Complications
- Hypocrite: On one hand, Tim won't tolerate it when he learns that the Bat Munchkin known as Damien Wayne has already killed someone at his age. On the other hand, he is quick to forgive older members of the Bat Family of the same sin, especially when it is himself who they are trying to kill!
- Motivation: Responsibility: Tim is a member of the Bat Family, and looks up to Batman as a source of inspiration and also as a parental figure in his life.
- Relationship: Tim has the beginnings of a romantic interest in Cassandra "Cassie" Sandsmark, who herself shares similar feelings for him, but also has a crush on Superboy.
- Reputation: For being as smart, if not smarter, than Bruce Wayne himself. This isn't necessarily a good thing, because Tim is fully aware of just how smart he actually is, and unlike his mentor, he has a hard time dealing with people who can't keep up with him on an intellectual level.

Like A Book Brainstorm & Notes

Like A Book
Premise: Harry had always been an odd child. He had overly expressive eyes that were always filled with a knowing look to them, as if he could see right into your very soul. He also had a habit of taking the words right out of your mouth before you could voice them. He is what is what Wizards call a Natural Legilimens.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry is in reality a Mutant with the gift of Telepathy.
- He has the ability to read minds, project his thoughts into other people’s heads, and shield his mind from psychic-based potions, spells and abilities… bare minimum.
- His telepathic abilities allow Harry to see right through the lies of the Wizarding World, and makes it so he will refuse to play their games.
- At some point prior to Hogwarts, Harry will use his telepathy to force the Dursley’s into submission. What he actually does to them with his powers is up to the author.
- When entering the Wizarding World, Harry will initially keep his telepathic powers a secret, but he is allowed to tell people about them after a while.
- Harry’s telepathy is able to slip right past Wizarding Shields (Occlumency) without them even noticing that he has done so, unless he wants them to.
- Any moral and ethical alignment is permissible for this idea.
- Any romantic pairing, save those which involve another male, is also permissible.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Crossover with Marvel or DC Comics.
- Other psychic characters being involved in the story.
Optional Inclusions:
- If using Marvel Comics, then Harry being a Level 5 (Omega Level) Telepath.
- If using Marvel Comics, then Harry attracting the Phoenix Entity to him.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry losing his telepathic abilities.
- Harry gaining more powers than his telepathy, magic and if it is chosen, the Phoenix Force powers (which would include nigh omnipotence, anyways).
- Harry the weak emo doormat.

- Enemies: Harry has swiftly discovered that not only is the Dark Lord Voldemort his enemy, but countless other individuals within Wizarding Britain wish to either use him for their own ends, or to deliver him into the hands of said Dark Lord. Most concerning of all, is that at the current time, the Dark Lord is actually in the castle, though where specifically, Harry doesn't wish to triangulate for fear of revealing himself to be a psychic.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Harry wishes to use his powers to help others so as to act as an example of the good that psychics can do in hopes that he can gain acceptance for both himself, as well as other psychics.
- Power Loss: Magic: Unless he has his wand in his hand, and is able to perform the necessary gestures and speak the incantations, Harry is currently unable to perform his magic.
- Power Loss: Psionics: Because mental powers require considerable amounts of mental focus, those effects that disrupt mental focus, such as psychedelics and noisy settings may prevent Harry from using his psychic abilities.
- Secret Identity: Harry is attempting keeping the fact that he is a psychic a secret from pretty much the entire Wizarding World. This is largely because he has deduced that his powers would be frowned upon, if not being outright illegal.

- Enemies: The House of Malfoy and the House of Weasley do not get along AT ALL. This is largely because Dancia's grandfather, Abraxas Malfoy, sort of, kind of, drove the Weasley family into near total bankruptsy, and also because Arthur Weasley keeps trying to find cause to have Dancia's father arrested for owning things her father would never willingly own.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Dancia was inspired by her mother to live up to the Maxim of the House of Black, which is to say that the House of Black always puts their family first.
- Power Loss: Unless she has her wand in her hand, and is able to perform the necessary gestures and speak the incantations, Dancia is currently unable to perform her magic.
- Relationship: Dancia is the daughter of Lucius Malfoy and his wife, Narcissa Malfoy (née Black). She is therefore the first cousin of Nymphadora Tonks through her mother's sister, Andromeda Tonks, and the 2nd Cousin, Once Removed of Harry Potter through his grandmother, Dorea Euphemia Potter (née Black). Her relationship with the other living members of the House of Black is somewhat more strained due to the fact that they seem to have forgotten the difference between a maxim and a motto, and the fact most are in Azkaban.

Build Comments: Dancia, Crabbe & Goyle are basically modeled using the example presented in the Summoner Archetype under the Quickstart Character Generator in the Deluxe Hero Handbook. I used the Energy Controller Triplets Template as a basis for this. Dancia is at a lower Power Level than Harry because she gets two Heroic Minions.

Complications
- Frail: Due to the Blood Malediction that she suffers from, Daphne is easily exhausted. At any time when she makes an Acrobatics, Athletics or other physically demanding skill check, as well as for every 5 rounds of sustained combat (even when using ranged attacks), she must simultaneously make a DC 10 Fortitude check. If she fails this check then she becomes Fatigued. Every time she uses one of the aforementioned skills within the same scene, as well as for every 5 rounds of combat within a single scene, the DC for her next Fortitude check in that same scene will increase by 1 point. Standard rules regarding additional degrees of fatigue apply.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Daphne wishes to find someone to settle down and have a happy life together with, without that person constantly demanding she allow him to get her pregnant.
- Power Loss: Unless she has her wand in her hand, and is able to perform the necessary gestures and speak the incantations, Daphne is currently unable to perform her magic.

- Accident: Each time Illyana uses any aspect of her Teleportation Discs, she must make a DC 22 Will Check, as per the Check Required Flaw. Failure on that check will cause her and any of her passengers to become displaced in some manner. One degree of failure causes her to be displaced by 1d10 x 100 yards, two degrees of failure causes a displacement of 1d10 hours, three degrees causes a displacement of 1d10 days, and four degrees causes a displacement of 1d10 years.
- Holding Back: In order to become Darkchylde, Illyana must first find herself in a situation where over half of her allies have been incapacitated, or else where a rather significant number of innocent lives are at risk (up to and including her own). She can then spend a Hero Point, and if she succeeds on a DC 20 Will Check with a +1 Circumstance Modifier, she will be allowed to enter her Darkchylde form and remain in that form for the remainder of the encounter.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Illyana is the Sorceress Supreme of Limbo (Otherplace), and as such is responsible for protecting that dimension from extradimensional threats. Though strictly speaking, Limbo (Otherplace) is the sort of place where extradimensional threats originate from, rather than somewhere that needs to be protected from such things, so Illyana has mostly repurposed her role to protecting the Earth Dimension.
- Plot Device: Illyana has the potential to manipulate time on a much greater scale than her Stepping Discs currently enable her to do. This potential is currently unquantified and should be considered the territory of both Power Stunts and GM Fiat.
- Prejudice: Despite the fact that Illyana is legitimately a thirteen year old girl, most people she knows still treat her like the six year old girl she was prior to the 7 years she spent in Limbo (Otherplace) that seem to have passed in the blink of an eye on the Earth Dimension.
- Quirk: Illyana absolutely adores the Boy Who Lived novels written by Yodel Rig Rackloth!
- Relationship: Illyana is the precocious younger sister of Piotr Rasputin, otherwise known as Colossus.

- Berserk: When Darkchylde manifests, Illyana loses all sense of reason and enters a feral state. On the bright side, this increases her combat efficiency and even gives her vastly more powerful magic. Unfortunately, she is enraged while in this state, much like a character under the effects of the Temper complication, and will lash out violently at anything which provokes her. Her primary target in these situations is always going to be whoever or whatever it is that caused her to become Darkchylde. She will however, guard those she considers her lovers/mates with vicious savagery rather than attacking them.

Complications
- Blessed With Suck: While the powers Laurie has would have been awesome if she were a guy, as is shown with her father, since she is a girl all it amounts to is her having to question whether any guy who expresses romantic interest in her is actually interested in her for her, or because of the pheromones.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Laurie wants nothing more than to be accepted for who she is, rather than for what she can make people feel.
- Omega Level Accidents: While normally only four ranks of her pheromones are outside of her ability to control, if Laurie experiences particularly strong emotions, then all nine ranks of her pheromones will be rendered uncontrollable. Furthermore, the primary pheromone power works by causing people to experience the exact same emotions that Laurie herself is experiencing, which can lead to disastrous situations depending on what she happens to be feeling at any given moment.
- Plot Disaster: Just like Squirrel Girl, Laurie can kick anyone's arse so long as it happens off screen. Unlike Squirrel Girl, at least in the main universe, Laurie lacks any form of Plot Armor.
- Power Loss: Due to her pheromones being transmitted via air, Laurie's abilities can be negated if the pheromones are incapable of reaching her intended targets.

X Marks the Spot
Premise: When a mysterious string of thefts plagues Jump City, the last thing anyone could have expected, and the one thing the Teen Titans certainly never wanted, was for one of those thefts to be of Robin’s Xenothium Powered crime fighting suit. Enter the new Red X… but who is it that they are faced with?
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter’s primary occupation must be that of a thief, though usually a benevolent one.
- For whatever reason, Harry decides to steal Robin’s Red X outfit while on summer break from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry.
- As is probably guessed from the last requirement, Harry must become the second, as of yet unidentified, Red X.
- Harry must eventually end up paired with either Raven, Starfire, Blackfire, Terra or Jinx.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry being a Metamorphmagus who has both a male and a female persona, choosing to take on the female persona in civilian life and the male persona while dressed as Red X.
- Red X/Harry eventually joining the Teen Titans, for whatever reason.

Complications
- Honor: Despite his self-serving nature, Red X is not someone who lacks honor. When the time comes for him to use his powers to avert certain disaster, he will usually rise to the occasion.
- Motivation: Thrills: Red X performs heroics only when there is some thrill to be had from the act, beyond that though, he largely performs acts that could be considered villainous due to the fact that his motivations seem to be almost entirely selfish.
- Quirk: Red X will blatantly flirt with even his worst enemy so long as they are an attractive female.
- Rivalry: With Robin the Boy Wonder, though they both seem to at least respect one another enough not to try and kill the other participant in the rivalry.
- Temper (Of a Sort): Red X will gladly detonate the Xenothium in his Utility Belt while he is wearing said belt, provided he has no alternative method by which to take out whatever enemy happens to be threatening his life.

Complications
- Enemy: Iris is simply the female form of a Metamorphmagus more commonly known as Harry James Potter. As such, she has inherited her male form's primary enemy, the Dark Lord known as Voldemort, along with all of his followers, the Death Eaters.
- Honor: Iris will not break her word once she has given it to someone, and she will always save a damsel in distress if she learns that such an occurrence has cropped up.
- Motivation: Responsibility: During Iris' time at Hogwarts, she heard a great many bits of inspirational wisdom from Albus Dumbledore, and while the man has many faults the one thing he did say that Iris tries to keeps in mind was: "there will be a time when we must choose between what is easy and what is right."
- Relationship: Iris is the daughter (son?) of Lily and James Potter, as well as the godchild of Sirius Black, all three of whom have departed for their Next Great Adventures. She is furthermore the Head of both the House of Potter and of the House of Black due to her relationship to the aforementioned three individuals.
- Temper: Iris is a tempestuous young lady, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when she is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.

Complications
- Accident: Raven tends to need to keep very tight control over her emotions, lest it lead to the awakening of certain sleeping horrors, or just generally cause her powers to go completely out of her ability to control.
- Enemies: Pretty much every major villain with even a bare minimum of mystical knowledge would love to get their hands on Raven due to her connection to the Archdemon known as Trigon.
- I Wish I May, I Wish I Might: Much like her father, Raven possesses the ability to grant one person a single perfected wish. The idea behind this is that the person she grants this wish to is to be her life mate. This is a GM Fiat tier ability and is not ever something that will appear on her stat block beyond the way it has been added here.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Raven is not originally from Earth, and uses her mystical powers in order to help people so that she might earn a place to call her own on this new world.
- Power Loss: Raven needs to be able to speak the words "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos" in order to use all of her Soul Self: Array I effects. She also generally needs to be able to perform the requisite hand gestures to use those same effects.

- Accident: Jinx doesn't just cause people bad luck when she is attacking them, she tends to cause them bad luck just by being in proximity to them, even when she doesn't otherwise intend for that to be occurring.

Complications
- Disability: Robin has really awful eyesight and actually has a prescription on his mask that corrects his vision. This is actually why you rarely if ever see him without the mask or some form of eyeglasses. Without such corrective lenses, Robin is Disabled for purposes of Vision-based Perception checks.
- Enemy: Robin's most dangerous enemy is Slade Joseph Wilson (aka Deathstroke the Terminator). This man sees himself as the new Batman in Robin's life, and doesn't seem interested in taking 'no' for an answer.
- Motivation: Justice: Robin is motivated by a strong, almost obsessive, drive to see justice carried out. He wants to ensure that criminals are off the streets and locked away, but knows there are certain lines that should never be crossed, even if he has come very close to having done so on a number of occasions.

Complications
- Flashbacks: Cyborg is frequently reduced to a junk pile and is therefore just as frequently rebuilt from the ground up. Each and every-time that this occurs leaves an unforgettable impression upon his psyche that he often has to relieve when exposed to certain sensations.
- Insecurity: Cyborg often comes across as the most outgoing member of the Teen Titans, but he is also the most insecure when it comes to his interpersonal relationships. He is never able to fully trust whether people see him as a man or a machine, and this has had disastrous repercussions for his love life.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Victor wants to be accepted as a real person, not a machine. His whole reason for joining the Titans was because Starfire and Raven both saw him as a person rather than a machine, and Beast Boy quickly came to accept him as a person too.
- Relationship: When she meets him face to unmasked face, Iris will quickly admit she could see Cyborg as a potential love interest, if she were even remotely interested in boys as romantic partners. This will result in the two quickly forming a proper fraternal relationship rather than a romantic one, which is something they both quickly realized they were in desperate need of.
- Weakness: While his human side is part of Cyborg's strength, it is also the part of him that is his most vulnerable. Attacks against his humanity, both physically and mentally, are the most dangerous for Cyborg to encounter. This incidentally, is what led to Cyborg and Fixit becoming acquainted with one another.

- Heart Is an Awesome Power: Though he isn't quite aware of this fact just yet, Beast Boy is utterly essential to the mental health of the other Teen Titans. He is what keeps them from all going into a dark emo funk... All of them that is, save for Starfire, as she's just as optimistic and upbeat as Beast Boy is.
- Motivation: Thrills: More than anyone else within the Teen Titans, Beast Boy is performing heroic acts because of the adrenaline rush he gets while doing the job.
- Prejudice: Beast Boy's entire body is covered in a fine coat of green fur. Even when he transforms he remains entirely green, no matter what type of external surface his body takes on. In other words, it is incredibly difficult, if not outright impossible, for Beast Boy to blend in with mundane society. This tends to lead to situations that are frightfully similar to what one would expect from the Marvel Comics franchise in relation to people such as Nightcrawler and Beast.
- Secret Keeper: Beast Boy sort of figured out who Red X was by turning into a blood hound while trying to track Red X and then turning into the same animal while Iris Evans was in the same room as him. Iris somehow noticed what he had done, and immediately caused it so only he would hear her words, at which point she issued a very clear ultimatum that made him lose any interest in her as a romantic partner. From that moment forward, as far as Beast Boy was concerned, Red X's true identity is some random person named "Jason Todd."

Complications
- Born On a Distant Star: Starfire isn't stupid by any stretch of the definition of that word. However she does suffer from a very hefty dose of culture shock, as she doesn't understand most, if not all, of the social cues and behavioral norms that exist on Earth due to her having never encountered them before. This can lead to rather embarrassing, or even horrific, situations where she says or does the wrong thing for a particular situation.
- G'luthnog: Starfire tends to use Tamaranean words in place of English words she either doesn't understand or else where there is no equivalent English word for what it is she is trying to express. This can sometimes cause her sentences to sound very, very weird to a human's ears since Tamaranean is a very odd sounding language. It also means that Starfire has been forbidden from ever meeting Luna Lovegood by Iris.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Starfire is a heroine because it she simply wants to do good things for the world she has found herself in.
- Power Loss: Starfire's powers are largely dependent upon how happy she feels. This is highly dependent on role playing, so the best advice is that when she is depressed to the point of power loss, she loses access to her U.V. Energy Manipulation and Tamaranean Movement arrays, and her Strength, Stamina and Body Resistance are Disabled. On the other hand, if she is feeling happy enough, her Power Level can shoot so far through the roof that it might as well add another X to the list of X's used in this story.
- Relationship: Starfire is tentatively dating Robin.
- Reputation: It isn't really Starfire who has the reputation herself, but Tamaraneans at large. Among Earth's magical community, or at least those who are both aware of Tamaraneans and also of Azkaban Prison, she and her people have a reputation as more attractive and less deadly counterparts to Dementors.
- Rivalry: Starfire and her sister are close to being enemies, but more properly fall into the classification of being rivals. This is because they do actually care for each other, there is just a whole lot of political crap getting in the way of them ever being friends to each other.
- Temper: Oddly, the one negative emotion that doesn't actually weaken Starfire's powers, is raw unbridled rage. Which naturally leads to her having a very short fuse.
- Weakness: Like many Tamaraneans, Starfire is allergic to Metallic Chromium. It tends to give her flu-like symptoms, though unlike the flu, if she sneezes while so afflicted she will unleash a massively destructive star bolt from both her nose and mouth.
