Hope of Morning Brainstorm & Notes

Hope of Morning
Premise: “When the hope of morning starts to fade in you, I won’t dare let darkness have it’s way with you; and the hope of morning makes you worth the fight. I will not be giving in tonight!”
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must be Trigon’s son (how Harry is conceived is up to the individual author).
- Due to time travel shenanigans, Harry must effectively be older than Rachel Roth.
- Harry must have demonic traits (eg. grey, purple or dark peach skin colour, a 2nd pair of eyes).
- Unless he's around people who know his identity or acting as a hero Harry must have some way of disguising his demonic traits.
- Harry must possess all of the abilities that Raven does only at a higher level due to starting his training before her. This includes a degree of enhanced strength, durability and intelligence.
- Harry must start off as a solo hero before later joining the Justice League after it is founded.
- Harry must one of the more ruthless heroes towards criminals and super villains
- Harry must actively fight against Trigon and the other Sons of said demon.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry falling into an alley in Gotham City, and either interrupting a fight between Batman and one or more of his rogues, or else stumbling upon one of the female rogues as she is making good her escape from a crime scene.
- Including the events of some of the DC movies (eg. Crisis on Two Earths, Justice League: Doom) or Injustice: Gods Among Us
- Using one or two of the TV series (eg. TV - Justice League Unlimited, Young Justice, Teen Titans) and/or comic series as a base for the story
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry being paired with Diana of Themyscira.
- Harry ending up with a Harem of girls in his pairing.
- Harry picking a code name that is a species of bird.
- Wonder Woman and Raven wearing their Injustice: Gods Among Us outfits.
- Harry's emotional control being worse than Raven's.

Complications
- Monstrous: Under normal circumstances Harry doesn't look much different from anyone else. However if his emotions become sufficiently aroused and inclined towards the Wrath that he represents as a Son of Trigon, then it is possible that his more demonic traits will manifest. These include red toned skin, and four sets of eyes, all of which are a brilliant green on green color, not to mention a set of vestigial horns poking out of his forehead.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Despite his demonic nature, Harry strives always to do good by the world.
- Power Loss: Without his wand, Harry is limited to those mystical powers that are listed in his Phenomenal Eldritch Power Array. He also must have his hands free and his mouth unbound in order to use most, though not all, of his mystical abilities.
- Powerful Empath: Due to the torment he suffered at the hands of various people in his native dimension, Harry has a very hard time controlling those powers with the "Psychic" descriptor and they will occasionally trigger without his actively intending for them to do such a thing. This can often lead to embarrassing, awkward and sometimes even horrifying results that Harry may or may not be able to prevent.
- Secret Identity: The vigilante commonly known as "Passer the Sparrow" is in reality Harry James Potter. He fully admits that it isn't much of a disguise, but he still attempts to hide the identity all the same.
- Trigon's First Born: Harry's dark nature occasionally threatens to dominate his personality. When giving in to his darker emotions, or when overpowered by demonic influences, he becomes the infernal embodiment of Wrath, and it is up to his loved ones to bring him back from the edge of Perdition.

Complications
- Enemies: Wonder Woman has been actively performing the functions of a superhero in the world since at least Great War. She therefore has made many enemies over the years.
- Motivation: Patriotism: Wonder Woman has a significant burdan of responsibility to the people of Themyscira, as she is the one to act as their voice in the world that exists outside the borders of their island paradise.
- Power Suppression: While Diana is wearing her Bracers, her Strength is Disabled, while her Agility, Dexterity, Endurance & Fighting scores are all Impaired (already accounted for). This in effect reduces her Power Level from 14 to 13. On the other hand, without her Bracers she is incapable of deflecting bullets or unleashing a shockwave.
- Secret Identity: Wonder Woman is really Diana Prince, who in turn is really Princess Diana of Themyscira.

Complications
- Motivation: Doing Good: Now that she has been freed from her servitude to the Ring of Volthoom, Jessica is dedicated to fighting the forces of evil wherever and whenever she can, as well as saving as many lives as she can along the way.
- Nonlethal Protocols: Due to her time spent under the control of the Ring of Volthoom, the Guardians of the Universe have decided that it is in Jessica's best interest that her Ring's Nonlethal Protocols be activated on a permanent basis so that she doesn't fall victim to the lingering effects of the Ring of Volthoom, which would cause her to desire to either use her Green Lantern Ring as a proxy for Volthoom's own ring, or else to seek out the Crime Syndicate in order to obtain a new one. This in effect means her Ring is incapable of inflicting the Dying or Dead condition on an opponent unless it is as a result of a Critical Hit, and that she can't use the Ring to perform a Coup De Grâce.
- Power Loss: Oan Power Rings, like most other Power Rings, require regular recharging at an Oan Power Battery. They will issue a warning when their charge is about to run out so that their Ring Bearer knows to locate the nearest Oan Power Battery.
- Relationship: While Jessica is very interested in Harry on a romantic level, she has been partnered with her fellow Green Lantern, Simon Baz on a professional level.
- Weakness: Oan Power Rings are dependent upon the wearer's Willpower. If their Will score decreases, so to does their Force Manipulation Array.

Complications
- Enemy: The ring's "inhabitant", Volthoom, is no friend of Jessica's. Volthoom is constantly plotting her downfall, and aiming to achieve that downfall in the most gruesome manner imaginable.
- Obsession: As the Positive Matter Universe's Power Ring, Jessica is obsessed with bringing about Law and Order as it is best exemplified by the Crime Syndicate of AmeriKa and their various dastardly allies from the Anti-Matter Universe.
- Phobia: Jessica witnessed the murders of two of her friends being executed by some mobsters, and has been living in complete isolation due to her crippling fear of retribution from those mobsters over the past few years. It was because of this fear that the Ring of Volthoom picked her to be it's ring-bearer.
- Power Loss: When the Ring of Volthoom needs to be recharged, he/it will open a pocket dimension that releases an eldritch abomination which will incapacitate Power Ring (Jessica) and feed on her fear, which will in turn recharge the ring.
- Weakness: The Ring of Volthoom's Force Manipulation array is dependent on either the wearer's willpower or else upon their fear. If either of those diminishes, then the Ring's power ranks also diminish. Both can be tracked based upon the character's Will score as it relates to Power Ring effects.

Complications
- Mama Bear: Whether they are her plants, or simply human children that have stumbled into her sanctuary, you don't want to hurt Pamela's babies when she is nearby or you'll regret it!
- Motivation: Environmentalism: Pamela's mission in life is to protect the plants of the world. The only trouble is that she tends to get a bit carried away by her otherwise good intentions and lets her desire to protect the plants morph into a hatred of anything that could possibly be a threat to those plants, no matter how big or small.
- Plant-Like: While Pamela is immune to those diseases and poisons which would affect a human and most animals, the ones which affect a plant are very dangerous to her. Furthermore, she actually performs Photosynthesis, and as such requires plenty of sunlight and carbon dioxide in order to survive, though she doesn't need to breath the way a human would... which is great for certain activities!
- Relationship: Pamela doesn't just look like Lily Potter, née Evans, she is the local version thereof. Naturally this means she is being very naughty when she has romantic feelings towards Harry. Not that Harry particularly cares, he just told her that she'd have to follow the proper protocol for getting released from prison first, then very annoyingly handed her over to the Bat.
- Vanity: Pamela is obsessed with having power over others, particularly those who prove themselves capable of rejecting her advances. To date the only two men she was rejected by the first time she made an advance were Batman and Passer, the latter of whom confounded her because of the way in which he rejected her advance.

Complications
- Enemies: Rachel is the target of many supernatural forces who wish to use her for their own dark purposes. There is even a prophecy about how she is the key to allowing her father access to the world she just stumbled her way into.
- Monstrous: When she gives in to her darker emotions, Raven's skin becomes red and her eyes become sickly yellow in color. If she becomes truly furious, she even develops four sets of eyes. Under normal circumstances she looks much as she is pictured above, just younger due to her being just a mere 12 years old.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Raven truly wants to be accepted for who she is, rather than to be feared over who her father happens to be.
- Power Loss: Rachel needs her hands free and her mouth most definitely needs to be unbound in order to generate nearly all of her mystical effects. The exception is for those which have ONLY the "Psychic" descriptor attached to them.
- Relationship: Rachel isn't quite sure what to make of Harry, mostly cause she's never seen his face before but yet she can tell he is one of her brothers. That raises all kinds of warning bells for her, especially since she's is pretty sure all of her siblings were present when Trigon invaded Azarath prior to her fleeing to Earth.
- Trigon's Only Daughter: Rachel's dark nature occasionally threatens to dominate her personality. When giving in to her darker emotions or when overpowered by demonic influence, she becomes the infernal embodiment of Pride and it’s up to her closest friends to bring her back.

Build Comments: This is about where I would expect a typical career soldier to be, even after reaching the age bracket that New Earth's Steve happens to sit within. One other thing to note, despite having a staggeringly low Power Level compared to a typical superhero, Steve is NOT a minion. At worst he'd rank as a Sidekick, albeit an expensive one at 24 ranks in that particular advantage.

Complications
- Beware Korugarans' Bearing Gifts: Simon's Green Lantern Ring was actually at least partially programed by Thaal Sinestro. It kinda feels like Destiny of the Endless really does hate poor Simon, doesn't it?
- Beyond the Impossible: Simon tends to ignore the rules, both in his day to day life, as well as when it comes to determining what is or isn't actually possible for him to achieve with his Green Lantern Ring. It is probably safe to assume that if he sees Harry use his magic to do something, Simon will figure out how to replicate it with his Lantern Ring as a Power Stunt, and annoy the hell out of anyone nearby who has served as a Green Lantern for longer than Simon has.
- I Don't Wanna Grow Up!: Simon's personality shares a lot in common with Captain Marvel's. The main difference is that Simon actually IS twenty years old, rather than being a 14 year old kid when in his civilian persona.
- Motivation: Acceptance: All Simon really wants is to clear his name of the terrorism charge that nearly got him tortured, and likely would have ended with his death if not for the faulty Green Lantern Ring.
- Power Loss: Just like any other Oan Power Ring, Simon needs to keep his charged. Unlike most other Green Lanterns, because Simon truly was Born For This, he can use Extra Effort to charge the ring. However he can't use his Luck (Recovery) advantages or any Hero Points to recover from the Fatigue that doing this would cause him. Other than that, this complication works just like it would for anyone else.
- Relationship: Simon has been keeping himself at arms length from his sister due to the guilt he feels over accidentally placing her husband into a coma. This unfortunately has simply aroused her anger at him for ignoring her.
- Relationship: Baz and Jessica have are what one might consider Platonic Life Partners. They are the best of friends, but have absolutely no romantic interest in one another. If anything, Baz plans to give Harry a stellar Shovel Speech before too long, which is ironic since it was really Harry who bailed him out with the League.
- Wrong Place, Wrong Time: Simon has committed Grand Theft Auto on a number of occasions. In one particular instance, he stole a vehicle that, unknown to him at the time, happened to be carrying a whole lot of TNT in it's storage area. Due to a number of related circumstances, this got him deported and nearly tortured before a defective Green Lantern Ring found him and 'rescued' him. This led to the worst first day as a superhero anyone could ever hope to have.

Complications
- Megalomania: Rao is convinced he is superior to all other life forms, and nothing anyone could ever say would change his mind on that matter. He is also absolutely self-assured that his vision of how people should live is truly in their best interest, after all, all he wishes to do is remove all suffering from the universe!
- Mythic Weakness: Just like any other Kryptonian, Rao has a weakness to Kryptonite, the radioactive remains of the planet known as Krypton. Kryptonite comes in a number of forms, with Green-K being by far the most common. The Green rocks will sap his Racial descriptor powers, leaving him Impaired, Disabled and eventually Debilitated in regards to those powers. Long term exposure to Green-K imposes the Dying condition, this takes only a matter of minutes (less for a large enough quantity of the stuff)
- Obsession: Rao is obsessed with ensuring that every person on every world worships him, and him alone.
- Power Loss: Without the light of a yellow star, the only power effects which Rao possesses are the Red Light of Rao and Rao's Grace. Furthermore, in such situations, his physical attributes decrease at a rate of 1 pt per round until they reach no higher than a 2 in each category.
- Weakness: Rao is vulnerable to magic, just like anyone else. His Toughness is not Impervious against it.

Devilish Blood Brainstorm & Notes

Devilish Blood
Premise: What if Lily Evans hadn’t actually been as human as everyone believed her to be? This is a story wherein Lily Evans was in reality Lilith Sitri, and her son is to become the junior heir to the Sitri name.
Required Inclusions:
- Lily Potter must in reality be Lilith Sitri, a member of the 72 Pillars of the Underworld.
- James must have been a human and unaware of Lily’s nature as a Devil.
- When Harry is hit by the Killing Curse, it must kill the human half of his soul, leaving only the Devil half. This results in Harry becoming a Pure-Devil (don’t ask me how).
- Harry must be raised in the Underworld by the House of Sitri. How this is achieved, is up to the individual author.
- Harry must inherit the powers of the House of Sitri, which means he must have an affinity towards Water magic, though he might also inherit Serafall’s affinity towards Ice magic.
- Harry must attend Hogwarts during what would be his fourth year at the very least.
- Harry must later attend Kuoh Academy as a 3rd year student, or else be a teacher during what would be Rias and Sona’s third year at the academy.
- Harry must possess his own Peerage, one of the members of which must be a mythical creature of one sort or another (e.g. a Qilin, Hydra, Unicorn, Phoenix, Chimera, Dragon, etc…), or else a Hero Descendant, if not having one of each.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Wizarding Magic having diminished effects on Devils, Angels and Fallen.
- Lily surviving Voldemort’s attempt to kill her.
- Manipulative Dumbledore (if chosen, please make him manipulative but not evil).
- Bashing of certain members of the Weasley family and the Ministry for Magic.
- Harry should be paired with at least one of the following: Daphne Greengrass, Tracey Davis, Fleur Delacour, Susan Bones, Rias Gremory, Akeno Himejima, Ravel Phenex, and/or Raynare.

- Fame: For his efforts in defeating the Dark Lord known as Voldemort, Harry has received an Order of Merlin First Class. Furthermore, due to his mastery of the discipline known as Defense Against the Dark Arts, Harry has been granted the title of Grand Sorcerer in that topic, much like how his mentor, Albus Dumbledore, held that title for the discipline known as Charms.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry will often go out of his way in order to save the life of some hapless damsel in distress. This also often leads him and those who he calls his friends, into rather harrowing situations.
- Mythic Weakness: Devils become Impaired when exposed to holy symbols or prayers of or to the Biblical God, and suffer an additional degree of failure against Holy Damage. They also require special healing methods to recover from damage inflicted by Radiant attacks.
- Power Loss: Harry needs his mouth unbound and his hands free in orderto utilize his two magic arrays. Furthermore, in order to cast his Wizarding Magic, he needs to have his wand in hand.
- Relationship: Harry is the Lord of both the Noble & Most Ancient Houses of Potter and Black, as well as the sole remaining member of the Most Ancient House of Peverell. Furthermore, he is one of two possible heirs that could inherit the title of Lord/Lady Sitri, though he has granted his cousin, Sona Sitri, the honor of taking up that title should she desire it.

Complications
- Motivation: Doing Good: Daphne wishes to use her new abilities as a Devil to help make the world a better place. She doesn't see anything wrong with Devil's being the ones to do such a thing and truly believes that even Devils can be kind and decent people.
- Mythic Weakness: Devils become Impaired when exposed to holy symbols or prayers of or to the Biblical God, and suffer an additional degree of failure against Holy Damage. They also require special healing methods to recover from damage inflicted by Radiant attacks.
- Power Loss: Daphne needs her mouth unbound and her hands free in orderto utilize her two magic arrays. Furthermore, in order to cast her Wizarding Magic, she needs to have her wand in hand.
- Relationship: Daphne is the elder sister to Astoria Greengrass, and the Heiress Presumptive Primary to the House of Greengrass. She has also been a friend of Harry's for quite a long time now, though one who has kept her friendship with him a secret from most others.

Thunderstruck Brainstorm & Notes

Thunderstruck
Premise: “Sound of the drums beating in my heart, the thunder of guns tore me apart. You've been thunderstruck!” (Inspired by Dis Lexic’s “Legacy of a Hero” challenge).
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must be the descendant of a great Hero of Legend (or in this case a God).
- No Merlin or Founders please, it is overdone.
- Harry must obtain something which belonged to said hero (e.g. a weapon, shield, piece of armor or even a ship).
- At some point Harry must have an adventure that at least partially mimics one of those that the hero is said to have performed.
- Any pairings are allowed, except for those which would see Harry paired with another male.
- Harry’s moral alignment must be Good, though his ethical alignment can be Lawful, Neutral or Chaotic. This is of course as it would be defined by Dungeons and Dragons.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry meets his ancestor’s mentor at some point.
- There being other descendants of heroes and/or villains involved in this story.
- Harry either meets his ancestor, or he meets their soul.
- Harry inherits some form of superhuman power from his ancestor.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry actually being the son of the deity in question and thus a half-blood (as defined by PJO). That said, earning the right to be considered a deity on his own, is another matter.
- Harry the weak emo doormat.

Important Notes:
- While I will be using the term "Legacies" I will not be using "Half-Blood" as the correct term for those is "Demigod." Also, this is definitely a Marvel Comics crossover, not a PJO, with me only using Legacies because it is a convenient term for someone with more dilute divine blood than the children of a god and mortal would have.
