Complications
- Curse Sworn: Harry is the current Avatar for the Phoenix Force, and with that comes an underlying purpose to his life. He will be driven to cleanse the rot that exists within certain corners of the cosmos, especially as it pertains to Wizarding Britain, which was actually why the Phoenix Force chose to bond with Harry rather than bonding with Jean Grey the way it normally would have done.
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort was not fooled the way the vast majority of Wizarding Britain had been. He was fully aware that it had been Harry who was his enemy, and a powerful enemy at that. It was for this reason that he had Harry's name, not Dahlia's, entered into the Goblet of Fire.
- Feud: Due to the actions of a previous host to the Phoenix Force while overcome by the darker and more destructive impulses of the cosmic entity, Harry is effectively embroiled in a feud with the Shi'ar Empire. Fortunately they haven't quite made the connection between the Phoenix Force and him just yet.
- Honor: Harry adheres to a strict code of honor. He always keeps his given word.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry believes very strongly in saving the damsels in distress. This belief amuses the Phoenix Force so it tends to let him do as he wishes in that vein of behavior so long as it doesn't get in the way of their overarching mission.
- Relationship: Harry is the older brother of the alleged Girl Who Lived, one Dahlia Lily Potter. Unlike his sister who grew up in the home of their Cousin Andromeda, Harry was forced to live in the home of their Aunt Petunia due to the belief that as a Squib he'd be much more comfortable in a muggle home.
- Weakness: While it is true that Harry can absorb and convert directed energy attacks in such a way as to benefit from them, the fact remains that he can't entirely negate their effects upon him, so it is still advisable for him to dodge or block things like the Killing Curse. Fortunately he has any number of ways to do that!

Build Comments: This is about as close to a player character build as I am willing to come for an actual Phoenix Force Avatar. They can't really be built within the normal Power Level to Power Point ratios for player characters due to what they represent, so instead I tried to nail all the important abilities of a Phoenix Avatar within a Power Level 12 framework, since PL 12 is still within the realm of realistic adventures.

The thing about Harry being identified as a "Squib"? He's not. What is really going on is that his magic is being tied up by the task of making sure he isn't screwed over by Wanda Maximoff and her reality twisting Chaos Magic.

Complications
- Accident: Wanda doesn’t always have full control of her hexes, and this can sometimes lead to both hilarious and disasterous consequences.
- Goblin Spark: Wanda has the potential to become an Avatar for the Goblin Force, which is sort of the polar opposite to the Phoenix Force in terms of what it represents. The Phoenix Force is somewhat akin to white blood cells, while the Goblin Force would be more akin to an all-consuming virus or plague. This is why the two Cosmic Forces don't get a long too well.
- Motivation: Justice: Wanda's driving purpose in life right now is to find her father and pulverize him, if not actually kill him, for abandoning her when her mutant powers first developed.
- Plot Device: In some timelines Wanda has demonstrated the ability to alter reality on a global scale, if not a universal one. This is so far outside the realm of what is possible for a character while still being playable that it has to be considered a Power Level X ability. In other words, her Reality Alteration power is still limited by her Power Level, even though she shouldn't technically be so limited.
- Relationship: Wanda is the sister of Pietro Maximoff, otherwise known as Quicksilver, and the daughter of Erik Lehnsherr, otherwise known as the infamous Magneto. She is also the protege of Madame Agatha Harkness.
- Reputation: Wanda is a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, though it is somewhat reluctantly on her part.
- Temper: Wanda is an angst-ridden, troubled, independent, unstable, and vengeful person. She has issues, to put it mildly. She is not a very happy person, as she has a lot of pent-up anger and hostility. Her temper has also caused her brother to become absolutely terrified of Wanda, as she was violently unstable even at a young age.

Complications
- Accident: The Uncontrolled flaw in combination with the "Reaction to Skin-on-Skin contact" extra, means that Rogue's Power Theft ability will happen every single time she touches someone else's skin with her own whether intentional or not. She has absolutely no control over this.
- Dissociative Identity Disorder: One of the drawbacks of Rogue's abilities is that she isn't just absorbing the powers of those she touches, but a copy of their entire life memories up to the moment she touches them. Unlike the powers which gradually fade, these duplicate memories are retained in her subconscious memory and on occasion will resurface causing any number of complications.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Rogue tries very hard to live up to the ideals and dream of Professor Charles Xavier. The problem is she's just not sure if his ideals and dream are the right fit for her.
- Power Flux: Rogue has little to no voluntary control over her powers, and it really is a matter of who she has made skin-to-skin contact with as to what set of powers she manifests. On a normal day of the week she is barely above human baseline levels of awesomesauce. However, should she touch someone with a useful set of powers, say Miss Marvel for instance, she suddenly becomes one of the heavy hitters of the X-Men. Unfortunately, more often than not she ends up with Todd Tolansky's powers instead of something actually... cool?
- Relationships: Rogue has the misfortune of being the adoptive daughter of Raven Darkholme, otherwise known as Mystique. On the bright side, that landed her with a very sympathetic and caring adoptive brother in the form of Kurt Wagner, aka Nightcrawler. She has something of a weird friendship with Katherine "Kitty" Pryde, as the two tend to grate on each other's nerves but are also "best friends forever" if Kitty is to be believed.

Builder's Note: I went back and added something to Harry's stat block just for Rogue here. It's something that Jean Grey as the Avatar to the Phoenix Force just either never thought of, or else didn't have the ability to do since she lacked the necessary baseline mutation.

Also, I really hate to say it... but Miss Marvel's powers are really the ones Rogue needs to be at the top of her game for her stated Power Level. She is massively under her caps without those powers even with the powers of either Todd or Pietro, despite the latter two still qualifying her as PL 12. Without any augments at all, she rates as a Power Level 10 character... and that is solely on the back of her having PL 10 attack and effect rank ratios for her Power Theft ability.

Complications
- Motivation: Thrills: Dahlia is a Marauder through and through, and while she will do the daring heroics when she needs to, she would much rather be playing harmless pranks on her friends, or better yet on the elder years of Ravenclaw House for what they tend to do to her good friend Luna Lovegood.
- Relationship: Dahlia is the younger twin sister of Harry Potter, but until the end of her third year at Hogwarts she didn't even know she had a brother since no one was willing to tell her as such. It took Sirius Black, her fugitive godfather, asking where her brother was for her to discover that fact. Boy was he pissed when she admitted she had no idea. Not at Dahlia mind, but at her foster mother, Andromeda Tonks, among others.
- Reputation: Dahlia is also known as "Dahlia Princebane" due to what happened to a certain pompous blonde git in her first year at Hogwarts... It never repeated itself the following years save for one notable instance in her second year, where she wound up spending a week in detention for what she did to Snape. Naturally, this is what tends to happen when you let Andromeda Tonks have unrestricted access to the daughter of Lily Evans. And yes, that epithet is just as annoying for Severus Snape to hear as you might imagine it would be.
- Weakness: The Holly Wand isn't the wand that best suits Dahlia, but it is the one she was expected to use. As such, she is Impaired when making the Check Required rolls for any spells she casts with that wand.
- Yandere Little Sis: When Harry shows up and the girls of Hogwarts discover he what he looks like, the vast majority of them won't give a damn about the notion that he is supposed to be a squib. They'll be far more interested in the fact that he's a freaking HUNK. This will annoy Dahlia to no end, and she will do all in her power to punish anyone trying to steal her brother from her.

Dahlia's Prank: She hexed Draco in such a way that he couldn't touch his grooming products with a ten foot pole for a month each time he tried to get her in trouble with someone. Meanwhile she did the exact opposite with Snape. These were only Confundus Charms, mind you. It should be noted that in my setting, Occlumency only protects you from having your mind "read." It doesn't do much, if anything, to stop your mind from being manipulated, otherwise everyone and their mother would attempt to learn it so as to gain an instant immunity to one of the Unforgivable Curses.

I should also note that the Notice-Me-Not charm is actually called the "Disillusionment Charm" and all it does is cause your skin, hair, clothes and eyes to behave the same way a Chameleon's scales would do with it's surroundings. It wouldn't stop Wolverine, X-23, Sabretooth, or just about any telepath, from noticing you! The closest you get to true invisibility in Potterverse is Death's Cloak of Invisibility. That was after all, a major plot point of the seventh book.

Complications
Best Friends Forever, Right?: Prior to Hogwarts, Daphne and Dahlia were basically inseperable due to the fact that Daphne's father worked with Andromeda at her law practice. This lasted right up until they reached Hogwarts and wound up being sorted into the two houses that couldn't hate each other more. That said, Daphne is probably the only girl currently attending Hogwarts as a student or a guest from one of the two visiting schools, who has any hope of dating Harry without getting "punished" for it by his sister. The only other possible exclusion would probably be Luna Lovegood.
- Motivation: Patriotism: While Daphne doesn't really support the notion of Blood Purity the way others in Slytherin House might, she does hold a strong sense of pride in the cultural heritage of Wizarding Britain. This can often cause her to come into conflict with Dahlia and other members of Dumbledore's faction since they don't quite understand the desire she has to maintain antiquated and possibly out of date, traditions.
- Mythic Weakness: Pregnancy is incredibly dangerous for the members of Daphne's maternal family due to the fact that their magic is constantly active during the process. This is because it is the only way to ensure the child survives the inferno that is Daphne's body. Unfortunalely, this has disastrous consequences as a person's magic isn't meant to be actively doing something with no rest for nine months straight. That'd be like trying to go without sleep for nine months. This is in part, what results in the untimely deaths of the women in Daphne's family.
- Relationship: Where Dahlia has a secondary best friend in Luna Lovegood, Daphne has one in Tracey Davis. Likewise, where Dahlia has a sister, surrogate though she may be, in Nymphadora Tonks, Daphne has an absolutely incorrigible sister in Astoria. Unlike Dahlia, Daphne's father at least still lives. Her mother on the other hand, passed on to the Next Great Adventure not long after Astoria was born due to the aforementioned complications.
- Rivalry: Daphne doesn't like Ron Weasley or Hermione Granger at all as she views them as having stolen her best friend from her. She especially dislikes Hermione Granger due to the fact that she claims to be the Brightest Witch of the Age, when all she does is regurgetate information found in text books.
- Weakness: Daphne is Fortitude Disabled when it comes to her attempts to resist Environmental Heat, and always suffers at least one degree of failure from fire or heat-based attacks. This is due to just how hot her core body temperature actually is.

Ne Cede Malis Brainstorm & Notes

Ne Cede Malis
Premise: In order to allow their child a chance to live free from fear, a pair of parents send their only son to a world not so very far from home. On this world, their child is adopted by Lily and James Potter, and will go on to be one of the most influential figures in the magical world, or else if things go badly, will be the end of magic.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry’s biological parents must leave him a message within his mind that explains his race, identity and powers that will activate when he reaches a certain age.
- Besides the usual powers that all Martians possess, Harry must also possess an affinity towards magic. How that affinity manifests is up to the author, but a Burning Martian is plausible.
- Harry must encounter and befriend Raven (who is around his age) before his 11th birthday.
- Raven must help to teach Harry how to harness his magic.
- Before Harry’s 17th birthday, he and Raven must be acting as heroes.
- Harry and Raven must be approached by members of the Justice League, either because they fear Harry’s powers, or because they wish to offer them a place within Young Justice. This should occur around the time that Artemis would have joined The Team.
- The only ones who know that Harry is a Martian to start with are Raven, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Superman, Miss Martian, and Superboy. Meanwhile, the only ones who can know he is a White Martian to start with are Raven, Miss Martian, Martian Manhunter and Batman. Miss Martian is included because it is impossible to hide such from Martians.
- Harry and Raven must be far more ruthless towards villains that show no sign of remorse for their actions than the other heroes tend to be.
- In this idea, until a Martian reaches adulthood, they will age at around the same rate as a human so as to make it easier for Harry to blend in with human society.
- Harry’s pairing must involve at least Raven, if not Miss Martian as well. Other additions to the pairing are strictly optional.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry running away from the Dursley family after he meets Raven.
- Harry having subconsciously used Density Shifting as a means of protecting him from Voldemort’s attack with the Killing Curse (this makes no sense).
- Harry refusing to attend Hogwarts because of the negative intent Raven detects from Dumbledore or Snape, one of whom is responsible for delivering Harry’s Hogwarts Letter if this option is selected.
- Harry and/or Raven leaving Voldemort, Dumbledore and/or Snape in a permanent comatose state.
- Harry and/or Raven leaving a member of the Light in a coma.
- Bashing of members of Wizarding Britain, especially as it pertains to Ron, Ginny, Molly, Snape, Dumbledore and Voldemort (that last one likely doesn’t need to be there).
Forbidden Things:
- Harry the Emo Doormat, at least after Raven becomes involved.
- Harry being in a relationship with a male, especially not Dick Grayson or Connor Kent.

Complications
- Enemy: Various people wish to get their hands on Harry, either so they can kill him, to use him as a weapon against their enemies, or else to prophet from him by marrying him to one of their daughters against his will.
- Martian Chick Magnet: Part of the other reason that Burning Martians tend to be hunted down with extreme prejudice, is that they tend to attract female Green & White Martians to them like they were moths attracted to an open flame (literally in some cases).
- Motivation: Acceptance: Harry truly just wants to be accepted by the other Martians, whether on Earth or on Mars, and be left more or less in peace to live how he feels is a fair and just way to live.
- Power Loss: Harry loses his powers and his Strength is reduced to 1, while his Stamina is reduced to 0 when he is exposed to Extreme Cold environments. This is basically the opposite condition to the weakness to fire that typical Martians share.
- Prejudice: Burning Martians, possibly even more so than White Martians, tend to be feared, hated and hunted down with extreme prejudice when they turn up on Mars due to the fact that virtually all other Martians have an innate psychological fear of fire and Burning Martians are actually able to generate the stuff naturally.
- Relationship: Harry shares a Psychic Rapport with Rachel "Raven" Roth that causes them to be incredibly affectionate towards one another, even while they both tend to be rather standoffish towards other potential romantic interests, unless it is a girl and she understands Raven is first in Harry's heart. Harry fully intends to give Trigon a "Shovel Speech" of his own though.
- Secret Identity: Harry Potter is really the Martian Magehunter, one of the most notorious superheroes to heil from Great Britain on account of the nature of his super powers.

Complications
- Accident: Raven's self-control sometimes slips, allowing her to become overwhelmed by the ambient emotions in her environment. This will cause her to suffer pain from strong negative emotions, or various other effects from the other sorts of emotions someone might have. In such instances she might even unwittingly make use of her Emotion Manipulation or Numb Emotions powers on hapless bystanders. While she always regrets these lapses, she can't quite control them.
- Enemies: Because of the nature of her birth and the knowledge she has at her disposal, there are those who would do just about anything to get their hands on Raven so as to use her for their own possibly nefarious purposes.
- Motivation: Justice: Raven wishes to bring an end to her father's reign of terror across multiple dimensions. It was partly to that end that she first encountered Harry. He was the first to agree to help her, and hopefully not the last.
- Relationship: Raven shares a psychic rapport with Harry Potter that causes them to be rather close to one another on an emotional level. She is also the first born child of Trigon the Terrible, and the one he would like to see join him on his conquests more than any of his other children.
- Temper: Raven's dark nature occasionally threatens to dominate her personality. When giving into her darker emotions or when overpowered by demonic influences, she becomes the demonic embodiment of Pride. During these times it is largely up to Harry to bring her back to her senses.
- Uncontrolled Precognition: When using her Trance or Ritualist advantages, or even when she is just trying to sleep, Raven can receive precognitive flashes (hence the uncontrolled flaw on her Empathic Precognition power). These flashes will either knock her unconscious, or make it impossible for her to get a good night's sleep. In the latter case, this means she is incapable of recovering from damage by sleeping the way most characters would be capable of doing.
- Weakness: One of the major drawbacks with weaponizing one's soul the way that Raven has, is that it leaves her soul much more vulnerable to external attack than it otherwise would have been. This means attacks that are specifically aimed at targeting her Soul Self have an additional degree of effect against Raven. In other words, her worst enemies in the world are Dementors.

Complications
- Motivation: Responsibility: Megan has been deeply inspired both by the heroics of her uncle, and by the television series known as "Hello, Megan", so much so in the latter case that she has virtually patterned everything about herself after the titular character of the show. She does however retain enough individuality to know the difference between herself and said character and to wish to use her abilities to help the people of her knew world as best as she is capable of.
- Power Loss: Megan loses her powers and suffers a reduction of her Strength to 1 and Stamina to 0 when she is exposed to fire.
- Relationship: Megan is one of John Jones' many hundreds of familial relations. Due to the significant number of relatives he has, it is even possible that Harry is a relative of hers as well. John claims he had not met Megan until she stowed away on his ship in June, while Megan would claim they have long since shared a close familial relationship.
- The Trouble with Boys: Megan became smitten with Superboy when she first met him. The problem then, is that she has become equally smitten with Harry, and doesn't quite know what to do about it.
- Weakness: For some reason, Pressure Depths will cause Megan to shrink in size. Why this doesn't happen to Harry is unknown.

Complications
- Curse Sworn: The internal politics of Slytherin House works on the basis of Quid Pro Quo. Because of that fact, Flora and Hestia have managed to acquire quite a powerful position in the House due to the fact that their mental link with one another allows them to be some of the best tutors one could hope for! However, such systems of politics are never going to be pleasant in the long term political for attractive young women.
- Feud: There is something of a longstanding feud between the members of Slytherin House, which Flora and her sister are members of, and the members of Gryffindor House. This feud has within the past two decades, even become an all out war due to the fact that the leaders of the two opposing sides in the most recent Wizarding War were each graduates of one of those two houses.
- Motivation: Greed: Flora was sorted into Slytherin House because she desires a powerful and influential position in the world from which to effect change. She just hasn't quite figured out what it is she wants to change just yet.
- Relationship: Flora's closest relationship is with her twin sister. The two of them have by now realized that any romantic interests they may wind up having is going to have to be with someone that they can share with each other, due to their tendency to get jealous of one another if they don't share a romantic interest.
- Reputation: Due to the way in which Flora and Hestia have developed their personal cryptophasia, they have developed a reputation as being rather creepy. This is because they tend to talk in stereo with one another, much like the Grady twins from "The Shining." They don't have to talk like that, though.

- Curse Sworn: The internal politics of Slytherin House works on the basis of Quid Pro Quo. Because of that fact, Flora and Hestia have managed to acquire quite a powerful position in the House due to the fact that their mental link with one another allows them to be some of the best tutors one could hope for! However, such systems of politics are never going to be pleasant in the long term political for attractive young women.
- Feud: There is something of a longstanding feud between the members of Slytherin House, which Hestia and her sister are members of, and the members of Gryffindor House. This feud has within the past two decades, even become an all out war due to the fact that the leaders of the two opposing sides in the most recent Wizarding War were each graduates of one of those two houses.
- Motivation: Greed: Hestia was sorted into Slytherin House because she desires an attractive and wealthy husband and will do just about anything to fulfill that goal.
- Relationship: Hestia's closest relationship is with her twin sister. The two of them have by now realized that any romantic interests they may wind up having, are going to have to be with someone that they can share with each other, due to their tendency to get jealous of one another if they don't share a romantic interest.
- Reputation: Due to the way in which Flora and Hestia have developed their personal cryptophasia, they have developed a reputation as being rather creepy. This is because they tend to talk in stereo with one another, much like the Grady twins from "The Shining." They don't have to talk like that, though.

- Addiction: Conner's use of the Shields listed in this profile tends to cause him to become far more aggressive and hostile, both towards his friends, as well as towards his enemies, and attempting to stop using them will have the same effects upon him as withdrawal from any number of addictive substances would have upon a human, becoming first Fatigued & Impaired, then Exhausted & Disabled, and finally Incapacitated based on how long he goes without using a Shield. At the GM's discretion, a fourth degree could exist, "Transformed ~ Cured of Addiction." This is a Rank 14 Fortitude resisted Affliction.
- Motivation: Recognition: Conner wants to be recognized by his father, Clark Kent, as a worthy successor to the Superman legacy.
- Power Loss: General: When on a world with a red sun, Connor loses all of his superhuman powers, which reduces his Strength and Stamina to just a 2.
- Power Loss: Shields: The power boost from a Shield will only last for a single scene, and then it can't be used again until after another full scene has passed Conner by. Without a Shield's augmentation, Conner is a Power Level 12 character, instead of a staggering Power Level 14.

Flagellum Deorum Brainstorm & Notes

Flagellum Deorum
Premise: Diana wasn’t the only child of Zeus to be born within recent years. There was another; a child born with might and magic who was destined to be a great hero… or to end us all!
Required Inclusions:
- Light or Gray aligned Harry that is powerful or stronger.
- When the story starts is entirely up to the author.
- Much like he did in ancient myths, Zeus took on the guise of an animal *hint, hint*, and had his way with Lily J. Potter, née Evans. This resulted in her conceiving Harry Potter.
- Ares must have taken the form of Remus Lupin during this same period of time, either on purpose, or as a reincarnation after his defeat at Diana’s hands.
- Harry basically inherits the same powerset that Jason of Themyscira would have possessed, had Jason of Themyscira ever existed in this scenario, which he will not.
- At some point, Diana must be made aware of Harry’s existence and seek him out so as to help him to become the hero she believes he has always been meant to be.
- IF the Justice League is involved, then one of them must act as a paternal influence in Harry’s life, with Diana becoming a maternal influence.
- All pairings are welcome within the confines of this story.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Full Justice League / Young Justice / General DC comics crossover.
- Other crossovers or crossover references being employed (yes, this gives license to use Nasuverse if the author wishes to do so).
- Super/OP!Harry (he is the brother of Diana of Themyscira, so naturally).

Complications
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort would like very much to see Harry killed off for real. He would however, much prefer it if he were to be the one to kill Harry, especially if he got to gloat before delivering the fatal blow.
- Fame: Harry is quite famous for having 'defeated' the Dark Lord Voldemort when he was but a wee lad. In reality, the deed was performed by his late mother, and it is she who Harry feels people should be celebrating, not Harry.
- Feud: As a member of Gryffindor, Harry is party to an ongoing feud between his own House and the House of Slytherin. This is irrespective of whether or not he wishes to be a part of this feud and it could potentially get in the way of him forming any friendships with members of Slytherin House.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry is one of the most honest and good people in the world. He truly wishes to help others, no matter the cost to himself.
- Relationships: Harry has a few cherished friendships, most notably with Hermione Granger and the Weasley family. These friendships might soon be tested though. He is also the half-brother to Diana of Themyscira among various other notable individuals.
