Real Name: Jacob Harris
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 195 lbs
Hair: Brown
Eye Color: Brown

Complications:
Motivation ~Show Them All!: Deflector feels wronged by society, and seeks to avenge himself.

Motivation ~Greed: Though he needs to be able to support himself as well.

Prejudice: Criminal Alpha.

Background: Jacob Harris was a wrestler in an independent production who was at best a mid-carder who always struggled to find a good gimmick for his persona in the company, and had been given an ultimatum by his boss to find one that worked. Jacob decided to take a week off for a vacation where he worked up the best ideas he could, but found himself a victim of Black Sun’s Silver Storm.

Luckily for him, the powers he manifested, the ability to create invisible barriers, left him trapped in a personal force field that nobody could penetrate. Wisely evacuating from the scene Jacob spent the next few days gaining basic control over his newly gained powers, quickly realizing that they could be the gimmick he needed to propel his wrestling career to the next level. Fortunately, his boss agreed with him and soon Jacob was cutting promos as a “new” masked wrestler who claimed he could withstand anything his future opponents could throw at him, which was his new gimmick – being virtually indestructible.

Soon Jacob’s matches quickly became fan favorites as his opponents would break numerous “weapons” against his body; chairs, Singapore canes, baseball bats, hockey sticks, and even ladders. After six months Jacob’s promoter decided to up the ante by increasing the variety of weapons to be used against him – from fire extinguishers and controlled pyrotechnical explosions to head on impacts with cars. There was almost no limit to what they’d throw at Jacob it seemed in pursuit of entertaining the fans with extreme violence. Then the accident happened; the pyrotechnic techs miscalculated when prepping one of their controlled explosions and it ended up being much larger than they’d intended, combined with the reflective nature of Jacob’s force field and several fans were caught in the blast. Lawsuits came quickly, with the promoter hinting that Jacob was to blame for not being able to fully control his powers effects on the attacks being done to him.

In the end both Jacob and the promoter were ruled against by the judge, and both were subjected to extreme payouts to cover the medical bills of all those injured as well as a payout for pain and suffering inflicted upon the victim’s families. While the promoter had the fallback of insurance Jacob did not and he was quickly driven into bankruptcy, with no way to support himself in his chosen profession as no other wrestling promotion would hire him following the accident.

Left with few other options he soon turned to crime to support himself, ready to unleash the anger and frustration he feels on others in a misguided effort to overcome the wrongs he felt were done to him.

Real Name: Paula Walters
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 134 lbs
Hair: Red
Eye Color: Green

Complications:
Motivation ~Thrillseeker: April Fool does what she does for the thrills and excitmennt.

Prankster: April Fool can’t pass up a prank, especially if it’s against costumed heroes. In such a situation, she must make a DC 20 Will save to resist pulling a prank.

Background: Raised from birth by her Aunt Jane and Uncle Ernie Blanchard, Paula Walters never wanted for anything; as Ernie Blanchard was a real estate mogul that owned some of the most valuable properties in the suburbs of Los Angeles, while Jane Blanchard was a CFO for a large and well known non-profit organization. So for Paula and her cousin, Kyle, life was good but pretty uneventful.

Paula never knew her father, he’d never been part of her life at all and her mother had turned out to be one of those women who hadn’t ever really “connected” with her child and thus has little trouble leaving her in the care of her sister while she pursued her own goals in life. It wasn’t that she didn’t care about Paula or not visit or talk with Paula every couple of months but working as a showgirl in Atlantic City wasn’t the kind of job you could take time off from regularly.

Despite that fact, Paula was pretty much a typical girl who was into wearing the “it” clothes, being seen at the coolest places, and hanging out with the “right people”, and that was thanks largely to the efforts of her aunt and uncle who loved Paula like she was their own daughter and never made an issue of the fact she wasn’t. But it seemed that life had other plans for Paula when one day she came home after hanging out at the local mall after school to find that her whole family was dead – killed by a pair of burglars who were still in the process of robbing her home.

Paula grabbed a poker from the fireplace and went to confront the thieves, seeking revenge but when she finally came face to face with them she hesitated, which was all that the thieves needed to gain the upper hand. But when they moved to catch her the two men suddenly began tripping over their own feet, their partner’s and odd mishaps which seemed to be nothing more than sheer dumb luck benefiting Paula. Realizing she needed to capitalize on her run of good fortune the teenaged girl made short work of the would-be thieves and had them tied up waiting for the police when they arrived in response to the house’s tripped silent alarm.

The police arrested the murderers for what they’d done then made sure that Paula was alright, which she was aside from a couple minor scrapes and bruises, and contacted her mother. Paula spent the next few days in a juvenile center until her mother could make the trip from Atlantic City and it was during that time alone that Paula reflected on her confrontation with the burglars and how things strangely kept going her way despite the fact several of the events weren’t possible and it got her to wondering just exactly what had happened. So, when her mother finally showed up and took Paula into custody the teenaged girl began to push the issue of her missing father’s identity.

Eventually the elder Shaw relented and told Paula about a man named Foster Hoyle, and how, several years ago, he’d lead her into a whirlwind romance that lasted several weeks before they finally parted ways only for her to learn a month later she was pregnant with Paula. Ms. Shaw ended the story by revealing to Paula that her father had went on to become the criminal known as Facecard, which answered many of the questions Paula had been harboring. Realizing that her mother really didn’t have the means to take her in, Paula instead offered forth the idea of her going to court and having herself declared an emancipated minor, seeing as how she was almost eighteen anyways there wouldn’t be much of a difference as she saw it. Ms. Shaw agreed and the two of them quickly set to the task and by end of the week it was done and Ms. Shaw was on her way back to Atlantic City.

Having nowhere else to go Paula secluded herself in her aunt and uncle’s house where she was surrounded by pictures and memories of them and her cousin. A few days later a lawyer contacted Paula and she discovered that as the sole survivor of the Blanchard family, she’d inherited her aunt and uncle’s estate, making her an instant multimillionaire. Laughing hysterically at this fact, she finally got the joke that life had taught her.

Paula then liquidated all her family’s assets and moved to Capital City where she established herself as a philanthropist; supporting mainly medical and social reformation causes by utilizing the skills that her aunt and uncle taught her. However, this is only a cover for her true agenda as she also uses the skills that she developed in emulation of her father as the vaudevillian villainess known as April Fool who travels across the country committing her unique “comedy crimes”. Armed with gear based on a comedic theme and a lot of money to back her up, she works mainly on her own but has been known to take on special jobs when the right situation arises. Having almost unlimited resources at her disposal, Paula fuels her endless need for comedic and ironic gadgets in her desire to bring laughing larceny to everyone.

Real Name: Henry East
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 233 lbs
Hair: Blonde
Eye Color:Amber

Complications:
Calling Dr. East: Sometimes Dr. East's original personality resurfaces.

Fascinating….: When faced with an exotic or new form of science, Dr. Prometheus becomes fixated on being the first to examine/document it.

Prejudice: Alpha criminal.

Reputation: Dr. Prometheus is known for happily conducting some of the most inhumane experiments to gain a better understanding of how Alpha abilities work.

Background: Henry East grew up in love with science and medicine, the exhilaration he experienced when delving into the mysteries of the universe was like nothing else he’d known. This would lead him to becoming one of the most well-respected bio-chemists in the United States, though like most others of his time Henry became fascinated with Alphas; as so many of their abilities allowed them to defy various scientific theories. This intrigued Henry, who felt there was nothing outside the realm of science, only things science couldn’t explain yet and he made a hobby of studying Transhumans and their powers in his off time; a matter of curiosity, and more than a little jealousy in all honesty, given what these people were capable of and the fame heaped upon several of them.

Then Henry’s health problems started.

At first it was just minor tremors in his hands, then he had trouble walking around the lab. Finally, he went to see a physician and was diagnosed with a rare disorder that was causing his nervous system to deteriorate. Desperate, Henry looked everywhere for answers, frantically putting his own genius to use, trying radical gene therapy, applying his analyses of dozens of Alpha physiologies to his own dilemma. Impressively Henry managed to stop the neural deterioration using artificial means, but those modifications had radically changed his brain chemistry and personality; submerging Henry’s personality to an intellect devoid of any inhibition or moral he used to possess and replaced with it one fanatically devoted to furthering the realms of science.

Dr. Prometheus made his debut a few years later when he captured and performed a number of invasive tests on members of the Vanguard, though they were able to free themselves Dr. Prometheus escaped; setting a precedent for the majority of his encounters with various super heroes over the following years. In the years since Dr. Prometheus has become a kind of bogeyman of the Alpha community (as he goes after both heroes and villains), waiting in the shadows to divine their secrets in the most gruesome of fashions.

Real Name: Dean Hastings
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 179 lbs
Hair: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue

Complications:
Enemy: S.H.I.E.L.D.

Motivation ~Angry: Rankine is lashing out at society because of the loss of his family to S.H.I.E.L.D.

Power Loss: Rankine loses his powers in non-oxygenated environments (like space or underwater).

Uncontrolled Burn: Repeated uses of Extra Effort on any of Rankine’s powers can possibly overload his Fahrenheit Suit, as without it his powers will run wild in explosive releases until he is knocked out or his flames are somehow put out.

Background: Just another victim of the Ahriman Wave, Dean Hastings developed fire-based abilities that he found difficult to control and despite his best efforts he accidentally caused some serious property damage. Eventually scientists at Odyssey Technologies were able to develop a specialized suit that helped Dean to control his powers and let him live a relatively normal life. That is until members of S.H.I.E.L.D. took an interest in Dean, at first following him for several weeks to learn more about him and any other metahumans he might associate with before finally attacking him and his family in their home. During the attack Dean’s wife and baby daughter were killed by the hate mongers in an attempt to rile him up into attacking them and Dean did snap but not in the way the people from S.H.I.E.L.D. had been expecting – he destroyed his home in a fiery explosion that rocked a two-block radius. From that point on Dean became the monster he then realized everyone expected him to be, calling himself Rankine and to this day he continues to use his powers in a manner most destructive as he keeps lashing out at the world for the pain it has caused him.

Complications:
Involuntary Transformation: Jeremy has no control over his changes into the Pack, they happen when he becomes angry or scared.

Real Name: Linda Witherspoon
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 187 lbs
Hair: Black
Eye Color: Hazel

Complications:
Addiction ~Chi: Snapdragon wants to devour every bit of chi she possibly can.

Bad Loser: Snapdragon doesn’t lose gracefully and holds a grudge against anyone that defeats her.

Quirk ~Competitive: Not one to back down from a fight, Snapdragon will attempt to defeat anyone who challenges her. If challenged, she must make a Will Save [DC 20] to walk away without throwing a punch.

Background: As a kid Linda Witherspoon was a diehard fan of martial arts: from movies, anime, and magnas, she would mimic whatever moves she could in hopes of emulating the characters she loved. When she was eight, Linda’s parents enrolled her at a local dojo and while she enjoyed the experience the other students had a problem with their new classmate beating them up using her self-made style and they quickly decided to teach her a lesson by jumping her after class one day. Even though she'd been the one attacked, Linda's violent response got her ejected from the dojo, though Linda was convinced that she’d finally begun her journey to become a master of martial arts. After several attempts to wander on her path, which her parents viewed as her trying to run away from home, Linda soon found herself kept under a close eye as they monitored her every move.

However, like her heroes Linda wasn’t easily defeated; when she was thirteen she finally managed to succeed by sneaking out of school to cover her getaway so by the time anyone noticed her absence Linda was already a stowaway on a freighter ship headed for China. However, the world she expected to find was very different from the one that Linda found herself in. Alone, cold, and hungry in a foreign port, Linda wandered aimlessly, surviving on garbage and sleeping in alleyways. It was there that Master Lu Yan, who was considered to be the local kooky old man by most of the community, found her and took the young girl under his wing by bringing her to his home under the city, and providing her with decent food and safe shelter. Linda explained that she came to China to become a great warrior and the old man replied with a smile saying that he could help that dream become a reality. Eagerly agreeing, Linda only had to wait until she regained her strength before Lu Yan started her training a few days later; running the girl through various tasks that built the girl’s strength, agility, and cunning over the next several years.

Although the teen stumbled at first, she soon found herself able to tap into talents that she only imagined had existed. Such as when Lu Yan showed her how to focus her chi into a punch that she used to destroy a steel-plated door and ripped up the floor twenty feet behind it as well. Impressed with his pupil’s raw talent, Lu Yan had the girl pack their things and led her out of the city and into the heart of the country itself, all the while making stops to train before camping for the night. Finally, after months of travel, they reached their destination: the base of Makalu. It was here that Lu Yan told Linda a story about his past that involved his becoming part of a grand, secret sect of warriors and his fall from grace after he went against his masters’ edicts to defeat a demon that had infiltrated their sacred order. Then in decades since how he’d sought a student that would eventually enact his revenge upon the dark creature. But, before Linda could be his weapon, she first had to master the chi techniques that he had only just started to teach her.

Training at the base of the mountain for the next five years, Linda grew into adulthood as her skills as warrior matured and by the age of twenty she’d mastered a number of chi techniques that granted her amazing powers and abilities. Feeling that his student was finally ready to enact his vengeance, Lu Yan had Linda scale the side of the mountain in hopes of reaching the top. Once there, she found the remnants of a mountain village that had been destroyed long ago by some kind of fire. Rummaging through the charred ruins, she came across a strange mask that seemed to be calling out to her. Compelled to put it on, Linda felt a surge of power flow through her, one that tainted her; making her into a proud and spiteful warrior that was extremely arrogant. The demon that Lu Yan had hoped Linda would defeat had instead taken her and made her its play thing. Laughing at her mentor’s robbed vengeance as the mask fell from her face, Linda headed back down the mountain-side to confront her former master.

However, when she reached the bottom, Linda was immediately assaulted by Lu Yan, who had felt his pupil’s darkened chi from half way up the mountain. Nevertheless, the young girl he had trained had become more powerful than he had expected and the former master soon found himself on the defensive. Letting loose her anger, Linda not only defeated her former teacher, but using her new abilities, she absorbed her former teacher’s chi, leaving behind a withered and lifeless husk. She could feel the immense power of her teacher’s chi flowing through her and came to believe that she could become the most powerful martial artist on the planet by finding those with large stores of chi for her to take. Linda spent the next few years wandering China, defeating several other warriors then absorbing their chi, leaving them either powerless or dead in her wake. Thinking back to her childhood, Linda realized that she should have a flashy name and costume, so using money she'd earned through fighting she had a costume made for her and began calling herself Snapdragon.

It was in this identity that Linda continued her quest throughout the world, fighting whoever she came across and robbing them of any chi they had. Eventually her travels brought her into the service of the Black Lotus Society, who skillfully manipulated the corrupted young woman into becoming their agent for helping her find new targets. Eventually Linda found herself in Capital City, and settled into the Eastern District, while spending much of her time fighting in underground matches that happen in the shadier parts of town in the hope of further improving her combat skills as well as expanding her chi-based abilities. Lately she’s begun to hear rumors about a clan of ninja who supposedly possesses chi-based abilities based on five deadly, venomous creatures, something Snapdragon finds very interesting.

Real Name: Leonard Winston
Height: 6’
Weight: 170 lbs
Hair: Black
Eye Color: Brown

Complications:
Reputation ~Arrogant Jerk: Slipsteam has earned a reputation for thinking he's all that compared to, well anyone, and it tends to make others not want to work with him.

Secret: Slipstream has never revealed how he actually gained his powers and their source is a mystery.

Background: Leonard Winston was one of the top pilots in the Air Force, the one called in to test all the newest designed and classified projects. He was brash, loud and outgoing and really a poor choice for doing top secret work when it came to security concerns but there were very few others who could fly a plane like Leonard could. Thus, he was allowed to get away with his attitudes and lax approach to most things. It was during a test flight that Leonard gained his powers, during the flight he found himself suddenly in the thick of an unexpected storm front that had come out of nowhere and couldn’t avoid it. The broken transmissions he managed to send out gave his superiors the idea that the craft was crashing, and he was lost on their radar. When search parties were sent out looking for him they only found the wreckage of the plane and not a single sign of Leonard and while they were baffled by the situation the Air Force wrote him off as ‘Missing in action, presumed dead.’

Unfortunately, that was not the case as Leonard reappeared several months later, committing over a dozen crimes (mostly robbery) in Chicago in the span of ten minutes. He was calling himself Slipstream and wore a costume but a moments worth of footage from a bank security camera was good enough to identify him and the authorities have been trying to capture him since. Leonard has never talked about what happened to him during that time he was missing, but something happened that gave him his powers and within that time he was in hiding he managed to master them enough that he could challenge most other Alphas with a level of confidence that borders on arrogant.

Able to move at speeds that match any speedster known to date, Slipstream is the kind of super criminal who mostly works for himself (pulling robberies at superspeed) but will from time to time take a job for hire if the money is right. His reputation as a jerkass is starting to spread however and there are those who won’t work with him now because of his attitude.

Secret: Taboo's past is a mystery.

Background: Nothing is known about the past of the young woman known as Taboo, though it is thought that she might be from New Orleans given her French accent and ability to speak Creole fluently. Not that it mattered much when she was caught in Black Sun’s Silver Storm, and like so many others she ran amok until stopped by members of the Vanguard and the Alliance.

Though they struggled to defeat her thanks to the fact her powers make it very difficult to injure her in any serious way. Taboo was among those few Stormers who escaped before CASTLE took charge of the scene, though she soon turned up in Capital City where she encountered students from the Vanguard Academy. While a wily manipulator she has managed to pursue her criminal agenda and retain her personal freedom despite the efforts of the several of the young heroes in training.

Real Name: Jordan Merril
Height: 6'
Weight: 194 lbs
Hair: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue

Complications:
Motivation ~Respect: Recoil II seeks to be recognized for his achievements, even if he has to commit criminal acts to get it.

Motivation ~Money: Recoil II wants to get as much money as he can, and doesn’t mind having to steal it.

Reputation: Recoil II is considered to be a Jobber by his peers.

Background: Jordan Merril was a scientist who worked for Noxxor Industries who managed to gain possession of the Recoil suit, which was worn by Cole Griffith in his criminal career. Merril’s superiors wanted him to study and further refine the suit’s abilities so they could sell it to the highest bidder in a quick turn over, the problem was that Merril quickly saw the potential the suit had and wanted it for himself. So he cleverly made a new suit, updating much of the technology used to construct it and snuck it to his home where he began practice with it.

A few months later Merril made his debut as the new Recoil, accidentally inheriting the legacy of the original - that of a Jobber. No one took him seriously, and after several encounters with different heroes it began to frustrate Merril to the point that he has become obsessed with proving all his critics wrong.

Black Sun

Post by Tattooedman »

Black Sun:

First formed in the late 1970s, the group was known originally as Children of Quetzalcoatl; its membership comprised of Alphas whose appearances had left them inhuman looking or had been so discriminated against by humanity that they felt inhuman. Led by the charismatic Xantico, who believed that Alphas were descendants of the Aztec gods and that it was her sacred duty to gather them into a proper pantheon. Calling themselves the Children of Quetzalcoatl, they began a campaign to liberate any and all Alphas of the United States, which would be followed by the liberation of Alphas in other parts of the world. During their liberation efforts, the Children of Quetzalcoatl were branded as criminals, and later terrorists when they became Black Sun, due to the amounts of destruction they caused while “liberating their genetic brothers and sisters” or “standing up to those who would try to stop them from attaining their destinies”.

They were opposed by the Vanguard, a government backed team of heroic Alphas, and the two groups have a long running rivalry that continues to the present day despite the changes in the memberships of both groups. It was during this time that Children of Quetzalcoatl became known as Black Sun, a change in name to honor their fallen founder and leader, Xantico. After her passing the group became more willing to use violence to achieve their goals in order to get what they wanted.

A few years ago Black Sun embarked upon a plan to activate every dormant Alpha in the United States; having stolen all information on the Ahriman Wave that CASTLE possessed they were able to create a technological counterpart that would cause anyone possessing the genetic potential to manifest Alpha abilities to do so immediately upon contact. They were opposed by members of both branches of the Vanguard while trying to attain the items needed, however Black Sun was successful and unleashed the Silver Storm upon Capital City where dozens of people violently manifested their genetic potential. The riot that followed was stopped thanks to the efforts of the Vanguard, the Alliance and CASTLE agents, the latter also took the Stormers, as the victims of the Silver Storm were labeled by the media, to a facility where they could be studied to determine how the Silver Storm altered their DNA. Which Black Sun liberated only a few days later after deducing where the Stormers had been taken, though only a few of those newly empowered Alphas accepted the offer of membership given to all of them; many chose to go their own way, with Black Sun’s blessing as they only wished to increase the number of their “genetic brethren” to prove that the number of Transhumans were growing despite their detractors claiming that they were only a small percentage of the total population.

Despite their success Black Sun did suffer some loses; Azul and Tiamat were captured, eventually sent to New Alcatraz and Draco defected, joining the Vanguard to stand against his former allies and friends because he realized that those in charge of Black Sun were not as honest or noble as he’d been led to believe.

Real Name: Amia Balcazar
Height: 5'2”
Weight: 124 lbs
Hair: Brown
Eye Color: Brown

Complications:
Disability: Xantico suffers from mental issues that cause her to believe that she is a demi-god, and that it is she is tasked with gathering the other "lost" demi-gods (Alphas) of her time together.

Motivation ~Alpha Liberation: Xantico believes in the Alpha liberation movement, though she believes that Alphas and the rest of humanity can learn to co-exist peacefully.

Prejudice: Alpha terrorist.

Background: Amia Balcazar manifested powers revolving around the manipulation of solar energy, unfortunately becoming a Alpha left Amia mentally unbalanced – leaving her with the belief that she was the child of the Aztec goddess of fire. She also believed that all Alphas were descendants of the Aztec gods and it was her duty to bring them together, so they could take their rightful place as leaders of the world. It was a belief that her therapist, Grant McAllister, who would later become known as her right-hand man Encomium, encouraged as he saw it as a means for him to attain the kind of personal power he’d always wanted.

Thanks to his manipulations and her charisma, Xantico, as Amia called herself, soon gathered supporters who would become known collectively as the Children of Quetzalcoatl, living together on Cibola, a flying island they built together. For several years Xantico led the Children of Quetzalcoatl until she was murdered by Encomium when he was finally ready to take the reins of the leadership. Xantico had been little more than a puppet led by Encomium to serve his own desires without drawing fire as the leader during those formative years.

Xantico never saw the betrayal coming, and was easy prey to the one person she thought she could trust without a doubt. To make matters worse, her death was blamed upon the Vanguard who had finally managed to locate Cibola and was in the process of raiding it when Encomium made his move to make best use of the utter confusion that happened that day.

Real Name: Marco Fuentes
Height: 5’10”
Weight: Unknown
Hair: Unknown
Eye Color:Unknown

Complications:
Motivation ~Alpha Liberation: Azul believes in the Alpha liberation movement, and is willing to do whatever is necessary to make it happen.

Relationships: Azul is married to his teammate, Tiamat, and has children with her as well.

Temper: Azul has trouble controlling his temper sometimes.

Background: How Marco Fuentes’ powers manifested isn’t something he’s ever shared with anyone, but the Mexican Government took notice of the young man’s powers and tried to force him into joining their military. However, Marco wasn’t interested in using his powers for the “war machine” of the government he did not support despite repeated veiled threats from their representatives.

One-day Marco returned from work to find his young wife and daughter murdered in their home – proof that the Government was serious about his coming to work for them. Instead Marco turned his powers against them – in one day he demolished three military bases before going underground and eventually joining the ALpha resistance group El Cambio (the Change). It was while a part of that organization that he met Tiamat, and slowly fell in love with her. Along the way the pair realized that despite the resistance’s best efforts they would make little impact in bettering things for Mexican Alphas and decided to seek their fortunes in the United States.

While living under assumed identities they saw the similarities in how the government of their new homeland treated Alphas in similar ways to the Mexican government. Wanting to try to help others in ways they couldn’t before, the pair became part of the Alpha protesting scene. Unfortunately, after almost a year they saw no difference in the way things were heading and began to voice ideas of taking a more militant stand against the American government than the rest of the protesters were comfortable with. Luckily for them there were others who agreed with what Marco was saying and at some point, the duo was contacted by Xantico and Encomium about becoming part of a group they were assembling to protect Alphas.

Two years later the Children of Quetzalcoatl made their first public appearance, with both Marco, who was now using the name Azul, and Tiamat at the forefront of the group leading the group in the field. A trend which continued for several years until the Vanguard was able to capture Azul so he could be put on trial for his numerous crimes which saw him sentenced to several decades to be carried out at New Alcatraz.

Complications:
Motivation ~Alpha Liberation: Tiamat believes in the Alpha liberation movement, and is willing to do whatever is necessary to make it happen.

Relationships: Tiamat is married to her teammate, Azul, and has children by him as well.

Background: Tiamat’s past isn’t known to law enforcement, though her accent, appearance and long term relationship with Azul, who is known to be from Mexico, leads them to believe that she is also from Mexico. She was first seen as part of the Mexican Alpha resistance known as El Cambio (the Change). It was while a part of that organization that she met Azul, and slowly fell in love with him.

A trend which continued for several years until the Vanguard was able to capture Tiamat so she could be put on trial for her numerous crimes which saw her sentenced to several decades long to be carried out at New Alcatraz.

And here's what Tiamat looks like in her Dragon Form

Complications:
Motivation ~Alpha Liberation: Cambion agrees wholeheartedly with Black Sun’s goal of liberating oppressed Alphas across the globe by any means necessary.

Prejudice: Alpha terrorist.

Background: The past of the man known as Cambion isn’t known, he’s never revealed anything about his past before he manifested his Alpha powers which left him obviously inhuman in appearance. However, given comments he’s made in the past it seems that Cambion lost his family because of his Alpha status and the guilt he feels over their loss drives him to pursue the goals of Black Sun.
