Potty and Loony Brainstorm & Notes

Potty and Loony
Premise: Sometimes it is the person who you least expect, who turns out to be the oddest person of them all!
Required Inclusions:
- All moral and ethical alignments are accepted, although dark and evil alignments are to be heavily frowned upon.
- Harry must be more eccentric than any other character, save for Luna Lovegood.
- How and why Harry decides to portray himself in a more eccentric manner than most is up to the author, but the story must depict his reasons.
- Like Luna, Harry creates creatures, aliases or incomprehensible responses to certain situations.
- OBVIOUSLY, Luna must be Harry’s friend and see him as a kindred spirit, even if they don’t end up paired with one another.
- If anyone calls Harry “Potty” or any other insulting term, they risk causing the dangerous aspects of his otherwise jovial insanity coming to forefront. How many times this happens before it sticks, is up to the author.
- As part of his “Potty” nature, Harry openly translates Parseltongue for others, even if in jest.
- All romantic pairings are welcome, save for those which pair Harry with another male.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Crossover with the Cthulhu Mythos, or more likely, with Nyaruko-san.
- Powerful, Super or OP!Harry.
- As is the case with Luna in other fanfictions (and this one too), any creatures Harry references are in fact very real, even if no one believes him.
- Harry and Luna being a psychic, seer or oracle.
- In a bid to try and lesson his eccentricities, someone (probably Dumbledore), sends Harry to a “Mind” Healer… to say this doesn’t end well is an understatement.
- Harry adopting some of the more outlandish outfits that The Doctor has been known to wear.
- Harry’s eccentricities and mannerisms mimic those of characters from other fandoms. Options for this include such notorious individuals as The Doctor, Sherlock, and Tony Stark.
- Harry, Luna and their various friends & allies, adopt a code language to conceal what they are really saying from others.
- Harry being involved in a plural relationship (i.e. he gets himself a harem).
Optional Inclusions:
- Harry’s harem actually being the priestesses of whichever Cthulhu Mythos Deity he is.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being in any way, NORMAL.
- Luna being Harry’s enemy for any reason whatsoever.

Complications
- Curse Sworn: Whether he likes it or not, there really is a prophecy which states Harry is the only one who can defeat the Dark Lord Voldemort. Which raises the question of just who or what the Dark Lord Voldemort might actually be, cause there is no way that a human Dark Lord would require divine intervention like this.
- Hatred: Harry absolutely despises people who insult him, particularly if they do so in a particularly unimaginative manner and where he can overhear them doing so. In such instances, he has been known to get decidedly vicious in how he "Revenge Pranks" them.
- Motivation: Thrills: Almost everything that Harry does these days is to help him alleviate the boredom of being a deity's avatar living among school children.
- One of Us: Due to the nature of Nyarlathotep's existence, it is technically possible for Harry to run into another incarnation of the God with Over One Thousand Faces. In such instances it isn't even guaranteed that the two avatars are going to get along with one another, as Nyarlathotep is very bipolar. In fact, given who Luna is, it's almost certain any of Nyarlathotep's avatars Harry runs into are going to be enemies to the boy... the one possible exception being Nyaruko.
- Quirk: Harry has a particularly odd fashion sense that includes things such as priestly vestments, the outfits worn by the Doctor in the classic Doctor Who serials, and even occasionally a Star Trek Science Officers uniform from the Original Series, among other such things. He does however, place an illusion over his clothes to prevent the Professors from suspecting anything is amiss.
- The Deathly Hallows: Now that he is awake, Harry is fully aware of what the Potter family's Invisibility Cloak really is, and knows it was created by the Elder God known as Thanatos. This makes him all the more giddy to locate the other two Hallows, since they act as a sort of "Reverse Elder Sign" when they are gathered under one Master.

Space CQC vs. Domain Spells: Space CQC is a fighting style that is defined as "Whatever the martial artist wants it to do, it does", which means that I can pick and choose effects that fit into the theme of a particular characters domain spells and simply call it "Space CQC" and it will be "Space CQC" as far as the technical definition of the phrase is concerned. In other words, Space CQC is simply a re-flavored version of the D&D Domain Spells system.

The Berserker Legacy Brainstorm & Notes

The Berserker Legacy
Premise: When Harry Potter picked up the oddly designed staff in the Potter Ancestral Vault, he never expected for it to have the sort of effects upon his life that it wound up having, that is for sure!
Required Inclusions:
- Harry must have and utilize one of the Berserker Staves that first appeared in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 8. He gains all the perks and none of the drawbacks.
- In addition to the typical Asgardian abilities, the Staff allows Harry to both perform Wandless Magic and use it as a Magical Focus for the more complicated spell effects.
- The story must take place before the first Avengers Movie, and prior to that movie Harry can only interact with those Marvel characters who don’t appear in the Core Avengers Line Up.
- Harry’s primary antagonist must be Mordred Pendragon, and he has access to the Darkhold, which acts as to directly feed dark magic into his veins.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry should be treated how one would normally treat any of the other Avengers. In other words, he has his own personal villains, and isn’t always around to help S.H.I.E.L.D.
- Harry is the Master of Death, with all that this entails, making Thanos another of Harry’s major antagonists, as Thanos would be incredibly jealous.
Optional Inclusions:
- Where the Sorcerer Supreme typically defends the Earth Dimension from extradimensional mystical threats, Harry’s purpose is to defend the Earth Dimension from home grown ones.
- Harry winding up being romantically paired with Elsa Bloodstone due to similar occupations.
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being romantically paired with a male character.
- Harry the Emo Doormat.

Complications
- Accident: Anyone who comes into contact with Harry's Berserker Staff with the intent to utilize it the way that he does, must succeed at a DC 24 Will Check, or else be overcome by an all consuming rage that causes them to attack anything and everything with no distinction between friend or foe. Due to his general Immunity to Emotion Effects granted by being the Master of Death, Harry doesn't suffer this complication the way other characters would.
- Enemy: Harry has made many enemies over the years, and while most of them are locked away in Azkaban, one has recently surfaced who calls himself "Mordred" and who wields a floating book that feeds into him unbelievable amounts of dark magic.
- Fame: Harry is just as famous as he is reviled. In terms of his fame, it is because he has done the miraculous deed of saving countless lives from possibly the worst Dark Lord in recent history.
- Motivation: Responsibility: During Harry's time at Hogwarts, he heard a great many bits of inspirational wisdom from Albus Dumbledore, and while the man had many faults the one thing he did say that Harry keeps in mind even to this day was: "there will be a time when we must choose between what is easy and what is right."
- Power Loss: Harry needs at least one hand free, or else the Berserker Staff in his possession to act as a focus, in order to cast his Spells. Unlike most other spellcasters, he doesn't need to verbalize his incantations.
- Relationship: Harry is the doting father of young Lily Luna Potter, though he has become estranged from Lily's mother, a woman formerly known as Ginevra Molly Potter. Their divorce was quite tumultuous and through some miracle, Harry retained custody of his daughter and control of his entire fortune.

Wonder Mage Brainstorm & Notes

Wonder Mage
Premise: In those worlds where Diana of Themyscira never came to exist, certain young men are often born who tend to pick up the slack that exists within the Lasso of Truth. This is the story of one such young man.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry’s moral and ethical alignment must be light or gray.
- Harry must be powerful or stronger.
- When the story starts is entirely up to the author, however it must start with Harry discovering his identity as the most recent scion of Zeus.
- If the Amazons exist, there was no Diana of Themyscira, and Harry, as a male, was given to Lily and James Potter instead of the Amazons for obvious reasons.
- Harry must retain his ability to use magic, in addition to his divine powers as a Demigod.
- Harry must have powers over lightning on account of his being the son of Zeus.
- Harry must runaway from the Dursley family at some point after having been placed there, much to Dumbledore’s consternation when he finds out.
- Ares must have managed to cause the fall of Olympus, the threat of which is what in the canonical timeline lead to his imprisonment beneath Themyscira.
- What form Ares takes in order to try and corrupt Harry to do his bidding is up to the author, but he does have to make at least one attempt at doing such a thing.
- Harry must not allow anyone, not even those who raised him, to dictate how he is to use his powers and abilities, especially not Ares.
- How other characters from DC Comics become involved is up to the author, but they should become involved.
- All romantic pairings, except for those involving another male character, are welcome.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Full crossover with DC Comics.
- Other crossovers involved in the fic apart from DC Comics.
- Harry being super-powerful or OP.
- Harry actually being a full deity made mortal, but still the son of Zeus.
- Harry having surviving siblings within the Olympian Pantheon other than just Ares.
- When Harry discovers his heritage, he receives gifts (e.g. weapons, armor, etc…)
- Harry seeking to rebuild Olympus from the ground up.
- Other divine beings, either from Olympus or otherwise, still live and are either friends or enemies to Harry.
- Other demigods existing on Earth or at Hogwarts.
- Harry obtaining a lightning or sky-based familiar (e.g. a Raijuu, thunder dragon or thunderbird).
- Harry being in a plural relationship.
- Harry not discovering his true identity until after Hogwarts.
- The DC Universe is somehow altered because of Harry (there is already no Wonder Woman, so who knows what else might be different).
Forbidden Things:
- Harry being a female character.
- Harry siding with Voldemort.
- Harry turning down his legacy.
- Harry the emo doormat.

Complications
- Curse Sworn: Harry is the only person who can ultimately defeat not just the Dark Lord Voldemort, but also the Olympian War God, Ares.
- Honor: Harry goes to great lengths to ensure that he never kills the people that he is forced into combat against, unless he has no other option save for killing them. He truly believes that even the worst criminal deserves the chance to earn the right to a second chance by serving the appropriate prison sentence.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry has a tendency to rush in where even angel's would fear to tread if it means he has the chance to save someone's life!
- Relationships: Harry is the demigod son of Zeus, who at the time of Harry's conception had bodily possessed James Potter, making Harry just as much James' son as he is Zeus'. Harry is also the son of Lily Potter, née Evans, and the godson of Sirius Black. All of his parental figures are now dead.
- Reputation: Harry practices a fighting style commonly known as "Street Fighting", in other words, the "put your opponent down as hard and fast as possible, so they don't hurt you or anyone you care about" style. This is why most people in Little Whinging believe him to be a no-good holligan.

Build Comments: When you actually look at what the Lasso is doing, it really does seem to be more of a re-skin of the Mind Reading power than it does an Affliction. In fact, it being a "Mind Probe" is how Ben Riley's stat blocks for Wonder Woman usually have it tagged.

Complications
- Guy Magnet: Power Girl tends to wear a far more revealing costume than even most other super-heroines. This has the unfortunate tendency to cause all manner of nefarious behavior in the less disciplined half of the gender divide.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Kara realizes she will never truly be able to truly fit in with humanity due to her extraterrestrial origins. So instead, she opts to use her superhuman abilities to defend her new home from otherworldly threats that would seek to either destroy or conquer the Earth. It is her hope that by protecting the people of Earth, they can come to accept her presence on their world.
- Power Loss: Power Girl loses her powers and her Strength, Stamina, Agility & Dexterity are reduced to 2 under a red sun, like that of Krypton.
- Temper: Power Girl is notorious for her temper.
- The Last Scion of Krypton: The only other Kryptonians aside from Power Girl who managed to survive the destruction of Krypton are ones she would prefer to lock away inside of the Phantom Zone for all of eternity. She is in all other respects the Last Scion of Krypton.
- Weakness: Power Girl is vulnerable to magic. Her Toughness is not Impervious against magical attacks. She is also vulnerable to the effects of the countless types of Kryptonite that have found their way to the planet Earth.

Complications
- Best Friends Forever: Huntress is close personal friends with Power Girl, and is one of the few people who knows what her real name is, as well as where she lives.
- Motivation: Vengeance: “Blood calls out for blood” has been the Huntress’ mantra since the beginning of her career. It is also something which causes her a great deal of friction with the other heroes that exist in the world, due to their desire to use less permanent methods of dealing with their enemies.
- Relationship: Huntress is the daughter of the late Bruce Wayne, and his wife, Selina Wayne, née Kyle. Unlike in other universes, Bruce never discovered the cave that rests beneath Wayne Manor, nor did he take up the life that Helena now leads. However, much like in the core universe, Helena's parents were murdered before her very eyes one night, with it being a miracle that she survived them.
- Responsibility: In her day to day life, Huntress is Helena Wayne, the C.E.O. of Wayne Enterprises, and with that comes immense responsibilities. She is also the equivalent to a Headmistress for the Wayne Enterprises Daycare, and often shows up to read stories for the children.

Build Comments: It is worth noting that on the Pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths version of Earth-2, Batman and Catwoman did end up getting hitched, and they had a daughter who they named Helena Wayne. This daughter would grow up to become the Earth-2 superheroine known as "The Huntress." Once the Crisis on Infinite Earths got resolved however, the Helena Wayne version of the Huntress got replaced by the Helena Bertinelli version, and was seemingly forgotten, right up until the New 52 did it's "Tour of the Multiverse" arc, where we got to meet the new Helena Wayne of Earth 2, and learned that just like the original, she too spent time using the masked alias of "The Huntress", though more recently she took up her father's mantle of being "The Batman."

It is probably worth noting that this fic takes place in a divergent timeline of Earth-2.
