La Vita Nuova Della Strega Del Tempo
Premise: An accident gives an embittered, desperate Ultimecia a new chance at life in a new universe. Haunted by dreams of a brutal time period, Sorceress Daphne Greengrass fights a for a new t cause…
Required Inclusions:
- The primary pairing must be Harry Potter / Daphne Greengrass (aka Ultimecia).
- Daphne must be the reincarnation of the Sorceress Ultimecia, otherwise known as Artemisia.
- Daphne must be the primary protagonist of the story or series, with Harry as the secondary protagonist, and anyone else as tertiary protagonists.
- Daphne must figure out a way to obtain the services of Harry Potter as her Knight.
Preferred Inclusions:
- It would be preferable if the main part of the story started in fourth year.
- Daphne shouldn’t have access to Ultimecia’s full powers right off the bat.
- Harry still managing to unite the Deathly Hallows and becoming the Master of Death as a compliment to Daphne being the Sorceress of Time.
Optional Inclusions:
- Daphne’s appearance changing to more closely resemble those of Ultimecia.
- Pairings other than the one listed under Required Inclusions are entirely up to the author.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being romantically paired with anyone male.
- Harry the Emo Doormat.
- Daphne going evil.

Sorceress Corruption: Use of High Sorcery powers to inflict pain or suffering on others solely for the sake of inflicting pain or suffering on others, or using them to maliciously kill someone, or else using those powers in anger, risks the Sorceress suffering from Sorceress Corruption. If she lacks a Knight when doing such things, then the accumulation of Sorceress Corruption is automatic, if she does have one she is allowed a Will Resistance Check against a DC of [10 + half her Will Resistance Modifier] in order to avoid gaining a Corruption Point.

Other than those rules, Sorceress Corruption has a great deal in common with the Dark Side of the Force in Star Wars, including the fact that it tends to mutate a character's physical appearance as they gain more points. It generally follows the Corruption Rules as outlined on this blog post. Use of Dark Magic, such as in the case of the Horcrux Ritual, can have similar effects on both male and female spellcasters.

Complications
- Enemies: Daphne considers both the Dark Lord Voldemort and Headmaster Albus Dumbledore to be her enemies due to the fact that the conflict between those two men could cause the mundane world to become aware of magic and in doing so, recreate the pogroms that were so popular in her previous life.
- Last One Standing: Daphne is the reincarnation of the Sorceress who lived at the "End of Time" on the world known as Mondas. At that point in Mondas' history, all other Sorceresses had been hunted to extinction by the organization known as SeeD. Thus it is that Daphne carries a small bit of survivor's guilt even though she now finds herself in a world where magic users are far more populous.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Daphne is the reincarnation of one of the most reviled Sorceresses in Mondas' entire history, and now that she has been given a chance to live a second time, she wishes to do right by the world to the best of her ability. She therefore tries very hard to control her powers so that they don't control her.
- Past Life: The remnants of Daphne's prior life have a bad tendency to intrude on her current life. This usually manifests in the form of the occasional time displaced SeeD showing up to try and execute her or those close to her, but occasionally as is the case with Harry, it has a far more intimate influence on her life.
- Power Loss: Daphne needs her hands free and her mouth unbound in order to cast her spells. She also needs her wand in hand to perform her Wizarding spells, but is unrestricted by her wand when it comes to casting her High Sorcery spells.

Build Comments: This is what Temporal Ambush does: Cutscene, Squall managed to avoid it cause he's just that tough, not cause he dodged it. You'll also note, she has to lower her defenses for a round to utilize it, which is intentional given what it does.

Complications
- Destiny: Fate has decried that Harry is the one who ultimately has to defeat the Dark Lord calling himself "Voldemort" no matter what anyone else may say or attempt to do about it.
- Honor: Despite what the name suggests, Dark Knights are not always despicable in nature. While they tend to follow a path contrary to the more orthodox orders of knighthood, they are still bound by a code of honor and walk a path of righteousness. These keen warriors care not for titles, yet hold themselves to a standard above their fellow man.
- Motivation: Justice: Dark Knights such as Harry are those individuals who have taken up arms to serve the downtrodden. They serve no lords or institutions, believing no one is exempt from justice, no matter what their position in society. They protect the commonfolk not only from banditry and wild beasts, but from corrupt men who would oppress them.
- Past Life: Harry only vaguely recalls his past life as Ingvar Warsoul, but what he does remember has allowed him to gain an instinctive knowledge of how to use a blade as well as a rather belated realization that he screwed up something fierce when he told the Hat not to sort him into Slytherin House.
- Power Loss: Harry needs his hands free and his mouth unbound in order to cast his spells. He also needs his wand in hand to perform his Wizarding spells, but is unrestricted by his wand when it comes to using any of the effects in his Path of the Conqueror array.
- Relationships: Harry is the son of Lily and James Potter, and therefore the sole remaining member of the House of Potter, as well as the only recognized heir to the House of Peverell. Harry is also the godson of Sirius Black and the person Sirius named as his Sole Heir, which in turn makes Harry the Heir Presumptive Primary to the House of Black, while Sirius himself is Heir Apparent.
- The Path of the Conqueror: Those Dark Knights who would travel the Path of the Conqueror are those who desire glory on the battlefield, and who believe in utterly subjugating their enemies. It isn't enough for these Knights to simply establish order. No, they must utterly crush the forces of chaos!

Premise: “As a child, you would wait, and watch from far away. But you always knew that you’d be the one to work while they all play. And you, you lay, awake at night and scheme, of all the things that you would change, but it was just a dream. Here we are, don’t turn away now, we are the warriors that built this town!”
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must inherit a membership within the Hellfire Club from one of his two parents.
- Harry must be found and influenced by the club before entering Hogwarts. The extent of this influence is entirely up to the individual author.
- By the time that Harry enters Hogwarts, he must be aware of the nature of the Inner Circle, if not an active member of said circle in his own right.
- At least one of the Queens, preferably Selene, must take on a motherly role for Harry.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Selene teaching Harry magic in advance to his attendance at Hogwarts.
- Harry possessing a mutant ability in addition to his ability to utilize magic.
- Harry being introduced to a young Emma Frost before she gains her membership in the Hellfire Club, possibly by means of her accompanying her sister who was the White Queen at the time to one of the Functions of the Hellfire Club.
- Harry viewing Sebastian Shaw as a father figure.
Optional Inclusions:
- Lily and James having survived and it having actually been from either Charlus or Dorea that Harry inherited his membership in the Hellfire Club due to their sacrifice to protect him.

Complications
- Motivation: Long-Term Thinking: Selene is an immortal who has resigned herself to the fate of helping to guide humanity on the path of goodness and peace. Despite her best efforts, she is but one woman and has been forced to work with long-term thinking in order to guide humanity.
- Power Loss: Selene isn't allowed to use Momentary Speed more often than once every 10 rounds. In other words, she can't use it more than once per minute.
- Psychic Vampirism: Use of Selene's Psychic Sorceress powers at higher than rank 6 (with the exception of her Psi-Screen) drains her Stamina by 1 rank per use. If reduced to 0 Stamina, she ages rapidly; her other Primary Abilities are soon Impaired and eventually Disabled. Selene can replenish her Stamina to full by using her Life Drain power. When her Stamina is restored, all her other Abilities are also restored to full.
- Relationships: Over time, Selene has developed a following of mortals who are willing to give her portions of their life force to help keep her alive and powerful. Most of these individuals live in her secret kingdom of Nova Roma. It is also worth noting that while Selene considers Harry to be her son, the ghost that lives in Hogwarts commonly known as the Grey Lady is her actual daughter, or what remains thereof.
- Secret: Selene likes to keep the existence of Nova Roma a secret from the general public.

Complications
- Major Power Flaw: For all of his imperviousness to damage, Shaw cannot fly or teleport, so if someone with sufficient strength were to pick him up and throw him a sufficiently large distance away from the battlefield, it would at the very least be a major inconvenience to the man.
- Motivation: Greed: "What is mine... is mine. And what is theirs... is mine." ~~ Shaw's own words on the matter.
- Obsession: According to the female members of the Hellfire Club, Shaw is "...a sexually obsessed little cretin." He is also presumed to have designed the New York Headquarters for the Hellfire Club building "...with all of his personal kinks and perversions in mind...", those namely being his voyeurism.
- Power Overload: Shaw's abilities can be overloaded by too great of an influx of power, such as being hit with too many superhumanly strong punches. Shaw can also be defeated if an opponent focuses on immobilizing him without striking him with significant force, or if something heavy were to fall on him, for though he can sap the kinetic energy, the weight of the object would still crush him unless he is somehow strong enough to lift it.
- Secret: Shaw has no known criminal record, and the general public is both unaware that he is a member of the Hellfire Club and that he is a mutant.
- Weakness: Once Shaw's powers have absorbed enough energy to overload them, if he were to attempt to absorb anything further, it would place him into a temporary coma. The exact duration of this coma has yet to be determined.

- Child Hater: Donald's hatred of mutants is so extreme, that he believes it would be best that they be identified young and killed before they even awaken their powers in the first place.
- Disability: Donald is a Quadriplegic, having suffered grievous damage to all of his limbs save for his neck and head. Without his Cybernetic body he is completely incapable of self-mobility, and is therefore effectively Incapacitated.

Complications
- Destiny: Fate has decried that Harry is the one who ultimately has to defeat the Dark Lord calling himself "Voldemort" no matter what anyone else may say or attempt to do about it.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry will often go out of his way in order to save the life of some hapless damsel in distress. This also often leads him and those who he calls his friends, into rather harrowing situations.
- Power Loss: Harry needs his hands free and his mouth unbound in order to do pretty much anything that goes beyond the capabilities of a normal human, save for using his Electrical Interference, Shocking Touch and Lightning Flash powers.
- Prejudice: Part of the reason that Harry was taken in by Selene, was because as far as his father could determine Harry was a squib. Granted his father didn't even consider alternative methods of learning magic, such as the Sorcery practiced by the Masters of the Mystic Arts, all he cared about was that Harry couldn't learn the magic of Hogwarts. This has left a stigma attached to Harry, as many witches and wizards consider squibs to be third class citizens, just a step above muggles and a step below muggle-borns.
- Relationships: Harry is the elder brother to the so-called "Girl Who Lived", one Dahlia Potter. This means he is also the son of Lily & James Potter, though realistically he considers Selene Gallio to be his mother and occasionally deigns to consider Sebastian Shaw as a father. Harry's also got a Dogfather that's unfortunately been consigned to Azkaban Prison by his bastard best friend, and there's very little that Harry can currently do about that situation.
- Secret: Much like most of the other members of the Hellfire Club who are mutants, Harry tends to conceal this fact from the general public. He is also one of the few outsiders to have been allowed to become aware of the existence of Nova Roma, and is helping to keep it's existence a secret.
- Weakness: Those things which insulate something against electricity, or which would ground an electrical current, tend to have their typical effects on Harry's electricity based powers.

Complications
- Motivation: Responsibility: Emma is someone who has a lot of role models in her life to look up to, but none of them are particularly good role models. It is possibly for this reason that she was sort of star struck by Selene and her surrogate son, Harry Potter, when she first met them and desires to live up to their example.
- Phoenix Spark: Emma is noteworthy as a telepath for the fact that she is the person who is the second most compatible with the Phoenix Force in the entire world after Jean Grey herself. This is not a good thing however, as it means she is just as vulnerable to the Phoenix Force taking her body for a joy ride as Jean is.
- Power Loss: Against enemies with any form of mental defense, Emma is at a severe disadvantage, if not being completely incapable of fighting that enemy entirely. This is largely on account of the fact that she has yet to discover her secondary mutation.
- Relationship: Emma is the middle daughter in the Frost family and therefore the most likely to succeed her father in the role of CEO of Frost Enterprises now that her brother has been deemed unfit for the position. This is in spite of the fact that Adrienne has been grooming Emma to succeed her within the Hellfire Club for nearly three years now.

Complications
- Dark Side: In times of overwhelming stress it is possible that Jean's consciousness will be suppressed by the absurdly powerful Cosmic Firebird that sleeps within her subconscious mind. This is not in any way, a good thing, as the Phoenix Force is not in any way a morning person! Odds are, when this occurs, someone will die a painful death and it might even be an entire planet that gets killed! Look up the Dark Phoenix stat block provided for the Magic Dance story for a rough idea what Jean's stat block would look like in such situations.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Jean was inspired by Xavier's dream for peaceful coexistence between mutants and everyday humans.
- Prejudice: Jean isn't exactly hiding the fact that she is a mutant and therefore a cut above the common, vulgar, weak, licentious crowd. This means that she will eventually be targeted by said crowd simply because she is different from them.
- Relationship: Jean is extremely fond of Charles Xavier. She considers the man to be a surrogate father figure and looks to him to provide her with guidance in her life. She is also the target of the crushes of her fellow X-Men, and no, not even Lorna is entirely immune to the tendency to have romantic fantasies involving Jean, in fact with Lorna it just winds up being worse.

- Bi The Way: Lorna can't help but fantasize about getting Jean or Emma involved in a three way with both herself and either Harry or Alex. She hasn't quite yet made up her mind as to which boy she would prefer. If she can get BOTH Jean and Emma involved she would be very happy.
- Disability: Lorna's paternal family has a known history of megalomania, depression, and various other psychological problems that she could potentially develop herself. Whether she will or not has yet to be determined.
- Embarrassing Name: Look at the initials of her name, it shouldn't be hard to deduce what the problem here is. Her thoughts on the matter: "Explains a lot, doesn't it?"
- Luke, I am Your Father!: Harry's exact words on the matter when he discovers who Lorna's father happens to be. Not that she disagrees with him, as her relationship with Magneto can be considered rather similar to Luke Skywalker's relationship with Darth Vader. She is also Magneto's only biological child, however she can be considered the sibling of Pietro and Wanda Maximoff through adoption. Despite all that, only Pietro really benefited from being raised by Magneto, and look how he turned out.
- Motivation: Pacifism: While Lorna is willing to use her mutation to make her life easier, she has no interest in being a superhero or a supervillain. She wants more than anything to be left out of such irksome business. One only has to know who her father is to understand why she wants to stay out of such conflicts.

Complications
- Motivation: Doing Good: Dahlia has by now figured out that it was her brother who should be famous for surviving Voldemort's attack on the Potter Family's home in Godric's Hollow thirteen years ago. However since he is nowhere to be found, she has been doing all she can to hold down the fort until he returns.
- Power Loss: Dahlia needs her hands free and her mouth unbound in order to cast her spells. She also needs her wand in hand to perform her Wizarding spells
- Relationships: Dahlia is the younger and ostensibly more famous, sister of Harry Potter. This makes her the daughter of Lily and James Potter, and granddaughter of Selene Gallio's previous protege, one Dorea Euphemia Potter, née Black. It was through Dorea's sacrifice that the twins survived that night.
- Secret: Dahlia has been keeping the fact that she possesses the Marauder's Map a complete secret from her parents and pretty much anyone else save for Fred and George Weasley as those two were who gave it to her, and her best friend, Daphne Greengrass. Sure, Severus Snape, Remus Lupin and Sirius Black all found out about it last year, but all three reluctantly agreed it was for the best if no one else found out about it. It was in that same year that the Marauders ejected two members and then immediately recruited a solitary new member.
- She's a Redhead, Better Take Warning: If you try to tell Dahlia that her brother will never return to Wizarding Britain, you are in for a stinging hex at the bare minimum, if not worse! If you bring up the dysfunctional nature of her parental unit's relationship, a stinging hex will be the least of your worries. If you make a pass at her and you are a boy whose name isn't Harry Potter, you might as well go dig your own grave.

Stinging Hexes: are built as such: Ranged Affliction 1 (Resisted by Fortitude [1st: Dazed, 2nd: Stunned], Limited Degree). They are worth exactly 1 pp, and thus could probably be handled using the rules for Features. In the seventh book while trying to evade the Snatchers, Hermione probably cast the Stinging Hex while appending either the Solem, Duo, Tria or Maxima modifiers on the end of the spell, as each of those modifiers alters the spell in one way or another, with Solem in particular being designed to make otherwise harmless spells into harmful ones. All of that, combined with the fact that I don't think the Stinging Hex has a recognized incantation, and I'm just not interested in adding it to any of my stat blocks, even if it is a favorite spell of a particular character.

This is because I absolutely refuse to believe that the House of Gaunt had an exclusive claim on being descended from Salazar Slytherin! Complications
- Frail: Due to the Blood Malediction that she suffers from, Daphne is easily exhausted. At any time when she makes an Acrobatics, Athletics or other physically demanding skill check, as well as for every 5 rounds of sustained combat (even when using ranged attacks), she must simultaneously make a DC 10 Fortitude check. If she fails this check then she becomes Fatigued. Every time she uses one of the aforementioned skills within the same scene, as well as for every 5 rounds of combat within a single scene, the DC for her next Fortitude check in that same scene will increase by 1 point. Standard rules regarding additional degrees of fatigue apply.
- Motivation: Thrills: Daphne lives for the excitement she gains simply by being the best friend of possibly the most danger prone witch in the entire world. She can maintain that friendship despite their being in separate houses, due to the fact that Dahlia wound up being sorted into Hufflepuff rather than Gryffindor the way everyone had expected her to be. This was hardly surprising to Daphne though, the girl is nothing if not loyal to those she cares about.
- Relationship: Daphne is the adoring older sister of Astoria Greengrass, both of whom are the daughters to one of the few wizarding aristocrats to have actually followed the proper protocol before calling himself a "Lord", and are thus daughters of one of the few individuals recognized by the Crown as a Magical Peer, even if just a minor one.
- Secret: Daphne is far too embarrassed by where she first encountered Dahlia's brother to ever bring up the fact that she has in fact met the boy to her best friend! It would after all require Daphne to tell Dahlia that she met Harry because her father took her whole family to the cabaret that Harry seemingly lives in!
