Complications
- Motivation: Responsibility: Like many of the other residents at Xavier's Institute, Jean has been inspired to help Charles Xavier bring about an era in which mutants need not hide what they are from others due to a mutual understanding between both mutants and ordinary humans.
- Phoenix Spark: Jean is one of several individuals who could have been the Host to the Phoenix Force in the current generation, and in some continuities it is even stated that she is the preferred host of the Phoenix Entity.
- Relationships: Jean is currently dating Duncan Matthews, though she is doing so more for the prestige of being able to say she is dating Bayville High's quarterback than for any romantic interest in the guy. She is also "Best Friends" with Taryn Fujioka, though that is definitely a strained friendship.

Complications
- Enemies: The Shi'ar Empire in particular, are among the forces aiming to eradicate Dark Phoenix once and for all.
- Identity: Dark Phoenix represents the dark emotions belonging to the Phoenix Force that Harry somehow was miraculously able to cut off from himself. Unfortunately these dark emotions gained a semblance of life that exists independently from Harry and are even more powerful than him.

- Enemy: Pretty much everything that lives and breathes can consider Thanos their enemies, but the one person who is noted as being able to single handedly defeat Thanos is none other than Doreen Green, aka Squirrel Girl.
- Obsession: With the Cosmic Entity known as "Death." Thanos would not take it very well if someone other than himself were to become known as "The Master of Death."
- Plot Device: The Infinite Gems and Gauntlet are to be considered as such when used by Thanos, as they effectively raise him to Power Level X for as long as he is actively using them. Although, he rarely uses them for more than a 1-shot game ender against the player characters.
- Relationships: Thanos has adopted many individuals as his 'children' but only Nebula has the distinction of being able to claim that she is Thanos' actual biological granddaughter, though there is some debate on whether that is true or not.

Ocean Power Brainstorm & Notes

Ocean Power
Premise: “In Britain, you would rule with magic and air power,” Mera had said. “Here, you will learn to use ocean power. This is your inheritance, Harry.”
Required Inclusions:
- Lily Evans must have been the long lost sister of the future Queen Mera.
- Harry must somehow wind up in Atlantis, and be found by the Atlanteans.
- Using Atlantean magic, Mera must discover that Harry is her nephew and decide to raise him after figuring out that the home life he had been living up till then wasn’t ideal.
- Harry must be absent when Mera meets Aquaman/Arthur Curry.
- Harry being a Duke within Xebel, or possibly being a Prince within Xebel if Lily was of sufficient rank within their royal family for him to warrant the title of “Prince.”
Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry’s primary pairing being a character from the DC Universe.
- Mera for some reason forgetting to inform Arthur about Harry’s existence.
- Harry opting to attend Hogwarts, if only to honor Lily’s memory rather than because of any real need to do so.

- Cover Identity: Traci lives two lives. To the world of superheroes and heroines she goes by her birth name of Traci Thirteen. However while living the life of an up and coming British Witch, she goes by the name of Tracey Davis. That name and identity were created for her by the actions of one of her mother's longtime friends, Cyrus Greengrass, when Traci expressed an interest in attending Hogwarts, it was deemed necessary to protect her from unwanted attention due to her father's career as a professional skeptic.

Re: Water Bearers: The thing with the Water Bearers is that they can be handled in a wide variety of ways, and given what they actually do, handling them as a complication makes more sense to me than making them a piece of equipment or a device.

I've done enough members of the Batman Family lately that I don't feel like building another one. That entire family is virtually identical save for a few key differences on each stat block, it just isn't worth the effort to continue stating them out, especially as I think I've done Mister Grayson once before.
