[Earth-G]Witchlands!

Infamous Witchlands:
The INFINITE RIVER of Kiev:
Found a day's travel to the south of Kiev there exists a river of unnaturally pure water---a river that didn't exist two years ago. To those along the river's shores, the river has neither beginning nor end and seems to encircle the entire world. Step away from the shore, however, and the river he appeas to be nothing more than a muddy puddle of brackish water.

But this witchland river is no illusion or trick; while along its shore, the river s infinite, and the water is the purest on Earh. This spatial anomaly is not the only such witchland in existence, but it is the most notable.

The INFINITE RIVER of Kiev:
Powers: [13pp.]
This is the Purest Water on Earh: Features 1 (the river CANNOT be befouled by mundane means). [1pp.]
This River has Neither Begining nor End: Dimensional Pocket 20 (Feats: Insidious 2 [the river seems to just go on and on and on]; Flaws: Limited [only along the river, itself]). [12pp.]
----/::This is a completed Infinite River of Kiev build.

Infamous witchlands:
The Labyrinth:
Centuries and millennia in mythology are sometimes awoken into witchlands: such is the case of the Minotaur's Labyrinth on the isle of Crete. Whether the labyrinth actually existed or not is irrelevant; millennia of mythology/storytelling provided so much residual psychic energy the myth came to a very real life.

Found on and below the isle of Crete, the Labyrinth is accessible only by those who boast large balls of yarn to use to find their way out again...all other seekers find nothing but frustration. The entrance to the Labyrinth changes constantly, and is never found in the same location twice. Indeed, the interior of the Labyrinth is highly morphic and never repeats itself.

In the Labyrinth fires are mysteriously snuffed out and one's sense of direction becomes hopelessly useless. One may wander for weeks, eventually starving to death.

Is there a Minotaur in this Labyrinth? Perhaps. Though it is never encountered, the sound of a great hulking bovine abomination roaming to and fro may be heard on and off, for hours at a stretch. But no Minotaur ever appears.

The Labyrinth:
Powers: [18pp.]
The Beast is Always Searching, Searching, Searching: Environmental Control 2 (sound; Flaws: Limited [Minotaur-roars, only]). [1pp.]
Fire is Forbidden: Nullify 3 (mundane fires). [3pp.]
This Labyrinth Goes on Forever: Enhanced Feats: Equipment 12 (the Labyrinth, itself; Feats: Variable Descriptor [any "Labyrinth Layout"]). [14pp.]
----/::This is a completed Labyrinth build.
Here there be dragons.

[Earth-G]Steiner, the Many-Winged Devil!

Post by Hoid »

Infamous Starbon:
Steiner, the Many-Winged Devil:
Crunch Writeup: Here ye go!
PL9/149pp. Most Starborn are not hideous, but neither are they beautiful. Some, however, are strange, which is exactly the case with a Germanic Starborn known only as Steiner, the Many-Winged Devil. Steiner is hunted aggressively by the Lutheran "Church" (such as it is), as he is a great danger to the Protestant movement. You see, even though Rome has condemned Steiner and seek the man's death, Steiner himself is the bane of Protestantism. Steiner fights on behalf of the very organization that seeks ha death, the Roman Catholic Church.

Steiner is winged, albeit mothlike rather than birdlike. His body and head are vestigial, absorbed halfway into the massive, shimmering wings that now take up 75% of his body. Steiner no longer walks, instead flying or floating wherever he goes. The Many-Winged Devil is aptly named, for his "wings" are actually vast numbers of lesser, smaller wings and some are subsidiary organisms acting as wing-extensions. At will, these wings can act as shield enough to turn aside both sword, arrow and flame.

Though Catholicism makes no bones about how it views Steiner, Steiner was raised staunchly Catholic. Steiner believes, with perfect faith, that his damnation is the will of God. He further absolutely believes Hell awaits him after death. But Steiner also believes he was given this horrid fate, to sacrifice his own salvation that Protestant "heretics" be shown either the light...or death.

And so Steiner stays perpetually one step ahead of both Catholics and Lutherans, exterminating one on the behalf of the other.....
Steiner, the Many-Winged Devil wrote:"I am damned, yet still I do His work...!"
A guy like Steiner is cognitive dissonance, personified!

[Earth-K]Half-Giants!

Post by Hoid »

Earth-K: Half-Giants!
=///..,.What are Half-Giants?
The offspring of Godgiants and their human concubines, Half-Giants are the superhumans of Earth-K. This means Half-Giants have protean unDNA. Much taller than most humans can ever hope to be, Half-Giants contain tiny segments of the Mirrors of the Void Giants---to be specific, a single Mirror, unique to each Half-Giant!
As they're not entirely human, Half-Giants have no Exemplar.

=///..,.What powers do Half-Giants possess?
All Half-Giants possess a single Mirror which is unique to said Half-Giants, which may be Wished into activation at a moment's notice. These Mirrors are 'traditional' superpower-sets, and can be simulated via several methods:
the Alternate Form power;
the Animal Mimicry power;
the Battle Form power;
the Container power;
the Normal Identity Drawback;
the Plant Mimicry power;
the Power Loss Drawback;
a Summonable Device;
a Triggered Shapeshift power;
and so forth.
All Half-Giants have Growth 2 (Flaws: Permanent), due to their Giantish heritages. Some have much higher ranks in Growth but this is somewhat unusual.

Furthermore, 90% of all Half-Giants’re immune to TEGS, though this is NOT universally true.

=///..,.What weaknesses do Half-Giants possess?
Their great weakness is that they must, inevitably, return to an extremely tall but otherwise powerless 'mundane' shape. In this mundane form, Half-Giants are just as fragile as any other mundane human being.

=///..,.Are all Half-Giants the direct descendents of Manifold Giants and humans? In other words, can Half-Giants breed true, or does only a direct coupling produce superhuman offspring?
It's...complicated. You see, the inheritance breeds thinly quickly, and needs constant refreshment lest it die out, completely.

=///..,.Does this mean all Half-Giants are loyal to their Manifold Giant parents?
No, not really. Manifold Giants are careless parents at best, so often leave their halfbreed offspring to the human to raise on their behalf.

=///..,.What is The Becoming?
It is a little known secret carefully obfuscated by paranoid Godgiants, but: Half-Giants have the potential to metamorphose into full Manifold Giants, a process known as The Becoming. Placeholder.

There’s no magic in the Forever Tree, buuuuut....

They’d actually be:
On Earth-A, Lumpen Ones;
On Earth-B, Giants;
On Earth-C, demigods;
On Earth-G, Nephilim or Starborn;
On Earth-H, gorgons;
On Earth-K, Half-Giants;
On Earth-L, Demiogres of various kinds;
And on Earth-M, Moonborn.

[Earth-L]A setting-overview!

Post by Hoid »

[Earth-L]A setting-overview.
OGRE PROTEAN UNDNA:
...,,,What is protean unDNA?
Found on Earth-Ki, Earth-L and Earth-Q, protean unDNA is the morphic genetic code of the original root-species that later split into Fish, Ogres and Manifold Giants. Having protean unDNA qualifies you automatically as Titanblooded!

...,,,What are Ogres?
See here. Ogres are Titanblooded.

...,,,What are Demiogres?
See here. Demiogres are Titanblooded.

...,,,Who is Earth-L’s imperiex?
The Horror That Walks on Teeth, a supermassive Ogrestructure, is Earth-L’s imperiex. The sibling of Earth-K’s Ogrefather, the Horror That Walks on Teeth is destruction incarnated in flesh. Genderless and non-sentient, the Horror That Walks on Teeth roams aimlessly, devouring and terraforming everything it encounters. Placeholder.

...,,,What was the Day of Ogrefalling?
The Day of Ogrefalling was the apocalyptic 20 hours in which the Ogres, coming from deep space, made landfall on Earth. It triggered a decade-long war, which slowly ended, for the most part, with Ogre victory. Placeholder.

...,,,What are magi?
There are two types of magi: baseline magi, which are human psychics uninfected with Ogresymbiosis, and Ogremagi, which are baseline magi infected with Ogresymbiosis. Basically, both forms of magi are powerfully psychic.

Baseline magi are a natural evolution on the part of Earth-N’s Homo sapiens, but we’re quite rare—-at least, until the Day of Ogrefalling, and on that day, tens of thousands of latent baseline magi ‘woke up’ and seized their inheritance. This has puzzled groundling scientists for nearly an entire century, as genetic examination of baseline magi reveal absolutely NO connect with Ogres or Demiogres; baseline magi utterly lack protean unDNA!

Nevertheless, baseline magi are susceptible to Ogresymbiosis—-as more and more years tick by, the number of baseline magi shrink whilst the number of Ogremagi continues to grow.

-//-\\-

NON-OGRE SUPERBEINGS:
...,,,Tell me about the Ogreborn (‘Nephilim’) of Earth-L.
See here.

...,,,Are there any superhumans on Earth-L unconnected or only tangentially to either Ogres or thoughtforms?
Yes. Biosculpts exist, as do magi and the Perfected.

Befouled, on the other hand, are something else ENTIRELY! Placeholder.

...,,,Who is Earth-L’s Dreamingborn?
Mot the Godtamer (PL9/150pp, who is xeno-bodied and can conjure but not control Ogres of all kinds! He’s manifested in several forms, but always appears male. Placeholder.

...,,,Who Are Earth-L’s elementals?
They are:
Corpseking, elemental of bones (‘earth’), leader of the Fundamental Four; Evangelist, elemental of speech (‘fire’), PR-guy for the Fundamental Four; Tempest, elemental of lungs (‘air’), reconnaissance-guy for the Fundamental Four; and Vitae, elemental of blood (‘water’), ‘occultist’ of the Fundamental Four.

The Fundamental Four inhabit the Clockwork of Los Angeles, and’re fiercely anti-Demiogre, in outlook.

-//-\\-

OGRE HOLLOWS:
...,,,What is Ogresymbiosis?
See here. Ogresymbiosis is a method of attaining Titanblooded status.

...,,,What is a Hollow?
Inside each Ogre is a vast network of hollowed bones, sac-like organs and other cavernous spaces lined with giantcoral. Millions of humans may live comfortably inside a single such Hollow, without the Ogre in question’s immune system reacting in the slightest. However, giantcoral is deeply poisonous to Ogres, but is incredibly tasty and nutritious to humans, so, in this instance, humans are more like symbionts that parasites! Placeholder.

...,,What is the Drone?
The Drone is a psychic signal emitted entirely within a Hollow to calm Hollowfolk down and help them acclimate to life inside the Hollow.

But...of course...the Drone is addictive, and soon becomes necessary merely to maintain mental stability. This effect helps keep a Hollow populated. Placeholder.

...,,,What is life like, inside a Hollow?
Strange. And that’s putting it mildly. The Drone quickly calms fears and anxieties, and the biofurnace provides constant-if-dim lighting. Placeholder.

...,,,How do people eat and drink?
They eat giantcoral, a strange parasitic growth that is toxic to Ogres but delicious and sustaining to humanity. As for drinking water, that, too, is provided by the Hollow itself. Hollows possess organic water-desalinization capabilities, allowing even sea water to be safely drunk without the slightest harm. Placeholder.
...,,,...or sleep and clothe themselves?
The old-fashioned way, of course! Which means leaving the Hollow periodically is an absolute necessity for the continuance of human habitation. Placeholder.
...,,,...or maintain hygiene?
Giantcoral pulp has cleansing and odor-eating properties, making bathing in it a disgusting-but-viable method of keeping clean and fighting B.O. In addition, giantcoral grossly reduces the need for dental care, as its mild regenerative properties slowly repair any dental damage done. Placeholder.

...,,,How has life inside a Hollow changed humanity (aside from the obvious (such as Ogresymbiosis)?
Placeholder.
...,,,...what about language?
In the beginning, linguistic drift was small and imperceptible...then...
...the Drone began to rewrite the language centers of their Hollows’ inhabitants, ‘overwriting’ their native languages with strange, almost nonsensical tongues that are the exact same as the languages spoken by Earth-K’s Manifold Giants! Placeholder.
...,,,...what about pastimes?
Placeholder.
...,m,...what about religion?
Placeholder.

...,m,How are Demiogres viewed by Hollowfolk?
Demiogres are viewed by Hollowfolk as a dreadful necessity, as only Demiogres can safely explore a Hollow for new organs capable of sustained prolonged human inhabitation.

Nevertheless, Demiogres are on the rise, as more and more Hollowfolk becone infected with Ogresymbiosis. Hollowfolk are, over the next hundred years, going to become extinct, replaced entirely by Demiogres.

Because of this, Demiogres are beginning to form cultures and societies suited to their own alien natures. They speak bioconnected language, they revere Ogres as gods and slowly drift from what they once were into sailors on strange seas. Placeholder.

...m,,Do Ogres ever quarrel?
Most of the time? No.
However...certain months of the year Ogres become extremely territorial towards other Ogres. Most assuredly not a mating season (as mating has never been observed among Ogres), it is a period of time in which two Ogres running across each other engage in mindnumbingly horrifying violence, tearing each other apart...but never to the point of death. The fighting eventually dies down, and the loser crawls away to heal from its GREVIOUS injuries. Placeholder.
...mmm...how does this affect the Hollows in question?
Placeholder.

-//-\\-

GROUNDLINGS:
...m,mWhat are groundlings?
Groundlings are humans and superhumans who never made the move to a Hollow of some sort. Groundlings inhabit hidden townships, or are nomadic...or belong to a Clockwork. Placeholder.

...,,mWhat is a Clockwork?
A Clockwork is a groundling fortress-community, extensively militarized, with a heavy reliance on artillery and bomb-shelters. Most groundlings live inside Clockworks. Clockworks are crampt and claustrophobic, and privacy essentially doesn’t exist.

Most Clockworks are built in the ruins of pre-Ogrefalling cities, and typically name themselves after these old metropoli. Clockworks are extremely xenophobic, fearful of infiltration by Demiogres. (Ironically, it is Clockworks who make the greatest use of biosculpts.) This xenophobia extends to nearly every corner of the Clockworks society, from language to dress-codes to religion to pastimes. To Clockworkers, the different is by default the enemy.

...mmmHow has groundling culture changed, since the Day of Ogrefalling?
Placeholder.
...,,,...what about language?
Placeholder.
...,,,...what about pastimes?
Placeholder.
...,,,...what about religion?

[Earth-S]A setting-overview!

Post by Hoid »

Earth-S: The Roman Empire
Ruled by Emperor Hadrian and supported by the mighty Skytower Giants, the Roman Empire stands supreme. All of Europe belongs to Eternal Rome; Asia Minor is next: only Parthia stands in Rome's way.

All 210 Skytower Giants are citizens of the Roman Empire. All three types of Skytower Giant can be found, here, and every last one of them is a full Roman citizen!

The most famous Roman superhuman is Coda Invictus ("the Completely Invincible"; PL12/300pp male pyrokinetic skytreader Skytower Giant), though he’s not the most powerful of his kind. Other famous Skytower Giants include Centaur (PL6/150pp male equine-humanoid cloudspirit Skytower Giant); Chimaera (PL12/300pp female fire-breathing stormbull Skytower Giant with massively toxic blood); the Spidergoddess (the imperiex of Earth-S), a female skytreader. Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Egypt: the Empire’s greatest possession.
In Antiquity, Egypt stood above all others, a glorious jewel obsessed with death and eternity. Worshipping its kings as gods incarnate, Egypt played a pivotal role in the ancient world, and is heavily referenced in Jewish theology. Even the young, rebellious Christian faith holds Egypt as important, as they believed their god spent his youth, there. Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Most of Europe: Rome’s frontier.
Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Greece: cultural heart of the Empire.
Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Italy: political heart of the Empire.
Placeholder.

-//-\\-

What is the social standing of He Who Strides in Roman society? And where does he himself live?
Placeholder.

/-

Earth-S: The Parthian Empire.
The Parthian Empire is Rome’s greatest enemy, for a huuuuuge variety of reasons, chief among them the fact that, to date, all Skytower Magi are loyal Parthian citizens, all 190 of them.

Heavily decentralized, the Parthian Empire is nevertheless ‘ruled’ by King Mithradates IV (PL12/197pp minotaur Skytower Magus), who had his throne made more secure by himself becoming a minotaur Skytower Magus

Parthia is staunchly allied with Restored Israel and Judah: together, Parthian Skytower Magi And Israelite nephilim are more than sufficient to block any further Roman expansion eastward. However, the two kingdoms are religiously an ill-fitting alliance, and tension is high. Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Much of Eastern Europe:
Albania, Armenia and Georgia are Eastern European territories of the Parthian Empire. Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Hyrcania:
In our real world, Hyrcania successfully rebelled from Parthian rule in the 70s CE; HERE on Earth-S, however, Parthia reconquered Hyrcania with the assembled psychic might of its Skytower Magi. Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Mesopotamia: core of the Parthian Empire.

Persia: heart of the Parthian Empire.

-//-\\-

Turkey: the border with Rome.
Placeholder.

-//-\\-

What is the social standing of He Who Strides in Parthia, and how do Parthians explain their ‘Great God’ dwelling in Roman holdings?
Placeholder.

/-

Earth-S: Restored Israel and Judah.
Here, on Earth-S, the Jewish revolt in the 70s CE actually suceeded, thanks to the region's huge numbers of nephilim. A new king reigns (King Benjamin the Warrior [PL10/150pp ‘bad-ass normal’ mundane human]), who successfully drove Rome out and reconsecrated the entire kingdom to YHWH. Nephilim form the foundation for King Benjamin’s rule, and are all solidly pious and extremely watchful for Roman malfeasance.

Restored Israel and Judah are staunchly allied with the Parthian Empire: together, the Israelite nephilim and the Parthian Skytower Magi are more than sufficient to block any further attempts by Rome to expand eastward. However, the two kingdoms are religiously an ill-fitting alliance, and tensions run high.

(Though referred to as 'two' kingdoms, Restored Israel and Judah are, in fact, the same country.) Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Israel:
Placeholder.

Jerusalem: the city of God.
Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Judah:
Placeholder.

/-

Earth-S: Carthage.
Carthage, ancient enemy of Rome, has been reborn. But no superhumans guide this rebirth. No, it is something decidedly more ALIEN responsible: the devil-Apkallu! Placeholder.

/-

Earth-S: The Apkallu, Starvampires, Sunsphinx and Tlolkku!
Imperia: a Sunsphinx orbital city.
Floating serenely above, visible to all, Imperia is a Sunsphinx research-station charged with monitoring Earth-S superhumans. Skytower Giants sometimes stop by to chat, but the Sunsphinx discourage this and do their best to move away when this appears likely.

With a crew of 6,311 Sunsphinx, Imperia is captained by Overwatch Officer Jovian Arq-sur-Hhan (PL10/150pp, male, one of the rare few Sunsphinx without powers). Jovian is a skilled scientist, and was given this posting due to exemplary millennia of accomplished service to the people of Aeion. Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Outpost #333: a hidden Tlolkku research-facility.
Whereas Imperia is visible to all, the Tlolkku’s Outpost# 333 does everything it can to stay out of visible perception. Located in the Himalayas and buried under millions of tons of rock, Outpost #333 keeps watch on superhumanity via sattelites in orbit high above.

However...science may no longer be their priority, here. After the Twilight of the Gods, Outpost #333 discovered Earth-S’s Starvampires were crippled in the superhuman conflict. Outpost #333 has more-or-less abandoned its stated duty, in favor of hunting and exterminating the local undead. Other dimensions’ Tlolkku have begun to ship in troops and war-robots, as millennia of frustrated inaction finally boil to the surface. Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Sheol: an openly operating Apkallu fortress.
Though Christianity has yet to dominate the Roman Empire and Islam is still many centuries away, the Apkallu find plenty of myths of demons and ghouls to sustain themselves upon! To be specific, Earth-S’s Apkallu draw upon Jewish folklore and Zoroastrian mythology to assign themselves identities and coherent thoughts. Placeholder.

-//-\\-

Tartarus: a subterranean Starvampire 'nest'.
Found in Greece, Tartarus is a subterranean nest of Starvampires, who were trapped on Earth-S when the epic fighting of the Twilight of the Gods crushed the Starvampires’ portals, annihilated their power-sources and killed several thousand of their very strongest undead in cave-ins.

The Tartarun Starvampires are barely scraping by. They should have recovered by now, but, Tlolkku kill-teams sweep Grecian cave systems hunting for their Starvampire nemeses, killing those they find and either appropriating or annihilating any Starvampire technology the Tlolkku come across. This has kept Earth-S’s Starvampires fragmented, disunified and quarrelsome, as no Starvampire trusts any other Starvampire to not sell them out in return for clemency from the Tlolkku. Placeholder.

[Multiverse-wide]Exotics!

[Multiverse-Wide: Exotics!]
What are Exotics?
Found in every single reality of the Forever Tree, albeit always in extremely small numbers, 'Exotics' are 'one-off' superhumans that fit into no neat little category.

What kind of superpowers do Exotics possess?
Theoretically anything, as long as it isn't magic or magic-related, and as long as it can be explained via the wonky technobabble of comic book 'superscience'.

Do Exotics have Exemplars?
No. They do not possess Exemplars. By definition, unique entities cannot have 'perfect specimens'.

[The six Perpendiculars]Crossovers!

Post by Hoid »

CROSSOVERS!
Sometimes, people (or more eldritch beings) travel from Perpendicular to Perpendicular, having genuinely strange adventures! Placeholder.

the Apkallu:
Obviously, the sinister Apkallu have interests in the Perpendiculars; it's just...the Perpendiculars' Apkallu are much more alien in their deviltry, as the civilizations in a Perpendicular always bear only the smallest resemblance to Earth (if even THAT).

Because of that, these Apkallu are often very different than their parallel-Earth kinsfolk.

_-\|_-The Apkallu of Perpendicular-1 are nigh-universally equipped with dieselpunk cyberlimbs and weaponry of great efficacy.

Demon-Apkallu, known as marids, are the infernal heavy infantry mercenaries loyal only to the charnel House of Billions of Suns, the greatest enemy-nation the Stormblooded have ever faced!

Devil-Apkallu enjoy pitting themselves against the Stormblooded, viewing the sons and daughters of the Stormfather as their only worthy adversaries!

_-\|_-The Apkallu of Perpendicular-2 are primitive and primeval, given over to cataclysmic rages and impulsive actions with catastrophic consequences.

Demon-Apkallu dwell in the Bowl of Uruku, and use their technology to blend in seamlessly as 'gods' and 'goddesses'.

Devil-Apkallu have infiltrated the World of Stone's all-powerful Totemic Priesthood, but must move cautiously, lest they be uncovered and purged.

Djinn-Apkallu scorn Linntuuu and do not come here in very great numbers.

_-\|_-The Apkallu of Perpendicular-3

_-\|_-The Apkallu of Perpendicular-4

_-\|_-The Apkallu of Perpendicular-5 are slaves to the Great Old Ones, their paltry evil drowned out by the ocean of madness that is the Cthulhu Mythos. These Apkallu are violently xenophobic and have willingly declared war on their non-Mythos-worshipping kinsmen elsewhere in the multiverse!

Demon-Apkallu call themselves the Spawn of Ublo-Satha. They revel in protean, abhorrent mutagenic creation, spawning horrifying aberrations to plague the besieged humans of the Urbansprawl.

Devil-Apkallu call themselves the Sons and Daughters of Nyarlathotep. Chaos is everything to them, but it is carefully orchestrated chaos. The Sons and Daughters of Nyarlathotep spend decades putting elaborate schemes in motion that upon being properly unveiled unleash havoc throughout the Urbanspawl.

Djinn-Apkallu call themselves the Church of Yog-Sothoth.

_-\|_-The Apkallu of Perpendicular-6 are a spit-upon minority, treated with contempt by the Sunsphinx majority. Aeion's Apkallu were defeated by the Sunsphinx two decades ago in the Heavenlywar, and have been reduced to second class citizenry after unconditionally surrendering at the war's conclusion. Many Beings in the various Perpendiculars either believe they are divine or want others to believe they are divine---foremost amongst them, Perpendicular-6's Sunsphinx race of Space Gods.

Linntuuu’s gods are not normally interfertile with humans, even though they often take humans as concubines. Of interest, however, Linntuuu’s gods are interfertile with the bheasts of Perpendicular-4, creating hybrids of immense power, but little intelligence. The same is true of Earth-B’s Hulkbeasts (though this has yet to actually happen.) Both sets of hybrids would be interfertile with each other, bheasts, Hulkbeasts and God’s of Linntuuu.

Perpendicular-2's Ban on (Most) Demimachinery:
On Linntuuu for reasons still not entirely clear 99% of all Demimachinery simply ceases working on Linntuuu, proper (as in the planet, not the surrounding universe!). This is referred to by dimensional sojourners as 'the Ban'. Exactly what causes the Ban is still extremely uncertain (even as many theories float about suggesting possibilities)! Placeholder.

Once again, just amazed at how intricate this all is. Really interesting stuff, too. Dieselpunk monsters and Yog-Sothists and such.
