He's too much of a jobber to have any more Impervious, I think.

BLACK DWARF

-Black Dwarf is a pretty piss-poor fighter, having zero wins to his name, despite being a Powerhouse-type guy. Really, he couldn't even beat the Black Panther in his DEBUT AS A VILLAIN, so even "New Villain Stink" couldn't help him. I'm being nice just by making him PL 10, and assuming he's a "Thing-Class" Powerhouse- he seems like that kinda guy.
It's hard to gauge the Black Order's power levels in Infinity. I purposely went high because I wanted them to be challenges to the heroes in my setting, but looking at the comics, lower probably makes sense. Black Dwarf totally jobbed to Black Panther, although at the time, he was full on OP with his King of the Dead power up. Then Dwarf actually gave Ronan, Annihilus and Gladiator a decent scrap for a few rounds until Ronan bashed his head in.

Supergiant got pwned by Maximus and Lockjaw she just lucky and already had Black Bolt beaten down by Thanos so she's not great shakes. As Jab noted, Corvus has died 3 times and the only thing he did of note was actually cut Hyperion with his the Glaive. Then Hyperion pretty much disintegrated him with his Heat Vision. Proxima is the only one who's had some good showings without too much jobbing.

The Maw is the only one who's truly shown to live up to his hype. He mind-controlled Dr. Strange and coerced Thane into defeating his father after surving a death blast from Thane when he went through Terrigenesis that wiped out a whole Inhuman city. He's by far my fave, and his Infinity War incarnation was great as well. Long live the Maw. In the comics, anyway. 8-)

Yeah, comics have made it MUCH harder to properly assess characters these days. Fight scenes are shorter and less-detailed, often going on in the background (I call them "Snapshot Fights"), and the power levels tend to be all over the place, with characters almost arbitrarily winning. Nobody even really talks "tactics" any more. Never mind the power-ups some guys have gotten.

In a sense, the Black Order are Jobbers... but they job to THE AVENGERS, who are usually PL 11 and above. So it's really hard to say.

-Supergiant, who is of course of normal size (Hickman, nobody thinks you're smart for naming guys after celestial phenomena), is a Mind Controller. She and Corvus Glaive attacked the X-Mansion and defeated the X-Men, but left when they realized their target (Thane, son of Thanos) wasn't there. She then Mind Controlled Black Bolt to place a bomb beneath Wakanda, and used him to defeat the Illuminati members. However, she was defeated by Maximus, a quasi-ally of the "heroes"- he teleported her and her bomb off-planet, where they died in the explosion. She reappeared as a psychic projection during the No Surrender arc of the three Avengers books, recreated by The Challenger. She takes control of Thor briefly, but is dissipated by a psionic memeber of their rivals in the new Lethal Legion.

-Ugh, "Mind Control Always Works" rears its ugly head. These guys don't really come off as that dominant or capable, but mind controlling BLACK BOLT for a signification amount of time should be no mean feat, and actually rather impossible under M&M's rules. So she's gotta have a lot of ranks of it.

-The Ebony Maw is not a fighter, but a master manipulator- he deals with Doctor Strange, hypnotizing him with mentally-seductive words, and gets him to leave Maw in charge of an area around an Inhuman settlement that contains Thane, the son of Thanos. Maw, however, convinced Thane to "prove himself" by fighting his father, and froze both Thanos & Proxima Midnight in stasis. He then decided to lead Thane into becoming greater than even Thanos could be. He reappears in No Surrender with no mention of Thane.

-It seems like this guy really went nowhere- he was supposed to be the REAL "Dangerous One" of the group, eschewing physically confrontations and manipulating others into doing what he wanted, but his stuff was more like "Generic Mind Control", and then he basically friggin' vanished and had no further effect on the plots of anything. Avengers: Infinity War reimagines him as a Telekinetic and torturer, which is a much more visually-dynamic power-set that led to a pretty cool set of fights.

Marvel- The Letter "T":
-"T" is the second-most used letter in the English alphabet, and the most-used consonant, period. Its pronunciation has been relatively constant over the years, having been derived from the Latin & Hebrew alphabets. Sometimes it's doubled for words, making "wrong-looking" words when not doubled at random ("targeted" looks wrong to me, dammit). Other letters around it can change the pronunciation, like how "ti" becomes "sh", and of course how "th" sounds.

-As a very "hard-sounding" letter, "T" gets used a lot for superhero names. A-listers include Thor and The Thing. Recurring characters include Takemaster, Terminus, a bunch of people with "Tiger" in their name, Titania, and Tombstone. Not a lot of really famous guys, though.

TALOS THE TAMED (aka Talos the Untamed)
Created By:

First Appearance: The Incredible Hulk #418 (June 1994)
Role: Jobber Villain
Group Affiliations: The Skrulls

Technology 4 (+6)
Vehicles 6 (+8)

Advantages:
Benefit (Skrull Officer), Diehard, Improved Critical (Axe), Improved Smash, Power Attack, Ranged Attack 2

Powers:
"Skrull Cyborg" Protection 3 [3]

"Talos' Axe" (Flaws: Easily Removable) [5]
Strength-Damage +1 (Feats: Penetrating 6) (7 points)

Offense:
Unarmed +8 (+10 Damage, DC 25)
Axe +8 (+11 Damage, DC 26)
Initiative +2

Defenses:
Dodge +8 (DC 18), Parry +8 (DC 18), Toughness +8, Fortitude +7, Will +4

Complications:
Reputation (Skrull Unable to Shape-Shift)- This is considered an especially-horrible disability in Skrull Society.
Motivation (Honor)- Like a green Prince Zuko, Talos is obsessed with honor- he desperately wanted to regain it after failing to commit ritual suicide.

Total: Abilities: 66 / Skills: 30--15 / Advantages: 7 / Powers: 8 / Defenses: 10 (106)

-Talos is a SERIOUSLY weak character, taking the concept of a Skrull handicapped so he couldn't shapeshift (which is sort of interesting), and made him a cyborg. He nonetheless became one of the most feared and respected Skrull warriors. However, he lost this rep due to being captured by the Kree during their war with the Skrulls, and for refusing to commit ritual suicide in order to keep his honor. Now known as "Talos the Tamed" instead of "Talos the Untamed", he became depressed and suicidal, attempting "Suicide By Hulk" at the wedding of Rick Jones & Marlo Chandler. The Hulk, unwilling to go through with this, frequently tried to escape, and eventually begged to be left alone, leading Talos (and the Skrulls) to think he was unworthy, leading Talos to a heroes' welcome.

-Talos was thus a one-shot character, until a sudden appearance along with most of Marvel's un-used "Cosmic" guys in Annihilation, where he battled Devos the Devastator after both had been imprisoned- he was very handily defeated (he got Dazzled and then shocked). Talos later joined the battle against the Annihilation Wave after Ronan the Accuser (whose solo book featured the Talos/Devos fight) spared his life. Talos later appeared in Chip Zdarsky's Howard the Duck, ironically in disguise, hiring Howard to find some Macguffins that would help him restore his honor. The "Abundant Gems" allowed him to summon some warriors that threatened the Earth, but Howard and his human assistant disarmed him, and he was apprehended by the Fantastic Four.

-Talos is PL 10 because of his dangerous Axe attack, but his horrifically limited otherwise, lacking many special feats or characteristics. He's just a pretty strong guy who's tough, and has a bad-ass Penetrating Weapon. Just another Weapon Guy otherwise, and if you disarm him, he's pretty well screwed. Not BAD, and a decent threat for a group of PL 9s, but even most PL 10s should find a workable way to defeat him pretty quickly, especially since his defenses are so weak.

Yeah, much like many of Hickman's creations, the Maw has been wasted potential so far. He's still my favorite member of the Black Order, though.

I'm getting ready to restart my FTF MnM group and I'm thinking of making him the main villain.

I'd say Avengers: Infinity War definitely made better use of the Black Order than the comics. They were a perfect "Quirky Mini-Boss Squad", just powerful and threatening to challenge the heroes, while also having just enough personality and unique looks to not all blend together. They were decent threats that let the heroes look good against someone other than Thanos, so that Thanos didn't lose any of his menace jobbing to the heroes.

So yeah, this set of "The Marvel Index/Alphabet/Whatever" will probably take about a week to get through- it's a few names from the Atomic Think Tank (Talos, Ternak- VERY OLD BUILDS!), a handful of Ronin Army builds to shore up the "star power" (not a lot of big names in the list otherwise), and a handful of the notable (and non-notable) "Never Been Statted" guys, like T-Ray and others.

Motivation (Power)- Ternak wishes to take over the entire world via the Climate Control Device, which will plunge the entire Earth into a new Ice Age.
Weakness (Warm Temperatures)- Any temperature below freezing will prove fatal to one of the Cold People. Why they choose to screw with THE HUMAN TORCH of all super-heroes is beyond me, but they make a go of it.

Total: Abilities: 68 / Skills: 28--14 / Advantages: 15 / Powers: 21 / Defenses: 9 (99)

-Ternak is a very weird one-shot villain in a two-part issue of Fantastic Four. Gerry Conway has a good pedigree as writers go (The Night Gwen Stacy Died, mofos), but this idea just SCREAMS "Filler Story" between big arcs. Basically, he's the ruler of a bunch of Cold People (basically Yetis, adding to the number of Yeti-like Marvel characters) who gained some technology way back, and decided to take over the world. Problem was, they die if they're not under freezing conditions. Solution: Build a device that can plunge the entire globe into a permanent winter. Pretty goofy stuff, and by story's end, he and his people had been turned into humans by the device of their former ruler. Which made them happy, and got them to drop their plans of conquest, as they could now freely leave their mountain region. Like I said, Filler Issue. He & his ilk have never appeared since.

-Ternak is basically an Ape-Like humanoid of considerable power, being a Spidey-level powerhouse PL 8 character with some Cold-based abilities. He's stated to have "Ice Cold Skin", which I decided to stat up as a temporary Impaired effect (I assume it would be uncomfortable to touch them, much like licking a metal pole during winter) that's Reaction-based, but Limited to just one degree. I'm not sure how much of his people's devices are of his own devising (I'm assuming he oversaw the production of most of it, but wasn't an inventor himself), so hopefully someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Very odd character. PL 8's as far as I'm willing to go for a one-shot dude, though.

So did anyone see the new Big Hero Six TV special? I know a lot of fans were a bit taken aback by the el-cheapo art style, especially considering the CGI quality of the film, and how much more beautiful and smooth Tangled: The Series looks. The new villain seems like Generic Science Guy, though he's a bit mysterious. Using some generic crooks from the movie was a solid idea for "early villains", though, giving us some continuity.

The Dean of Hiro's school sounds so much like the Chief from Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? that I needed to remind myself than Lynn Thigpen was dead.

The new Big Hero 6 series has been decent so far. Nothing groundbreaking, but decent enough and room to grow. Makes me wish we could have gotten some Avatar: The Last Airbender quality art/animation on this project, but eh. We'll see.

How many episodes have aired yet? I've only seen the one-hour debut.
