Aetoû Gêras Brainstorm & Notes

Aetoû Gêras, Korydoû Neótēs
Premise: Sometimes the worst curse someone can experience, can turn out to be their greatest blessing in disguise. That certainly seems to be the case for a certain red haired woman with stunning green eyes.
Required Inclusions:
- Circe must have been trapped in the form of Lily J. Potter, née Evans. Why she was so trapped is up to the author to decide, however she can’t initially know she is Circe.
- Lily’s “death” at the hands of Voldemort must, instead of killing her, reawaken her memories as Circe. Due to the fact she truly believed she would die though, the protection still works.
- Circe/Lily must be knocked out and appear dead for long enough that Harry is taken and placed with the Dursley family. How long she is unconscious is up to the author.
- After waking up, Circe/Lily must track down her son, along with the letter Dumbledore had left for Petunia, and take him into her care, with or without Petunia’s blessing.
- Circe/Lily must take Harry to her island and raise him there, teaching him both her own magic as well as that of the Wizarding World.
- Whether Circe/Lily decides to let him attend Hogwarts or not, Harry must eventually return to Wizarding Britain in order to deal with the threat of Voldemort.
- Harry must at the very least be paired with a DC Comics Character.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry becoming a hero, despite his mother’s status as a villain in her Circe persona.
- Harry being paired with Wonder Girl, Donna Troy or one of the other Amazons, which is especially hilarious considering his mother’s attitude towards them.
- Harry joining the Teen Titans or Young Justice.
Optional Inclusions:
- Circe’s time as Lily and her newfound appreciation/horror regarding prophecies, leading her to consider alternative interpretations regarding Hecate’s prophecy.
- Circe/Lily winding up paired with Wonder Woman due to the unresolved sexual tension the two have going on, with the both of them sharing Superman as their male counterpart.
Extremely Optional:
- Apolline, Narcissa or Bellatrix winding up paired with Circe (author’s choice which if used).
- Gabrielle, Astoria, or Ginny winding up paired with Harry (author’s choice which if used).
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being paired with another male.

Builder's Notes: I've decided to no longer explicitly list "Magic Awareness" and "Comprehend Spirits" on each and every spellcaster's stat block. What I'm going to do instead is create a "Magical Core" advantage and use that.

- Curse Sworn: Lily is bound by a prophecy that states "Upon the death of witch and the birth of witch, Hecate, by name and choice, shall repossess her soul." While it wasn't necessarily a direct translation of the prophecy, Lily as Circe had identified Diana of Themyscira as the second witch in that prophecy, and was guilty of some rather reprehensible things because of her belief.
- Motivation: Love of Family: Lily cares very deeply for her son, Harry Potter, and would do anything for him, even giving up her mad quest to overturn Hecate's prophecy.
- Power Loss: Lily’s Divine Magic has no effect on, and is nullified by, the herb moly.

- Monstrous: Cirelia is a Lamian type Bestiamorph, and therefore has the upper body of a beautiful young woman, but the lower body of a snake. She's also not the most intelligent individual, though certainly more intelligent than most other Bestiamorphs on account of being the daughter of a bestiamorph father and a human mother.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Cirelia has been tasked by Lily with the job of assisting Harry in the event that he ever needs to do something particularly dangerous and lacks anyone else he can call upon for aid.
- Relationship: Cirelia sees Harry as a prospective mate, though she is willing to wait for him to catch up to her in the physical development department.

Harry's Angels Brainstorm & Notes

Harry’s Angels
Premise: “Hello, Angels,” … “Hello, Harry.”
Required Inclusions:
- During the summer before Goblet of Fire, Harry must meet either Kara In-Ze or Barbara Gordon, who will be his primary pairing in this fic.
- The story must remain relatively canonical until the year that the Triwizard Tournament takes place within, after that changes are fair game.
- Harry must not be immediately aware of his new girlfriend’s secret identity.
- Harry’s girlfriend, while she can know about magic, must not be immediately aware that Harry is capable of performing magic.
- The hero associated with Harry’s girlfriend must appear once within the story.
- Harry’s girlfriend must see, and be concerned about, all of the scars from Harry’s adventures and time at the Dursley’s from before he found out he was a Wizard.
- Harry and his girlfriend must remain in contact while he attends Hogwarts.
Preferred Inclusions:
- The story involving the Justice League.
- Harry, due to his being the head of multiple houses, needing to be married to more than one girl, resulting in him being paired with Kara, Barbara and possibly one other girl.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry obtaining powers that put him on the same level as a Kryptonian or Amazon.
Forbidden Things:
- Barbara staying paralyzed if that actually happens.
- Harry being romantically paired with a guy.
- Harry the Emo Doormat.

New Rule Decision: From now on characters will make resistance checks normally but, if the effect rank is less than their Impervious rank, I will reduce any degree of failure by one. Zero degrees of failure will count as one degree of success. This is a modification to the rules regarding Impervious Toughness which appeared on page 12 of the compiled Power Profiles in the Armor Powers section. It appeared alongside of a whole bunch of other alternative rules regarding Impervious Toughness, and this is the one I think best represents how things seem to work in the various television, movie and video game versions of the various comic book settings I usually play in.

What I mean by this, is in these shows and games, rarely will you see Superman just standing there motionless while a villain punches him in the stomach or various other locations. Even if it is the Joker, who has average human level strength, you will see Superman being affected by the punches being thrown at him, even if just barely. Superman for all his invulnerability is not an inanimate object.

Complications
- Curse Sworn: Harry is bound by a prophecy that will force him to fight the Dark Lord calling himself Voldemort to the death, or else take the risk of never being allowed to have a happy and pleasant life.
- Fame: For having survived a curse that is otherwise impossible to survive when he was merely a year old, and for the fact that on the same night in which he survived that curse, the Dark Lord calling himself Voldemort seemingly vanished from off the face of the Earth and was promptly pronounced 'dead' by the idiots in charge of the magical government of Great Britain.
- Honor: Harry will not break his word once he has given it to someone, and he will always save a damsel in distress if he learns that such an occurrence has cropped up.
- Marked: Harry has countless scars on his body, both from his adventures at Hogwarts, and from his mistreatment at the hands of Marge Dursley and her dogs, as well as from games of Harry Hunting. Oddly enough, almost none of these scars were inflicted by Vernon or Petunia Dursley. He also has a very obvious scar on his forehead that makes it hard to hide who he is.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry tries very hard to do the right thing by the largest number of people in all situations save for his romantic life, at which point he tends to ignore everyone else in order to make his romantic partners safe and happy.
- Relationships: Over the course of the past summer, Harry has begun dating a girl that introduced herself to him as Karen Kent. He is also the son of Lily and James Potter, and the godson of Sirius Black, which makes him the Head of House's Potter & Peverell, as well as the Heir Presumptive Primary to the House of Black.
- Temper: Harry is a tempestuous man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.

Build Comments: The way I built Harry here, places his physical strength and stamina at what the Mutants and Masterminds Benchmarks table classifies as "One of the Best in the World." This means he is one rank below the "Peak of Human Achievement" in those two categories, and therefore while he is truly extraordinary for a human, he is still capable of considering himself entirely human when compared to someone like Superman. Incidentally, if using the Benchmarks table as a guide, Captain America should probably have a Strength and Stamina score of 8, one rank above the "Peak of Human Achievement."

- Motivation: Family is Everything: Babs is dedicated to her father, Commissioner Jim Gordon, and also to her extended family in the super-hero community, namely the Batman family and the Birds of Prey.
- Relationship: Babs is best friends with Kara In-Ze, though she is currently unaware of the fact that Kara has a crush on her.
- Rivalry: With Poison Ivy and Harley Quin, but it only ever becomes a potentially lethal for Babs, if Harley's psychotic yandere boyfriend happens to be in the room at the same time she is, because the Joker does not like Babs at all, whatsoever!

- Frail: Due to the Blood Malediction that she suffers from, Astoria is easily exhausted. At any time when she makes an Acrobatics, Athletics or other physically demanding skill check, as well as for every 5 rounds of sustained combat (even when using ranged attacks), she must simultaneously make a DC 10 Fortitude check. If she fails this check then she becomes Fatigued. Every time she uses one of the aforementioned skills within the same scene, as well as for every 5 rounds of combat within a single scene, the DC for her next Fortitude check in that same scene will increase by 1 point. Standard rules regarding additional degrees of fatigue apply.
- Motivation: Greed: Astoria has been doing a whole lot of research into who holds the most power within Wizarding Politics, and while she is currently unaware of Harry's potential to become the Head of the House of Black, she has discovered that the House of Potter owns the patent on every single potion that is taught at Hogwarts. That fact alone is sufficient to make her very interested in being the next Lady Potter. She is planning to make her intent obvious as soon as she locates him on the Hogwarts Express, and she has her sister's approval, which means she will likely get her father's approval too.
- Relationships: Astoria is the younger sister to Daphne Greengrass, and therefore the youngest child of Elizabeth and Cyrus Greengrass. This means that Astoria is the Heiress Presumptive Secondary to the House of Greengrass, and unlikely to inherit the position of Head of House from her father.
- Reputation: Astoria has a reputation for bashing people's skulls in with her book bag while it is holding at least seven books, each with the approximately the same mass as a Facing Brick. In her defense, she only does this to people who employ incredibly neanderthal courtship behavior, or who have such bad table manners as to spray what they are eating into what she was planning on consuming during a meal in the Great Hall of Hogwarts.

The Runaway Brainstorm & Notes

The Runaway
Premise: “My name is Harry, and I’m apparently the savior of the magical world, and seemingly so much more than that. After all the crap I’ve had to deal with, both at home and at school, well I’ve gone and runaway!”
Required Inclusions:
- All moral and ethical alignments are welcome.
- Powerful or stronger Harry.
- When the story starts is up to the author.
- As it says, Harry must discover that he can fly without the assistance of a broomstick.
- How Harry is able to fly without a broomstick is up to the author, but it can’t be done using the assistance of wings, his own magic or even a rocket (i.e. think more along the lines of Superman or Peter Pan).
- When they first see him, someone should use the above listed line.
- Obviously, there must be mixed reactions to Harry’s newfound ability, but despite that, Harry does not stop using it.
- At least once, Harry must take off from a high vantage point that results in another character commenting on how much they hate when he does that.
- All romantic pairings are welcome, except for those involving another male.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Crossover with either DC or Marvel Comics.
- Super-powerful or OP!Harry.
- Creature or Inhuman!Harry.
- Master of Death!Harry.
- As well as flight, Harry discovers other powers.
- Harry gaining the ability to talk to birds, as well as having them and other avian creatures consider him to be one of their own.
- Using his flight to aid him, Harry can also dive underground or underwater.
- At least once, Harry flies up into outer space.
- Harry being able to achieve supersonic flight speeds that make him near invisible to the naked eye.
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry having a weakness that takes away his ability to fly.
- Harry teaching others how to fly without the assistance of a broom.
- Others exist who can fly the way Harry does, completely naturally.
- Harry being involved in a plural relationship.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry the weak emo doormat.

- Anyone succeeding in permanently grounding Harry.

Complications
- Curse Sworn: Harry is bound by a prophecy that will force him to fight the Dark Lord calling himself Voldemort to the death, or else take the risk of never being allowed to have a happy and pleasant life.
- Fame: For having survived a curse that is otherwise impossible to survive when he was merely a year old, and for the fact that on the same night in which he survived that curse, the Dark Lord calling himself Voldemort seemingly vanished from off the face of the Earth and was promptly pronounced 'dead' by the idiots in charge of the magical government of Great Britain.
- Honor: Harry will not break his word once he has given it to someone, and he will always save a damsel in distress if he learns that such an occurrence has cropped up.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Harry just wants to be accepted for who he is, rather than for what others believe he should be. He doesn't want to be "The Boy Who Lived", rather he just wants to be "Harry."
- Mythic Weakness: Harry is connected to Voldemort by means of an accidental Horcrux that exists in the scar on his forehead. This unfortunately means that he can be influenced by Voldemort. How much influence Voldemort can level against him is largely unknown, due to the fact that he is the first living Horcrux in recorded history.
- Power Loss: Harry's Majesdanian powers can be completely suppressed by coming into contact with certain types of metal.
- The Trace: While Harry has a wand and can ostensibly perform magic with it, he tends to refrain from doing so since he is under the age of 17, and therefore will tend to attract unwanted attention when using his wand for magical effects. If for some reason he does decide to perform magic, consider the spells to be a Power Stunt of his Laser Beam effect with a maximum effect Rank of 10 for purposes of determining how many points they can cost. In any case, his magic benefits from the 2 ranks of Ranged Combat: Magic.
- Weakness: Harry's Majesdanian powers become Impaired (-2 penalty) at dusk and Disabled (-5 penalty) in the dead of night. They can furthermore become Debilitated (turn off) if he uses them excessively during nighttime hours. All conditions are removed as soon as daylight breaks.

Complications
- Fatal Attractor: Nico has had particularly bad luck in the dating department, which is why she is more than a little obsessive when it comes to finding the other Hallows for Harry.
- Motivation: Responsibility: Nico is basically the Team Mom of the Runaways, whether or not she is actively the leader thereof. She is who manages their accounting and hands out allowances to the other members, as well as makes sure that the younger members of the group are in bed at a reasonable time.
- Obsession: With studying Harry's cloak, and finding the other Hallows for him.
- Power Loss: Nico's blood must be shed in order to summon the staff, and the staff will disappear after only a few uses. Furthermore, she must be able to speak in order to utilize the staff's magic.
- Quirk: Nico has a tendency to constantly ask Harry to let her borrow his wand so she can do some magic without the Staff's limitation. She seems to be completely ignorant of both the innuendo she is uttering and also the fact that he can't really let her use his wand for the purpose she wishes without triggering the trace and blowing the cover of all of the Runaways.
- Weakness: Through her use of the Staff of One, Nico can do anything which she can imagine short of raising the dead and affecting TRUE deities, such as the Olympians. She can however, affect Asgardians with the staff.
