Build Comments: Chitauri do actually have sufficient organic components to qualify them for a Stamina score. Also, these things aren't nearly as hard to deal with as you'd suspect they'd be for having an Insubstantial power. Basically, the only character in the Avengers who is at a disadvantage against them, is the Hulk.

Chosen One Brainstorm & Notes

Chosen Ones
Premise: “We are the chosen ones, we sacrifice our blood, we kill for honor. We are the holy ones, our Armour's stained with blood, we killed the dark lord! In glory we return our destination’s end, we slayed the dark lord. No more living in fear, it’s time to raise our duke, we made it happen, we’re the chosen ones!!!”
Required Inclusions:
- All moral and ethical alignments are welcome.
- Harry must be in or approaching his 4th or 5th year at Hogwarts when this story starts.
- Harry must be a half-blooded member of the species known as the Gods of New Genesis, with all that this entails being incorporated into his character.
- Although he is not from Earth, his nature as a God of New Genesis means that he can pass as a human easily enough, and means that he has the ability to utilize magic.
- Harry must have gained the ability to speak Parseltongue somehow other than by being made into a Horcrux of the Dark Lord known as Voldemort.
- Lily being Harry’s actual biological mother and a pure-blooded God of New Genesis.
- One of the Potter family’s most trusted friends (this doesn’t have to be one of the Marauder’s) was aware of the truth, and informs Harry of the matter.
- Within the Potter vault is Lily’s old Mother Box, with Harry being able to inherit the thing.
- All romantic pairings are permissible, except for those involving another male character.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Crossover with the Fourth World franchise published by DC Comics.
- Harry should at the very least be on par with Mister Miracle, if not more powerful than this.
- Lily having been the missing daughter of Highfather and a Princess of New Genesis. This means that Big Barda and Mister Miracle are Harry’s aunt and uncle respectively.
- Lily being sent to Earth by Highfather both for a chance to live without fear of being stolen by Darkseid, and because Highfather having been influenced by the Source to send her there.
- Harry being involved in a plural relationship.
Optional Inclusions:
- Crossover with DC Comics as a whole.
- Others from New Genesis and Apokolips come to Earth, whether for good or ill.
- Tom or Dumbledore seeking an alliance with the Gods of either New Genesis or Apokolips.
- Harry forming an ‘order’ of his own that is independent from the one run by Dumbledore, and which is different from the group known as Dumbledore’s Army.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry ignoring his New God legacy.
- Harry the weak emo doormat.

Important Notes: Because Parseltongue was taking up too much space with little to no use for the abilities in it beyond narrative aspects, I decided to go back to making it just be a language that can be bought with the Language advantage.

Complications
- Destiny: Fate has decried that Harry is the one who ultimately has to defeat the Dark Lord calling himself "Voldemort" no matter what anyone else may say or attempt to do about it.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry will often go out of his way in order to save the life of some hapless damsel in distress. This also often leads him and those who he calls his friends, into rather harrowing situations.
- Power Loss: Harry needs his hands free and an unbound mouth in order to cast his spells (those effects with the 'magical' descriptor). The ones listed under his wand also require him to have his wand in hand in order to cast them.
- Relationship: Harry is the grandson of the Highfather of New Genesis, and the nephew of Highfather's son, a man known as Mister Miracle. He is the son of Lily and James Potter, and the godson of Sirius Black. He therefore stands to inherit not just the throne of New Genesis one day, but also the titles and holdings of both the Houses of Potter and of Black.

- Enemy: Black Adam and his relations are basically the nemesis of the entire Shazam Family, and so too is Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
- Is She, or Isn't She: While using her Lady Marvel Form, Mary is capable of performing any spell she sees a Witch or Wizard perform, provided she is able to acquire a magical focus that can handle the awesome power that she has at her fingertips. However when not in that form, she might as well constitute as being a squib.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Mary tries very hard to use her powers for the betterment of the world.
- Power Loss: Mary's ability to enter her Lady Shazam Form is reliant upon her ability to utter the word "SHAZAM!", therefore effects which inhibit her ability to properly say that word will render her incapable of using her Phenomenal Divine Powers.
- Relationships: Mary is the foster sister to Billy Batson (Shazam himself), along with the various other members of the Shazam Family.
- Weakness: Electricity based attacks that would have had a Rank 16 effect upon Mary, whether it be as damage or otherwise, will instead of their normal effect cause her to instantly switch between her two forms and be stuck in whichever form she wound up in for no less than one full combat round. These attacks otherwise have no effect upon her.

- Hatred: Daphne hates almost the entire House of Weasley due to their tendency to utter vitriolic statements about the members of Slytherin House without ever getting to know more than one or two members on more than a last name basis, and even then they only know Malfoy and Parkinson, who Daphne also hates for being idiotic sycophants of their 'allegedly reformed' fathers.
- Motivation: Recognition: Daphne wishes to be recognized as a premier duelist on the International Circuit, both with swords and with wands.
- Power Loss: Daphne needs her hands free and an unbound mouth in order to cast her spells (those effects with the 'magical' descriptor). The ones listed under her wand also require her to have her wand in hand in order to cast them.
- Reputation: Daphne would quite happily cut down the majority of her Housemates if she met them on a battlefield, and as such follows a very rigid set of rules for how she interacts with her housemates when not on a battlefield. This has earned her the nickname of "Slytherin's Ice Queen" due to how antisocial she comes across as being.
- Responsibility: Daphne is the elder sister to Astoria Greengrass. Unlike Astoria however, Daphne did not inherit the Blood Malediction, so it will ultimately be Daphne's responsibility to ensure the House of Greengrass continues to the next generation, this basically means she is doomed to seek out a Line Continuation contract, or find someone who would be willing to take her on as a Mistress, rather than an actual wife.

- Conditional Ownership: Susan's portkey is was given to her as a security precaution by the Ministry for Magic. This precaution was deemed necessary by virtue of the fact that if Susan were kidnapped it could compromise the entire Department of Magical Law Enforcement. She thus has certain rules and restrictions on how she is allowed to use the portkey and using it in ways contradicting these restrictions could see it being confiscated from her.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Susan is a Hufflepuff and not at all afraid to put in the hard work that is necessary to keep the world safe for everyone, with herself hopefully included in that number. That is naturally why there is an absurdly large number of Hufflepuff Alumni in the Auror Corps.
- Power Loss: Susan needs her hands free and an unbound mouth in order to cast her spells (those effects with the 'magical' descriptor). The ones listed under her wand also require her to have her wand in hand in order to cast them.
- Relationship: Susan is the niece of Amelia Bones, the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. She is also a childhood friend of the Greengrass sisters. Lastly, Susan has a rather embarrassing history with Harry Potter, due to the fact that she more or less let her Housemates dictate what her relationship with him would be for two out of the four years they were attending Hogwarts together, rather than opting to do the smart thing and introduce herself to her god-brother.
- Responsibility: Much like the case with Daphne, Susan is the only one who has a chance of carrying on the family line due to her aunt having been married to her career for so long now that she can't exactly have children anymore. This means that like Daphne, Susan must either obtain a Line Continuation contract or else opt to be the Mistress of someone who is married to another woman.

Build Comments: A couple things need to be said. First, I changed Susan's middle name from the one Fanon seems to want it to be simply because I don't see a mother doing something like allowing her daughter to be named 'Susan Amelia Bones' when her paternal aunt's name is 'Amelia Susan Bones.' Next up, Susan is benefiting from the nepotism that Wizarding society seems to have as one of it's founding principles. That explains why she can do more than half the stuff that she can do. Lastly if memory serves me right, you can actually get a tattoo at the age of 15 with parental consent.

Complications
- Enemy: Madame Dolores Jane Umbridge would give anything to have Amelia Bones be put into Azkaban or worrse, better yet, to have her be kissed by a Dementor, just because Amelia is too good at her job.
- Hatred: Amelia would tell you that the only good Dementor is one that has been confined to an Ecto-Containment System (yes, she knows what said contraption actually is). She absolutely hates the things and believes using them as prison guards constitutes a war crime, unfortunately she is having little to no success convincing those with the power to change the situation to abolish their use in Azkaban.
- Motivation: Patriotism: Amelia strongly believes in the ideals upon which her society was founded and fights every day to protect the common people from those who would try and twist those ideals into something sick and disgusting. This includes pretty much every Blood Purist in existence, but also unfortunately includes Albus Dumbledore due to his belief that even the worst criminals in the world are deserving of a second chance rather than a trip through the Veil of Death.
- Power Loss: Amelia needs her hands free in order to cast her spells (those effects with the 'magical' descriptor), although she has mastered the fine art of silent spell casting. Those spells listed under her wand also require her to have that wand in hand in order to cast them.
- Relationship: Amelia is the unwed paternal aunt of Susan Bones. She is also, through a deathbed confession on the part of Susan's mother, the only person aware of just what Harry Potter actually is. The only other person Lily might have told was her husband, but if she did, then he doesn't seem to have shared that information with his best mates. The Mister and Missus Evans had decided when they took Lily in that they wouldn't share that information with Petunia.
- Temper: When Amelia finds out just why it was that Harry was placed with Petunia and her husband, she will be very angry with a certain old man for his part in that affair. This is on account of the fact that Lily has no blood kinship with Petunia or her son, invalidating any blood-based defensive enchantments Petunia's home might have otherwise offered Harry.

The Age Thing: It takes THREE, count'em THREE years just to graduate from the Auror Academy as the lowest rank imaginable in the active duty forces. That means if Amelia had been in the same year at Hogwarts as the Marauder's, she would have only just graduated the Auror Academy in the same exact year that Voldemort attacked the Potter family. This would mean that she wouldn't have been the worst choice to take over after Bartemius Crouch Snr got demoted to a less important position that same year! This is why in this idea she is going to be a full 17 years older than the age where the Marauder's would have attended Hogwarts.

Now incidentally, Amelia's brother & Susan's father, was 12 years older than Susan's mother when they married. If you feel the need to complain, go look at the age gap between Teddy Lupin's parents and then realize this is normal in that world.

RAGMUZ Brainstorm & Notes

RAGMUZ
Premise: On a day when all hope seems lost, a young man will cry out for the help of any who might answer, and in response the heavens will open to reveal the divine might of RAGMUZ!
Required Inclusions:
- The story must start when Harry is on his summer vacation between his fourth and fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
- Voldemort must begin summoning demons to send against Harry, and whoever else might annoy him. Yes, this contradicts his canonical M.O., but that was the challenge.
- In desperation to save his family, who won’t be able to see the demons, Harry must call out for help from any who might be able to offer him their aid, no matter what they are.
- His magic responds to his plea of desperation and brings into his presence the Archangels known as Raphael, Adriel, Gabriel (female), Michael, Uriel and Zaphkiel.
- These Archangels must empower Harry in a manner similar to how the Wizard known as Shazam would empower Billy Batson. This means that calling out the word RAGMUZ transforms Harry into a superhuman titan.
- Harry must fight the demons that Voldemort summons, as well as rampaging magical beasts and monsters that Voldemort’s minions unleash. He must also deal with any supervillains that show up in England, especially those who would ordinarily take the likes of Superman to deal with, such as the Atomic Skull or the Parasite.
- Harry teaming up with Superman and/or Captain Marvel at some point.
- To avoid certain complications, Harry’s code name will be “The Archangel” rather than “RAGMUZ.” This is mostly to prevent him from accidentally depowering when introducing himself to someone or things like that.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry having been an Atheist prior to his desperate plea for assistance revealing that angels and deities really do exist, which causing him much confusion and consternation.
- Harry initially mistakenly believing that his powers come at the cost of his having to remain a virgin. This is disproven for him due to two things, first the fact that he seems to have a similar effect on females as a Veela has on men now that he has been empowered by the Archangels, and second by Gabriel making the requirement for her blessing abundantly clear.
- Every time Harry meets a new God or Goddess he tries to ask them for details about their role in the overarching cosmos, much to their bemusement.
Optional Inclusions:
- This fic being a crossover with not just DC Comics, but also with High School DxD.
- Harry being involved in a plural relationship.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being in a romantic relationship with any male characters.
- Harry becoming preachy.
- Harry going evil.

Rules Addendum: From this point forward, Wandless Magic comes in one of four distinct flavors, as follows:

- Flavor 1: Wandless magic is the product of a character using Extra Effort to perform a Power Stunt that enables them to cast a spell without their wand. Naturally, this will incur Fatigue unless the character expends a Hero Point to negate that Fatigue. This most closely resembles the use of Wandless Magic by Harry to find his dropped wand while being attacked by Dementors in the fifth book. It might also account for the use of Wandless Magic by Dumbledore in the third movie to catch a falling Harry with Arresto Momentum.
- Flavor 2: Wandless Magic isn't even magic at all, but rather a use of the Legerdemain component of the Sleight of Hand skill. In other words, it is the same sort of stuff we see the likes of David Copperfield perform. This explains what Dumbledore is doing when he does all sorts of minor tricks over the course of the first six movies.
- Flavor 3: Wandless Magic is something a character specifically put in the effort to learn how to perform. The only Magic School in J.K. Rowling's world setting that actively instructs it's students in this manner is Uagadou in Africa. However, almost every spellcaster from both Marvel and DC Comics learns their spellcasting, at least in part, using this methodology.
- Flavor 4: The ability to perform Wandless Magic is bestowed upon the character by some higher power, or else it is being executed by said higher power. This is what is being done in the RAGMUZ setting for a number of the characters.

Complications
- Angelic Form: Gabriel’s true form cannot manifest within her father's Creation as its brilliance would destroy it (In said form she is to be treated as a Power Level X character), and so she is forced to operate with the stats provided on this character sheet. While in this form, she can actually be killed.
- Angelic Nature: Gabriel is neither human nor mortal, and is sometimes torn between her angelic nature and her admiration and sympathy for humanity.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Gabriel holds the responsibility of conveying messages directly from the Presence into the hands of mortals. She is also the General of the Host of Man, which in an odd fluke of fate, puts her directly under Harry's command due to the decision to make him the Commander-in-Chief of said Host.
- Relationships: Gabriel's traditional relationships are with the Presence (oftentimes referred to simply as 'God' by mortals), and with her brothers Lucifer the Morningstar and Michael the Archon. She is also being incredibly unsubtle about her desire for a romantic relationship with Harry Potter (often known by the codename of "The Archangel").
- Responsibility: Much like the other members of the Host of Man, Gabriel is responsible for keeping an eye on a mortal. In Gabriel's case that mortal just so happens to be Harry Potter.
- Weakness: Gabriel does in fact tap into the Speed Force when she uses her incredible speed. This means that if she were to use Extra Effort in relation to her speed-based abilities, that she risks being drawn into the Speed Force and never being able to return from it. She is also definitively slower than The Flash.

Complications
- Corrupted Nature: Lilith was created by the Presence to be the perfect compliment to the first man. However she didn't wish to be the submissive partner in that relationship and rebelled. For that action she was banished from paradise and ultimately became a Demon. Even if she were to attempt to disguise herself it is possible for those who are attuned to magic to immediately recognize her for what she is. Oddly, that still doesn't inhibit her from seducing even the most powerful of magic users, as she once did with the Archmage now known as Shazam.
- Motivation: Thrills: Lilith lives solely to satisfy her own thirst for hedonistic delights.
- Relationship: Lilith's daughter Blaze likes to believe she is the most important Demon within Hell and thus has the right to issue orders to every other Demon, when in reality it is Lilith who allows her to hold that position. Lilith also has a son named Satanus. Furthermore, she was at one time involved in a romantic relationship with Lucifer Morningstar, though that particular Angel has long since disappeared.
- Rivalry: With the Archangel known by the name of Gabriel. This is mostly on account of their mutual romantic interest in one, Harry Potter.

- Accident: Traci is relentlessly upbeat and enthusiastic, in spite of her father's general disapproval. Unfortunately she sometimes allows herself to become overconfident, which can cause her to get into all sorts of sticky situations.
- Cover Identity: Traci lives two lives. To the world of superheroes and heroines she goes by her birth name of Traci Thirteen. However while living the life of an up and coming British Witch, she goes by the name of Tracey Davis. That name and identity were created for her by the actions of one of her mother's longtime friends, Cyrus Greengrass, when Traci expressed an interest in attending Hogwarts, it was deemed necessary to protect her from unwanted attention due to her father's career as a professional skeptic.
- Enemies: Eclipso is annoyed with Traci for the fact that she thwarted one of his masterful plans to possess an innocent child. She has also drawn the attention of the universe-shaping Architects. She also has an indepth knowledge of Demonology, which makes her a major danger to the likes of Lilith and various other Demons.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Traci follows in the footsteps of her parents, and uses her powers to help others when and where she can.
- Power Loss: Traci needs her hands free and her mouth unbound to perform any of her spells.
- Relationship: Traci's father is Dr. Terry Thirteen, and her mother was the late Meihei Lan. Traci's best friend in the entire world is Daphne Greengrass, and together the two of them keep a careful watch on Daphne's younger sister due to the girl having been the victim of a hereditary curse that Daphne managed to avoid.

Build Comments: When I was looking through DC Adventures Heroes and Villains Vol. 2 and stumbled on a character with the name of "Traci Thirteen" and noticed she was a Homo-Magi, I couldn't help but notice the similarity between her name and that of Tracey Davis. Then this came about. Incidentally, I think I'm the first person to do a variant of this young lady's stats, even if they aren't all that different from what's in Heroes & Villains.

It is worth noting that the Source Flaw on the Urban Magic array means that Traci can only cast those spells when in an urban district, such as Central London.

For those who are curious where this character came from, she debuted in Superman Vol. 2 #189.
