Lyja was unsure if his choice was a privilege or a punishment. Either way, she was chosen and studied Alicia’s face, mannerisms, and spent countless hours being trained in everything the Skrulls knew about the Fantastic Four, the Thing, and Alicia herself. Lyja was even equipped with contact lenses that would render her blind in her human form, and she learned to operate without sight.

The Skrulls waited patiently for the right moment; then they found it as the Fantastic Four were beamed away by the mysterious, alien construct that appeared in Central Park. They acted quickly to replace Alicia, and Paibok took the original away.

But when the three members of the Fantastic Four returned, Lyja was shocked to find She-Hulk in place of the Thing, whom she had expected to return. The Human Torch reluctantly told her that Ben had stayed behind and was replaced by She-Hulk, thinking that Alicia was heart-broken over the loss of her love. Lyja’s plans were in shambles, but she reacted quickly and turned to Johnny, who she intended to get close to as a confidant. However, Lyja made a bigger mistake and fell in love with Johnny, and the two were later married in a private ceremony that the Puppet Master nearly broke up until he realized how happy his "niece" seemed to be.

The happy couple spent many years happily wed; but one day, when the Thing prepared himself a midnight snack, he heard noises coming from Mister Fantastic's laboratory. Lyja was there, attempting to destroy Reed’s Brain Analyzer before he could discover that she wasn’t really Alicia. Ben confronted her as an intruder, who appeared as a shadow, and continued to change into various forms to elude him, until he rounded a corner and found Alicia there-who claimed she encountered nothing. Ben explained what he saw, though the rest of his team were skeptical. Later, Lyja discussed it with Johnny, who refused to believe that it was simply a hallucination. Lyja suggested that it could have been someone like the Puppet Master. Then, right on schedule, Ben slammed his way through the door alongside the Puppet Master and came after the woman disguised as Alicia. Johnny tried to stop him, but the Thing eventually snuffed his flame and threatened Lyja to reveal herself to the whole team, proving that she had duplicated Alicia.
Reed had to stop Johnny from killing Lyja before she could tell them the truth. Only when the Invisible Woman used her force field on him did he burn himself out and calm down. Lyja then told them all the details of her mission, explaining that she had been Alicia since before Johnny married her. The Torch refused to believe this, thinking that he had married the real Alicia, and Lyja had simply replaced her later. But Lyja insisted, explaining that she had shared his bed and his life, and was soon to have his baby. Then, together with the Fantastic Four, Lyja donned Sue’s original uniform (to differentiate her from other Skrulls) and agreed to help them rescue the real Alicia in exchange for her freedom. Again, Johnny was furious but he restrained himself. When they invaded the Skrulls’ hidden base, Lyja armed herself with a stun gun and fought alongside the four. Though once Paibok appeared and turned on Johnny for the imagined indignities he felt the human had made Lyja suffer, she was torn between the man she had lived with and her former lover. Then, before Paibok could fire a lethal beam at Johnny’s back, Lyja transformed into a giant, alien beast and threw herself in the way of the beam. The Thing dropped a massive pillar on Paibok, putting him out of commission.

Lyja was injured and lay dying. The Torch ran to her and asked her why she would do what she did. She told him that she wasn’t pregnant -she only wanted him to stay with her- and that she loved him, and would always love him. She seemingly died in his arms as he professed his own love for her. Mister Fantastic saved the real Alicia from her suspended animation and they were forced to leave Lyja’s body and escape as Paibok recovered and came after them.

Later, when the Fantastic Four fought the Magnus, Paibok joined up with Devos the Destroyer, and together they revived Lyja and imbued her with her own superpowers. Calling her Lyja the Lazerfist, they plotted their revenge and soon attacked the Torch while he was attending Empire State University. Paibok and Devos chased him around, firing at him, until Lyja appeared. Feeling abandoned, Lyja hungered for revenge and used her new bio blasts to try and destroy the Torch. She again claimed to be pregnant, and together with her two allies, she poured fire upon the Torch until he lost control and used his ultimate weapon against them: His nova flame. Johnny turned white-hot and partially burned down Empire State University while Lyja and her cohorts fled.

They continued to taunt Johnny. Lyja and Paibok appeared in a crowd during his arrest, revealing themselves enough to send him into a frenzy, but acting as innocents once he turned on them; further damaging his image.

But Lyja could not hate him as Paibok expected, and she sneaked out of their orbiting ship and defended Johnny when he and his teammates stood off against Ghost Rider, Wolverine, Hulk, and Spider-Man: the Secret Defenders. She stopped the Ghost Rider from killing him, claiming that as her right, but fought alongside of him when they were taken to the Moon shortly afterwards by Uatu The Watcher. Johnny saved her, as well, from an extra-powered Doctor Doom, before the Inhuman Black Bolt stopped Doom and they returned to Earth. She agreed to join Johnny when he was charged and imprisoned, and later accompanied the Thing to Alicia’s apartment where she met the woman she impersonated.

Lyja attended Johnny’s trial, which was shortly broken up by Paibok, Devos, Klaw, and Huntara, a future relative of the Richards’. Lyja fought the villains, and her former allies, until Paibok reminded her that her baby would not be born properly without a "genefit of a Lacaroo". The fight went out of Lyja, and she slumped to the ground, but Johnny appeared to save her, though he took a blast in the back from Klaw. Afterwards, while Reed worked to fix a mutated Ms. Marvel, Lyja left Four Freedoms Plaza and disguised herself as a woman named Laura Green and became angry when Johnny hit on her. She later collapsed in pain due to her pregnancy, but made the then-teenage Franklin Richards promise not to reveal it. She continued to vacillate between trusting Johnny and hating him, but finally revealed to him that if she didn’t have the Lacaroo birthing medicine, their baby would die. Luckily, they were captured by Paibok and Devos and taken to the Skrull Homeworld, where Lyja and the remaining members of the Fantastic Four followed the lead of the Invisible Woman after the apparent death of Reed Richards, along with Doom. On the way off the planet, Susan grabbed a vial of birthing medicine.

During a mission undersea alongside Namor and the Inhuman Triton, Lyja went into labor. Triton swam both Lyja and Johnny away and back to a hospital while the rest continued on. With very little time left, Lyja entrusted herself to a human doctor, and Johnny handed him the birthing medicine she needed. The doctor discovered that the medicine put Lyja in a spongy state, and he searched the mass for the baby. He pulled out the implant that gave her the energy powers, and tossed it away. Then he finally found the baby, which turned out to be an egg. Lyja and Johnny spent the next few days coming back to their incubated egg. Johnny even considered quitting the team, as he feared for the life of his baby with all the dangerous things going on at the time. He had finally decided to stay behind while the rest went out on a portentously fatal mission to stay behind with his child. A man appeared named Raphael Suarez who showed up as the Collector appeared to take their very unique child, and Raphael helped fight off a robot sent by the Collector with the Lazerfist powers he accidentally received from Lyja’s implant. Moments before, Lyja, herself, discovered that her own powers were gone. After analyzing the egg, the Collector pronounced it a sham and disappeared. Lyja revealed that Johnny was not the egg’s father, but it was actually an artificial implant. She explained that she had tried to tell him, but couldn’t. As the egg began to hatch, Johnny was whisked away to fight alongside his teammates.

Then the egg hatched and a huge, tentacled monster sprang forth. Lyja and Raphael fought it, with the help of Ant-Man and Namor, but only when Lyja used her Skrull abilities to transform into a twin of the creature, was it finally beaten. Johnny and the rest of his team reappeared and Lyja explained that the creature was a Sha’Barri, implanted in her to destroy the Fantastic Four. She tried to make it up to him, and offered to start their life over, but Johnny refused to trust her again and they both went their separate ways. Lyja continued to keep tabs on Johnny as Laura Green, but stayed estranged from him. She eventually decided to stay on Earth and assume a human life, as she no longer felt connected to her Skrull heritage.

However, still in love with Johnny, Lyja stalked him while as a human, Laura Green. She did eventually reveal herself, however. She became an ally of the Fantastic Four, where she and Johnny seemed to be on track to reconciling their relationship. However, in the wake of the Onslaught crisis, the Fantastic Four were thought dead, and Lyja left to attempt a normal life, masquerading again as a human woman.

During the Skrull invasion on Earth Lyja was working in a book store when a Skrull approached her, telling her to join them. They told her to blow up the Baxter Building. Hoping to keep them out of harm's way, she came up with a plan to send them to the Negative Zone. Posing as the Invisible Woman, she gained access to the Baxter Building and created a system crash in Reed's lab that sent the building and its surroundings to the Negative Zone. When Johnny Storm was attempting to find out what was going on, Lyja as Sue tried to convince Johnny that the Thing was a Skrull. Failing at this attempt she revealed herself. She and Johnny embraced each other after Johnny saved her from an incoming police car. In dropping her guard she became a victim of a Negative Zone jellyfish. Johnny saved and brought her back to the destroyed Baxter Building. After fully recovering from her injuries, Lyja amended her actions and joined Ben, Johnny and Reed and Susan's children into finding a way back to their dimension. When Ben, Johnny, Franklin, Val and the Tinkerer were ready to leave the Negative Zone she refused to leave, because she wanted to find out who she was.
