Complications
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort would love it very much if Harry would just go ahead and die already. The problem is, at least for Voldemort, that the Dark Lord Voldemort would much prefer it if he were the one to send Harry to his early grave.
- Honor: Harry would much prefer to face his opponents head on in open combat, rather than to deal with them in a much more subtle manner. That isn't to say he is incapable of operating in a subtle manner, after all, he was a plausible candidate for Slytherin's house.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry will always try to save a damsel in distress, even if that damsel is actually a guy, or even when that damsel might not be someone he really has a good relationship with.
- Reputation: Harry, thanks to his lineage and also the actions of the Norse goddess by the name of Hel, is the rightful Master of Death. And with that station has come the unfortunate realization that those he once considered friends and allies now consider him nothing more than a nascent Dark Lord.
- Responsibility: The purpose of the Master of Death, is to ensure that those who are dead or should be dead, STAY dead. This means that Harry is the very thing which Voldemort fears above all other things.
- Temper: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about.

Build Comments: In this build Harry has a lot of powers that have the "Necromantic" descriptor. That doesn't necessarily mean he is evil or going dark. Rather, it just means those powers are associated with one of the many aspects of death. In this specific case, they are associated with the deities who focus on Repose, the final rest awarded to those who deserve a pleasant afterlife, and the eradication of those who use nefarious methods to stay in the land of the living long after they should have died.

None of these character builds are going to have Dimension Travel or Space Travel at a rank greater then 1, as both of those would best be handled using Power Stunts.

Complications
- Channeled Power: Hela becomes Stamina Impaired whenever she isn't within Asgard, Helheim or a temple dedicated to the worship of either herself or the Asgardian pantheon as a whole.
- Emissary of Death: Hela is a goddess representing death, and as such she often does things that further the goals of the Entity known as Death. This has often caused her to play the role of a villainess, whether or not that is actually what she happens to be. The latest in the tasks Death has asked Hela to perform was to break out of her prison so that she might to locate Harry Potter so as to help him unite the Deathly Hallows and become the "Master of Death."
- Motivation: Patriotism: Everything Hela has ever done, has always been for the betterment of the Kingdom of Asgard, even if her notion of 'betterment' used to coincide with the concept of 'conquer and subjugate all other societies.'
- Relationships: Hela is effectively a proxy for the entity known as Death in a romantic relationship involving Harry Potter. This is partly because Death was worried over what would happen if such a proxy hadn't been appointed by the time Harry succeeded in collecting the Deathly Hallows. She is also the elder sister to Thor Odinson, and a sister by adoption to Loki Laufeyson.

The Mjolnir Issue: In the earliest of comics, Mjolnir might have been very close to being considered Indestructible. However, it has been destroyed at least six times during the course of the comic books, and each time it was destroyed it had to be reforged. Unlike in Lord of the Rings, reforging a weapon would actually WEAKEN it's integrity. Thus Mjolnir can't POSSIBLY be considered indestructible the way certain builders on this and other sites like to claim.

That is also why the way I built Kinetic Reverberation is truly problematic for Thor, as his reliance on a single weapon means he has far more to lose if his hammer fails to make the requisite toughness checks to shake off the Weaken effect. Meanwhile, Loki would have no problem since he uses a dime a dozen throwing daggers.

For Those Who Don't Believe Me: Here are the issues of the comic books in which Mjolnir was destroyed those six times (unless otherwise stated it was restored the following issue):
- A force beam from the Destroyer did it in Journey into Mystery #119
- Molecule Man dispelled the atomic bonds in the hammer's molecules during, essentially disintegrating it in Avengers #215
- Thor used it to channel an incredible amount of energy that at the Celestial Exitar, and the hammer just wasn't up to the task. Thor #388
- The dark god Perrikus sliced Mjolnir in half with a magical scythe in Thor vol. 2 #10
- Apparently slamming the hammer into the Uru-metal weapons of Loki's followers not only destroyed the hammer, but created an explosion on the scale of a nuclear bomb, which raises the question of exactly how Asgardians get any training done at all. This happened in Thor vol. 2 #80. The hammer had to wait until Thor vol. 3 #1 before it was restored.
- The hammer was shattered by Bor Burison, the father of Odin Borson, in Thor #600.
- And as of recently, Hela destroyed it in the movie Thor Ragnarok.

Complications
- Like Mother, Like Daughter: Daphne looks virtually identical to her mother when Sigyn had been the same age that Daphne is now. This naturally means that anyone who has ever met Sigyn will instantly recognize Daphne for who and what she really is. It was the fear of such a fate, that caused Sigyn to have Daphne raised by a foster family.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Daphne is fully aware of who she really is, and what she earnestly desires above all else, is to be allowed to return to Asgard without the fear that what happened to her elder brother might happen to her.
- Power Inhibitor: Daphne is incapable of utilizing Transfiguration or Necromantic spells while the Luxuria Arcana array of her Rune Stone is active.
- Prejudice: Daphne is at best, fourth in line for the Asgardian Throne. Her father, uncle and aunt all have superior claims to the throne. Even then, if she has no chance of inheriting the throne for the simple reason that she is a nonentity within the Asgardian Royal Court. Even Hela has a more noticeable presence in that sphere of influence, despite having been all but erased from Asgardian history.
- Relationship: Daphne is the daughter of Loki Laufeyson and his wife Sigyn Iwaldidottir, although until recently only Sigyn was aware of that fact out of the three of them. She is also the foster sister of Astoria Greengrass, and the best friend of Tracey Davis.
- Temper: Anyone who makes an attempt to ask Daphne for a date, or who smacks her on the rear end risks retribution against their family jewels. Only those with very high pain tolerance need apply.
- Weakness: Daphne suffers an additional degree of effect from heat or fire-based attacks, and when exposed to Extreme Heat environmental conditions. This is on account of her being Half-Frost Giant.

Build Comments: Daphne is at a lower Power Level than Harry and Hela for two reasons. First is that she hasn't had any of the adventures that Harry or Hela have had, and secondly, because she hasn't really had anyone to help her learn her Asgardian powers. Now with that said, because I modeled Daphne off of a Pathfinder Wizard, she has a much higher Intellect score than either Harry or Hela do (though Hela comes close), meaning she can hold her own in conversations with the intellectual titans of the MCU, provided she takes the time to research the concepts they tend to focus on.

When her Rune Stone is active, it behaves rather remarkably like an electron, with Daphne's head as the nucleus of the atom in question. In other words it behaves in much the same way as an Ioun Stone. This is a characteristic of the unique Arcane Bond item belonging to the Runesage archetype for Wizards in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

Lokadottir Explained: It turns out that every time you see the word "Lokidottir" or "Lokisdottir" the person who wrote that word was attempting to say "Lokadottir", but due to a failure to research the grammar rules of the Old Norse language, we got a much more English looking word. Loka is the possessive (genitive) form of the name Loki, thus it is the form of the name that would be used in a word that means "Loki's daughter." Loki's son Narfi, would have been "Narfi Lokason."

The problem with buff spells: D&D and Pathfinder are games that absolutely LOVES their buff spells, and modeling them is a real nightmare if you try to do it any other way than with Luck Control. Hollow Heroism in Pathfinder is a spell which grants the target the effects of the Heroism spell, but with the complication that it can be ripped away from them by the caster when he or she feels even the slightest inclination. Since even Luck Control would have a hard time modeling that, I just tacked on the Insidious modifier to the Negate Luck version of the Luck Control power, and suddenly the target doesn't even realize they are having a bout of bad luck until after it does something to ruin their day.

Hiems Venit
Premise: Fire is seen as the most destructive element for a reason, wherever it goes it leaves ruin in its wake. But people often forget about the most silent killer of them all, the cold that creeps into your bones. Voldemort and Dumbledore forgot that Harry Potter was his own person, and now they must pay the price.
Required Inclusions:
- Harry Potter must be a member of the Jotnar race, or in other words a Frost Giant, and thus command the power of Ice.
- Elementals within the Wizarding World are rare, and thus it causes a stir when it is discovered that Harry has the power to command ice, provided he keeps his true nature a secret.
- Harry must not have a ‘true’ mentor, and must learn his powers independently.
- Instead of having a ‘burning’ temper, when Harry gets angry he goes ‘cold.’
- At least once, Harry must leave icy footsteps behind him.
- All moral and ethical alignments are welcome.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Crossover with Marvel Comics.
- Harry being one of the smaller more attractive sorts of Jotnar.
- There being other elementals within Potterverse.
- Fire Giants and Dark Elves being used as antagonists for Harry at some point.
- Veela being related, though not necessarily closely, to the Light Elves.

- The Deathly Hallows having something to do with Lady Death (Thanos’ would-be girlfriend).

Complications
- Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort would love it very much if Harry would just go ahead and die already. The problem is, at least for Voldemort, that the Dark Lord Voldemort would much prefer it if he were the one to send Harry to his early grave.
- Honor: Harry would much prefer to face his opponents head on in open combat, rather than to deal with them in a much more subtle manner. That isn't to say he is incapable of operating in a subtle manner, after all, he was a plausible candidate for Slytherin's house.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry will always try to save a damsel in distress, even if that damsel is actually a guy, or even when that damsel might not be someone he really has a good relationship with.
- Secret Identity: Frost giants are reputed for being barbaric raiders and monsters from ancient Scandinavian legends, and Harry might become viewed much the same way if it were to become known that he was also a Frost Giant.
- Temper: Harry is a tempestuous young man, who will often act without considering the consequences, even when he is being advised of those consequences by those who might have some idea what they are talking about. When angered though, Harry becomes as cold as the silentest of killers, the Arctic Chill.
- Weakness: Harry is Toughness Impaired against fire-based attacks, and suffers an additional degree of effect when exposed to Extreme Heat.

Medea’s Savior
Premise: She was going to die and she knew it… so when a miraculous young man with an overwhelming amount of Od offers to let her latch her existence on to his own, naturally she would accept the offer.
Required Inclusions:
- Medea’s master MUST be someone other than Kuzuki. They must also be a professional assassin, mercenary or soldier of some kind, preferably one who has experienced betrayal.
- Medea’s master MUST be the one to find her and form a contract with her, regardless of whether Kuzuki is present or not.
- Medea and her master must be involved in the Fifth Holy Grail War. And regardless of their allegiance they should find out about Angra Mainyu, Kirei & Gilgamesh.
- Once they find out about Angra Mainyu, Kirei & Gilgamesh, Medea and her master must work to stop them, even if only out of sheer pragmatism.
- Medea’s master can be of any moral alignment, up to and including being an outright villain.
- Medea and her master must be the primary pairing of the fic, regardless of the gender of her master. Though other pairings for said master are acceptable.
Preferred Inclusions:
- Medea’s master knows either Kuzuki and/or Kiritsugu on a professional level.
- Any kind of alliance with the main masters is allowed, save for with Shinji Matou or Kirei.
- Medea’s master is capable of using a form of magic or magecraft, even if they aren’t otherwise known for being able to utilize such.
- If Medea and her master are relatively good aligned, this story can be a story of redemption for one or both of them.

Build Comments: Harry's Power Level is one rank lower than it would have been if he weren't supporting Medea's mana supply in this scenario. Also, the decision to give him what is termed a "Pseudo-Grail" was based on a discussion I had on Discord where it was decided that Wizarding Magic was possible because of such a phenomena, similar to how characters in Fate/Requiem all have Holy Grails, and how the protagonist of Fate/Grand Order appears to have a Holy Grail.

The incantation I used for Fiendfyre comes from Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality.

Very interesting bio. I'll be right back on Discord. The windows was kind of frozen so I had to close the program to reboot it. At first when I saw the whole pseudo-grail thing, I thought Harry had been enhanced by the Einzbern as a reward for a job or another family that could do something similar.

Complications
- Dangerously Genre Savvy: Caster has seen past the myth that the Grail War is intended to grant a wish, and knows the reality that it is meant to forge a path to Akasha. She is therefore working towards a goal that would allow her to remain in the world after the Grail War is concluded without allowing the Grail to be summoned so that she might live happily ever after with her new family.
- Gotta Have Elf Ears: Caster is the great-grandchild of a Titan, grandchild of a god, and daughter of an oceanid. While she doesn't have the Divinity attribute that would have normally been associated with such a lineage for unknown reasons, she does possess pointy ears that denote her lineage. This tends to cause her to attract undue attention when she is out in public and not actively Astralized.
- Identity: Caster's true identity is that of Medea, the fallen Princess of Colchis and Witch of Betrayal. As is the case with all other Servants she is doing whatever she can to hide her identity from the other combatants in the Grail War.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Caster's primary goal in her new life is to gain acceptance from those she loves for the wrongs she committed in her past life, and to live happily ever after with them, or to at least ensure their dreams are realized to the best of her ability.
- Phobia: Caster is deathly afraid of the mountainous Servant known as Berserker, for she knows who he truly is, Heracles the son of Zeus.
- Quirk: While Medea can Astralize if she so wishes, due to the raw level of Prana that she is receiving from Harry, she really doesn't need to, nor does she really want to, so she rarely ever does Astralize.
- Relationship: Caster is the Servant of Harry Potter, and is utterly devoted to helping him achieve his dreams and ambitions in this war.

Complications
- All The Girls Want Him: Between Tohsaka Rin, Matou Sakura, Artoria Pendragon, Illyasviel von Einzbern and possibly even Medusa Gorgon, there really are an awful lot of girls with their hearts set on this boy.
- Enemies: Shirou can consider Harry Potter his enemy because Harry recognizes that Shirou's ambition is going to cause him to lead a very lonely life at the very least, if not get him outright killed. He can also consider the Red Archer his enemy for similar reasons. Meanwhile, Gilgamesh of Uruk views Shirou as a mild inconvenience towards his own personal ambition, that being the conquest of Artoria Pendragon. Lastly, there is still the minor issue of Shirou's little older sister.
- Motivation: Obsession: Shirou desperately wants to become a hero, so that he can prove to his late father that it really is possible to save EVERYONE!
- Reputation: For being an absolute and utter doormat. This can often cause him problems that may or may not lead to his demise.
- Sword for Brains: "I am the bone of my sword / Steel is my body and fire is my blood / I have created over a thousand blades / Unaware of loss, Nor aware of gain / Withstood pain to create weapons, waiting for one’s arrival / I have no regrets. Build Comment: This character's actual Power Level is largely dependent upon what point in the story that the fic has reached, and also on what sort of sword it is that he is using. This particular stat block is largely indicative of him in the starting stages of the Grail War when his go-to weapons are going to be things like reinforced rolls of poster-board or Shinai.

Shirou is in a lot of ways, what the Mutants and Masterminds Gamemaster Guide refers to as the "Jumped-Up Nobody" archetype, just with a different build.

Complications
- Enemy: Gilgamesh of Uruk would like very much to make Saber his bride, not because he is in love with her, but because he views her as the crowning jewel for his treasury. Similarly, Medea of Colchis would like to add Artoria to Harry's harem, which is something that seems to bemuse Harry as much as it does Artoria.
- Fame: Saber is also known as Artoria Pendragon, who was famed as King Arthur, which makes her instantly recognizable the moment she uses her Noble Phantasm's primary attack. This is why it has the secondary power known as Invisible Air.
- Honor: Saber is someone upon whom the ideals of Knightly Chivalry seem to be founded, and for whom those self same ideals have become an integral part of her very existence.
- Motivation: Greed: Saber is someone who is motivated purely by a selfish desire to have a second chance at the Selection Ceremony that got her named King Arthur. She wishes to never have become the King, so that someone else can do the job in a way that she hopes will be far better than her own performance, but who will more than likely do far worse than she could ever possibly begin to imagine.
- Relationship: Saber is the Servant of Emiya Shirou and although she has her own reasons for fighting in the Grail War, will do whatever it takes to ensure Shirou gets his wish.
- Rivalry: With Tohsaka Rin (who Saber is just as attracted to as she is to Shirou), Illyasviel von Einzbern and Matou Sakura, all of which is over the affections of Emiya Shirou.

Complications
- Enemy: Rin absolutely despises the so-called "Fake Priest" known as Kotomine Kirei. It's unfortunate then, that he is her legal guardian and alleged caretaker.
- Home Wrecked: Rin's manor home has a huge hole in the roof right over the top of her living room. This is a result of how badly she flubbed her summoning ritual, and is ENTIRELY her own darn fault. In any event. This is also why she has been mooching off of Shirou's absurdly massive generosity.
- Motivation: Responsibility: The only reason Rin is involved in the Fifth Holy Grail War is because it is EXPECTED of her to be involved in the Fifth Holy Grail War as the Heiress Apparent to the Tohsaka Family and the Second Owner of the Land that the Grail War is taking place on.
- Relationship: Rin is the Master of the Red Archer in the Fifth Holy Grail War, and she absolutely despises her Servant for the simple reason that he is unruly and doesn't like listening to her orders. She is also completely oblivious to the similarities in facial structure between her Servant and the boy she has a crush on, Emiya Shirou.
- Rivalry: With Artoria Pendragon (who she has unfathomable romantic feelings towards, just as she does towards Shirou), her sister Sakura, and Illyasviel von Einzbern, all because these four young ladies are attracted to the same young man.
- Technology Inept: While Rin knows how to utilize the Technology skill, she is always treated as though she were Disabled when making skill checks with that skill, meaning that she automatically starts with 1 degree of failure when using technology. The same would apply to vehicles if she ever bothered to learn to drive.

Complications
- Honor: Archer won't actually attempt to kill Shirou until the latter end of the Grail War, and preferably only while Shirou is fully prepared to engage him in battle.
- Obsession: With bringing about a grandfather paradox by killing his temporal predecessor so that Shirou does not ultimately become what Archer already is.
- Relationship: Archer is the servant of Tohsaka Rin, and he absolutely adores the thought of needling the girl who he might have possibly had romantic feelings for in his own timeline.
- Secret Identity: Archer is in reality the Emiya Shirou from an alternate future where he definitely did not get a happy ending.

Build Comments: Rho Aias is basically going to be handled as a Power Stunt, and is either the Deflect power (though without the Reflect or Redirect modifiers), or the Create power with the Impervious modifier. It would however be a Power Stunt on his Projection Magic Array.

My reason for deciding it has to be a Power Stunt is that he uses it maybe twice in the course of each of the three Routes, if even that many times. Frankly speaking, the Reality Marble should be a Power Stunt too, but I couldn't justify that.

Speaking of the Reality Marble, I couldn't really think of a better way to handle it than the Environment power, since that's essentially what Reality Marbles are.
