[Earth-H]arhats and gorgons!

Post by Hoid »

Earth-H: A dissertation on native superhumanity.
THE AWAKENED AND ASLEEP:
—————Who are Sleepers?
Sleepers’ are mundane humans. By definition, Sleepers have no superpowers.

97% of humanity consists of Sleepers. Placeholder.

—————What are ‘Sleepwalkers’?
Sleepwalkers’ are partially-Awakened psychics (‘gnosislearners’), only marginally powerful, being more akin to the low-powered psychics found in Star Trek or Babylon 5. Becoming a Sleepwalker forever annihilates one’s chances of become Awake, furthermore the Awakened can’t become Sleepwalkers!

0.5% of humanity consists of various kinds of Sleepwalkers. Placeholder.

—————Who are the Awakened?
Arhats and gorgons are Awakened, humans capable of accessing a HIGHLY specialized set of powers after years of a hellish training regimen.

2.5% of humanity consists of the two kinds of Awakened. Placeholder.

—————What is Awakening?
Awakening is the extremely dangerous practice by Way of which humans of Earth-H may become arhats and/or gorgons, and thus become superpowered!

/-

THE ASLEEP:
SLEEPERS:
—————What are Deep Sleepers?
Deep Sleepers are mundane humans who have no potential to Awaken, no matter HOW hard they try. Being a Deep Sleeper can be sensed by a select few arhats and gorgons, and appears to be genetic in nature.

It should be noted, however, that Deep Sleepers CAN become Sleepwalkers! Placeholder.

—————What are Light Sleepers?
Most humans are Light Sleepers, meaning they COULD, in theory, Awaken as an arhat and/or a gorgon. Light Sleeping is, presumably, genetic in origin—-meaning Earth-H may one follow Earth-Z to Space God Apotheosis...

It is possible, also, for Light Sleepers to become Sleepwalkers. Placeholder.

—————What are Fitful Sleepers?
Fitful Sleepers are incredibly rare, as they not only CAN Awaken, but feel overwhelmingly drawn to BECOMING Awake. Like Deep Sleepers, Fitful Sleeper-status appears to be genetic in nature.

Fitful Sleepers can’t become Sleepwalkers, as their genetic predisposition towards Awakening overwhelms all other possibilities. Placeholder.

-//-\\-

SLEEPWALKERS:
—————What are the Torpid?
Locked in a Sleep so severe it actually negates superpowers, the Torpid (‘gnosisdeniers’) are feared by the Awakened and coveted by Sleeper society. The Torpud cannot shut this negation-aura down, however—-it is always on!

Being Torpid is psychic in origin. Placeholder.

—————What are Waking Dreamers?
Functionally the same as the Torpid, Waking Dreamers (‘gnosisdeniers’) are superior to the Torpid, in that they can control their negation auras, turning them on and off as needed.

Being a Waking Dreamer in psychic in origin. Placeholder.

—————What are the Half-asleep?
Placeholder.

—————Can nephilim be Sleepwalkers?
Yes...it’s rare, though.

/-

THE AWAKENED.
ARHATS:
—————What are arhats?
Arhats are a type of Awakened superhuman ('gnosisbearers') native to this parallel-Earth who, through extremely dangerous asceticism may unlock pyrokinetic 'channels' allowing the generation of and control of fire, heat and, to a MUCH lesser extent, radioactivity. A rare few arhats are also telepaths and telekinetics, but none EVER possess cryokinesis.

Awakening powers as an arhat is dangerous in the extreme, as it requires decades of training to accomplish. Half of all would-be arhats die during the grueling training procedures.

Some arhats grow so emaciated they resemble corpses, and slowly become immobile. Known as full body sariras, these arhats sacrifice all mobility in return for immense pyrokinetic powers beyond that which is available to other arhats.

Roughly half of all Awakened are arhats.

—————That...sounds unpleasant...!
Yes, it it is excessively unpleasant but many willingly make the sacrifice anyhow in the hope of garnering great pyrokinesis!

—————How, exactly, does one go about becoming an arhat? Can[/i] Anyone do it?
Placeholder.

—————Can nephilim be arhats?
Yes, this is incredibly rare however.

-//-\\-

GORGONS:
—————What are gorgons?
A type of Awakened superhumanity ('gnosisbearers') native to Earth-H, gorgons are humans that have ritually blinded themselves after seven years of prayer and preparation. Upon successful Awakening a new gorgon may access the Mythsphere, a Resonance of thoughtforms conforming to human storytelling, to draw down a godform based on a single mythological monster. These Mythforms tend to be overwhelmingly physical in nature, with only a rare few possessing powers not physical in nature. Most gorgons, therefore, possess some degree of superspeed and/or superstrength.

Roughly half of all Awakened are gorgons.

—————Seriously??!
Yes. People will do anything for power, sometimes.

—————How exactly does one go about becoming a gorgon? Can anybody do it?
Placeholder.

—————Can nephilim be gorgons?
It’s only happened a couple of times, but, yes, it is possible.

-//-\\-

ARHATS AND GORGONS:
—————Why would anyone go to such extremes to gain powers?
Power is tempting, and the power of a god, however unpleasant, is extremely tempting, irregardless of suffering or ill-health.

For arhats, channeling fire is a pleasure even sex cannot compare with, and it swiftly becomes addictive. For gorgons, the raw physicality of godforms is akin to an ecstatic trance. Both types of Awakeners feel intoxicating bliss when using their powers...!!!

However...

...should an arhat cease his austerities or a gorgon’s blindness be healed, then they will lose their powers until these conditions return to ‘normal’. THIS is the price the Awakened pay for their superpowers—-a horrific price, indeed!

—————Is it possible to be both an arhat AND a gorgon?
Yes. But, it takes such unique individuals that it's only happened a few times; these 'enlightened beasts' were terrifyingly powerful and ruled entire countries as necromantic Beast-Prophets!!!

Currently, however, only two Beast-Prophets live, and, perhaps by choice, neither of them rule vast stretches of land and neither do they command the fate of millions.

[Earth-G]the Beast of Sherwood and the Dreaming Childe!

Post by Hoid »

Infamous Starbeasts:
The Beast of Sherwood:
Crunch Writeup:
PL10/90pp. Sherwood Forest has a monster in it...OR a noble defender. No one is quite sure which. A most unusual stag has taken up residence in Sherwood Forest, and everyone looks on with fear and trepidation.

Once a poacher in the king's forest, George O'Shae was transformed by the Green Star into a magnificent stag. A hulking specimen with a massive set of antlers, the Beast of Sherwood has lost his intellect, but retains his human creativity and his obsession with the forest that is now his home.

All predators---even human ones!---that enter Sherwood Forest learn to regret it, and swiftly. The Beast of Sherwood hunts them down, using strategies and tactics no mundane animal could dream of. Even the local aristocrats are hunted, for the Beast suffers no hunters and cares nothing of social standing.

Still...George had seven children, and so youths are safe from the Beast; in fact, the Beast will safeguard them, guide them to good food and clean water, them lead them safely home.
This is the closest Europe will ever get to an Arthurian "Questing Beast"...

The secret to the Beast of Sherwood’s immense power is that Sherwood Forest is a witchland.
/-

Infamous Starborn:
The Dreaming Childe:
Crunch Writeup:
PL10/129pp. Once a "village idiot" tolerated by his village only because of his father's local standing, Frenchman Renoit Valjean was changed by the Green Star in a most unusual way: he died...and then became a Starborn. Existing now entirely with "the collective unconscious" and flitting from dream to dream, his intellect vastly boosted, this Dreaming Childe rewards goodly folk with happy dreams and restful sleep; the evil he inflicts horrid nightmares and rampant insomnia upon, to the point of madness. Religion does not enter the Dreaming Childe's equation...which has led to Mother Church declaring him a demon. But how do you hunt and kill a Starborn who only exists in dreams...?

The Dreaming Childe is a member of the Nightmare-Carnival, though only nominally.
The Dreaming Child wrote:"Reap now what you have sown!"

[Earth-G]Hamblin, England!

Post by Hoid »

The township of Hamblin, England:
The entire town of Hamblin, England Vanished all at once. Not even buildings remain. The wind howls forlornly and people claim they hear scratching whispers in the breeze.

But...they are not entirely gone. You see, a limited form of communication with Hamblin is possible, a trait unique to this township alone.

You see, the only structure remaining in what was once Hamblin is Hamblin's well, which is now dried up. If someone shouts a question down the well at daytime, their voice just echoes mundanely. But, should they do so at night...they might just get an answer.

After this property was accidentally discovered, thousands of the curious have camped in and around the land that once housed Hamblin. They shout questions into the well, and receive some startling answers.

Here are some of the more interesting Q-and-A's:

Q: Where are you?
A: In Hamblin. Where are you?

Q: Are you aware you're Vanished?
A: We didn't Vanish; everyone else but us Vanished!

Q: Are you in Heaven?
A: No, we're in Hamblin, by the well. Are you stuck down the well, because we can't see you...

...and so on. In essence, while Hamblin Vanished from most of the world, most of the world Vanished from Hamblin's point of view.

I always found this one of your most facinating places in Earth-G,just for the sheer number of game sessions you could do w/Hamblin: why'd the whole town vanish, but not the well?...If you climbed down into the well at night, would you wind up where Hamblin is?.....the questions are mind-boggling.....

[Earth-F]Non-Machine-Deity/non-Machine-Titan superhumans!

Post by Hoid »

—————In overview:
Machine-Deities
and Machine-Titans are NOT the ONLY superhumans on Earth-F. Truly, MOST superhumans of Earth-F fit the above categories...but not ALL of them! In addition, Earth-F has firewalkers, Dedicates and Riders and Steeds! Plus, the occasional Exotic can be found.

—————What are firewalkers?
Firewalkers are ‘failed’ Machine-Deities—-their bodies VIOLENTLY resisted transformation, causing them to be permanently wreathed in biokinetically-fueled fire. Incredibly destructive—-as they can’t douse themselves, even in the vacuum of outer space—-firewalkers are seen as demons in Europe, and as ‘small’ gods through much of Asia.

Less than 300 firewalkers exist at the present time. Placeholders.

—————What is soulflame?
When a firewalker is kindled, their memetic cores alight, slowly burning away the firewalker’s lifeforce. Thus, given time, all firewalkers are guaranteed a VERY early death...! This ‘soulflame’ is a MUCH more primitive version of the celestial and refined starryfire...!

—————What are the Dedicates?
Given over to study of the alien Dedication-gem, Dedicates are a tiny order of Tibetan Buddhist monks able to channel their singular Device to perform a huge variety of psychic phenomenon. Without this shared Device, all Dedicates would lose their powers.

Less than 50 Dedicates exist at the present time. ALL of them are Tibetan Buddhist monks. Placeholder.

—————Can firewalkers become Dedicates?
No. Having soulflame precludes attaining to the Dedication-gem.

—————Can Machine-Deities and Machine-Titans become Dedicates?
In theory...yes. It hasn’t happened...yet.

—————Can Riders become Dedicates?
In theory...yes. It hasn’t happened...yet.

—————Can superhumans from other realities become Dedicates?
In theory...yes. It hasn’t happened...yet.

—————Can thoughtforms become Dedicates?
No. No, they cannot.

—————What is the Dedication-gem?
A Demimachine shaped like a brilliant, unbelievably pricy gem, the Dedication-gem allows those who bond with it access to a huuuuge array of psychic powers!

Bonding with the Dedication-gem is a time-consuming process that only the Dedicate order of Tibetan Buddhist monks has access to. The bonding process takes several weeks, during which the Dedicate-to-be astrally projects inside the Dedication-gem—-a tiny Resonance, to be truthful—-while their physicalities lay in a death-like state. Inside the Dedication-gem, the Dedicate-to-be argues koans with an inscrutable order of possibly non-existent ‘gods’—-which may just be a psychodrama played out solely inside the applicant’s mind—-for the ‘spell’ that will ‘tame’ the ‘heavenly relic’.

Only a maximum of 119 people may bond with the Dedication-gem. Currently, less than 50 Dedicates exist, hidden under the Himalayan Mountains in a subterranean Buddhist monastery. The Dedication-gem has a broadcast-range that emanates across the Sol System’s entire ‘habitable zone’.

The origins of the Dedication-gem are somewhat unclear, as the Dedicates themselves tell wild—-and possibly delusional—-stories of the Tibetan gods delivering it to them a ‘billion lifetimes ago’, before the world ‘turned strange’.

—————What are Riders? What're Steeds?
Riders are humans suffering from the nuckalavee virus. Each Rider is paired with a Steed; they share a telepathic link. Riders mutate, but only in a subtle manner; these mutations’re usually readily concealable.

Steeds are donkeys, horses, mules and ponies suffering from the nuckalavee virus. Each Steed is paired with a Rider; they share a telepathic link. Steeds mutate horrifically, changing into monstrous shapes straight from a madman’s worst fever-dreams.

Merely a dozen Riders and Steeds exist at the present time. All of them are from the exact same Christian Knightly Order, the Order of St. Lazarus—-leper knights cured of their condition by infection with the nuckalavee virus.

Interestingly enough, Riders and Steeds, should they ever go to Earth-B, would find themselves indistinguishable from the Divided, a species of native mutants. Anti-mutant technology normally only applicable to Earth-B mutants, would strangely work perfectly on Riders and Steeds.

—————What’s the nuckalavee virus?
The nuckalavee virus is an alien virus bioengineered by the lulkilil, ancient and now extinct enemies of the Apkallu. Placeholder.

—————Where does the nuckalavee virus originate?
Aliens. Obviously. To be specific, a species of sentient insectoid humanoids known as the lulkilil. Once fierce rivals to the multiversal menace of the Apkallu, the lulkilil sought to unleash a virus to create super-soldiers of their own. The last remaining lulkilil La Zara Ziz (PL2/20pp, mundane lulkilil), came to Earth, fleeing her people’s extinction, and bringing 12 viable vials of nuckalavee virus with her—-which she gave to the twelve greatest knights of the Order of St. Lazarus!

Yes, the timing is quite suspicious, and for good reason. Finding out that her people’s ancient ally was planning on turning humanity into supersoldiers, La Zara Ziz deliberately came to Earth, hoping to add her nuckalavee virus to the Machine-God War effort. Sadly, it went just as well, meaning now no one controls the nuckalavee virus—-La Zara Ziz was murdered by Crusaders (not the Order of St. Lazarus!), who mistook her for a demon conjured by the Devil.

Earth-E: the Godorb.
A spherical handheld Demimachine, the Godorb is one of the few direct Demimachine creations of the Worldfather to've survived to the modern day. Capable of harnessing reality, itself, on a fundamental level, he who wields the Godorb may as well be a god himself.

Currently residing on Earth-E, the Godorb is in the possession of the Architect, a mundane human with severe delusions of grandeur---delusions the Godorb helps him bring into genuine reality!

[All six Perpendiculars]The Duo Dreamers!

Post by Hoid »

The Duo Dreamers: Somnolent and Indolent.
Embodying the six Perpendiculars, but not quite rating as higher-order intelligences, the Duo Dreamers were once mundane humans from Perpendicular-1, who attained vast powers by dividing equally and consuming the Fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Veils and Rhythms and Songs.

The Tree of the Knowledge of Veils and Rhthyms and Songs.
Created by He-who-is-now-Dead, the Tree of the Knowledge of Veils and Rhthyms and Songs is a Demimachine biotechnology omnicomputer. Able to process information on a level equal to a cosmic entity or higher-order intelligence, but is still not sentient, the Tree exists to catalogue all data in all six Perpendiculars.

The Tree has avatars—-‘saplings’—-existing in each of the six Perpendiculars:
in Perpendicular-1, this sapling is Codex the Compiler, who’s hyperfocused on monitoring the Stormfather;
in Perpendicular-2, this sapling is Jeremiah Allseeing, who’s hyperfocused on monitoring the Ultimate City;
in Perpendicular-3, this sapling is Mother of Machines, who has focus and observes as much of everything as it can;
in Perpendicular-4, this sapling is End of Wisdom, who’s hyperfocused on calculating the amount of time before the Great Corpulence at last suffers final cell death;
in Perpendicular-5, this sapling is Ahtu, which’s been corrupted by Nyarlathotep;
and in Perpendicular-6, this sapling is Aeon, who is a direct minion of the Solar Lion.

the Indolent Dreamer: He-who-is-Daydreaming.
Crunch Writeup:
The Indolent Dreamer is a complex entity, being both PL12/151pp (when in activeform) OR PL25/3340pp (when in dormantform), a rather radical division of prowess. When in activeform, the Indolent Dreamer is an elegant beauty, long-limbed and slender, adorned in gems, jewelry and precious metals. His visage is pleasing to the eye and he moves with grace and economy of motion.

But...when in dormantform...the Indolent Dreamer's physical perfection unweaves, opening up like a horrific puzzle box to reveal the madness within. In dormantform, the Indolent Dreamer is a tiny gibbet of bloody flesh'n'bone, surrounded by a miles high psychic radius of planet-crushing pyrokinesis.

The Indolent Dreamer is capable of waking up --- but only briefly. However, both Dreamers, when fully asleep, can telekinetically merge into the Catatonic Dreamer.

The Indolent Dreamer's body lays deep within the planetary core of Perpendicular-1, and is protected by Gloaming (a Stormblood who went renegade); his consciousness slumbers astrally in the upper atmosphere of Perpendicular-2, watched over by Skycrying Swordsman (an eagle-god); meanwhile, his powers are attached to the biome of the entirety of Perpendicular-3, and're safeguarded by Iximnixim (a robotgod).

It should be noted that the Indolent Dreamer exists entirely in the waking realm, technically not being an oneiric entity. He does not extend to or exist within any dream-Resonance!

-//-\\-

the Somnolent Dreamer: She-who-is-Dreaming.
Crunch Writeup:
The Somnolent Dreamer is a complex entity, being both PL12/151pp (when in dormantform) OR PL24/3300pp (when in torporform), a rather extreme division of power-scaling. When in dormantform, the Somnolent Dreamer is a statue---indestructible and immobile and unmoveable, carved to resemble a young woman of great beauty.

But...when she allows herself to go into a hibernation...the Somnolent Dream's physicality shatters, revealing a riot of radioactive neon colors beneath the destroyed shell. In this torporform, she's both miles high and yet lighter than a feather.

The Somnolent Dreamer cannot wake up but can come fairly close to it, albeit but momentarily. However, both Dreamers, when fully asleep, can psychokinetically meld into the composite-entity called the Catatonic Dreamer.

The body of the Somnolent Dreamer is at the bloodstained cerebral core of Perpendicular-4, protected by Altar-shaman (a human necrotechnician); her consciousness lairs in the Plateau of Leng, watched by the Priest in Purple (a genderless avatar of Hastur); meanwhile, her powers are entangled into the essence of Perpendicular-6, and’s watched over by none other than the Solar Lion, himself!

It should be noted that the Somnolent Dreamer exists entirely in the waking realm, technically not being an oneiric entity. She does not extend to or exist within any dream-Resonance!

-//-\\-

the Catatonic Dreamer: They-who-endure-Oblivion's-Caress.
Crunch Writeup:
When the Indolent Dreamer and the Somnolent Dreamer both plunge deep into unconsciousness, they physically enter a symbiosis, becoming the unified Catatonic Dreamer.

[Earth-L]The Griffon Mythology!

Post by Hoid »

[Earth-L]The Griffon Mythology.
—————What is the Griffon Mythology?
The Griffon Mythology is a mega-corporation that has survived—-even prospered!—-post-Ogrefalling, and now serves as a genetics firm for devising anti-Demiogre weaponry for the human resistance. The Griffon Mythology works on products that, prior to the Day of Ogrefalling, would have been so blatantly anti-Geneva Convemtion it isn’t easy funny. Flesh-eating bacteria, grey goo nanites and more: the Griffon Mythology’s products are some of the most horrifying weaponry ever crafted.

—————How does the Griffon Mythology operate?
It funds anti-Demiogre radicals. It conducts anti-Demiogre research. It develops ever-more-powerful mundane weaponry. It creates designer diseases. It moves heaven and earth in attempts to acquire atomic bombs. In other words, it’s sole purpose is the destruction of both Ogres and Demiogres of all kinds.

—————How is the Griffon Mythology structured?
No one is sure. To be certain, as a corporation it’s required to keep copious amounts of paperwork, but, through sheer luck and cunning determination, the Griffon Mythology has never been forced to reveal these records. They refuse to do so willingly. To be honest, the Griffon Mythology does so much for the groundling resistance that nobody wants to rock the boat by insisting on finding out. Placeholder.

—————So....’Masked Princes’, huh? What exactly does that mean?
Yes. The Griffon Mythology’s Board of Directors’ membership roster is secret: no one knows for sure exactly who is running the megacorporation! Sure, Mr. Protocol calls the shots, but who is he? No one knows his name. Mr. Protocol is a total enigma.

And Mr. Protocol is the only Director to have ever made himself known. The other Directors are...a mystery. However—-one thing seems clear: the Griffon Mythology has made real headway for the ongoing groundling war against Demiogres and Ogres. No one suspects the Griffon Mythology of having an ulterior motive.

Because of course the Griffon Mythology has an ulterior motive: you see, the Griffon Mythology is secretly run by a cabal of three Demiogres, the leader of which is herself named Griffon.

—————Wait...a Demiogre is running things?! How does that work, considering how, um, ‘un-Ogre-ish’ the Griffon Mythology is?!
Griffon desires a form of insane uncompromising Social Darwinism...the strong survive, the weak perish. She will test Demiogres; the weak will perish, but the strong will inherit the earth.

—————What are the Three Great Elfcourts?
The Three Great Elfcourts are the three greatest Faerie Courts and personally advise the Dreaming Emperor on all matters related to Earth-M. The Three Great Elfcourts are:
The Faerie Court of Many Spheres, which is based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, America. It advises the Dreaming Emperor on all matters financial. The Faerie Court of Many Spheres has a Royal Assemblage.
The Faerie Court of Sleipnir, which is based out of Uppsala, Sweden. It advises the Dreaming Emperor on all matters cultural. The Faerie Court of Sleipnir has a Royal Assemblage.
And the Faerie Court of Wu Lung, which is based out of Hong Kong. It advises the Dreaming Emperor on all matters military. The Faerie Court of Wu Lung has a Royal Assemblage.

—————Tell me about the Three Great Elfcourts.
Tell me about the Faerie Court of Many Spheres.
The Faerie Court of Many Spheres is devoted to the narrative of Prince Many Spheres, a Dreamer-turned-cosmic-entity. The Faerie Court of Many Spheres’ narrative is, “To ascend the heights, others must fall.”
The five nobles of the Faerie Court of Many Spheres are: Hobgoblin (Court Magus), Many Spheres (Court Prince), the Rhyming Beast (Court Vizier), Titan (Court Herald) and Yg (Court Guardsman).
It’s Oakthrone is situated in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Placeholder.
Tell me about the Faerie Court of Sleipnir.
The Faerie Court of Sleipnir is devoted to the narrative of Prince Sleipnir, an eight-legged horse-Dreamer. The Faerie Court of Sleipnir’s narrative is, “First to arrive is first to command.”
The five nobles of the Faerie Court of Sleipnir are: the Devil in the Red Mask (Court Magus), the Hag-Blooded Crone (Court Vizier), the Labyrinthian (Court Guardsman), Racer (Court Herald) and Sleipnir (Court Prince).

And tell me about the Faerie Court of Wu Lung.
The Faerie Court of Wu Lung is devoted to the narrative of Prince Wu Lung, a dragon-Dreamer. The Faerie Court of Wu Lung’s narrative is, “Overwhelming power is a virtue unto itself.”
The five nobles of the Faerie Court of Wu Lung are: Goblin Queen (Court Magus), Ki-Rin (Court Guardsman), Mandarin (Court Herald), the Master of all Mudras (Court Vizier) and Wu Lung (Court Prince).
It’s Oakthrone is situated in Hong Kong, China. Placeholder.

—————Who is the Dreaming Emperor?
The only surviving disciple of Adam Kadmon from the Days That Were Tomorrow and Yesterday, the Dreaming Emperor is the tenuously-obeyed monarch of the Dreamer ‘race’. Formerly human, he ascended to become a Dreamer at the Illogic’s conclusion, like every other human disciple of Adam Kadmon A cosmic entity that exclusively stays within the Earth-M universe, the Dreaming Emperor is a top-tier Supermanalogue with godlike Illusion powers.

Despite his vast powers, however, the Dreaming Emperor’s authority seems to stretch only as far as his immediate surroundings. While all Elfcourts on theory pledge obeisance to the Dreaming Emperor, in reality they often openly defy him when he’s not around, Turning such disobedience into a mad game. Placeholder.

[Multiverse-wide]The Worlds’ Henge!

Post by Hoid »

[Multiverse-wide]THE WORLDS’ HENGE.
The Worlds’ Henge is a team only in the loosest sense of the term: they never meet physically, have no agenda and generally just chat with one another—-each member (‘stone’) in the Worlds’ Henge comes from a different dimension in the Forever Tree.

—————What does the Worlds’ Henge do?
Socialize. Talk. Gossip. All without leaving their own dimensions. Adam Kadmon of Earth-M acts as the psychic ‘switchboard’ connecting each stone to every other stone, and is the medium through which communications are held.

—————...so...they do nothing?
For the most part, yes.

But perhaps “nothing” is too harsh a word. On their own, in their own universes, many are quite active. It’s just, on a multiversal scale, all the Worlds’ Henge does is sit, debate and ponder.

—————So...what’s the point of all this for, then?
The Worlds’ Henge is of note because it connects hundreds of superbeings of dozens of dimensions and universes...and the individual stones of the Worlds’ Henge will usually pass pertinent information along to more physically active do-gooders or evil-doers.

—————So...the Worlds’ Henge is a source of stuff for players’ characters to do and investigate?
Exactly.

—————Who belongs to the Worlds’ Henge?
First off, not every dimension and parallel-Earth has a member or members of the Worlds’ Henge in it. Unlike the Sungods, who go way out of their to be as dimensionally inclusive as is possible, the Worlds’ Henge is not really an organization and doesn’t actively recruit.
That being said...here’s a complete list of the two leaders and eleven other members of the Worlds’ Henge:
- - - -The Worlds’ Henge’s ‘moderator’ (leader) is Earth-M’s imperiex, Adam Kadmon (a tree-Dreamer imperiex).
- - - -The Worlds’ Henge’s ‘assistant moderator’ (second-in-command) is the Flower Beast (a bheast) of Perpendicular-4.
Other members:
- - - -Kylie (a Monolith mutant) of Earth-B.
- - - -Anu (a god) and Tammuz (a demigod), both of Earth-C.
- - - -Greenmonk (arhat) and Hell’s Prisoner (arhat), both of them of Earth-H.
- - - -Urut-nnil (a cosmic entity) of Earth-I (but not the Ir/Maker).
- - - -Yg (tree-Dreamer) of Earth-M.
